The day before, I had a hard trek to Jomon Sugi, but I was able to explore without any difficulty.

Thanks to being delivered in time for the return ferry, I was able to board smoothly.

また、帰りのフェリーに間に合う様に送り届けけて頂けてたお蔭でスムーズに乗船する事ができました。

It was a day with quite a bit of rain, and we were ready to give up on sightseeing ourselves, but since we were picked up at the hotel and efficiently taken to the sightseeing spots, we were glad we participated.

結構な雨降りの日で、自分達では観光は諦めてしまうところでしたが、ホテルまで迎えに来て貰えるし、観光のポイントを要領よく回って貰えるので、参加してよかったです。

I finally got to go on a Yakushima tour. I participated with another housewife in her 50s from Hiroshima. The day before, the guide called us, and he picked us up at 4:30 the next morning. This time, we were a group of six, including three university students.

The hiking trail with stones and roots was tougher than I expected. The moss-covered stones were slippery, and if I let my guard down, I could easily fall. I focused on my footing to avoid bothering everyone. Thanks to that, I was able to see Jomon Sugi and the moss forest, which was truly moving.

The guide was experienced and gave us various pieces of advice. He said, "This course is efficient and highly recommended." I completely agree. It's hard, but it's better than splitting it over two days, as we could use our time effectively. By the way, the next day, we enjoyed a drive around Yakushima.

Although I was hit with muscle pain the day after the hike, I was relieved to have made it down safely. I want to give myself a pat on the back. We were blessed with clear weather, making it the best day ever. The only regret is that I didn't have the chance to leisurely gaze at the starry sky. Just before dawn, the stars were falling like rain.

I wonder if I will see the guide again. He was truly impressive. I thought it might be nice to age gracefully like that. Thank you for everything.

念願の屋久島ツアー。広島から50代の主婦２人で参加しました。
前日にガイドさんから電話があり、翌朝4時半にガイドさんが迎えにきてくれました。今回は３人の大学生と計６人のグループで行動しました。
石と根っこの登山道は思った以上に大変でした。苔の生えた石も滑るし、気を許すと転んでしまいます。皆に迷惑をかけてはいけないので足元に集中しました。おかげで縄文杉も、苔の森も見ることができて感動しました。
ガイドさんはベテランで、いろいろアドバイスをいただきました。いわく「このコースは、効率よくまわれておすすめ」と。私も同感。ハードですが、２日に分けて行くより、時間をうまく使えます。ちなみに私たちは翌日、屋久島一周ドライブを楽しみました。
登山翌日は筋肉痛に見舞われたものの、無事に下山できてほっとしています。自分で自分をほめてあげたい。
快晴にも恵まれ、最高の一日でした。残念なのは、星空をゆっくり眺める余裕がなかったこと。夜明け前は、降るような星空でした。
ガイドさん、また会えるかな。さすがでした。あんなふうにすてきに年を取るのもよいかなと思いました。お世話になりました。

On March 15th, I participated with my daughter. Although Yakushima is said to have a lot of rain, we were blessed with perfect trekking weather. From early morning, the warm kindness and thoughtfulness of our guide, Mr. S, made our trekking experience in Yakushima even more fulfilling and enjoyable. It was my daughter's first trekking debut, and I'm glad it turned out to be such a wonderful experience that she will surely become hooked on trekking in the future. Thank you very much! ３月１５日娘と一緒に参加しました。屋久島は、雨がとても多いと言われている中、最高のトレッキング日和に恵まれました。早朝から、終日一緒だったガイドのS様のほっこりする優しさとお気遣いに、屋久島でのトレッキングがより充実した楽しい想い出となりました。娘は、初トレッキングデビューでしたが、きっとこれから先トレッキングにハマルぐらい素晴らしい経験となり良かったです。有難うございました！ご縁に感謝・・・・

I participated with my daughter, and although we are beginners in hiking, we chose the advanced course from Shiratani Unsuikyo to Taiko Rock, Jomon Sugi, and Arakawa-guchi.

Fortunately, there were only two participants in the tour, making it a private tour. We were moved by the starry sky as we started our hike. We were blessed with good weather and were able to walk happily until the end.

Our handsome guide, who loves nature and families, kindly and attentively guided us, and the 14 hours, including hotel pick-up, flew by. We considered splitting Shiratani Unsuikyo & Taiko Rock and Jomon Sugi over two days, but I’m glad we did it in one day.

This is because the day after the hike, I had muscle pain and my legs were shaky, making it difficult to walk, so I don't think I could have gone hiking on the second day.

It’s a tough course for someone who doesn’t exercise at all, but even at 55 years old, with an office job, I was fine with just a few minutes of daily exercises like going up and down stairs and squats.

Even though it was a day trip, our guide had a large backpack, and in addition to preparations for emergencies, he provided mats for breaks, warm miso soup, and herbal tea, which I truly appreciated.

I made wonderful memories with my daughter. Thank you very much!

娘と二人で参加、登山初心者ですが白谷雲水峡→太鼓岩→縄文杉→荒川口の上級コースを選びました。
ラッキーなことにツアー参加者は二人だけでプライベートツアーとなりました。
満天の星に感動しての登山スタート。お天気に恵まれ最後までご機嫌で歩けました。
自然とご家族を愛するイケメンガイドさんが親切丁寧に案内してくださり、ホテル送迎含んで14時間という時間がアッという間でした。
白谷雲水峡&太鼓岩と縄文杉を二日に分けることも考えましたが、一日にしてよかったです。
何故なら登山の翌日は筋肉痛で足がガクガクになり歩くのも大変になったので、2日目の登山は行けなかったと思います。。
全く運動していない人には厳しいコースですが、オフィスワークで55歳の私でも階段の上り下りやスクワット等の運動を毎日数分するだけの準備で大丈夫でした。
日帰りだというのにガイドさんのザックは大きく、もしもの時の準備に加え、休憩時の敷物や温かいお味噌汁やハーブティ等を準備してくださり、その優しさを心から嬉しく思いました。
娘との最高の思い出が出来ました。ありがとうございました！

The guide was very interesting and experienced, and I was able to walk for 12 hours without getting bored at all! The sense of achievement when I saw Jomon Sugi and the negative ions I inhaled made me feel happy every time I remember it.

We were blessed with great weather and approached Jomon Sugi in the best conditions. Although we were a group of four who lacked exercise, we had so much fun that we went over our scheduled time on the tramway. Thanks to our guide who set the pace, everyone was able to meet Jomon Sugi with smiles. It truly became an enjoyable and irreplaceable trip. Thank you, Yuki. I love Yakushima! ^o^

天気にも恵まれ、最高のコンディションで臨んだ縄文杉。運動不足の４人組でしたが、楽し過ぎて予定時間オーバーしたトロッコ道。険しい登りもガイドさんがペースを作ってくれたおかげで、みんな笑顔で縄文杉に会う事が出来ました。

Since there were 8 participants, we toured in a jumbo taxi and were able to spend the day in a friendly atmosphere. The guide was very kind and took us to places that are not included in the usual tourist routes. Moreover, he had a wealth of knowledge about Yakushima, and we learned many things (such as the villa of Horiemon and the Aum Shinrikyo hideout...). He also provided detailed information about the Yakusugi trees. Thank you very much.

参加者が8人だったのでｼﾞｬﾝﾎﾞﾀｸｼｰでの観光となり､ﾌﾚﾝﾄﾞﾘｰな雰囲気で一日を過ごす事が出来ました｡

I traveled alone to Yakushima. I stayed near Miyanoura Port, and thanks to the shuttle bus, I was able to get to the Arakawa Trailhead. From there, the guide took regular breaks, so everything went smoothly. Even though I was alone, the guide kept me company, and other participants also chatted with me, so I had no issues!

1人旅で屋久島にいきました。宮之浦港付近に宿をとっていましたが、送迎バスのおかげで荒川登山口へ。そこからは、ガイドさんがこまめに休憩をとりながら進んでくれたので何事もなくつけました。1人でしたが、ガイドさんが話相手になってくださったり、ほかの参加者の方が声をかけてくれたりするので問題なかったです！

I had a great time climbing. It was my first mountain hike, and it must have been really tough, but the guide made it enjoyable. I am truly grateful.

I left my family behind and went on a solo trip to Yakushima from Aichi Prefecture. I thought about going with my spouse someday, so I signed up for a guided tour for a day trip trekking to Jomon Sugi as a preliminary visit.

I felt good from early morning, and I was prepared to deal with the cold as long as I kept moving. I left the Anbo bus stop and headed to the trailhead just after 4:30 AM.

After that, the seven members participating in the same guide M's tour gathered, and we set off. However, shortly after, two people had to withdraw at the bridge of the trolley train where there were no handrails for various reasons.

As a result, four women and I, a total of five people, followed guide M as we made our way along the trolley path. The explanations at key points were well-timed with short breaks, and surprisingly, we reached Jomon Sugi without much trouble.

The weather was absolutely perfect, and the observation deck was not crowded, allowing us to view the 7,000-year-old tree from various angles. I felt a sense of presence and dignity in the magnificent tree, witnessing the power of nature firsthand.

The distant mountains on the way there and back were also clearly visible, making it a very good tour.

However, by the time we arrived at the accommodation above Mos Burger, I had injured the muscles behind my knees to the point where I could hardly climb the stairs. Thanks to M's advice on recovery methods, I was able to return home without much impact the next day.

家族を置いて愛知県から単独旅行で屋久島に旅しに行きました。いつかは夫婦でと思い、下見兼ねて今回ガイド付きツアーで縄文杉日帰りトレッキングに申し込みました。

早朝から体調も良く、寒さは動けばなんとかなると覚悟して早朝4:30過ぎに安房バス停から登山口まで移動。

その後同じガイドMさんのツアーに参加するメンバー7名が集い、いざ出発するがしばらくして手すりないトロッコ列車の橋の所で2名が訳あって棄権。

結果、女性4名と私1名の計5名がガイドのMさんを追うようにトロッコ道をグイグイと進みました。要所要所の説明を、小休憩兼ねて程よいタイミングで入れていただき長いようで意外とあっけなく、無事に縄文杉まで到達しました。

とにかく天気は最高で、展望台も混雑なく色々な角度から7000年の歴史の産物を見学しました。壮大な樹木には何か宿ってる気迫というか威厳を感じ、自然の力を目の当たりにしました。

行き帰りの遠方の山々もハッキリと拝めとても良いツアーでした。

ただ、モスバーガー上の宿に着いた時には階段上がれないほど膝裏の筋を痛めてました。
Mさんに聞いた疲労回復法で翌日の帰路には影響もほぼなく無事に帰宅出来ました。

Surprising!! I can't believe there's snow piled up in Yakushima... I heard it occasionally snows. It was actually beautiful, contrasting with the green moss and creating a magical atmosphere. The guide was kind and it was a lot of fun! I highly recommend this tour (^_-)-☆

I was worried because I didn't have confidence in my physical strength, but thanks to the guide, I was able to enjoy the experience and reach my destination safely. I was able to see the Wilson stump and Yakusugi beautifully, and I made some wonderful memories. Thank you very much!

I finally got to take my long-awaited trip to Yakushima and participated in a bus tour to circle the island. Unfortunately, the western forest road was blocked, so the bus couldn't pass, which was disappointing. The driver and guide were both excellent. Thanks to them, I had a wonderful day.

念願だった屋久島旅行　島一周がしたくてバスツアーに参加させていただきました。あいにく西部林道が崩れてバスが通れなくてざんねんでした。運転手さん件ガイドさん大変よかったです。おかげで楽しく一日すごせました。

I participated only in the morning to match my flight schedule, but I had a great time sightseeing. I would like to spend a full day exploring Yakushima when I visit again.

フライト時刻に合わせて午前中だけの参加でしたが、とても楽しく観光できました。また屋久島を訪れるときは１日たっぷりと観光してみたいです。

I wanted to feel the grandeur and vitality of nature that has continued since ancient times, so I joined this tour. We were picked up by bus at the early hour of 5 AM and taken to the trailhead, where the tour began. We climbed a long, long trolley path for about three hours, and then ascended a steep slope. The tour was challenging yet very enjoyable as I experienced the magnificence of the great cedar trees and the difference in air within the ancient forest. It was also a good opportunity to realize the decline in my leg muscles after many years of working in an office. I feel motivated to train my body and try again; I highly recommend this tour.

古代から脈々と続く大自然の荘厳さと生命力のすごさを感じたいと思い、このツアーに参加しました。なんと５時という早朝からバスで登山口に送られ、そこからツアーが始まりました。長い長いトロッコ道を３時間くらい上り、そこから険しい坂道を登山しますが、大自然の大きな杉の荘厳さと古代樹林の空間の空気の違いを感じながらのツアー工程は厳しくも非常に楽しいものでした。そして、長年の会社生活の間に衰えてしまった足の筋肉の減退を自身で十分に感じた良い機会でもありました。　体を鍛えなおして、再度チャレンジしてみたいとも思う、お勧めのツアーです。

The day before, I went on a Jomon Sugi tour, so I wanted to experience the nature that inspired "Princess Mononoke," and I participated in this "Shiratani Unsuikyo Tour." The hiking trail wasn't too steep, and it was a nice tour that could be completed in half a day. Along the way, there were indeed large cedars, and after a while, I reached the moss-covered "Mononoke Forest." It was a space that calmed my mind and created a very peaceful atmosphere, allowing me to feel a different aura from the city as I descended.
It was a very good tour.

前日に縄文杉ツアーに行ったので、続いて「ジブリのもののけ姫」のモチーフになった自然を感じたいと思い、この「白谷雲水峡ツアー」に参加しました。登山道はそんなに険しくなく、半日で往復できる程よいツアーでした。　途中には、やはり大きな杉がそびえ、また、しばらく行くと苔むす「もののけの森」に行きつきました。　そこは、心が和み、とても気持ちが静かになるような雰囲気の空間で、都会とは違うオーラを十分に感じて下山できました。　
とても良いツアーでした。

On December 31, I went trekking to Yakusugi. I was worried about snow, but there was none; however, I had to endure heavy rain and hail along the way, and somehow managed to complete the entire trek. While marching for hours in the rain, I thought about how it must have been for soldiers in the past. Water seeped into my rainwear from halfway through, but I managed to keep moving and maintain my body temperature by changing my inner layers. A Ziploc bag is essential. The restrooms were available at intervals that were not problematic, contrary to what I had heard beforehand. However, after returning, my body was extremely cold, and I thought I might catch a cold, but after taking a hot bath, I was fine. On January 1, I trekked through the forest of Princess Mononoke. There was no rain, but the strong wind took away my body heat. Even without rain, my inner layers got wet from sweat, so I realized that adjusting my inner layers and having good outerwear is crucial during cold periods. On the way back, thanks to the kindness of our guide, we were taken to the western area where Yakuzaru and Yakushika can be found. It was a perfect two days.

12/31は、屋久杉までのトレッキング。心配してた雪はなかったのですが、途中からの激しい雨と雹が降り注ぐ中どうにかがんばって全工程を歩ききりました。何時間も雨の中を行軍する体験は、昔の兵隊さんはこうだったのかなあと思いながら歩きました。途中からはレインウエアの中に水が染み込みましたが、インナーを替えながらどうにか体を動かして体温を保つことができました。ジップロックは必須です。トイレも、事前情報より問題ない間隔でありました。ただ、帰ってきた後は半端なく体が冷えて風邪をひくかと思いましたが熱い風呂に入り大事には至りませんでした。1/1は、もののけ姫の森をトレッキング。雨はなかったのですが、風が強く体温を奪いました。雨でなくても汗などでインナーが濡れますので、こまめにインナーの増減やアウターの良いものが寒い時期には肝心だと思いました。帰りにガイドさんの好意で、屋久猿や屋久鹿のいる西部まで連れて行ってもらいました。パーフェクトな二日間でした。

I was feeling unwell, but I was helped by being picked up right in front of the guesthouse. I was able to circle Yakushima in one day and see monkeys and deer, visit waterfalls, the banyan tree, Inakahama Beach, and the Jomon Sugi. Considering the meals included at this price, the cost performance is so good that I was worried if it was worth it. The meals were like a lunch set from a restaurant that also had a souvenir shop. Guests participating in the tour ate together at two tables. It wasn't a very casual atmosphere for chatting with each other, so it felt a bit uneasy.

体調不良だったのですが、民宿前までピックアップに来てもらい、助かりました。1日で屋久島を1周できて猿や鹿も見れて、滝やガジュマル、いなか浜、紀元杉を周り、食事付きでこの価格ですから、元がとれるのか心配になるくらいコスパが良いです。食事はお土産やさんを併設したレストランのランチセットみたいなもの。ツアーに参加した客が2つのテーブルで一緒に食べる。お互い雑談するような雰囲気ではなかったので、少し落ち着かなかったかな。

I participated in a half-day tour in the afternoon. The driver was knowledgeable and provided explanations while we toured together, and I was able to get photos taken from the best angles. It exceeded my expectations.

午後の半日ツアーに参加しました。運転手さんは知識豊富で、一緒に回って説明、ベストな角度から写真も撮ってもらえました。
思っていた以上の内容でした。

Even if you're not very interested in mountain climbing, it's moving! The one-way trip takes about 4 to 5 hours, which is tough, but there are various types of cedar trees along the route, so you won't get bored. Once I saw the Jomon cedar at the goal, I forgot my fatigue. The return trip is downhill, so it's surprisingly easy to get back.

登山にはあまり興味がなくても感動します！
片道４～５時間は大変ですが、ルート上には色んな杉がみられるので飽きません。
ゴールの縄文杉を見たら疲れを忘れました。
帰りは下りなので、以外と楽に戻れます。

Hello, I'm a participant from HK. This time, I joined a local tour in Japan for the first time with my friend. It was the best tour. With the guidance of a kind tour guide, we were able to safely reach the mossy forest. The stories along the way were enjoyable (I couldn't understand everything in the explanations, though...), and it was a very good experience. The weather in December was nice, and since it was about a three-hour round trip trek, it was easier than I expected, and I'm glad I went! Thank you!

ハーロー〜HKからの参加者です。今回、友達と初めて日本のローカルツアーに参加させていただきました。最高のツワーでした。優しいガイドさんの案内で無事に苔むす森まで行くことが出来ました。途中でのお話など楽しく（説明の内容はすべてが理解できませんが...）、とても良い経験でした。12月の天候も良くて、往復３時間くらいのトレッキングなので、思うより簡単で、行って良かったです❗ありがとうございます❗

This was my first winter trekking experience, and I was a bit worried, but thanks to the favorable weather and the support of our friendly guide, I was able to enjoy it thoroughly.

Even though it was winter, I found myself getting warm while walking. I recommend wearing layers that are easy to take on and off. Also, since the wind can be strong, having a neck warmer and a secure hat is reassuring.

The trees covered in moss and the giant cedar trees were incredibly captivating and have become unforgettable memories. The spring water was also delicious.

冬のトレッキングは初めてなので少し心配していたのですが、お天気に恵まれ、また優しいガイドさんのサポートのおかげで楽しく終えることができました。

冬とはいえ、歩いていると暑くなってきます。参加する際は脱ぎ着しやすい服装で行くことをお勧めします。
また、風が強いのでネックウォーマーや飛びにくい帽子があると安心です。

苔に覆われた木々や巨大な杉の木はとても魅力的で忘れられない思い出になりました。湧き水も美味しかったです。

We participated as a couple in January. There were only two participants. It was a rainy day, and we climbed with remnants of snow. It was very hard, but with encouragement from our guide, Tecchan, we somehow made it to Wilson's stump. My wife was already exhausted, but it seemed she gained energy from Wilson's stump, and after that, she was able to climb to Jomon Sugi safely. The fog was thick, and we could only see the silhouette of Jomon Sugi, but it was still wonderful. On the way back, our guide, Tecchan, took some fun photos for us. I want to go again.

1月に夫婦で参加しました。参加者は2名だけでした。雨模様で、残雪が残る中の登山でした。とってもハードでしたが、ガイドのてっちゃんの励ましもあって、なんとかウィルソン株までたどり着きました。妻は、すでにヘロヘロでしたが、ウィルソン株からパワーをもらえたようで、その後は元気が出て、無事、縄文杉まで登ることができました。霧がひどくて、縄文杉はシルエットだけでしたが、それでも素晴らしかったです。帰り道は、ガイドのてっちゃんが楽しい写真を撮ってくれました。また行きたいです。

This was my first time at Shiratani Unsuikyo. I was unsure about the path and considered hiring a guide, but I also worried that joining a guided tour would mean having to match the pace of others and that I might not be able to take photos freely. I struggled with these thoughts quite a bit. However, in the end, hiring a guide turned out to be a great success.

Our guide, Watanabe, was knowledgeable not only about the mountains but also about plants, and he explained everything in a fun way, mixing in jokes. We were laughing the whole time, to the point where other groups commented, "You all look like you're having so much fun!"

He also taught us photo spots and tips for enjoying the experience, so we were able to capture some Instagram-worthy shots. Additionally, having the guide meant we could get group photos taken, which was a nice touch.

The breaks were well-timed and informative, allowing even a beginner like me to reach Taiko Rock.

I thought I wouldn’t get lost, but there was still snow from a few days prior, making it difficult to walk, and the path was hard to follow. On the day of our visit, there was a woman who had come alone and got lost, and the guide helped her. I really think it's better for those unfamiliar with the mountains to hire a guide.

For lunch, we were treated to warm miso soup and coffee. I was truly grateful to learn that they carried all the hot water and mats for everyone.

If we had climbed on our own, we would have missed many spots, and we might have been exhausted on the snowy path that appeared midway.

It felt more like having a companion to walk with rather than just a guide. They also shared recommendations for sightseeing spots for the next day, and I’m really glad I decided to hire them.

今回、初めての白谷雲水峡。道もわからないし、ガイド頼もうかな？という気持ちと、ガイドツアーに参加しちゃうと、他の人にペースを合わせないといけないかな？とか、自由に写真撮れなくなるかな？という不安とで、随分悩みました。
でも結果、頼んで大成功です。

今回担当してくれた渡辺さんは、山の事は勿論、植物も詳しくて、冗談を交えながら楽しく説明してくれました。
私達ずっと笑っていたので、他のグループに
「楽しそうですね〜」
と、言われるほど、、、笑

写真スポットや、その場に合った楽しみ方のコツやポーズも教えてくれるので、今流行りのインスタ映えも撮れちゃいますよ。笑。
また、ガイドさんにお願いできるので、全員揃った写真を撮ってもらえるのも魅力。

休憩は、説明を兼ねて上手に取ってくれるので、初心者の私でも、太鼓岩まで登る事ができました。

また、道に迷うことは無いと思っていましたが、今回数日前に降った雪が残っていて歩きにくかったし、道がわかりにくい状態だったようで、当日も一人で来ていた女性が道に迷っていて、ガイドさんが助けていました。
やはり山に不慣れな方は、頼んだ方が良いと思います。

お昼には、温かい味噌汁とコーヒーをご馳走になりました。
全員分のお湯やシートを担いで、登っていたんだと知り、本当に感謝の気持ちです。

自分達だけで登っていたら、見過ごしたスポットも沢山あっただろうし、途中から出てきた雪道で、グッタリしていたかも？

道案内というよりは、一緒に歩く仲間という感じかもしれません。
次の日の観光スポットも教えてもらって、
頼んで本当に良かったです。

The guide provided information about island life, the land, and the mountains throughout our tour of the island, and they also helped us with taking photos, making for a fulfilling day. I regret that we couldn't complete a full circle around the island due to construction and missed visiting Inakahama.

島内を回っている間ずっと島の生活についてや土地や山のことなどガイドがあり、写真撮影も協力していただき、充実した1日を過ごせました。
工事の関係で島内一周が出来ずいなか浜に行けなかったのが心残りでした。

I heard that visiting both Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo in one day is quite a challenging course, but everyone enjoyed it until the end. (All participants were 29-year-old women and beginners in hiking.) Thanks to our guide managing the pace and break timings, it was a great experience.

Also, we had warm tonjiru (pork miso soup) for lunch. It was a cold day, so it really warmed us up. Thank you very much.

If someone I know goes to Yakushima, I will definitely recommend it.

縄文杉と白谷雲水峡どちらも１日で回るのはかなりハードなコースだと聞いていましたが、最後まで全員楽しめました。(全員29歳女性、登山初心者レベル)ペース配分、休憩タイミング等、ガイドさんが管理して下さったおかげです。
また、昼食時に温かい豚汁を頂きました。寒い日でしたので身体に染みました。ありがとうございました。
知人が屋久島へ行くことがあれば、必ずオススメします。

I requested the afternoon course, and I received a confirmation call the day before, which made me feel at ease for the day of the event! The tour included Yakusugi Land and the Kigen Sugi, and it was a great deal with an excellent guide and the opportunity to take photos from the best positions! Since they also provide transportation back to the accommodation, it serves as a convenient alternative for those who haven't rented a car, making it a win-win situation!

午後からのコースをお願いしましたが前日には確認のお電話があり、安心して当日を迎えることができました！ヤクスギランドと紀元杉の見学でしたが絶妙なガイドさんの案内プラスベストポジションでの写真撮影もあってとてもお得なコースでした！帰りは宿までは送ってもらえることからレンタカーを借りていない方にはバスやタクシー代わりの交通手段にもなって一石二鳥だと思います〜

Initially, we requested a course to visit Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo in one day, but we received a prior notice and decided to split it into two days considering the weather. In the end, I think this was a good decision. Given our physical stamina and the fact that we had requested a private guide, we were able to walk at our own pace and learned a lot about Yakushima, the history of Yakusugi, and nature in a broader sense. We were able to meet Jomon Sugi safely and return! It was certainly not easy, but after resting for a day, we were able to recover our stamina to walk early the next day at Shiratani Unsuikyo. We progressed comfortably to Taiko Rock, and since there were no other visitors at that time, we could take our time and enjoy the experience. Although we had a different guide from the previous day, we had a great time hearing various stories from a different perspective. I truly felt that learning from the locals is the best! I would love to sign up again when I visit next time.

当初は縄文杉と白谷雲水峡を１日で回るコースをお願いしていましたが、事前に連絡をいただき天候を考えて２日に分けることに。これが結果的に良かったと思います。体力面を考え、プライベートガイドをお願いしていたこともあって、私たちのペースで歩け、屋久島、屋久杉の歴史だけでなく大きな意味での自然についていろいろ教えてもらいながら無事、縄文杉に対面、帰ることが出来ました！決して楽ではありませんでしたが１日寝ることで体力もある程度回復でき翌日の白谷雲水峡も早朝から歩けました。太鼓岩まで無理なく進み、ちょうど他の方がいなかったこともあってゆっくり過ごすことができました。前日とは別のガイドの方でしたが、違った角度からいろいろお話いただき楽しい時間を過ごせました〜地元の方に教えてもらうのが一番だなぁと実感！再訪の際はまた申込したいなと思いました。

It was raining, so I started my hike from Shiratani Unsuikyo and got to see the moss-covered forest around dawn! It had a very mystical atmosphere and was amazing! Unfortunately, there was fog from Taiko Rock, but I descended to the tramway and headed to Jomon Sugi. The journey was long and tough, but if you're going to Yakushima, I think it's great that you can visit both in one day.

雨だったので白谷雲水峡から登り始めて、夜が明ける頃の苔むす森を見させてもらいました！とても神秘的な空気で最高でした！太鼓岩からはあいにくの霧でしたが、そこからトロッコ道へ下り、縄文杉へ。道のりは長く大変でしたが、せっかく屋久島に行くなら、どちらも1日で回れるのはかなりいいと思います。
