The food plentiful and wonderful. We had a few pleasant surprises along the way. We were entertained by a school of sinner dolphins going and coming, as well as seeing a flying fish or two. A good time was had by all, given the chance I'd do it all again.

Absolutely incredible tour that was tailored to those on the boat...not a canned presentation. I highly recommend this tour. The captain and the whale expert (Denver) were exceptional. I never thought that I would learn this much about whales and be so close to them!

I'm afraid the whales were very shy during our particular trip. We did see two on 4/5 occasions but only briefly from a distance. In these circumstances I think it's best to look upon the trip as a pleasure cruise because we were treated to great views of the Western side of Big Island. The crew deserve a mention...always polite and courteous...they looked after everyone with complimentary soft drinks.

I told friend of mine that I was going to be in Kona with my family and he highly recommended that I take Captain cooks dinner cruise. He couldn't remember the actual name of the dinner cruise but with this info I googled it and found it. I was skeptical at first about going on the three hour cruise because we were a huge party of 12 women, children and one man (me), but let me tell you, it was the funnest event of our entire 10 days in Kona. For the most part people seem to be nice and easy-going on the Big Island, but the entire crew of the boat - from the "captain" to the bartender - where the coolest, nicest, and funniest people we met on our entire trip to the Big Island. They really bend over backwards to make you feel at home and they definitely keep you entertained with an interesting historical overview of the Hawaiian Islands given by a Hawaiian storyteller, as well as by a great musical performance given by a talented and recognized young music artist. I highly recommend this dinner cruise for anybody wishing to have a great time in Kona!

My girlfriend and I went on this cruise on Valentines Day and were very happy. We very much enjoyed the food and the cruise itself. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the boat is not ideal for a romantic cruise. Its just kinda a boat, nothing very nice about it. Overall we were satisfied and felt like we had a great valentines for the money we spent.

ピックアップが、ホテルに09時55分でした。港には10時半にはつきましたが、港に降ろされて何も説明なく、車はいなくなってしまい、bodyglobeの船を探したが、見つかりません。周りの人に聞いてみると、12時半チェックインとのこと。
ピックアップ時間と、チェックイン時間に差があり過ぎて困ります。
肝心のクジラは、きちんと見ることが出来ましたが、とても遠くに小さなしっぽだけ…(>_<)残念でしたが、イルカの群れが帰り際に見れたことと、三時間近く船に乗ることが出来ました。迫力は足りなかったけど、クジラとイルカの群れが見れたのはlucky！でした。果物も美味しかった！

他のオプションは日本人ばかりで日本語のガイドでしたが
始めての回りは外人さんばかりで バスに乗ってもガイドさんの言っている事も分からず 回りを見ながらの参加券貰いに言ったりでしたが
船に乗ってからは〜日本語の分かる方が来て説明して下さり
言葉が分からないながらも 皆さんの雰囲気に入りこんで
楽しみました! !

船の中での Barで作って頂くお酒も
バイキングのお料理もとても美味しかったです!
さすが〜レディーファーストの国

If you're visiting the Kona side of the Big Island, this dinner cruise is a MUST! It was so relaxing and not too short of a cruise (but also not too long). We had a great time! Definitely would do it again.

Nate and the rest of the crew did a very nice job with the cruise. They were cordial, knowledgeable, and very helpful (thanks to Nate for keeping my mai-tais full and even finding a non-alcoholic drink for my pregnant wife :-)). Although we didn't see any whales the cruise was still very fun and the cocktails were fantastic!

"Hawaii Activities" could have done a much better job at communicating with us and Ocean Sports about where to meet. We were told to meet in the lobby of the Marriott for a shuttle... The shuttle never came and we had to do all the leg work to find out that we could have simply went out to the Ocean Sports hut right out on the beach in front of the Marriott. Concentrate on the details instead of the money please.

Had a wonderful time. Boat was exceptional and specifically built for tour. Staff was extremely knowledgeable really great with the children as she used to be a school teacher. You couldn't have asked for a better guide for families with children!

九歳の子供と夫婦で参加して来ました。他にはカップル、1人旅のアメリカ人が10人ぐらい。ラッキーなことに船を走らせてすぐにイルカと遭遇！！小柄なハワイアンイルカが沢山群れになって泳いでおり、船の周りでジャンプ＆スピンを三回披露。その後シュノーケリングの用意をして海へ入りました。透明度のある海の底で泳ぐイルカの家族と一緒に泳ぎました。赤ちゃんイルカも二頭いました。その後、キャプテンクック記念碑のあるシュノーケリングスポットへ移動して、美しいサンゴ礁とカラフルなお魚達を堪能。最高の思い出が出来ました。怖がりの息子に小窓付きのボディボードを貸してくれて助かりました。注意点としては、最初に船の上で説明を二十分位聞きましたが、その間に主人と息子がすっかり船酔い。戻してしまいました。。。酔い止めは必須です。

7時半集合だったのですが、ボートの担当スタッフが決まらなかったり、急な参加者の変更があったりで、出船まで１時間以上待たされました。
朝イチのベストタイムを逃したせいか、イルカが見つからずに
２時間近くボートで移動。あきらめてシュノーケリングポイントへ移動して３０分くらいでイルカに遭遇できました。
大きな群れで、赤ちゃんイルカも見られて結果的には満足です。

We booked this cruise in particular because it was wheelchair accessible. We were traveling with a friend who is in a wheelchair and we wanted to be able to get her out on the ocean. The crew was fantastic! The ramp was easy and we sat in the front of the boat.
On this cruise to Ke'alakekua, not only was there a wonderful bartender, but also a fabulous array of appetizers and a yummy dinner. AND there was a historian, named Boyd, who was able to tell us the history of the areas we were cruising by. Kudos to Boyd! This was great activity! The historian who was on board with us did an excellent job of explaining everything that we were seeing along the coast. The food was really good and there was plenty of it. As an added bonus to our wonderful evening, we were first entertained by several schools of dolphins and then we sighted several whales. What a wonderful sight! The crew were very curtious and helpful and the live entertainment and the drinks were great. Definitely a highlight of my stay and something that I would do again!!
