Tokyo
We booked this tour for our first day in Japan.
It was a great introduction to Japanese culture and history.
The pickup and timing was all very efficient. The two tour guides where friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining.
We could not enjoy all the attractions, due to rain in the morning hours. Rest of the day with lunch, Tea Ceremony and Palace was great. We really enjoyed it with the guide and would recommend this trip.

My husband and I took this tour as part of our first full day in Tokyo. We didn't really know what to expect. We are normally brave travelers who use public transit to see metropolitan cities. However, the more I researched more about Tokyo's attractions the more I began to feel overwhelmed. Enter Veltra and the Grand Tour Highlights with English Guide and Lunch Included!!! It was everything we could've hoped for. A great mix of traditional Japanese shrines and temples with a touch of modern tour attractions. The tour guides were so informative and friendly. Our bus driver was skilled and friendly, too. We actually missed our meeting time by 7min (because we exited the wrong exit in the Tokyo train station - we should've given ourselves more time to navigate that train station...read it'll take you 15 minutes - no joke- to go from one end to the other). Even though we missed our scheduled pick-up time, because we had pre-paid they left someone behind to wait for us and take us by cab (we paid $11 for the cab ride) to where the bus was making it's final pick up of people. The lunch that was included was delicious! We felt like we had enough time at each stop to explore on our own and make it back to the bus. Our guides were always very clear about what time and where exactly to find the bus. They counted us each time to make sure we didn't get lost - we felt very safe and well taken care of.
I was so impressed with the booking process on Veltra that I did not hesitate to book a similar tour to this in Kyoto. The instant confirmation and voucher system on the app makes it easy to use on the go!
The open-top bus was refreshing.
It was fun to see Tokyo Tower up close.
I was disappointed that we spent too much time at the shopping center in Odaiba.
オープントップバスが気持ち良かったです。
東京タワーがまじかでみられて楽しかったです。
お台場でのショッピングセンターの時間が長かったのが残念でした。
This tour was great to show us the highlights of Tokyo. We really enjoyed it
I absolutely adored this tour! You really get to see so much of Tokyo for such a small price AND with lunch included! I learned a lot about the beautiful city, this tour was excellent and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant! The only thing I was bothered by was how there would be people who would constantly make us late, and I completely understand that it isn't the travel agency or the tour guides fault if people decide to be inconsiderate! Our tour guide was always clear at what time we were suppose to be back on the bus, but if you are booking this trip please be considerate of other people and don't be that person holding everyone back! Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Tour and how much we covered in the day. It is rather. Long day but well worth it. The tour guide provided many interesting and educational insights into not only locations but also cultural explanations we hadn’t known. I wished we had some more time here and there but as it was the day was full. The lunch was fantastic and in a very cool location as was the tea ceremony. I think the cruise is the thing I cared for least but it was an interesting means of transport to get to the Akasuka temple. We have booked another tour and are looking forward to it tomorrow!
Tour guide was knowledgeable and informative. Hotel pickup was timely.
The tour guides from the morning to afternoon tour were great. Though the weather wasnt good yet the tour conducted so well. Grayline company is highly recommended.
Excellent guide. Superb Japanese lunch. Could not fault
Very kind and knowledgeable Nobu san, the tour guide. Explained everything in an interesting way.
We enjoyed it very much --had a great time --the tour guide was --plan to come back soon
Okay. A fair bit of time in the morning waiting but that's to be expected in such a big city where everyone is coming from different places. Wouldn't really recommend for solo travelers. A little bit isolating at lunch as everyone is put to sit with their groups. Other tours would be better if you're on your own, and the spots are easily accessible on your own by subway.
Well organised. Shame Imperial Palace Garden is closed on Mondays!
Morning guide was terrific! Afternoon guide was very good. Would not hesitate to recommend.
we delighted to have been on a well-planned Volta trip where we had a chance to visit the palace gardens and the Fish Market and Asakusa Temple and ofiba cruise and shopping mall.. Despite the rain we managed to exhaust the sites with good guidance and precise time planning by Ari and Lyz.
The meal was varied and anyone could choose the dishes at will. The view from the window was amazing The peak of the trip was visiting the fish market where we tasted the best of the wonderful fish of Japan. A warm recommendation to visit the petmo shop in store in Odaiba opposite the Statue of Liberty
The view from the window was amazing
I highly recommend Veltra !!!
Thank you for joining our tour and review.
We are happy to hear that!
We hope you have great days in Japan.

Japan Panoramic Tours
Guide excellent. A lot of walking, but a good Tokyo first getting acquainted
A fun afternoon sightseeing Tokyo. Would recommend to anyone. We were picked up from hotel and taken to meet our guide Yuko.
The best tour we took in Tokyo our guide Mia was excellent her English was very good and her knowledge was excellent.
It was my first tour that I attended in Tokyo, although I had been in Tokyo several times and it was really nice tour for half day. I traveled with my father for graduation I mean it was graduation trip. We had a good time especially my father liked it very much. Particularly the cruise part, my father really enjoyed it even it is just 10 or 15 minutes. As for me it was 2nd time so it is normal for me. I also enjoyed the tour. First we went to imperial palace and saw imperial palace the time that we spent there was not so much there just enough to take pictures. Then we went to asakusa, it is old temple or shrine in japan with a lot of shops around but not cheap. We went to tsukiji fish market, nothing special. Then to odaiba built island with mini statue of liberty and amazing view, had lunch there they provided halal lunch box for us which is really I am thankful for. In odaiba we took great pictures and videos. After we travelled in a nice boat from odaiba to Hinode Pier. Then they dropped us in shibuya that we wanted to go and see famous shibuya crossing and monument of hachiko the loyal dog. Thus, it was really nice tour we enjoyed ourselves. The staff were also nice people and helped us much, especially the tour assistant Levin from Philippine. He is a really nice guy and outgoing, willing to help the customers.
Thank you for joining our tour,
We are happy to hear that! We hope you have a lot of memories in Japan
Lady Tour Guide - Eiko San was really good who conducted d 1st lap in d morning.
Afternoon Guide - a Gentleman was not that efficient. Next time suggest U allocate one Guide for d Full Day Tour. Thanks.
Fantastic tour seeing all the must see attractions with a brilliant english speaking guide .the meal was amazing and the tour was very good value
I took my overseas friends with me. It was my first time too, but they seemed very satisfied!
Since we were on the second floor of the open bus, the traffic lights and signs were right there...! The Rainbow Bridge was breathtaking!
It was a bit rainy, so it felt like Splash Mountain, which was fun. (laughs)
The guide was wonderful as well.
I want to ride again!
I wanted an easy introduction to Tokyo, and this worked perfectly. We saw so many highlights, and our guide (and guide in training) was wonderful. My favorite site was Asakusa, but the boat tour was outstanding too. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to Tokyo. It is relaxing and fun and not strenuous.
It was a good tour. Enjoyed it.
It was very amazing and beautiful Japan is! I admire the Japanese people about there culture and mostly there attitude, generally they are nice and patient people....I didnt experienced any discrimination where ever we went, Tokyo is really a nice place to come visit...so peaceful and clean...I also recommend our tour guide yulie who is very knowledgeable about the place and very accommodating, Im sure i want to come back soon and book my trip to your company again. Thank you and more power.
Thank you for joining our tour,

This tour was alright. The sights we were brought to were good and entertaining. Although the time allocated for each stop was not even close to being enough...the tsukiji fish market was excellent and the food was great and at the same time affordable. The buffet was not exeptional considering the price that was paid for it. Overall it is a tour that all first timers in tokyo must do. But really it was the tour assistant LEVIN that made the tour interesting. Thank you to LEVIN

Overall this tour was quite disappointing. It started with being sent to the wrong hotel for pick up and then being made to feel like it was our fault that we were where we had been told to be. Not an apology from anyone. The actual tour itself took us to the Tokyo Tower, which can easily be accessed by JR, a tea ceremony that was awkward at best and boring at its worst, after that it was off to the Imperial Palace (well the garden anyway. Most of us chose to lay under the trees for the half hour allocated (again made to feel guilty for not being on the bus early even though we were right in front of it). The lunch was a highlight at the Chinzhano Hotel, restaurant staff were very accommodating and the setting was lovely. After that we headed for a boat tour, the purpose of which I am still uncertain, to say it was boring is an understatement, nevertheless we ended up at Asakusa, which was interesting but not enough time had been allowed to make it worthwhile and then back to Tokyo station to leave the tour. We were not the only ones happy to get off the bus. I would not take this tour again but I would find my own way by JR to the main highlights, it would take far less time and cost a lot less money.
It's brief and wonderful trip
