まだコロナで渡航が厳しい2022年8月にハワイ島にいってプライベートチャーターを楽しみました。初めてのハワイだったので比較対象がないのですが、プライベートだったので、安心安全でとてもよかったと思います。
ちなみに、ガイドの縄田さんによると、コロナ後初の日本人だったそうです。

良かった点としては、
・プライベートだったので、
①スケジュールの融通が利く。
②泳ぎが得意でない子供たちにもしっかり目が届いて安心安全。
③コロナ対策もしっかりしていますが、それ以上に他の家族がいないので安心。
・湾に着いた時にイルカがジャンプしているのが見れたこと。
・子どもたちもきれいな魚が見れて満足していたこと。

出発地のホノウコウ・ハーバーからケアラケクア湾までは片道1時間、往復2時間ほどで海に入れたのは1時間ほどでしたが、子どもたちは十分満喫したようでしたし、ボートの風は気持ち良かったです。

乗り合いのボートと比べると多少値段は張りますが、プライベートではないとできないことができ、子どもたちにもとてもいい体験になったと思います。
それなりの4人以上の家族・グループ、特に比較的小さな子供のいる方にとっては、プライベートチャーターにする価値は十分あると思います。

The canoe was a very cool option and keeps the number of people in the group low. The boat sailed a very short distance to the manta viewing area- great for me as I tend to get motion sick. The water was warmer than I thought- again great for me bc I think I’m allergic to cold water. I wore my own wetsuit but they provided everyone with a proper wetsuit top. I wore both and was fine. Our 12yo said he was cold but didn’t complain.
We were all provided snorkels and masks. We all got into the water and held onto a floating device equipped with an underwater light. There we’re several mantas in the area and a few of them swam within inches of us! One touched my arm with its belly. We were in the water about 30 minutes at best guess which was plenty of time in my opinion. I specifically booked a shorter tour for fear of getting sick or freezing but none occurred.
Overall it was a very cool experience and our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Definitely recommend this adventure!

We signed up for a snorkeling trip online. Mind you, we’ve done these trips before where they take us out on a catamaran and find some secluded bay where we can go and check out the tropical fish and coral reef and maybe a chance at a sea turtle.

Well, this trip was not quite the same. We did find a secluded bay that had a nice cool reef and tropical fish but we got there by use of a Ford expedition (which had no AC by the way). We then traveled to a second spot by car, where we did get a chance to see a sea turtle, but not much else.

Our snorkel guide was very kind and considerate and made sure that everybody in our small group of four was safe. But it seemed like he was working with one arm tied behind his back, because he had to hunt out the two places for us to dive.

We prefer private charters and snorkeling trips and Aloha Kona Tours did not disappoint. We had such a good time on our Sept 9th cruise we booked a night time Manta Ray cruise the very next day!

On our first cruise we got to see turtles and dolphins and actually got to snorkel with a 25 foot whale shark. It was outstanding! The Captain is excellent and the Crew is very friendly and knowledgeable! The Captain was accommodating to our request for our outing to make the trip very personalized.

On our second night Manta Ray cruise we enjoyed a stunning sunset cruise and tour of the city from the water. Then we snorkeled with the Manta Rays for about 30 minutes. They have all the gear and the Crew was so accommodating. Three of us got in the water and swam with the Rays and our fourth person was a little shy but the Crew made sure she got to see the Rays up close without leaving the boat.

Both trips were truly unforgettable and amazing! The boat is beautiful and comfortable.

８月1日朝8時の集合でシーカヤック参加してきました。
乗り込んで、５分もせずバランスを崩して見事ひっくり返りましたが、これがいい経験になったのか、そのあとは順調にこぐことができました。
波もそんなになくて、海中洞窟（ドラコンスロート）にもしっかり入ってみることができとてもよい経験ができました。
今回は私たち2人だけの参加だったので、ノニさんに完全サポートをしていただきました。ありがとうございました！
昼過ぎにホテルに帰った後は、夕食までしっかり眠るほど疲れていたみたいですが、本当に楽しかったです。
また、ハワイ島に行ったら参加したいです。
ちなみに、50代後半の夫婦ですが、体力的には問題なかったです。

This is an intimate and friendly canoe trip. I enjoyed it with my three kids and the crew was helpful and patient with my littlest one who had never snorkeled. Our canoe boat trip was great. We loved the smaller boat experience - only about 12 of us - vs. the big catamarans. The captain and crew of two were friendly and fun. One hour was just right, since the trip out to the viewing spot only took a few minutes.

It was a rainy warm trip but had a lot of fun. Devon was a great guide and although we did not see any turtles we saw plenty of fish and coral. Also learned a lot about the local area and history. Very helpful for getting our son, who is not a strong swimmer and new to snorkeling, into the water. Our guide explained everything very well and emphasized safety and respect for the land, sea and marine life.

We had a great time kayaking in the ocean. The scenery was absolutely beautiful along the coast. The weather was warm and the ocean water was refreshing. The kids enjoyed the cliff jumping. Our guide Devin was very accommodating and knowledgeable! He was thorough when discussing safety in the reef and how best to use the equipment. He seemed to enjoy the experience as much as we did even though we know he does this every day! We were thrilled to be able to commune with sea turtles as they relaxed in the sunshine. He then navigated us through the coral reef and pointed out a bunch of wildlife we might have never have seen on our own. The snacks and drinks at the end of the tour were exactly what we needed after swimming for an hour and a half. We appreciated the personalized experience and would absolutely do this again!

It is Amazing!!! In person always better than in the pictures!!! I would definitely do this again (on the nice current ) The ride from the pier was short which was really nice so we wouldn’t be so cold for a long time. The cost of this is great! Better than other deals I was searching.
We saw so many Manta and they were all under us and swam up close to us for the plankton ❤️

It is for sure one of the best memory for my Hawaiian trip!
We will be back!!!

It’s really hard to go wrong with a sunset/early evening swim with manta rays in Hawaii. 100% worth the $. Our 8 and 10 yr old loved it. 8 yr old was nervous but boat captain and crew explained everything, made it fun, and he was way less stressed once we got out there. Canoe ride is short, water isn’t too cold either. Actually, I don’t really remember the water temperature because I was too busy watching for manta rays and freaking out over how amazing it was.

This was money well spent. The crew was very nice and sent emails for confirmation reminders and directions. They were very knowledgeable and gave a ton of information about rays through the evening. Amount of time was perfect!
I'm not a person who gets seasick but I did in the water after laying horizontally with the waves for so long.

Saw so many manta rays.. at least four. They came close many times. Enough to record and to turn off your camera and just live in the experience.

Would recommend to anyone!

I liked this company because it's a small group and you get to ride a canoe.

The guide in the water was very nice and gave lots of information about the mantas. Small enough group that even though I was on the very end, I could hear him.

ボートとクルーは素晴らしかったです！シュノーケリングの機材は一流でした。2つの停留所ではあまり野生動物を見ることができませんでした。小さな魚がたくさんいました。2つ目の停留所の方が良かったです。BBQがビーガンだとはサインアップ時に気づきませんでした。ビーガンが好きな人には良いですが、ノンビーガンの食べ物も提供してくれると良かったです。クルーズの食事には追加料金を支払ったので、普通の食べ物が欲しかったです。全体的に、バーと提供された飲み物はとても良く、笑顔でサービスされました。妻はボートと座席が最高だと思っていました。クルーは非常に情報豊かで、ゲストと知識や文化を共有することを喜んでいました。また参加したいです！

The boat and crew were great! The snorkeling equipment was first class. We didn't see that much wildlife at the two stops. A lot of small fish. The second stop was better. Didn't notice in the sign-up that the BBQ was vegan. That is nice for folks who like it but it would have been good to offer non-vegan food as well. We paid extra for the food on the cruise and I would have liked some regular food. Overall, the bar and drinks offered were very good and served with a smile. My wife thought the boat and seating were the best. The crew were very informative and happy to share their knowledge and culture with the guests. Would do it again!

パートナーと2人で参加しました。ガイドのノニさんが親切かつとてもフレンドリーで楽しいカヤック&シュノーケル体験が出来ました。崖上からのジャンプも楽しかったです。写真もたくさん撮って頂きました。本当良い思い出になりました。次回もぜひ参加したいです。参加前の日はしっかり睡眠を取ることをお勧めします。カヤック初心者には少しハードかもですが、次の日の筋肉痛とかはありませんでした。

全体的な体験は素晴らしかったです。キャプテン・ダニエルと彼女のクルーメイトは知識が豊富で、親切で助けてくれました。私たちはマスクのすぐ近くで無限のバレルロールをするマンタをたくさん見ることができました！！！ ボートライドは短く、ライトボードで水の中でたっぷり時間を過ごしました。参考までに、水から上がるためには3段のボートラダーを登る必要がありますが、私たちのツアーでは問題ありませんでしたが、他の人には難しいかもしれないと思いました。時間とお金をかける価値は十分にあります！！

The whole experience was well done. Captain Danielle and her crew mate were knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We saw tons of mantas doing endless barrel rolls inches from our masks!!! The boat ride is brief and we spent plenty of time in the water on the light-board. FYI- You need to be able to climb up a 3-rung boat ladder to get out of the water, it went fine with our tour but I could imagine that might be tough for some. Well worth the time and money!!
