The staff from Karakaze will pick you up at your accommodation (service available from Toyohara to Urauchi settlements).
The pick-up time will vary depending on your accommodation area, and we will contact you the day before to confirm.
After the tour, we will drop you off at your accommodation on Iriomote Island or at the port.
*Please note that pick-up and drop-off services are not available for the Shirahama, Kanpira, and Sonai areas.
Guests staying in these areas will need to meet and dismiss at Uehara Port.
To reach Uehara Port, please use the ferry company’s bus, a local bus, or a rental car.

For those staying near Ohara Port, please note that if we have an afternoon tour scheduled, we can only drop you off at Uehara Port. From Uehara Port, you will need to return to your accommodation on your own using public buses or other means of transportation.
・For guests staying on Ishigaki Island
After the tour, we will drop you off at Uehara Port.
If the Uehara route is operating, there will be no issues. However, if the Uehara route is canceled, you will need to take the ferry company’s shuttle bus to Ohara Port and board the ferry from there.
If we do not have an afternoon tour scheduled, we may be able to provide transportation to Ohara Port.

◎ Departure is from Ishigaki Island's Remote Island Terminal.
We will call you the day before the tour to inform you of the port (Ohara or Uehara) and ferry departure time.

Winter (10/1–6/30): 8:00–8:30 AM - ■ Customers from Taketomi Island or Kohama Island
Participation is not permitted. - Due to ferry schedules, day-trip guests from Taketomi Island or Kohama Island cannot join our afternoon course. Participation is possible if your accommodation on the tour day is in Ishigaki Island or Iriomote Island.
- If you have time or are unsure between the "full-day tour" and "half-day tour," we recommend the full-day tour.

Guests staying near Uehara Port will be dropped off by our staff after the tour.
For those staying near Ohara Port, if there is an afternoon tour, we can only drop you off at Uehara Port. From there, please use public buses or other transportation to return to your accommodation. - ・For guests staying on Ishigaki Island
After the tour, we will drop you off at Uehara Port.
If the Uehara route is operating, there’s no issue. However, if it’s canceled, you’ll need to take the ferry company’s shuttle bus to Ohara Port for your ferry.
If we don’t have an afternoon tour, we may be able to take you to Ohara Port directly.
