投稿者: Katrin, 2023/03/21外国人がいっぱい来るレンタルサービスですが、思ったよりずっとかわいい着物を着るができました！場所は狭いが、多言語をしゃべるスタッフ陣の対応がフレンドリーで、着付けと髪型のセンスも抜群です。全体的にスムーズな過程でした。また、着付けしてもらった着物も、浅草の街中を歩いても、一番かわいいと自分が思ってしまいました笑。また利用したいと思います。

素敵な思い出作り＆おもてなしができました

Grenat experience !
投稿者: Tamara, 2019/08/20We wanted to tour the Nihombashi shrines in kimonos : the welcome and fitting was perfect, the lady was very soft and polite and used a translator to communicate if necessary.
There was a large choice of kimonos/obis/bags/hair ornaments and shoes all in perfect condition. Even the August temperature couldn't lower our enthusiasm !
I completely recommand the experience ! We received compliments from natives on the street and shot beautiful pictures.

初めての浅草
投稿者: YUKI, 2019/05/04浅草へ行くのは初めてで、一人旅だったのでどうしようかと考え、こちらのお店へお願いする事に。スタッフさんはとても感じ良いし、着付けの手際も良かったです。普段は着ない着物を着て、カメラマンさんと一緒に浅草へ。オプションでお願いしていた写真撮影も、写真を撮るだけだと思っていたら、とっても丁寧に観光案内までして下さって本当に助かりました。写真撮影も本格的で、目線やポーズにまで気を遣っての撮影にびっくりしました。大変思い出に残る素敵な時間にして下さったスタッフの方々に感謝でいっぱいです。また機会があったら利用したいと思っております。ありがとうございました。

They had a lot of options of gorgeous kimonos and I was indecisive. They were so nice and helped me picked a beautiful blue kimono and did a great job. Even though I forgot something inside twice they were so sweet and let me in. I was able to walk around comfortably and a lot of people loved my attire and hairdo. I was so happy on it. Best highlight of my trip! ❤ Thank you!

投稿者: Sam, 2018/08/02This was something the girls (daughters & girlfriend) really wanted to do. I was not as enthusiastic about it.
When we arrived the staff was extremely friendly and immediately tended to all of our needs/requirements. We chose our Kimonos and they dressed us all up. They made up the females' hair really nice and beautiful and gave us more than enough time to walk around Asakusa after. There is a great temple about a block away to take super pictures at.
Additionally, one of the staff members makes origami earrings and they are for sale at a very great price. They also have fans, umbrellas and other accessories for rent/sale.
The overall experience was actually better than I thought it would be. We had such a great time. The downside to it was getting some dirty looks from some of the locals; however, for the most part, many enjoyed it and took pictures of/with us. There were more people who liked it than not. There was a family (Japanese) who was in there prior to us dressing up and walking around as well. We saw them later at the temple along with a few others from other kimono places all dressed up. So we did not feel out of place once we saw others.
I highly recommend this company if you want a great Kimono experience. They also have Samurai wear and other traditional dresses. Look them up (Sakura Photography in Asakusa).

Quick tour of Asakusa
投稿者: Eric Canoy, 2018/04/19Second to the last day of our Japan trip, we had booked a rental at Sakura Photo Studio in Asakusa. Being.that we had a large group, of seven participants, we wanted to go in early to get ahead of the crowd.
We arrived via Ginza line, and in a few short blocks we were at the studio. It was located in 4 story building on the corner of two streets. Signs were posted on thier windows to show where they were located. The elevator is small, so you'll have to go in small groups of 3 or 4 at a time.
As we got there most of the employees of Sakura Photo Studio were just getting in, but we're ready to help us get into our kimonos. They were really quick and patient in helping us choose our kimonos. One of the employees spoke FOUR LANGUAGES: Japanese, Korean, Chinese ( Mandarin), and English! That was really helpful especially when other groups started to enter the studio,including that the studio is very small for changing into the kimonos.
The staff was able to get us into.our kimonos within the hour and let us know how long we had the rentals for the day. They also had some discounts on Rik Shaw rides through Asakusa. You'll look extra traditional with your kimonos.
Overall, the service was great, the quality of the kimonos were great and diverse, and the staff was very helpful. Will do again if I come back to Asakusa.

アットホームな着物体験

ワクワク入室すると、ハローっと迎えられました。外国人の参加が大半とのことで癖で出てしまったとのこと（笑）
明るい女性2人が暖かく迎えてくれました。
私たちは夫婦と2人の子供、4人での撮影でしたが、子供への対応が素晴らしく、すぐに子供がなつき、終始楽しく撮影ができました！
子供はここに泊まるとか、最後はエレベーターで帰りたくないと泣くほど（笑）
よっぽど楽しかったようです。
着させていただいた着物も素晴らしく、外国人向けのため、普段きれないような、少し派手なものを着ることができました。
外国人はもちろんのこと、日本人の方も楽しく記念に残る撮影ができる素晴らしいスタジオだと思います！おすすめです！

色とりどりの浴衣にテンション上がりました。

店内には色とりどりの浴衣や下駄、巾着がズラリと並んでいて心躍りました。
着付けもスムーズで嬉しかったです。
ただ、浴衣を返却する際に髪飾りまで回収されかけたのは悲しかったです（髪飾りは自分で持ち込んだものだったため）。
他にもいくつか手違いがあり、悲しい気持ちになってしまいました。どんなコースを申し込み、どんなオプションを付けているかは把握しておいていただけたら嬉しかったです。
ただ、浴衣の絵柄や下駄など種類豊富で可愛いデザインが多かったことや着付けのスムーズさには満足しております。ありがとうございました。

Explored Asakusa and Senso-ji Temple in a Kimono!
投稿者: Anna, 2017/06/12Newfound respect for the ladies who had to wear kimonos on a daily basis back in the day! I didn't know the prep was so tedious. It was both surprisingly fun and tiring to walk in a kimono. We ate street food, shopped around Orange St and walked to Senso-ji Temple while we were wearing them. We were lucky that the place where we rented it from had actual silk kimonos instead of polyester because it was a very hot Sunday afternoon. Would recommend this experience to first time Tokyo visitors!

投稿者: Sheila, 2017/05/23I didn't enjoy this tour. I didn't expect that I had to strip off my clothes in a space (with just a cloth as a door) with other strangers. Wearing the kimono was uncomfortable. It was heavy and complicated to wear (and take off). That particular day was also hot, so I was all sweaty and uneasy while walking outside. Good thing about this tour was the friendly staff at the Sakura Photo Studio.
We appreciate customers who let us know when things are not right. We are sorry you did not feel good with wearing kimono. Kimono is traditional wear that people need to put those in patience because of process to wear and with lots of layer clothes sometimes. Lots of people understand that. We are sorry for dressing room curtain. Extreme expression, `you had to strip off with other guests`? We never treat customers like that, anyways. We let our staff this issue notice as a serious warning if some of our staff treat you like that.
