Our guide, Cecilia, was excellent as well as just lovely. We learned so much about Venice and the people of Venice as we explored The local pubs and sampled delicious wines and Cicchetis. No one should miss this tour. We all loved it.

this was a truly worthwile experience, the guide, julia, was erdudite, extremely knowledgable, and showed us a remarkable viasta of traditional venitian life that i had missed on four previous visits. cant recommend enough .

We have visited Venice many times but this was a highlight for us. Our guide, Cecelia, had an infectious enthusiasm for the city and was determined to show us the real Venice not the 2 bits visitors normally see (i.e. Rialto and St Marks!). The food and drink at the baccari was excellent and Cecelia was really knowledgable and very friendly. Definitely a must do when you visit Venice!

The tour guide Julia was enthusiastic and knowledgable. The tour was well worth the money as you get 5 full glasses of wine and delicious cicchetti at each place. You see bars and locations frequented by locals and get to wander through parts of Venice not overrun with tourists.

Our guide, Julia, was enormously interesting and very helpful in providing me with an alternative to anything containing seafood (I am allergic). The size of the group was perfect and we would both highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The tasting of the local food & drink was wonderful; however we were expecting a better gondola ride and all we got was a 2 minute crossing. The advertisement was deceiving.

We chose this tour as it was a small group tour and combined food and wine as well!
Our local guide was a Venetian, born and bred, and was very knowledgable about the history of the area we visited. The tour was to include a short traghetti ride to cross the Grand Canal but our guide felt the bars on this side of the canal had more to offer - we were a little bit disappointed not to have experienced the crossing of the Grand Canal. Cicchetti choices were limited and in one bar the options were all fish or seafood. Overall, an interesting evening.
