  • Imjingak Park
    Rusted train at Imjingak Imjingak Park is home to many monuments related to the Korean War originally built with the unification of the people of North and South Korea in mind. The site includes the Bell of Peace, a fence of prayer ribbons, a rusted train and the Bridge of No Return where prisoners of war were exchanged.
  • The Unification Bridge
    A symbolic bridge built in 1998, the bridge is also a symbol of the hope for unification. Please have your passport ready for the ID check.
  • DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall
    P_20190823_102315_vHDR_Auto Watch a video about the history of the Korean War and the infiltration tunnels at the DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall. Find artifacts from the war including letters, weapons and various objects collected from the DMZ. See a model of the JSA.
  • The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel
    info_photo_467_1 Explore the most infamous of the infiltration tunnels that was discovered in October 1978. The tunnel was believed to have been dug by North Korean forces for invasion. At only 44 kilometers from Seoul, it is the closest tunnel to the capital city.
  • Dora Observatory
    New Dora Observatory Peer from the binoculars to see the scenery of North Korea from this observation post. See the so-called Propaganda Village with one of the world's tallest flagpole, the city of Kaesong and the Kaesong Industrial Region.
  • Dorasan Station
    DSC_0192 Visit the northernmost train station in South Korea, which serves as a terminus for a commuter train line. It lies about 700 meters from the DMZ. Make sure to find the sign in the station which reads “Not the last station from the South, But the first station toward the North."

  • Joint Security Area
    1 The heavily guarded premises of Panmunjeom (JSA) are located in the middle of the demilitarized zone (DMZ), strictly reserved for diplomatic meetings and negotiations such as the historic inter-Korean summit of South Korean President Moon Jae In and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un last April 2018.
  • Freedom House
    3 The Freedom House was built in July of 1998 and hosted the summit between the United States and the two Koreas on June 30, 2019. From here you can see the North Korean equivalent, the Phanmun Pavilion or Panmungak where you might spot North Korean soldiers and tourists from the other side.
  • Military Armistice Commission Conference Room
    JSA The central blue building in the JSA is the MAC Conference Room, where talks between the North and the South take place. Inside, you can see the demarcation line (MDL) and step over to the North and even take a photograph with JSA soldiers.
  • Blue Bridge with the Moon Jae In and Kim Jong Un Signature Stone
    20190828_110058 Follow the footsteps of President Moon Jae In and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un onto the Blue Bridge where they shared a private conversation back in April 2018.
    Continue to the signature stone, where they planted a pine tree.
  • Memorial of General Jang
    20190828_111004 Finish your visit with the Memorial of General Jang, killed in action to save a Soviet defector.
  • Amethyst Center
    tour_photo_241_2 Before returning to Seoul, make a brief stop at the amethyst center where you can learn about these Korean-made products. Shopping is optional.

    • Children 11 years old and above can participate in this activity.
    • The JSA area is under strict military jurisdiction and is subject to sudden closures. Scheduled tours may be changed or cancelled without prior notice at any moment. Guests will be offered alternatives or refund for affected tours.
    • Guests with serious fear of enclosed spaces (claustrophobia), heart and cardiovascular issues, asthma or other respiratory problems are not permitted to enter the Third Tunnel. Walking through the Third Tunnel is not required. Guests may opt out and choose to stay in the bus, exhibition room or souvenir store.
    • Korean passport holders or citizens residing in Korea will not be able to join this tour due to local laws. Citizens who live outside Korea will need to send a "Certification of Residence Overseas" to participate in this tour.

    • The JSA has a strict dress code. Please dress appropriately in smart casual attire. Avoid revealing clothes such as sleeveless tops, short pants and skirts, ripped jeans, tight garments like leggings and open-toed shoes. Please refrain from wearing military-style outfits, biker gear, sports wear with logos and over-sized clothes.

    • Every visitor has to use the authorized bus and follow time and photo regulations. The operator cannot be held responsible for any personal incidents or losses during the tour.

    • When in the MAC conference rooms, please refrain from touching any equipment, microphone and flags that belong to the North Korean side.
    • Please do not approach or engage with any personnel of North Korea. Do not speak to them or make any gestures.
    • The following items are prohibited within the JSA premises: cameras with lens larger than 90mm, wheelchairs, walking sticks, umbrellas, luggage and big bags.
