やはり日本語ガイド！

手慣れたイタリア人ガイドと日本人ガイドのペアで長蛇の列を尻目にコロッセオに入場できます。待ち合わせ場所のコンスタンティヌス凱旋門が、はじめての人には少し分かりづらいかもですが、コロッセオにそびえ立っている凱旋門はひとつしかありませんので、きっとすぐにわかります。メトロのＢ線「コロッセオ駅」を出てすぐに凱旋門が立っています。それから、正直なところ、このツアーは歩きます。ですが、コロッセオもフォロロマーノも、疲れを吹き飛ばす壮大さです。解散はカピトリーノの丘なので、そこからどうするかをあらかじめ考えて参加した方がいいかと思います。

wonderful tour and true skip the line access to some of the most important monuments in Rome. After an incredible vacation, my kids (teens) still listed being inside of the Colosseum as the highlight of their trip to Italy. The Roman Forum is simply something you cannot do without a knowledgable guide and ours was plenty knowledgable, fun and seemed to genuinely love doing what she does for a living and that was evident in her presentations, knowledge and accessibility to the people in the group.

If you have limited time, the skip the line is the way to go. Lots of walking, however, tour guide did it at a very reasonable pace. Make sure you have headgear & water if a hot day. Very informative.

When we arrived at the meeting point I couldn't believe all the people there. However, It was done in a well organized manner. The line moved quickly and we were put with our guide, Angela. What a charming, knowledgeable woman, with a great sense of humor to boot! We passed through easily and to the right of us, the line of people seemed to go on forever. the tour is worth it just to avoid the lines, but the information given made the tour exceptional!

ガイドさんに恵まれ、日本語で情熱的な解説を聞きながら、有意義に時間を過ごしました。ただ遺跡の外観を見て回るだけでは決して伝わることの無い感動を覚えました。特にコロッセオは内部に入ることをおすすめします。

４４年ぶりのローマ

イタリア旅行は４回目ですが、今回は３月に友人８名と１３日間の芸術と食事を楽しむゆったり個人旅行。ローマは４４年前に一度来てますが妻が初めてなので友人と別行動で、時間の関係もあり午後半日でしたが、ローマの主要観光を効率よく日本語ガイドで回りたく申し込みしました。バスでの多国籍語ツア―です、日本語ガイドは私達夫婦のみ(この時期は参加者が少ない？）、イタリア人女性を妻に持つ男性のガイドしたが、歴史や美術作品の丁寧な説明を受け短い時間でしたがコロッセオやフォロ・ローマ等を堪能しました（気に入ったのでチップをはずむ）。もう少し時間が長ければもっと他も廻れたが残念。
”注意：バス乗り場でさっそくイタリア名物のスリに。。女性２名子供２名で小銭を要求し段ボ―ル紙片手にしつこく寄ってきました。大声でNoを３度言いましたがまだしつこかったのでバス運転手の方に急ぐと離散しました。皆さんくれぐれも用心・・”
ローマ観光のもう一つの目的はバチカン三昧、サンピエトロ寺院の傍のホテルに宿泊し寺院の夜景を見ながらワインを、バチカン庭園のガイドツワ―(英語ガイドのみ、日本で予約）３０分以上入場するのに時間がが係るのをしり目に別入口よりスット入場。２時間ほどの庭園散歩、素晴らしい！法王の宿舎やバチカン放送局、庭園、、是非おすすめ。他にもポンペイのツワ―にナポリより参加(２名だけ）しましたが、ローマからのバスが２０分以上遅れイライラ、、イタリア時間に慣れない日本人か！！

I would just say that the tour was very good and so was the representive . We thought we were well informed on roman history and what took place .Other people we joined said this was there 3 time on the tour . We recommend this tour .( No queuing)

解説で歴史がわかる

タクシーに違う場所に降ろされ少し混乱するも無事集合場所へ。日曜日には注意を。スマホの地図検索で助かる。あいにくの雨のだったが、コロシアムはゆっくり見えた。その後、フォノロマーノに以下時から晴れ出す。こここそ解説で勉強出来た。

ローマ市内をハイライトであっという間にスムーズに案内してくださるので
とても便利で、時間短縮でローマを満喫できます。
特に、コロッセオは並ばないですぐに入れるので、とてもラッキーです。
帰りも、ガイドさんが近くのおいしいレストランなどを紹介しれたりして、親切でした。

行列を回避して

12月30日に行きました。コロッセオ入り口前は混雑していましたが我々は行列に並ぶことなくすんなり入場できました。コロッセオの見学時間は少し短く感じましたが、ガイドさんにしっかり説明していただいたので良かったです。フォロロマーノは非常に広く、ガイドさんの説明がないと何が何だかよくわからないのでツアーに申し込んで良かったです。添付写真のフレスコ画はアウグストゥスの家にあったと記憶しているのですが、素晴らしかったです。もう一枚は別の日の朝一番にカンピドーリオの丘・市庁舎裏からみた誰もいないフォロロマーノです。ここはガイドさんに教えてもらった場所です。

じっくり観光派におすすめ

子供には（10歳7歳）つまらないかなと思いましたが、コロッセオの見学やフォロロマーノの説明もわかりやすく楽しんで見学できました。トイレがなかなか無いため、途中で2回離団してトイレまで行き、また合流しました。かなり長い間歩くため、靴は歩きやすいものをお勧めです。解散場所が少し戸惑いました。

好き嫌いが分かれるガイドさん

50歳前後の女性ガイドさんでした。
知識量は豊富で、説明はよかったのですが、個性が強かったり、ヘビースモーカーだったりで、好き嫌いが分かれるかもしれません。
しかし、ガイドさんを利用せずにコロッセオ・フォロロマーノを見ても
大事なポイントを見逃すどころか、理解もできずに終わってしまうと思うので
そういう意味ではツアーを利用する価値があると思います。

We chose to do the 3pm tour and our guide, Elisa, began at the Forum. She had us enthralled with her desc<x>ription of the history of Rome and how the Romans lived. Her enthusiasm was infectious and her knowledge seemed to be endless. We finished at the Colosseum more than satisfied with the experience.

Davide, our guide, was friendly, informative, very knowledgeable and fun! He gave us history and insight during our tour that we never would have gotten on our own and was open to any and all questions and always had the answers.
