My husband and I attended the Day tour to Mt. Fuji on Saturday. We were picked up near the LOVE statue in Shinjuku which is very convenient to everyone. Also audio was given to us which is on different languages through out the tour. Free wifi was on board and the tour guide were awesome including the driver. They were very helpful in everything. I will recommend this tour to my friends and I believed that it's worth the money.

The tour guide (kamiko) took care of the whole tour bus group from the hotel to the bullet train. Pickup was right outside of our hotel and straight to mt. Fuji which was very clear that day! Then to hakone for a cruise on the lake and a cable car up to the too of that mountain to see mt fuji across the lake. Then we were dropped off at the bullet train station with ticket included. The whole day was carefree!

Enjoyable tour, very helpful tour guide who did her best to make sure we got to every place! It was a clear day so we managed to see Mt Fuji (I understand this doesn't always happen). We couldn't go to eat the egg at the volcano because of the earthquake situation. But Hakone was beautiful! Definitely the highlight of my trip to Japan, and my parents enjoyed it too. Everything was great on this tour! The tour bus was very comfortable and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Even though we only went to the 2nd station, I think that was great. We were lucky because we were able to see Fuji clearly as the clouds passed. Then we stopped for lunch, which was prepared and waiting for us when we arrived. The lunch was definitely worth the extra money. Next we arrived at Lake Ashi and rode the pirate ship to the other side of the lake. Great scenery and even a glimpse of Fuji from the lake. We then took the Komagatake ropeway tram. It was very crowded and we probably had to wait an hour to get on the tram. Beautiful views and a short hike to a shrine were waiting at the top. Lastly, we were dropped off at the train station and rode the bullet train back to Tokyo. I would definitely recommend taking the bullet train back because otherwise it would add another 2-3 hours to the day if you take the tour bus back. All in all, everything about this tour was perfect and I would recommend it to anyone.

It was raining a lot the entire time we were on the tour. At the Imperial Palace, there was no time to roam around because we were following the guide and the group took many pictures under the rain. At Asakusa, we were allowed to roam around on our own and strolled along the shops at our own pace. However, we had to wait for everyone at the tour to get back on the bus. Some people choose this to be their last stop and we lost time due to miscommunication. We ended up with less than 10 minutes to spend at the outer fish market.
The main highlights of this tour is the bus ride with the audio commentary and the buffet lunch. The lunch location overlooks the bridge and statue of liberty - spectacular view. There is not enough time to explore the stops provided in the tour. It is best to choose an area to explore and have the bus drop you off as your last stop. We chose Shibuya as our last stop and walked back to Shinjuku.
Other Tips:
1. This tour is good for people arriving on the first day and dont want to explore too much.
2. If you want to eat Japanese food, i would suggest not selecting the lunch. We were full from the American lunch and did not have room to eat dinner!
3. If you like to explore and walk at your own pace (whether fast or slow), then you should not select this tour.

I had Mount Fuji on my bucket list and it was simply breathtaking. I was very lucky as the weather was just right to have a spectacular view from Lake Kawaguchi. We made it to the fourth station on Mount Fuji but the clouds had rolled in by then. If I had to make one recommendation to the tour, I would ask for more time at Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi and less time at the Ninja village. (That was a little weak)

To begin with let me highlight an important aspect of the day that may have caused our experience to be inferior. The weather on the day we took the tour was dull and raining at some of the spots
The tour is ideal for people who want to do a self-guided style tour covering most important sites of Tokyo. Since this was our first time we felt that with little guidance from the guide we were basically just strolling around and checking things ourselves
The tour started off with the Imperial Palace east garden. We just strolled past some part, took pics and we're back in the bus. Along the way we passed by some of the districts and the audio guide was helpful in understanding some aspects. But definitely nothing close to having a guide who will explain things. Next we got down at Sensoji shrine but without any guidance just pretty much strolled around. Would have liked to get some history and perspective on the structure.
The outer fish market was extremely boring - it's basically like any other market. Would have loved if the tour gave a peek into the inner market though which surely is more interesting ! Then was the Odaiba cruise which was average.
The best part of the tour was the lunch. It was an American diner with a wide spread of options from Italian to Chinese to a few Turkish dishes. Oh not to forget the traditional Japanese cuisine too.
The guide we felt was a bit inexpeienced but definitely did make our journey comfortable. She was also very accommodating and flexible
Wish this tour was as awesome as the Mt. Fuji one by the same tour company
Thank you very much for joining our tour and your comment.
Your feedback about our guiding, scheduling and contents at Imperial Palace, Asakusa, fish market would be valuable to make tours better.

Let me start by saying a few words about our wonderful guides - Mario and Rick. They went out of their way to ensure that all the folks enjoyed the tour. They were patience and made sure to accommodate various needs of people. Moreover they also had excellent recommendations for things to do in Japan, places to eat etc.
Our first stop at the Lake was for 20 minutes or so - sufficient to take good pictures of Mt. Fuji against the lake's backdrop. As per Rick's reco we had the blueberry ice cream and it was fantastic !
Our next stop the 7 ponds was amazing too and we could grab a few souvenirs here. The clear water in the ponds and the beautiful fish within made it a worthy sight !
Next we stopped at Ninja Village for lunch. The lunch was set menu traditional Japanese lunch with ample chicken and fish options.Since it was set before we arrived it had got a bit cold. But I guess that saved some time and we could spare the remaining 30-35 mins hanging around the village.
The next and most awaited stop was the 4th station at Mt Fuji. Due to weather conditions we could not go up to the 5th station. The guides were very transparent in this regard and already briefed us earlier about it. Since it was snowing the views were completely blocked.
The final destination was the 4D tour at Fuji highlands. Going into it I was highly skeptical that it might be just one of those Star War 4D rides at Disney. But to our surprise it was much more than that. The 4D ride was thrilling and the views of My Fuji that we missed in reality we could see them here. All the four season views through animation were breathtaking !!
Overall we could not have asked for a better trip ! It was probably one of the most fun days in our Japan trip ! Thanks Japan Panoramic Tours for making it such an enjoyable and memorable experience for us
Thank you very much for joining our My.Fuji tour and such warmful comments on us!

My boyfriend came visited me from Philly during spring break so I wanted to book a tour for the two of us to get out of Tokyo for one day. The tour guides were super friendly and helpful. I loved the way the tour was planned out. It came to several places within an efficient amount of time so that you could get the most out of a day trip without feeling too exhausted/ too bored. Lake Kawaguchi was beautiful! We could see Mt. Fuji clearly. Although we could not get to the fifth station at Mt. Fuji, we still managed to get to 4th station. We came back to Tokyo around 5pm, which was great because then we could still explore Tokyo at night. In short, please book this tour for beautiful memories and convenience because you don't have to do anything pretty much and just enjoy the time with your accompanies.

The tour is a good overview for people who just wants a day trip to mt Fuji and can't spend more time there. Tourist who doesn't have too much time and can't spend a night near the area.
A beautiful view of mt Fuji can be taken at the lake. Very nice.
The village gives another experience, supposedly one can see the making of soba, there is also a Japanese garden near the bus drop off pt,
The ninja village is ok. Lunch is abit disappointing, it's cold because they prepared earlier. Be prepared to pay more if you want to try the ninja activities. If not it will be just a walk in the 'park' and a place for hot spring for the feet.
5th station stop was abit too short as we had only 5mins which wasn even enough for toliet. But this was due to the jam traffic .
The tour ends off with a stimulation ride of mt Fuji.
Overall, the guides are nice and the tour was well-planned.
Thank you very much for joining our tour.

It is very valuable comment about lunch and time at 5th station.

What a great way to tour and navigate around the tourist spots of Tokyo. The open top makes for good views of the city and landscape. We took full advantage of the 1 day pass, hopping off at different points in the city. We started Friday afternoon until Saturday afternoon. Our favorite stop was Asakusa Kanakawado the closest stop to the Senso-ji Temple. We ended up there both days to see even more sites. The wait time between buses was enough to explore and hop back on. Three routes cover a vast area and you probably need more than a day pass. This is a great way to maximize your time in Toyko, you don’t have to figure out a complicated metro map or wonder when you get out of the metro station which direction your destination is in. The audio guide was informative and staff member was available to answer your questions. For those who like the double-decker bus experience, you won't be disappointed.

The ticket we bought was valid for 24 hours so we used it for 2 days. We started at 4 in the afternoon and continued on until the next day. The service was very efficient. I missed the bus in just a matter of 30 seconds as it drove right past me. I was not prepared to run after it. It was no big deal as I caught the next one since I was in no rush. I had a schedule with me so I was able to get a nice cup of coffee and shopped for a bit and made sure I was there at least 10 minutes before schedule! You need to plan your route and sight seeing carefully.
I went on 2 routes. The Tokyo Sky Tree and the Odaiba route. Both had their own charms. Would recommend the Odaiba route after sunset and the Sky tree route during the day. The Odaiba route was very scenic at night because of the rainbow bridge , Tokyo Tower and the skyline was just breath taking. Hopped off at the Tokyo Sky Tree the next day. Went up the tower for the amazing view. I was there pretty early I suppose hence the queue was not bad at all. The stop was pretty close by and if you could not find your way back to the bus stop, just ask people around you. Everyone was extremely helpful. Japanese would go out of their way to show you where the bus stop is. They would physically bring you there. You just tell them it’s the sky hop on hop off bus and they will bring you there.
If you are tight for time, and want to see as much of Tokyo as you can in that short period of time, this would be your best shot. I had a great time. My time in Tokyo was limited so I was glad I got on this tour bus.

The one we got on was an open top. Super punctual. The bus would be comfortable on a good day since there are no seats available downstairs. Therefore there’s limited space when it rains. Only 4 seats in the front row is covered while the rest is open hence the chances of getting those 4 seats? Very very very slim. And those who gets the seats in front would not hop off the bus. Our experience was 2 teenagers hogged all 4 front row seats to themselves.
Apart from the rain, it would have been a wonderful experience. You get to see so many interesting sites which we would not have seen by metro underground such as the Tokyo tower, the rainbow bridge, and the sky tree. This would have been the perfect tour on a lovely sunny weather. We sat towards the front of the bus… so we were sheltered from the strong winds, not the rain. I could not imagine sitting in the back in the wet, cold and with the freezing wind blowing. I glad we got shielded from the wind at least. However we saw some Japanese school kids at the back having an awesome time with the strong wind blowing in their faces, taking selfies, laughing and having so much fun.
The bus was not full perhaps because of the weather. We had 3 children under 5 in which we bought tickets for them too because if you do not, they would have to be seated on your lap. However if you have hyper active children… perhaps being on your lap could be a safer choice. Our kids enjoyed the ride and the view. When they are tired, they could just sleep comfortably leaning on you without falling over as the bus ride was very smooth! The driver was excellent. Even my daughter who is prone to motion sickness felt super.
Overall, it was a good experience. The commentary played correctly, at the correct venue and it was pretty informative. The adults appreciated the commentary while the kids enjoyed the view.

We had a great experience with Veltra... we bought the ticket and was very easy to find the location to exchange the tickets. The tour was awesome, always on time, clean bus with pleasant people and good information about the city. We had a great time in Tokyo and we discovered many places in Tokyo that probably we wouldn't find without this tour. Our main highlight was the Skytree tower (the tower has 2 levels, we went to both, they charge each level separated, but was worth to visit both), Asakusa temple (we spent a lot of time there, beautiful location and lots of shopping), Tokyo Tower (also has 2 levels, we just visited one as the second level was closed due the winds), and many more. Same company, same busses, plenty of free seats on both busses but it was IMPOSSIBLE to change ticket. I think you need to be a bit flexible. Not sure I would recommend to a friend. Me and my husband purchased the Tokyo Sky Bus Tickets through Veltra's website and scheduled the tour for the next day. We received the voucher through e-mail and it was really easy to get our tickets the next day! Their office is really close to the Tokyo Station and the bus take off from there. We did the 3 routes on the same day and they were all really nice. On the blue route, we stopped at Asakusa temple ! They have a lot of little shops and food tends there... all of the typical things! On green route, we headed to the fish market, we had incredible sushi there and the quality of the food was great and of course really fresh! For our last route, (the purple one) we stopped on Roppongi hills and it was really pleasant to finish our day there and have some dinner. They have really nice stores and all kind of restaurants, cafes, etc. We had dinner at this Italian place called Il Ritrovo and the pizza, pasta and price there were great! You can get the Restaurants map at the entrance of the mall and there you can check all the options and price rates, it was great!
Our only complain it was the audio on the green bus that was not working and we couldn't hear the route.
Overall we had a really nice day!
