Nishinokyo is quite challenging to explore using public transportation due to time constraints. If you're considering renting a car and paying for parking, I definitely recommend this option where you can enjoy guided tours that include admission fees. However, be prepared to do quite a bit of walking. Other than that, the guide provides explanations, so you don't need to prepare in advance, and the optional bento for 1,000 yen is reasonably priced.

西の京は、公共交通機関で回るには時間的にかなり厳しいです。レンタカーを借りて駐車料金も払うぐらいなら、拝観料込みで運転もお任せのこちらの方が絶対にお勧めです。ただし、かなり歩く覚悟が必要です。それ以外は、ガイドさんの説明があるので予習なしでも大丈夫だし、オプションのお弁当1000円も良心的だと思います。

According to the guide, trekking to Jomon Sugi is most beautiful in cloudy weather or light rain. I felt the same way. I participated in the trekking at Shiratani Unsuikyo the day before, so climbing mountains for two consecutive days was quite tough. However, there were quite a few people in the same situation. Even in cloudy weather, I was drenched in sweat while climbing, and I hardly wore the rental gear. I drank water from a stream for the first time in my life, and it was cold and delicious. After returning to the lodge, both my husband and I were exhausted. But I’m really glad I was able to see Jomon Sugi in person.

As a beginner in mountain climbing, it was really tough for me. After returning to the lodge in the evening, I was so exhausted that my spouse and I just fell asleep right away. However, since people of all ages participate, I think anyone can join. According to our guide, the moss isn't beautiful unless it rains, and you can't see the view from Taiko Rock unless it's sunny, so it was rare to have such an ideal day with rain the day before and good weather on the day itself. The nature and moss along the way were beautiful, but the view from Taiko Rock and the thrill of the cliffs were absolutely the best. It was hot, so I ended up not wearing most of the rental gear. There were quite a few people who took off their clothes along the way because they were drenched in sweat.

山登り初心者なので余計かもしれませんが、とにかく山登りが本当に辛かったです。夕方宿に戻ってからは、あまりの疲労でぐったり、夫婦共々そのまま寝てしまいました。でも老若男女が参加されてますので、誰でも参加できると思います。ガイドさん曰く、雨が降っていないと苔が美しくないし、晴れてないと太鼓岩から景色が見えないので、前日雨で、当日は天気が良かったので、こんな理想的な日は珍しいとのことでした。道中の自然や苔も美しかったですが、やはり太鼓岩からの眺めと崖のスリルはとにかく最高でした。暑かったので、レンタルしたウェアは結局ほとんど着用しませんでした。汗だくになり、途中で脱いでる人がけっこういました。

We boarded a mini bus with a small group on time and went island hopping. We made a brief stop at a photo spot that was easily visible from the window. The guide's explanations were very clear, and when we talked about "Twenty-Four Eyes," I found myself getting emotional. This is an experience that you wouldn't be able to feel if you were just driving around in a rental car or cycling.

They efficiently took us around the sightseeing spots. The weather was rainy, but I've heard that Kabira Bay looks beautiful on both sunny and rainy days. (It's said that it doesn't look as beautiful on cloudy days.) So, I'm glad I participated even though it was raining. The lunch was also delicious.

Due to the rain that fell from the night before, the river swelled! The original plan was quickly revised to include cave exploration and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The cave exploration was as thrilling as what you see on TV! It was my first experience wading into the river up to my chin. As for SUP, I struggled a bit during practice, but once I tried it, it was easy and fun! The water submersion after the battle was also a memorable experience, haha. I'm grateful to the staff who worked hard to make the unpredictable weather enjoyable! I had a great time.

夜から降った雨のため、川増水！当初の計画は急遽組み直され、洞窟探検とsupに。洞窟探検はテレビで見るような迫力！顎まで川に浸かっての探索は初体験です。supは、練習はおぼつかなかったけど、やってみたら簡単で楽しかった！

I didn't realize we had arrived, and then we started the dark tour by turning the car around in a narrow passageway. I was taken down a path that made me think, "Are we really going this way?!" and right from the start, I got to see a coconut crab.

After that, we discovered various sizes of coconut crabs, and it was a continuous cycle of touching them and being surprised. We also found many other creatures. Although the starry sky was faint due to the clouds, we strolled along the beach, and honestly, it was more fun than I expected.

It's early in the morning and tough, but I think it's worth going at least once.

First, the trolley path takes about 2 hours one way, and after that, there's a 2-hour hike. For those who don't plan to hike or do similar activities, I recommend renting shoes, trekking poles, a backpack, and rain gear. Personally, I believe mid-cut trekking shoes are essential. I think I would have injured my ankles if I hadn't worn mid-cuts on the way down.

Also, if the weather isn't favorable, it might be quite tough... The scenery from the trolley path to the end is full of highlights. For those who love nature just by walking, I think it's irresistible.

There are water stations here and there, so you don't need to carry too much water. Bringing powdered sports drinks can help lighten your load a bit. The toilets are limited in number, so I managed to avoid using a portable toilet by keeping my hydration moderate.

Having a few sweet snacks made things much easier. Overall, it's tough, but for those who want to experience a sense of achievement and overwhelming nature, I think it's worth it.

I was blessed with good weather and a great guide, making it the best trip ever. Thank you so much. I will come back to Yakushima. It was an amazing three days.

最初にトロッコ道が片道約2時間、これが終わると登山を2時間あります。
これから登山などをする予定が無い人は、レンタルで靴やストック、リュック、雨具などをした方がいいと思います。
個人的にミドルカットのトレッキングシューズは必須と思います。
下りで2回ほどミドルカットでなければ足首痛めてただろうなぁと思います。
あとは、天気に恵まれないとかなりキツイかも…
景色はトロッコ道から最後まで見どころ満載です。
歩いてるだけで自然が好きな方にはたまらないと思います。
飲み物は、ところどころに給水場があるのであまり大量に持って行かなくても大丈夫でした。
粉末のスポーツドリンクを持っていけば少しだけ荷物減らせます。
トイレは、場所が限られてるので水分補給はほどほどにしてなんとか携帯トイレ使わずに済みました。
あとは、甘いものが少しあるだけでだいぶ楽になりました。
とにかくキツイけど、達成感と圧倒的な自然を体験したいかたは行く価値ありと思います。

ガイドさんにも天気にも恵まれて最高の旅行になりました。
本当にありがとうございました。
また屋久島に来ます。
最高の3日間でした。

If you have any requests for poses, you can shoot in your preferred style, so I think it's a good idea to consider any requests in advance. The shooting location was at a golf course, and the parking area was a bit hard to find, but if you're unsure, you can call the staff, and they will kindly guide you. Also, since the shoot took place in a completely dark area without streetlights, it was convenient to bring a flashlight or something similar.

I highly recommend this tour.

The communication from the reservation to the day of the event was seamless, and I felt reassured by the company. However, the guide on the day was the absolute worst.

- The guide was mean, and just thinking about it makes me angry.
- They only seemed to care about getting back and forth quickly. (This felt like the overall policy of the company, which raises questions.)
- Their voice was so quiet that I couldn't hear them, and when I tried to ask questions or clarify, I was ignored. At first, I thought they just didn't hear me, but after being ignored multiple times, it was clear it was intentional. As a result, even if I had questions during the trip, I couldn't ask.
- They only wanted to talk about themselves and their achievements, and they were persistent until I reacted.
- I had lost the desire to talk, and then I saw another group where the younger people laughed at everything, which made me think how nice that was.
- They repeatedly said they would carry someone if they got injured, but only if they were cute.
- When I jokingly mentioned to a friend that I wanted to ride the trolley because I was tired, they said, "You can ride if you break your neck." I couldn't believe my ears.
- I slipped and fell on the way back, but there was no care offered, and even though I was walking in a safe area, I was told it was my fault for not being careful.
- For some reason, the guide went to the back on the return trolley path, and I was forced to walk at the front while being told to speed up, with no chance for a bathroom break. I wasn't even informed about the timing for the last restroom stop.

There are countless issues I could mention, but overall, the guide had no intention of making the experience enjoyable and was self-centered, wanting only to be praised.

・こちらはとにかく話す気にもなれなくなっていた所、他のグループを見て、若い子は何言っても笑ってくれるからいいな、と言う。
・ケガした場合は背負うが、可愛い子限定だと連呼。
・疲れたからトロッコに乗せて欲しいと友人と冗談で話していたら、「首の骨が折れたら乗せてもらえる」と。耳を疑った。
・復路に足を滑らせ転んでしまったが、なんのケアもない上、自分が歩きやすい所を歩いているのに、見ていないのがダメなんだと言われる。
・復路のトロッコ道はなぜかガイドが最後尾にいき、私が先頭を歩かされた上、もっとスピードあげろといわれ、トイレ休憩すらままならない。最後のトイレのタイミングも教えてもらえなかった。
など、あげたらキリがないが、トータル、楽しんでもらおうという気がなく、自分を褒めて欲しいという自己中心的な、最悪なガイドだった。

However, due to a shortage of guides caused by COVID-19, we were supposed to have one guide for every seven people, but it seemed like we were going to have one guide for ten people. Fortunately, a group that couldn't participate due to flight cancellations reduced our number to six. What I felt during the trip was that having a long line of ten people walking together increases the risks. This time, the guide was excellent! 😊

大雨が続き飛行機も欠航するなか　前日まで登山バスも運休。でも私達参加の２日間だけ奇跡的晴れ間！ガイドさんも２日ともタイプは違いますが　ベテランガイドでとても良かったです。ただ、コロナでガイド不足のため7人に一人ガイドでなければいけないのに、10人で一人ガイドにされそうになったたまたま飛行機欠航で参加できなくなったグループがでて、６人になったけど。参加して感じたのは10人で歩く列が長くなると危険も多くなると思った。今回のガイドさんは最高でした(^.^)

It was a journey with just one driver. I think it must be really tough to do everything alone, but I wish there was at least a little guidance about the places to visit before getting off. Since it’s difficult to provide information while driving, it would be helpful to convey an overview of the location, its history, and points of interest through a recorded audio guide. Just being told the meeting time leaves participants confused about how to make the most of the short sightseeing time. It’s essential for participants to research the sightseeing points in advance.

Also, while it's understandable that there can be issues at the start of the trip, I feel there could have been a bit more recovery in the itinerary during the journey (like the relationship between Toyako Onsen and Showa Shinzan).

All the sightseeing points were wonderful!

運転しながらは難しいと思うので、録音した音声でその場所の概要、成り立ちや魅力のポイントなどを伝えるなど。。
集合時間だけ伝えられても、短い観光時間をどう使えばいいのか、戸惑います。
参加される方、観光ポイント事前調べが必須です。

The shiba sakura and tulips were both very nice. The tulips, in particular, were impressive! However, it seems better to think of this as a tour or a similar experience to taking a highway bus. It's definitely a relief since it's quite difficult to get to Yubetsu from Sapporo on your own.

Having two drivers made me feel safe, but there was no guide during the trip. After boarding, there was no explanation of the itinerary, and there were no announcements about rest stops. (As stated in the application URL, this isn't a problem, and you can see where you are on Google Maps.) However, it might feel a bit strange for those used to group bus tours.

When I asked the driver if we needed to pay the entrance fee ourselves upon arrival, everyone was taken aback (laughs). When I mentioned that it was included in the tour fee, they hurriedly bought the tickets.

Since there were only eight participants this time, we used a microbus. I tried to watch videos on my smartphone during the ride, but I gave up since I couldn't charge it. Unfortunately, my seatbelt was broken, which was a bit scary while driving on the highway.

For lunch, I recommend preparing a quantity similar to what you usually eat. If you try to hold back thinking you'll enjoy local gourmet food at the sightseeing spot, you might find you don't have much to buy and end up getting hungry. 札幌から湧別まで自力で行くのは大変なので、ありがたい企画なのは間違いないです。
運転手さんが2名体制で運転は安心ですが、道中のガイドなどはありません。
搭乗後もとくに行程の説明なく、休憩場所のアナウンスもありません。(申込URLに記載のとおりなので、困ることはありませんし、Google mapでいまどの辺を移動中かもわかります)
ただ、団体バスツアーに慣れている方にとっては違和感があるかもしれません。
運転手さんに目的地に到着後、入園料は各自払うんですかね？と聞かれたので、参加者一同目が点になりました(笑)
ツアー代込みとのことをお伝えすると、あたふた入場券を購入されてました。
今回は参加者が8名のせいか、マイクロバス利用でした。移動中にスマホで動画見ようとしてましたが、充電も出来ないので諦めました。
運が悪かったのか、私の座席はシートベルトが壊れてて使えませんでした。高速道路走行中はちょっと怖かったです。
お昼はいつも食べる位の量を用意するのをおすすめします。観光地感覚でご当地グルメを楽しみたいと思って控えめにすると特に買いたいものもなく、お腹が空くと思います。何でも良ければ、滝上公園の売店で食べれます。

On the first day, we received a notice the day before that there might be a heavy rain warning, and the event was canceled. They informed us that we would receive a full refund due to the cancellation. Since I had come all the way to Yakushima and couldn't leave without seeing Jomon Sugi, I requested to shift my two-day trekking to one day later, and they kindly accepted without any additional charges.

For the second day's trekking tour, since we had to catch a high-speed boat by 4 PM, they stored our luggage in the vehicle to ensure we arrived at the port on time. I had rented a raincoat, bag, and shoes, and they took us back to the return location to drop them off and then to the port. This was a great help.

During the trekking tour, we walked at a comfortable pace, which, although the path was steep, allowed us to reach Jomon Sugi and return safely. It was my first time trekking, and I was anxious, but thanks to the guide's advice, I managed to do it without any injuries. The guide provided detailed explanations throughout the trek, which was very educational. I was delighted that the guide took many wonderful photos at the scenic spots. Although we passed through some scary areas, it was great to see the vast nature.

The rented trekking shoes were clean and very easy to walk in; even when I stepped into a puddle, my feet stayed dry, which was comfortable. The raincoat was also clean, and the pants allowed me to take them off and put them on without removing my shoes, keeping me comfortable even in heavy rain. The weather during the tour was rainy, with no sunny days. The journey to Jomon Sugi was long and challenging, but the path to Taiko Rock on the second day was shorter than to Jomon Sugi, although it was a steep mountain trail. 初日は大雨警報が出るかもしれないということで、前日に中止のお知らせをいただきました。このような中止の為、全額返金してくださるとのことでした。せっかく屋久島まで来て縄文杉が見れずに帰るわけにはいかないと思い、2日間のトレッキングを１日日付をずらして参加したいと申し出た所、追加料金無く快く承諾して下さいました。
2日目のトレッキングツアーは16時に高速船に乗らないといけなかった為、16時までに港に着くよう、荷物は車内に預かって下さり、カッパや鞄、靴をレンタルしていたのですが、帰りに返却先まで連れて行ってくださり、港まで送ってくださりました。たいへん助かりました。
トレッキングツアー中は速くなく程よいペースで歩いてくださったので、険しい道のりでしたがなんとか縄文杉まで行き、帰って来ることができました。トレッキングは初めてで不安でしたが、ガイドさんのアドバイスもあり、なんとかケガも無くできました。トレッキング中はガイドさんが丁寧にいろいろ説明してくださり、いろいろ勉強になりました。写真スポットで素敵な写真をガイドさんがたくさん撮って下さり、嬉しかったです。トレッキング中は怖いところもいっぱい通りましたが、広大な自然がいっぱい見れて良かったです。レンタルのトレッキングシューズは清潔でとても歩きやすく、水溜まりに少しはまっても中が濡れることはなく、快適でした。上下のカッパも清潔で靴を履いたまま脱いだりはいたりできるズボンで、大雨の時も水が染み込む事なく快適でした。鞄も雨よけカバーが付いていて機能的でした。
ツアー中は雨が降ったりやんだりした天候で１日晴れの日はなかったです。
縄文杉までの道のりは長くたいへんでしたが、2日目の太古岩まで行くのは、縄文杉までよりは短い道のりでしたが、急な山道でたいへんでした。このトレッキングツアーに参加するには足腰を鍛えてから参加した方が良いと思いました。

Initially, I was considering traveling by rental car, but I found this tour and decided to join. I'm glad we were able to visit the observation deck overlooking Shirakawa-go. There were some narrow sections of the road, and I think it would have been difficult if I had been traveling by rental car. The guide was also a wonderful person, and it became a very good memory. I'm glad I participated.

I have participated in similar tours several times, but this was my first experience visiting the Churaumi Aquarium first. However, this course is more efficient. It's a classic, but seeing the whale shark always brings a sense of calm. For lunch, I had yakisoba at the aquarium, but it was almost like "yakiudon." Manza Beach had a nice parking lot, but the old cluttered souvenir shops are gone, and it feels like the Okinawan charm that reminded me of Asia has disappeared, which made me a bit sad. Like everywhere else, it's unfortunate that due to COVID-19, we can't sample products at the souvenir shops. American Village is geared towards young people, so I found myself with too much free time. Overall, I think the cost performance of the tour is good.

I boarded from in front of the Okinawa Prefectural Office, but since there was no staff, it seems that the meeting place is difficult to find for first-timers.

なお沖縄県庁前から乗車しましたが、係員がいないため、初めての人には集合場所がわかりにくいようです。

I signed up for a snorkeling tour at the Blue Cave and a mangrove SUP tour, but we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to bad weather. However, the day before, they suggested snorkeling at a different location, and I decided to experience that instead. On the day of the tour, it was cloudy with some light rain, but I was able to enjoy both snorkeling and SUP thoroughly.

They took over 100 photos during the experience, and I was happy to receive the data for free. I didn't have to worry about taking my own photos, which allowed me to focus on the activities. The guides were really cheerful, and I had a great time throughout the experience. I was picked up at the airport by a cute Hello Kitty taxi (there are only a few of them), which really boosted my spirits (^o^).

The five-hour course included the airport → Kyoda Road Station → Kouri Island → supermarket → hotel in Motobu. The kind female driver was very accommodating, even responding politely to my request to take a picture of the white flowers I saw earlier. She took me to a large local supermarket where I was able to buy unique Okinawan ingredients, allowing me to enjoy Okinawan cuisine every day (since it was a self-catering accommodation).

Why didn't I give it the highest rating? It was because of the downpour during the rainy season, which forced us to give up on visiting Nakijin Castle ruins ^^; I will definitely ask for this service again next time and seek a do-over!

かわいいキティちゃんのタクシー(数台しかない)で空港に迎えに来てくれて、テンションアップ(^o^)

５時間コースで、空港→許田道の駅→古宇利島→スーパー→本部のホテル。
親切な女性ドライバーさんで、「さっき見た白い花の写真を撮りたい」なんていう要望にも丁寧に対応してくれました。
スーパーも地元の大きな店に連れて行ってくれて、沖縄独特の食材を買うことができたので、毎日沖縄料理を楽しめました(基本自炊の宿なので)。

なぜ最高の評価にならなかったか?
それは梅雨のスコールのような雨で、今帰仁城跡観光を断念したから^^;
次の機会にはまたお願いして、リベンジします❢

I challenged myself with my mother in her 60s, and although I had concerns about our physical stamina, the guide taught us walking tips and made sure we took adequate breaks, allowing us to reach the summit. We also learned various things, such as why the Yakusugi trees live so long, and we took many photos, which made the trekking experience much more enjoyable. We were blessed with good weather, and the view from Taiko Rock still excites me when I think about it.

Since the hiking trail is not as well-maintained as Mount Fuji's and there were puddles even on sunny days, I was glad I brought hiking boots. Additionally, trekking poles were a great help for my mother both going up and down. (Although there were no available plans with gear rental, we were able to borrow them from a rental shop near the airport.)

We created the best memories of a mother-daughter trip. Thank you to our guide, Mr. Manabe, and the three women in our group who matched our pace.

We took photos in front of a rare waterfall that looked different from usual ones. We also enjoyed paddling back in the canoe. In the afternoon, we were able to land on Barasu Island, which we had given up on, and at two snorkeling spots, we saw wonderful coral reefs and tropical fish. Ryusei was cheerful and attentive throughout, which made us feel really safe and able to enjoy ourselves. For those worried about the weather, I highly recommend this tour as you can have a great time even in the rain!

出発前日に潮位の関係でバラス島上陸が難しいかもしれないとのご連絡を頂き、また、天気予報も雨だったので正直、少しがっかりした気持ちでの参加でした。当日はフェリーで西表島へ向かう途中から雨。お迎えの車内で説明を聞き、雨の中カヌーがスタート。50代女3人旅で、カヌーも3人乗り。皆初体験で不安がありましたが、ガイドのりゅうせい君が丁寧に説明して下さり、次第にコツを掴み、マングローブの森の中を進む事が出来ました。滝までのトレッキングは、雨で増水した川を横切ったりとスリル満点の中滝に到着。普段の滝とは様子が違うレアな滝の前で写真撮影。帰りのカヌーも楽しく漕ぎました。午後のシュノーケリングは、諦めていたバラス島にも上陸出来、2カ所のポイントで、素晴らしい珊瑚礁と熱帯魚を見ることが出来ました。りゅうせい君が終始明るく細かく声をかけてくれたので、本当に安心して楽しむ事が出来ました。天候で悩んでる方には雨でも全く心配なく楽しめるツアーなので、オススメしたいです！
