和束町は日本三大名茶の一つ宇治茶の主産地で、京都府内産茶葉の約45％を生産しています。和束のお茶は宇治茶の郷茶もしくは親茶と言われています。和束茶カフェはその和束茶のみを使用した生産者のこだわりのお茶300品以上揃えた全国唯一の直売所です。
店内には、お茶に関する雑貨や和束伝統の商品などさまざまな品がところせましと並んでいます。
抹茶の点て方を学ぶ (約30分)
抹茶のお話の後、抹茶を点て美味しくいただきます。抹茶を点てたことない方でも丁寧にお教えしますので安心してご参加ください。（和菓子付き）

抹茶を自分で点てて、お薄の上に絵や字など自由に描きます。絵心ないわという方でも、茶筅で点て直せば何度でも書き直しができます。アートの後は抹茶を美味しくいただきます。（和菓子付き）
