結婚40周年を記念して、初めてカウアイ島を訪れました。到着翌日に当ツアーを入れましたが、それは大正解でした。ガイドのKaoriさんが、カウアイに精通しておられ博識で、歴史から政治経済、社会に至るまで、9時間のツアーが上質な時間として過ごすことができました。初めて行く人にとっては、このツアーはMustです。この日にいろいろと知ることができて、翌日以降が一層充実しました。Kaoriさんのおかげで、カウアイ島が大好きになりました。

川のクルーズは穏やかで素晴らしく、私たちのグループに赤ちゃんがいる場合の休暇にとても良い選択でした。ツアーガイドがマイクで話していることがはっきり聞こえなかったので、見ているものについての説明を聞き逃してしまいましたが、ボートの旅自体は素晴らしかったです。私たちはファーン・グロットへのハイキングを楽しみました。

The river cruise was peaceful and lovely and a great option for a vacation with a baby in our party. We could not clearly hear what the tour guide was saying on the microphone, so we missed what was being said about what we were viewing, but the boat ride itself was lovely. We enjoyed the hike to the Fern Grotto.

始まりから終わりまで本当に素晴らしかったです。施設も素晴らしく、人々も素晴らしく、ナレーションも素晴らしく、非常に貴重な情報がたくさんありました。とても楽しかったので、もう一度やりたいです!!!!!! すべてのペニーの価値がありました。

Truly amazing from start to finish. The facilities were great, the people were great, the narration was amazing and so much valuable information. So fun would do it again!!!!!! Worth every penny

私たちは家族の大きなグループと一緒に来ました。7歳から9歳の孫たちも含まれていました。この場所の川の谷やグロットの本物の音楽、歴史、物語を聞くのは興味深かったです。（グロットまでの道のりは遠くなく、舗装された道で、だいたい市街地のブロック1つ分くらいでしたが、私たちはその場所の美しさに気を取られていたかもしれません！）

帰り道では、ボートに戻る前にトイレに立ち寄る人もいました。そして、ボートに戻る途中で、さらに音楽が聞こえてきました。才能ある楽器や声が響き、キャプテンが踊りについての情報を教えてくれました。私たちは音楽に合わせて立ち上がり、踊りながらいくつかの動作を教わりました！楽しかったです！

私たちは虫除けスプレーを使っていましたが、特に必要はありませんでした。この6月の午後はそれほどひどくなかったです。午後2時の乗船で、3時30分に戻りました。

We had a large group of family who came with us, including grandchildren from ages 7-9 yrs - was interesting to hear the authentic music, history, and stories of this location of the river valley and grotto. (The walk to the Grotto wasn't far, on a poured path, maybe a city block, more or less, but we may have been distracted by the beauty of the place!)
On the way back, some stopped by the bathrooms before getting back on the boat. Then we heard more music as we headed back on the boat- talented instruments and voices, the captain told more info about the dances as we watched, and we were taught some of the actions as we stood and danced to the music, too! Was fun!
We wore mosquito spray but had no real reason to- they weren't too bad on this particular afternoon in June. 2 pm ride, back by 3:30.

私と夫はボートライドと歴史を楽しみました。エンターテイメントも楽しかったです。しかし、虫除けスプレーを使うように言われたことは覚えていません。グロットを訪れた後、20か所以上の虫刺されができてしまい、島での滞在の残りが台無しになってしまいました。

My husband and I enjoyed the boat ride and the history. The entertainment was fun too. Unfortunately, I don't remember being told to use bug spray. I had over 20 bites after visiting the grotto, which messed up the remainder of my stay on the island.

素晴らしい時間の過ごし方でした。クルーは素晴らしかったです。キャプテンが島の歴史について素晴らしい話をしてくれ、ハワイの音楽とフラも完璧でした。これはすべての年齢層に適しています。ファーン・グロットまでの道は舗装されています。私たちの乗客の一人は車椅子を利用しており、全てのエクスカーションを楽しむことができました。午後の簡単なエクスカーションとして、これを強くお勧めします。マハロ、またお会いしましょう。

What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. The crew was fantastic. Captain gave us some great history of the island and the Hawaiian music and hula was perfect. This is good for all ages. The walk to the Fern Grotto is paved. One of our passengers had a wheelchair and was able to enjoy the full excursion. I highly recommend this for an afternoon, easy excursion. Mahalo, until we meet again.

We had a great time on this tour. David and Cousin Kyle were awesome guides! We liked hearing the history while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Swimming at the waterfall was amazing!

　シバタさんの巧妙なお話で、楽しい1日を過ごすことが出来ました。
天候が心配だったのですが、快晴に恵まれ、特に「ハワイのグランドキャニオン」の異名を持つワイメア渓谷は一見の価値がありました。オアフ島では感じられないハワイの荒々しい大自然を経験できました。
道路が完成していたので、カララウ展望台は、プウオキラ展望台にも車で行けました。見る場所、時間、天候によって景観を変える渓谷は素晴らしいです。
　重なり合っている多数のミドリウミガメや絶滅危惧種のハワイアン・モンクシールも見ることが出来ました。

とても楽しい冒険でした！もっとゆっくりで舗装された道が多いと思っていましたが、実際には少しテクニカルな部分もある良いサイドバイサイドのトレイルで、スピード感もありました。私たちは大好きでした！

Such a fun adventure! I was expecting it to be much more slow, on more paved roads, but it was an actual good side-by-side trail with some mildly technical spots and a good amount of speed. We loved it!

Great trip on the river! The captain was very informative on the local culture. The crew performed a dance at the grotto and also performed several dances on the way back on the boat. A good value.

The boat were large and covered. The bride was smooth and pretty. Interesting commentary. Good music. Fun hula dancer. The fern grotto was beautiful especially in the rain. Nice walk, not hard. All in all. An outstanding trip for a rainy days. Must be great in the sun also.

雨が降っていたけれど、それでも楽しく、美しい景色でした。傘が用意されていて、とても良かったです。

Even though it was raining it was still fun and beautiful scenery. Umbrellas were provided which was so nice.

The Fern Grotto tour was a great precursor to the Smith Family Luau. The trek was interesting, and we learned some historical facts, and saw some beautiful scenery. The hula dancing was fun (to watch). It was well worth the time

それは主張している通りです。座って川を上り、自然の特徴がある場所まで短いハイキングをします。そこでは水が洞窟のように削られた場所から滴り落ちています。ツアー中にいくつかのことを説明してくれましたが、私が座っていた場所の音響が良くなく、すべてを理解するのは難しかったです。その合間にハワイの歌をいくつか歌ってくれました。全体的には良かったですが、あまり期待しすぎない方がいいでしょう。

It is what it claims. You sit and ride up the river to a short hike to a natural feature where water drips over cavernous undercut. On tour they explained a few things but the acoustics where I sat weren't great to understand everything. Between that they sang some Hawaiian songs. All fine. Just wouldn't expect too much.

先週、私たち夫婦は雨の合間を縫ってATVツアーに参加しました。それが特別な体験になったと思います。水たまりをたくさん通り抜けたからです。ツアーガイドはとても親切で知識が豊富でした。彼らはツアーを楽しく、安全に進行してくれました。キプランチの歴史や、そこで撮影された多くの映画やテレビ番組についての話はとても興味深かったです。滝も素晴らしかったですが、最近の雨の影響で下のプールは泥だらけでした。このツアーを強くお勧めします。私たちが70代前半でも、非常に快適で安全なカワサキのATVで、最も荒れた地形でも簡単に運転できました！

My husband and I took the ATV tour between rain storms last week. I think that made it extra special because of all the water we drove through. Our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. They kept the tour fun and safe for all. The history behind Kipu Ranch and the many movies and TV shows filmed there was very interesting. The waterfall was very nice even though the pool below was muddy from all of the recent rain. I would highly recommend this tour. Even in our early 70's, we easily drove even the roughest terrain in the very comfortable and save Kawasaki ATVs!

家族とカウアイに滞在中、スミスファミリーのファーン・グロット川クルーズを試してみることにしましたが、これは素晴らしいエンターテイメントの選択でした。私たちは歴史が好きで、訪れる場所について学ぶのが好きなので、クルーズの始まりにワイメア川の興味深い歴史と地理についての完全なナレーションがあったことに pleasantly surprised（驚かされました）。クルーは私たちを息をのむようなファーン・グロットへ導き、美しい音楽で体験をさらに引き立ててくれました。戻りの途中では音楽とダンスで楽しませてくれ、とても楽しかったです。旅はあっという間に終わってしまいました！費用も非常にリーズナブルでした。この旅を強くお勧めします！

While in Kauai with family we decided to try the Smith Family Fern Grotto River Cruise, which was an awesome choice of entertainment. We love history and learning about places we visit, so we were pleasantly surprised when the beginning of the cruise was a full narration of the interesting history and geography of the Waimea River. The crew led us to the breathtaking Fern Grotto and enhanced the experience with beautiful music. On the way back to the dock we were entertained with music and dancing, which was very fun. The trip ended much too soon! The cost was very reasonable. We would highly recommend this trip!
