Once you arrive at Xel-Há and start your day with a guided tour of the park to get oriented. After that, you're free to explore at your own pace. Use bikes or the provided shuttle service to move around the sprawling natural park, and enjoy as many activities as you would like until departure.
After entering the park, walk past the dolphin area and follow the sign marked Casilleros/Lockers to reach the locker room. At the counter, you'll receive a key and locker number. Lift the square lever to open your locker. Changing rooms are limited, but restrooms can also be used to change.
Snorkeling is one of the most popular activities at Xel-Há, and it's included with your admission. Pick up your gear and dive into the calm inlet, where fresh and saltwater meet. Discover over 90 species of tropical fish and marine life in this natural aquarium connected to the Caribbean Sea.
Test your courage at the Cliff of Courage, one of Xel-Há’s signature adrenaline attractions. Climb a five-meter-high rocky ledge using footholds and rope grips, then take the plunge into the clear turquoise waters below. It’s safe, supervised, and perfect for thrill seekers looking for a rush.
Xel-Há’s zip-lines offer a splash of excitement for all ages. Glide through the air on multiple short zip-lines that end with a fun drop into the water. These mini adventures are scattered along the river route and are a great way to mix thrills with a cool Caribbean landing.
Climb the 131-foot Scenic Lighthouse for breathtaking 360° views of the Caribbean Sea and lush jungle. Once at the top, get your adrenaline pumping on one of the Riviera Maya’s tallest waterslides as you spiral down a high-speed chute and make a splash into the refreshing pool below.

Fuel your adventure with unlimited access to buffet meals, snacks, and drinks at Xel-Há. Choose from several restaurants and enjoy a wide range of dishes for all tastes. Soft drinks, beer, and cocktails are included, and hammocks nearby offer the perfect place to relax after eating.
Upgrade your visit with an unforgettable dolphin interaction, available for an additional fee. Get up close with these intelligent marine animals as you swim, pose for photos, and experience behaviors like kisses or foot pushes. Reservations are required and can be made inside the park.
Take your underwater adventure further with SNUBA, a guided experience that combines snorkeling and scuba diving. Breathe easily through a surface-supplied air hose as you explore deeper waters and encounter colorful marine life. This premium activity requires an extra fee and on-site booking.

- Children under 12 years old must present a valid photo ID to verify their age.
- Xel-Há Park is accessible for guests using wheelchairs. If needed, please note this during booking. Wheelchairs can be rented for USD $16 with a valid photo ID and a refundable USD $20 deposit. Prices are subject to change.

- At pick-up, please present your voucher and a valid photo ID, such as a passport, to board the bus and receive your entry wristband for the park.
- If your accommodation is not a hotel, please provide the full and accurate address, including street name, building number, room number, postal code, and city.
- To protect the environment, the use of regular sunscreen and tanning oils is not allowed. Please use biodegradable, reef-safe sunscreen, which is available for purchase on-site. You may also exchange your sunscreen for a free biodegradable sample at the park’s information booth upon entry.
- Bringing a video camera requires an additional fee of 45 pesos, payable at the entrance to the archaeological site.

- If there are any changes to your pick-up time, the tour operator will notify you after 5:00 p.m. the day before your tour. Pick-up may be up to 30 minutes later than scheduled or may arrive early due to traffic. Please arrive at your meeting point at least 10 minutes early. The vehicle will depart without waiting if you are not present.
- To receive your snorkel set, simply scan the wristband provided at park entry. Please note that if any items are lost, replacement fees will apply: $15 for the mask, $10 for fins, and $5 for the locker key. Prices are subject to change.
- Fees for premium attractions inside the park and tram service to archaeological sites are not included in the tour price.
- Your guide will be wearing a T-shirt with the Xcaret logo on the back and will call out the tour name loudly at pick-up. Since multiple buses may arrive at the same time, please clearly tell the staff which park you are visiting.
- For security reasons, your pick-up and drop-off location must be the same. Please be sure to arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes early.
- For your comfort and convenience, pick-up will be arranged at your hotel or the nearest designated point along the transportation route.
- Pick-up at hotels where you are not staying cannot be guaranteed, as some properties do not allow access to non-guests due to their policies.
