We had a tour to the Vatican day before with City Discovery and it was superb and was looking forward to Colosseum .It was very busy but it just felt a bit rushed unlike the Vatican trip
and really understand what the lady was saying due to her accent .We hardly spent any time in the Colosseum before moving to palatine hill after tour we asked if we could go back to Colosseum with our tickets and it was not possible ?? We are planning another trip and will try again Amazing place just did not see enough of it !!

The afternoon we took this tour the city had a torrential rainstorm and thunderstorm for about 45 minutes - our guide, Sarah, made the best of a bad situation. There was an exhibit at the colosseum which she guided us through in lieu of being able to tour the colloseum. She was a student of archeology and in the exhibit her team assisted in the recovery of some of the artifacts on display. She was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Although we were not able to see everything on our tour because of the weather - she really did make the best of a bad situation. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase sightseeing on their own and skip the line is a worthwhile investment!!!

The tour guide we received was passionate about what she was guiding. This passion spread out and touched every one of us in the tour. We listened with interest and enthusiasm and learned many interesting facts that we would have never known otherwise. It's a long tour but it is definitely worth the time invested. The other tour guides seemed friendly and approachable and they definitely took into consideration how their customers were feeling and addressed any concerns or queries immediately. A definite learning experience that was absolutely worth the time and the money.

遺跡の偉大さに感動を覚えました。

想像以上のコロッセオの大きさに驚きました。 地震で壊れた個所の修復でブルーシートがかけられるかもとの話がありましたが、まだやっていないようでした。 内部もゆっくり見ることが出来ました。
フォロ・ロマーノは約2,000年前の歴史を彷彿とさせます。 ここにシーザーがいたのかと思うと感動を覚えます。
ガイドの方の詳しい説明で理解しながら楽しむことが出来ました。

ガイドさんは日本人のとてもサバサバした年配の方でした。合う合わないは各々次第と言った感じでしょうか。フットワークが重く時間がない人にはとても効率よくポイントに連れて行ってくれますのでお勧めツアーです。往路のみホテルお迎えがある、コロッセオの入場付というのもポイントでしょうか。

とっても暑かったのでバスでの移動は楽でした。コロッセオ内の水飲み場に列が出来るほど…試しに飲んでみましたが大丈夫でした。古代ローマを肌で感じる事が出来ると思います。一度は行かれる事お薦めです。

This supposed half day tour actually lasted less than 2 hours.We were to start at 0930 the guide arrived a little late then we sat in the Hotel Lobby and discussed Optional tours. We started off a little after 1000 and we were unable to see many off the sights due to a varity of reasons and finished back in the hotel lobby just after 1100 am when we sat in the lobby again while the lady made a pile of phone calls to arrange the option tours we selected.. I managed to get away from her after 1200 noon. She did manage these optional tours and they went well. But the half day actual tour lasted as you can see no longer than 1 hour maybe one & a half hours max. This was not very satisfactory.

少人数で日本語ガイド付き

英語のツアーとの混成で、日本語のツアーには、日本人のガイドがつきます。
私達の時は、参加者は日本人3名でした。
日本人の人にとっては、少人数でこじんまりと過ごせて、なかなかと良いツアーだと思います。
フォロロマーノの中に入ったりはしませんが、
特に思い入れが無ければ、外から見るだけで十分かな。
解説付きだし、行列にも並ばなくていいので、お勧めです。

憧れのコロッセオ

映画「グラディエイター」を見てから一度は行ってみたいと憧れていた古代ローマの闘技場は迫力満点でした。
大きさもさることながら、大昔の機械もない時代に人間の手だけで造られたことや、何のために造られたのかを添乗員の樋口さんに教えて頂きました。歴史を知ることでより深みが増し、感動も倍増します。逆に事前にもっと歴史を勉強してから行けば良かったと思うくらいです。
初めてイタリアに行かれる方にオススメです。

2012年年末に利用。短い旅行期間を有効利用するには待ち時間はなるべく短くしたい。人が多い時期には非常に有効です。
同行者は10名くらい。一通りの主要な観光ができるので、お勧めです。午前中に利用し、午後はフリーにしました。
やはり日本語の解説があるので面白かったです。

コロッセオ入場 | ローマの観光・オプショナルツアー専門 VELTRA(ベルトラ)
ローマ時代の建築物である円形闘技場「コロッセオ」。コロッセオとは、英語のコロシアムの語源と言われており、建設当時から6世紀頃まで、剣闘士やライオンなどの猛獣と戦わせる恐ろしい見せ物が行われていました。映画「グラディエーター」の撮影場所としても有名なこの世界遺産は、地下・アリーナ・4階建て観客席からなる巨大な構造が見ものです。 行き方は地下鉄コロッセオ駅から徒歩1分と便利ですが、個人ではチケット購入に長蛇の列ができていますが、ツアーを予約すれば並ぶ時間なしで入場可能。入場料やバス料金も含まれていてとっても便利です。パラティーノの丘やフォロロマーノ、ワインセラー見学と一緒になったツアーやおいしいイタリアンランチ付きのツアーもあります。大掛かりな改修工事は2016年に終了していますので、ご安心を。
