I thought I would go on my own, but I couldn't visit so many places. The weather was great, and I was lucky to see Mount Yotei without a single cloud from the car window. The time allocation at each location was generally good. However, when you take the ropeway up to Mount Usu at Showa Shinzan, there isn't enough time, and you won't be able to have lunch. It might be a good idea to bring some light snacks. There were still few tourists, which was nice. The autumn leaves were beautiful everywhere, making it a lovely season. At the end, Lake Shikotsu had an early sunset, creating a beautiful scene as the day came to a close. I'm thinking it would be nice to visit in a different season as well.

自分で行こうと思うと、こんなに沢山回れません。お天気にも恵まれて、途中、車窓から雲一つ無い羊蹄山まで見れて、ラッキーでした。各地の時間配分もだいたい良くて。ただ昭和新山はロープウェイで有珠山に登ると時間が足りなくて、昼食が食べられなくなります。何か軽食を持って行くと良いかもしれません。まだ観光客も少なくて良かったです。どこも紅葉が綺麗でいい季節でした。最後の支笏湖は日が暮れるのが早いため、サンセットとちょうど重なり美しい風景で幕を下ろしました。また違う季節に行ってみるのもいいなと思ってます。

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the starry sky due to the cloudy weather, but even without that, the tour was very rich in content, and Mr. Arai's guidance was excellent! We encountered many unique creatures that can only be found in Ishigaki Island, in places that we couldn't have accessed without a local guide. I was especially moved when we saw the coconut crab! Other sightings included an owl, fireflies, a stick insect, a giant toad, tiny Japanese white-eyes, and crabs. I think this tour is enjoyable for both children and adults.

残念ながら曇り空で星空は見ることができませんでしたが、それ抜きでもツアーの内容はとてもこく、また、新井さんのガイドは最高でした！
現地の方の案内無しでは行くことができない場所で、石垣島ならでの生き物に沢山出会えました。特にヤシガニを見れた時は感動でした‼︎ 他にはフクロウ、ホタル、ナナフシ、巨大なヒキガエル、極小のメジロ、蟹など。子どもから大人まで楽しめるツアーだと思います。

This was my first time participating in an activity like this, and it was quite a valuable experience. The canoeing was great, but the cave experience was even more wonderful than I had imagined. I thought it might be a bit tough given my age, but in the end, I had a truly fantastic day. I also want to thank the staff for their very careful guidance and for taking photos of all the participants.

今回アクティブティの参加は自身初めてだったのですがかなり貴重な体験をさせてもらいました。
カヌーはもとより鍾乳洞体験は想像以上素晴らしく年齢的にややキツイかもと思いましたが終わってみたらとても素晴らしい一日が過ごせました。
またスタッフ方々がとても丁寧に案内してくれて、それと参加者全員の写真も撮っていただきありがとうございました。

It was my first time photographing the starry sky, and the guide provided specific poses, which made me feel at ease during the shoot! Not only did I get to see the beautiful night sky, but there was also wonderful background music, creating a fantastic atmosphere for the photography session that I really enjoyed. At the end, the guide also recommended some great places, and I would definitely love to participate again. Thank you very much! 😊

I had a great time.
At first, I had booked a tour that included Barasu Island, but it was changed due to the weather.
We started the day with a cave tour, where we ventured into the darkness for a unique experience.
During the kayaking adventure, it felt extraordinary to paddle gracefully through the mangroves, which is something special to Iriomote Island.
We were also able to walk to a waterfall.

In the afternoon, we switched to canyoning instead of Barasu Island.
Jumping into the river from high places and climbing rocks against the current was so much fun.
My partner was especially thrilled!

Our guide, Konaka, was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot, making the tour engaging.
Additionally, he was fluent in English, so my partner was happy to have various conversations.

We also took many photos, which became wonderful memories.

I would love to request this again when I visit Iriomote Island.
I definitely want to have a rematch at Barasu Island!

すごく楽しかったです。
初めはバラス島とセットのツアーを予約しておりましたが、天候により変更となりました。
朝から鍾乳洞ツアーで、真っ暗なところまで進んでいきはじめての体験ができました。
カヤック探検では、西表島ならではという感じでマングローブの中を優雅に漕いで行くのが非日常的に感じました。
滝まで歩いても行けました。

お昼からはバラス島から変更となった
キャディオニングをしました。
高いところ川へ飛び込んだり、逆流の中岩を登ったりと
すごく楽しかったです。
特にパートナーはすごく喜んでいました！

ガイドのコナカさんは、知識もすごくて、たくさん教えていただき、飽きのないツアーでした。
また、英語も堪能でパートナーはいろいろお話を聞くことができて、喜んでいました。

写真もたくさん取っていただいて、
すごくいい思い出になりました。

また西表島に行った時はお願いしたいです。
ぜひ、バラス島のリベンジしたいです！

They picked us up at the hotel, and there were about 10 people in our group. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, so the stargazing tour was canceled, and we only had the jungle tour. In the jungle, we saw over 10 coconut crabs, as well as rare hermit crabs and a habu snake. We went out to the beach, but again, we couldn't see the stars, so we had some free time. After a while, we headed back and returned to the hotel by 9 PM. Overall, I was satisfied, but since the stargazing tour was canceled and the tour was shorter, I would have liked to request a refund.

ホテルへ迎えに来てくれて、4組10人ほどでのツアーでした。天気はあいにくの曇りで、星空ツアーはキャンセルになりジャングルツアーのみとなりました。ジャングルではヤシガニが10匹超いて、あとは希少なヤドカリ、ハブなど見ることができました。浜辺へと出ましたが、やはり星空は見えず、フリータイムとなりました。ある程度経過したところで、帰路につき、21時にはホテルに帰宅となりました。概ね満足ですが、星空ツアーがキャンセルでツアーが短くなった分返金をお願いしたかったです。

Due to sea conditions, we couldn't land on Barasu Island, so we changed our plans to canyoning and mangrove SUP.

I quietly came on an island-hopping trip while the COVID situation has calmed down. This tour felt incredibly fulfilling, lasting much longer than just one day. I was able to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island! (They also have COVID measures in place, and being in nature allows for social distancing, so it's safe.) We saw many creatures and plants, and even though it was the end of October, the weather was great and the temperature was just right.

Canyoning involves playing in the river, so the water temperature was lower than the sea and felt cold at first, but they provided wetsuits, so it was fine! We jumped in together, got splashed by waterfalls, and slid down natural slides, experiencing something extraordinary.

For the mangrove SUP, even beginners receive thorough instructions at the start, so you can ride with confidence. We leisurely toured the mangrove area on the SUP, which was incredibly relaxing and had great healing effects. The goal was a waterfall! We also saw many plants and creatures, including Sagari-bana.

Lastly, I want to thank Connie from Pipi, our guide. She was experienced, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. I don't think we would have had as much fun without her as our guide! Thank you so much. I want to visit Iriomote Island again!

※海況の影響で、バラス島上陸×だったので、キャニオリング＋マングローブSUPに変更しました。

コロナが収まってるうちに…と、ひっそりと離島めぐり旅行にきました。
こちらのツアーは、1日とは思えないぐらい長く感じる、充実したものでした。西表島の大自然満喫できました♬（コロナ対策もされてるし、大自然なので密避けれますよ笑）
生き物や植物も沢山見れて、10月末でしたがお天気もよく気温もほど良くでした^ ^

キャニオリングは川遊びなので、海よりも水温が低く初めは冷たく感じましたが、ウェットスーツを貸して頂いたので大丈夫でした！
みんなで飛び込みしたり滝に打たれたり天然の滑り台で滑ったりと、非日常な体験できます( ＾∀＾)

マングローブSUPは初めての人でも始めにしっかりレクチャーしてくれるので安心して乗れます。
マングローブ地帯をゆっくりSUPで観光でき、ヒーリング効果抜群でリラックスできました。ゴールは滝！他にもサガリバナ等の沢山の植物や生き物を見ることができました。

最後に、今回ガイドして下さったpipiのコニーさん、経験豊富、博識、トークも面白くて、コニーさんがガイドじゃなかったらここまで楽しく遊べなかったと思います！
本当にありがとうございました。また西表島遊びにきたいです(^O^)

The day we had been looking forward to arrived, but unfortunately it was cloudy. The photographer worked hard to take pictures, even stitching together shots through breaks in the clouds, and patiently stayed with us beyond the scheduled time, hoping to capture beautiful photos. They were a wonderful photographer. While the starry sky was visible to the eye, it’s not easy to capture it beautifully on a smartphone, making it hard to convey to others. But now I can proudly show these to everyone!

楽しみにして迎えた当日が生憎の曇り。
雲の切れ目を縫って写真を一生懸命撮ってくださったり、
もう少し待てば綺麗に撮れるかも、、と時間オーバーしても粘り強く綺麗に写真が撮れるまで付き合って下さいました。
素晴らしいカメラマンさんでした。
星空は目で見えても、もちろんスマホで綺麗に撮れるわけもないので、なかなか人に伝えづらいですよね。でもこれで皆んなに自慢できるなぁ。

In the morning, we went canyoning, and in the afternoon, we visited the mangroves. Thanks to our guide, Connie, I had an amazing time on my first visit to Iriomote Island! We also went to a recommended restaurant for lunch, and it was incredibly delicious. It was a wonderful day that made me want to come back to Iriomote Island again! Thank you very much!

I never imagined it would be so easy to travel from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. In Shirakawa-go, I felt like I was seeing an old Japanese landscape. It seems that there are few people actually living in each of the gassho-zukuri houses, but I appreciate the efforts of everyone who works to preserve such scenery. Perhaps due to the decline in COVID-19 infections, there were many students on school trips, and I hope that at least some of them can feel a bit of Japan's history and beauty.

In contrast to Shirakawa-go, Gokayama has a tranquil atmosphere, and I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness of the air.

金沢から白川郷と五箇山にこんなに簡単に行けるとは想像していませんでした。白川郷では古い日本の原風景を見た感じがしました。それぞれの合掌造りの民家では実際に住んでいる人は少ないらしいですが、こういう風景を守っていく皆さんの努力に感謝です。コロナ感染が下火になったせいか、修学旅行の生徒が多く、彼らのなかで少しでも日本の歴史、良さを感じとれる生徒がいたら良いと思います。
五箇山は白川郷と対照的に静寂な空気が漂い、空気のおいしさを満喫しました。

At Saijo-Guinokuchi, it was very disappointing that the main point, the triangular rock, was off-limits to avoid crowds. Given the timing, it can't be helped, but I would have liked to see that information included in the tour details. I would like to visit again. At the Gangala Valley, the guide provided a fun tour. I learned that it is also a valuable site from an archaeological perspective.

斎場御獄では、「密」を避けるため一番のポイント三角岩が立入禁止でとても残念でした　時期的に仕方無いでしょうが、それならばその旨の案内をツアーに記載してほしかったです。
改めて行ってみたいです。
ガンガラーの谷は、ガイドさんに楽しく案内して頂きました。考古学上でも貴重な場所である事を知りました。

Arriving early at the meeting place, we found ourselves with a private tour for just the two of us! It was a fun tour while chatting with our guide. In Shirakawa-go, the guide showed us a hidden photo spot with traditional gassho-zukuri architecture, and we were able to take beautiful pictures. The meals were delicious, and since it was just the two of us and the places were not crowded, we could enjoy sightseeing smoothly. We finished our sightseeing and arrived at the station an hour earlier than scheduled. Our driver was also a kind and tall wonderful person. This luxurious private tour was very satisfying.

集合場所に早めに到着すると、なんと二人だけの貸し切り！
ガイドの方と雑談しながらのたのしいツアーでした。
白川郷ではガイドさんに穴場の合掌造りのフォトスポットを教えていただき、綺麗な写真が撮れました。
お食事も美味しく、どこも空いていたし、ふたりということもあって、サクサクと観光が出来、満足するまで観光したのに予定時間より1時間早く駅に到着でした。
運転手さんも親切な高身長のステキな方でした。
貸し切りの贅沢ツアー、大満足でした。

Since my flight on the last day was in the late afternoon, I hadn't decided what to do for the day, so I used this charter taxi service. The charter taxi course offered by the travel agency was only for four hours, and I thought I would arrive at the airport too early, plus it was more expensive than I expected. So, I searched on VELTRA, which I sometimes used for overseas travel, and found this service.

I chose the five-hour course and picked some attractions in Ishigaki Island that I hadn't visited yet. After making a reservation, I received a reply saying it might be difficult, so I exchanged messages through VELTRA a few times to refine the plan.

When I actually used the service, the female driver was very kind and had experience as a bus guide, so she was very knowledgeable and kept the conversation going, making it not only enjoyable but also she worked hard to take us around. I thought it would be impossible to go to the northernmost point of Ishigaki Island, the Hirakubo Lighthouse, which I hadn't requested, but she made it possible, and I was very satisfied.

We arrived at the airport right on time, without any excess or shortage. I recommend this service for those who want to efficiently explore the island without renting a car.

最終日の飛行機が午後遅い時間だったので1日何をするか決まっていなかったところ、この貸し切りタクシーを利用しました。
旅行社のオプションで示された貸し切りタクシーのコースが四時間までしかなく、空港に早く着きすぎるのと思ったより高かったので、海外旅行で時々使っていたVELTRAで検索してみたところ、このサービスを見つけました。
５時間コースを選択し、それまでに行っていなかった石垣島の見どころをピックアップして予約したら、すぐにここは難しいかも知れないという返信が来たのでVELTRA経由で何回かやりとりしてプランを練りました。
実際に利用してみると親切な女性ドライバーでバスガイドの経験もあってとっても知識豊富で話が途切れずとても楽しいだけでなく、一所懸命回ってくれて、とても行けないだろうと思ってリクエストしなかった石垣島最北端の平久保崎灯台まで頑張ればいけるかもしれないと実際に行ってくれて、大満足でした。
時間にも過不足なくぴったり空港に着きました。
レンタカー借りたりしない方で効率よく島を巡りたい方にはお勧めです。

I started with SUP! I was worried about whether I could stand on the board, but thanks to the guidance from Nakamura-san, I was able to do it. At first, we practiced freely in the calm bay and took some photos, and then we ventured a little outside the bay to feel the difference in the waves. By that time, I had gotten used to it, so it was really enjoyable.

After that, we moved to Shinjo Beach to look for sea turtles and went snorkeling. Luckily, we encountered about 4 to 5 turtles, both big and small. After seeing the turtles, we went to see Nemo and the fish living in the coral, and we had a great time before returning to the beach.

You can have photos taken while SUPing and snorkeling, so it's fine to go hands-free. I was very satisfied to have photos taken with the sea turtles too! The instructors are very kind and teach you well, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind! I highly recommend it.

最初にSUPをしました！SUPの上で立てるかどうか不安でしたが、レクチャーしてくれた中村さんの指導のかいあって立つことができました。最初は波の穏やかな湾内で自由に練習したり、写真を撮って貰ったりして、その後湾内から少し外に出て波の違いを感じます。だいぶ慣れた後なので楽しくできました。
その後、新城海岸へ移動してウミガメさんを探してシュノーケルをします。ラッキーなことに大きい子や小さい子4〜5匹くらいに会えました。
ウミガメさんを見てから珊瑚に住むニモやお魚を見に行きたっぷり楽しんで海岸へ戻りました。
SUPとシュノーケルの写真は撮って貰えるので手ぶらで行っても大丈夫です。ウミガメさんと一緒にも撮って貰えて大満足です♬
インストラクターの方が親切に教えてくれるので安心して楽しむことができます！オススメです。

Since it was a weekday and this time of year, there were only about 10 participants on the tour in a large bus, so we were able to use the seats comfortably.

Both the driver and the foreign guide were kind and friendly, making for a fun day.

The amount of time spent at each sightseeing spot was just right, neither too long nor too short.

I was very satisfied to be able to tour the sights for this price.

バスの座席もゆったり使えました。

運転手、外人ガイドさん　両名とも親切で愛想よく
1日楽しく過ごせました。

各、観光地の滞在時間も多くも少なくもなくちょうどよい時間割でした。

この価格で、1日観光地巡りできたので

This tour started with a ferry ride from Ishigaki Island. Our guide, Seiya, was a refreshing young man. During the drive, he shared various stories with us. I was surprised to hear that there were peacocks along the way, as I had no idea they existed in the wild. I hoped to see one in nature, but unfortunately, we didn’t encounter any peacocks. I look forward to seeing a flock next time I visit.

Before long, we arrived at the jungle! We changed into rubber boots, grabbed flashlights, and sprayed insect repellent all over ourselves, ready to go! Once we entered the jungle, we were welcomed by numerous plants and insects. While learning about the different types of plants, I spotted a hermit crab walking with a white shell on its back as we descended a steep slope. As we continued walking, we found a path leading to the beach. When we reached the beach, we were greeted by a beautiful white sandy shore. As we walked along the beach with our lights, we discovered a baby newt. It was so cute that a boy who was also on the tour and I just stood there watching it. The tiny newt was perched on a shell, looking around curiously, as if welcoming us.

After that, we all turned off our lights and looked up at the sky, excited to see the stars. However, all we could see were clouds. There were a few stars peeking through the gaps in the clouds. Unfortunately, it wasn’t completely clear, so we couldn’t enjoy a full starry sky. While I understood that nature can be unpredictable, I had hoped to see a sky full of stars like the Milky Way, so I felt quite disappointed. I accepted this as part of the experience and, while hoping for the clouds to clear, I looked forward to what was next.

We then moved to a rocky area, guided by Seiya. As we climbed up, suddenly we heard Seiya exclaim, "There it is!" At first, I didn’t understand what he meant, but then I saw it—there was a coconut crab! It was nestled between the rocks, facing us with its round, black eyes. It was purple and had its rear end resting on the rocks. I was impressed that he found it. We all gathered around the coconut crab for observation and a photo session. However, the crab seemed shy and didn’t come out, retreating deeper into the rocks. We waited for it to reappear, but it remained hidden, making it a challenging wait. Then, Seiya called out again! He spotted another coconut crab climbing high on the rocks, leisurely walking where we couldn’t reach. Still, we didn’t give up and patiently waited. Seiya even ventured further in search of it, sometimes climbing higher rocks. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet it again. However, I was glad to have encountered the baby newt, sand crabs, and hermit crabs. It was also quite lucky to see the beautiful purple coconut crab, which is rare during this season. It truly felt like a stroke of good fortune. The sight of the coconut crab with its impressive claws was thrilling.

This too is fate. I couldn’t see the coconut crab up close, but I was very satisfied and moved by Seiya’s efforts to find it. Thank you, Seiya.

On the way back, we found firefly larvae and observed their glowing moments together! Some people spotted them quickly, while others took longer, making it quite the adventure. We repeatedly stared into the darkness, and finally, everyone got to see them, which was very moving. Seiya also showed us larvae on the leaves. It was my first time seeing firefly larvae, and I didn’t know they could glow even in their larval stage, so it was a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.

On the way back, I wondered what we were stopping for, and Seiya said we would get out here. He asked us to be quiet and then pointed out an owl perched on a power line. I was amazed that he could spot an owl while driving. Seiya’s wild instincts are incredible (sorry for saying that). But really, what remarkable insight he has! I was once again moved by his abilities. I had so much fun in various places.

石垣島観光フェリーから始まった今回のツアー。
ガイドさんのせーやさんの爽やか少年。車内から色々お話しながらのドライブ。道中にクジャクが居るとの事でそれにはびっくりでした。クジャクがいるなんて全く無知でしたから自然界のクジャクがみれたらいいなと、しかしながら、クジャクにはお会いできませんでした。また、来たときはクジャクの群れを見れたらいいなと思いました。
そうこうしているうちに、ジャングルに到着！長靴に履き替えて、懐中電灯を持ち、虫除けスプレーを全身に撒き散らし、いざ！！ジャングルの中に入ると沢山の植物や沢山の虫さん達に出迎えられ。。。植物の種類を教えてもらいながら、急な斜面を降りる途中、白い宿を背に歩いているヤドカリを発見。また、歩くと海岸へと続く道に。。。海岸に行くと白い砂浜が現れました。砂浜でライトを照らしながら歩くと、イモリの赤ちゃんを発見。。。可愛い過ぎて一緒にツアーに参加していた男の子とじっと見ていました。。。小さくて可愛いイモリの赤ちゃんは貝の上に乗って、キョロキョロとこちらを見ていて、お出迎えしてくれている感じでした。
その後、皆んなでライトを消して空を見上げて見ました。どんな星空なんだろと楽しみでした。しかし、見えたのは雲。少し離れた雲の隙間からの星。残念ながらスッキリとは晴れていなかったのて、満点の星空観測とはならなかったです。自然には逆らえませんが、天の川の様な満点の星を見れたらいいなと、ツアーに参加するまで思っていたので、とても残念でなりませんでした。これも仕方ないとあきらめて、いや、雲が晴れる事を願いながら次への期待に胸を膨らませていました。
そのまま、場所を移動して岩場の方へガイドのせーやさんが案内してくれました。上がって行くと、突然ガイドのせーやさんの声。「居ました！！」。えっ⁈何が⁇と一瞬分からなかったのですが、居たのです。そこに。。ヤシガニが！！岩場に挟まれているヤシガニが！！こちらを向いていました。目が黒くてまん丸。。。くりっくり。紫色していました。お尻が岩場に落ちていました。良く見つけたなと関心しました。それから皆んなでヤシガニを囲みヤシガニ観察と写真撮影会が始まりました。でもでも、ヤシガニはシャイなのか、こちらに出て来ては貰えずにSPのガードが硬くで姿を見せては貰えず岩場の奥へと入り込んでいきました。そのあとも皆んなでヤシガニの出待ちをしていましたが、やはりSPのガードが素晴らしく硬く、困難な時間が過ぎ去りました。と、またまた、ガイドせーやさんの声！！高い高い岩場を登っているヤシガニを発見。手が届かない所でのんびりと歩いていました。それでも、諦めてたまるものかと、根気よく出待ち。ガイドのせーやさんもさらに奥迄進み探してくれました。時には高い岩場に登ってみたり。。しかし、残念ながら出会えずでした。でもでもでも、イモリの赤ちゃんや砂ガニや、ヤドカリに出会えて良かったです。それに、この時期はなかなか少ないとの事でしたが、綺麗な紫色のヤシガニに出会えたのが、本当にラッキーでした。まさに大安です。岩場にはたったヤシガニ。凶暴なハサミが迫力あり感動しました。
これもまた、運命です。次回に期待します。
高い岩場にいたヤシガニは近くで見る事は出来ませんでしたが、一生懸命探してくれたので十分満足ですし、感動しました。

戻る道のりではホタルの幼虫を見つけて、光る瞬間を皆んなで観察！！直ぐに見えた人、なかなか見えない人とこれまた大変。何度となくジーッと見てはホタルを探し、またまたジーッと暗闇を見て、ようやく皆んながみれて、感動しました。また、葉についている幼虫を見せてくれました。ホタルの幼虫は初めてみました。幼虫でも、光を放つなんて知らなかったので、とてもいい体験ができました。本当にありがとうございます。
帰り道、車を止めて何をするのかと思っていたら、ここで降ります。ここから静かにして見てと。。何かと思えば電線に止まっていたフクロウまで見つけてくれてフクロウを見る事も出来ました。運転しながら電線に止まっているフクロウを見つけ出すなんて、本当に驚きでしかありません。野生的なせーやさん。（こんな事言ってごめんなさい）でも。凄いです。なんて素晴らしい洞察力の持ち主なんだろうかと、またまた感動でした。色んなところで沢山楽しませてもらいました。

We participated with our 5-year-old child. Unfortunately, we couldn't see many stars, but we were able to see coconut crabs and firefly larvae. We walked down a dark path with flashlights, and our child was very excited and enjoyed the exploration. It was thrilling to walk through the jungle for the first time with a flashlight in hand, and we had a lot more fun than we expected. The instructor was also very polite and kind, which was really great! We definitely want to participate again next time. Thank you for today!

5歳の子供と3人で参加しました。残念ながら星はあまり見られませんでしたが、ヤシガニやホタルの幼虫を見ることが出来ました。真っ暗な道を懐中電灯で照らして進んで行くのですが、子供も探検気分でとても楽しんでいました。ジャングル初体験って言いながら懐中電灯片手にジャングル道を進んで行くのは興奮で予想以上に楽しんでいて満足のツアーでした。インストラクターのお兄さんも丁寧で親切に対応してくれて本当によかったです！
次回も是非参加したいと思います。ありがとうございました今日

Yuki, our guide, was very kind and cute, and just talking with her was already a lot of fun! She properly guided us during the SUP and took beautiful photos for us! We also got to see a lot of sea turtles! The current was strong, but she made sure we were safe while proceeding, so I felt secure swimming. When I come back to Miyako Island, I will definitely come back to do SUP with the lovely Yuki!

In addition to the fees, there are costs for lunch, entrance fees, and the cable car. The ferry fare from Takamatsu is expensive. The content was good, but the guide's insistence on buying souvenirs was off-putting. In the end, I ended up buying something.

料金以外にランチ代入場料ケーブルカー代などがかかります。
高松からはフェリー代が高いです。
内容は良かったですが、ガイドさんのお土産買わせようビームが鼻に付きました。結局買ってしまいます。

After consulting with the local staff, I learned that riding the Blue Course after 5 PM allows you to enjoy the night views. So, I followed the staff's recommendation and enjoyed a full day of bus travel in the order of Red Course → Green Course → Blue Course. I've been living in Tokyo for a few years now, but seeing the cityscape from the bus always brings new discoveries, and it was a lot of fun. The Red Course is great for first-time visitors as it includes famous tourist spots like Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa. Personally, the night view of Tokyo Tower from the Blue Course was the most impressive; it was incredibly beautiful and moving. I had such a great time that I want to ride it again when friends from the countryside come to Tokyo!

現地のスタッフと相談したら、午後5時以降にブルーコースに乗ると夜景を楽しめるということだったので、レッドコース⇨グリーンコース⇨ブルーコースというスタッフの勧めた順番で一日中バス旅を楽しめました。東京にはもう数年前から住んでいますが、やっぱりバスの上から街並みを見ると色々な発見があり、とても楽しかったです。レッドコースは東京スカイツリーや浅草等の有名な観光地を見られるので、東京を初めて訪ねる人にはとても良いコースだと思います。個人的には、ブルーコースで見られた東京タワーの夜景が1番印象的で、とても綺麗で感激しました。すごく楽しかったので、地方からお友達が東京に来たら、もう一度乗りたいと思っています！

You can efficiently tour the highlights of Kyoto. When exploring on your own, there are often things you might not understand, so the audio guidance through earphones was great. The view is also higher than a regular bus, allowing for plenty of photo opportunities. However, the service runs once every hour, so if you get off, you need to time your return carefully to avoid a long wait. The weather can be a factor, so it's best to dress warmly when it's cold. The wind can be quite chilly, so be cautious.

京都の見どころを回ってくれるので、
効率よく観光が出来ます。
個人で回るとよくわからない事もあるので、
イヤホンで聞くガイダンスもよかったです。
目線も普通のバスより高いので、
写真もたくさん撮れました。
ただ、運行間隔が1時間に1本のペースなので、
一度降りるとタイミングを合わせないとかなり待ちます。
お天気に左右されるので、
寒い時はしっかり防寒した方がいいです。
風がかなり冷たいので、注意した方がいいですね。

I signed up for the half-day morning course, and on the day of the tour, it was just the two of us and one woman in a passenger car. The female driver and guide was very knowledgeable and slowed down to explain the scenery along the way. I was very satisfied.

午前半日コースを申込み、当日は乗用車で私たち2名と女性1人でのツアーでした。
ドライバー兼ガイドの女性は、知識豊富で、走行途中の景色もスピードを落として説明してくれました。とても満足でした。

It was my first bus tour, and I had a great time. I would like to use it again when I travel in the future!

On the first day of my unplanned trip to Miyako Island, I couldn't decide on any plans due to the forecast of cloudy weather and rain for my two-night, three-day stay. Since it was cloudy on the first day, I didn't expect to see the stars, but I thought it might still be fun to participate in the night animal search.

I couldn't rent a car, so I requested a shuttle service, which was very affordable and appreciated. It was quite dark at the starting point, to the extent that I wondered if I would even find the entrance if I had rented a car.

It seemed to have rained in the morning, and I encountered many large coconut crabs unique to Miyako Island. I was told they are incredibly delicious, even tastier than lobster! They looked a bit like Baltan aliens and were somewhat grotesque. There were also many land crabs and even some small fireflies! The basic activity was a walk through the park, but it was quite dark and overgrown, giving it a jungle-like feel. Even when it rained, the natural vegetation provided some shelter.

Since it was cloudy, I couldn't see the stars, so I spent some time at Octopus Park, which has a view of the sea. I wished there were other options available when the stars weren't visible.

I felt like I was on a tour that took me back to my childhood, giving me a sense of exploration! Depending on the weather, I think it would be a great tour if the stars were visible! I plan to try again next time! Miyako Island is truly a captivating place!

ノープランで宮古島に遊びに来た初日。滞在予定の二泊三日は、曇りや雨予報で、プランを決められませんでした。初日は曇り空でしたので、星空は見れないなーと期待してませんでしたが、夜の動物探しだけでも面白いかなーと期待して参加しました。
レンタカーが借りれなかったため送迎をお願いしました。こちら格安でしたので有難かったです。
また、仮にレンタカーでも入口分かるかなーというくらい真っ暗な場所でのスタートでした。

午前中雨だったようで、宮古島特有のたくさんの大きなヤシガニに出会えました。食べるとめっちゃおいしいとのことを教えてもらいました。イセエビよりもおいしいとのこと！見た目はバルタン星人ぽく、ややグロテスクでしたｗ。オカガニ？もたくさんいました。あと、ととろの傘とか。小さな蛍も見れました！公園の中を基本散策なんですが、真っ暗なのと、結構草が生い茂っているので、ジャングルっぽい！雨が降っても、多少なら、天然の草木が守ってくれます。

やはり曇り空だったので、星が見れず、海の見渡せるタコ公園で時間をつぶしました。星空見れないときは、他に何かオプションがあるといいなと思いました。

子供時代にかえれるツアーだなと思います。探検してる感じです！
天候次第ですが、星空が見れたらお得なツアーだと思います！
次の機会でリベンジします！それくらい、宮古島は魅了される場所でした！

I have always wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, so I joined this tour.
It spans three prefectures: Kanazawa, Gifu, and Toyama.
Before COVID, more than half of the participants were international tourists, and the tour had about 40 people. When I participated, there were only 4 of us, making it almost a private tour.
The itinerary was reasonable, and I recommend it for anyone who wants to visit Shirakawa-go!

以前から白川郷に訪れたいと思い参加しました。
金沢→岐阜→富山と三県にまたがるツアーになっています。
コロナ前は半分以上が海外からの観光客で40人くらいのツアーだったそうです。私が参加した時は4人とほぼ貸切状態でした。
工程としては無理がなく、白川郷に訪れてみたい人にはオススメです！

I'm glad I participated.

Since I can't drive, tours like this are really helpful. Our guide, Mr. Kuroda, shared interesting facts about the areas we passed through, so the journey was never boring. According to Mr. Kuroda, Shirakawa-go used to have many foreign visitors, but since the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems to be mostly empty with only Japanese tourists. The day I participated was also quite empty, likely because it was a weekday. As a Japanese tourist, it becomes difficult to enjoy when there are too many people, but I hope that travel restrictions to Japan will be lifted and it will become lively again.

The fact that people have continuously lived in Shirakawa-go and Gokayama fills me with respect for those who have lived there. I believe winters are still tough, but they must have been even harder in the past. The gassho-zukuri architecture is a testament to human ingenuity, designed to make life a bit easier in such a snowy and challenging environment.

The hand-baked rice cracker experience felt a bit lonely as it only involved cooking two shrimp crackers, but I was glad to be able to buy souvenirs from Toyama.

自分は車が運転できないので、このようなツアーは助かります。
ガイドの黒田さんが道中の土地に関する豆知識を披露してくださるので道中も飽きませんでした。
黒田さんによると白川郷は外国のお客さんが多かったのですが、コロナ禍以降日本人の観光客だけでガラガラのようです。
私が参加した日も、平日だったのもあると思いますがかなり空いていました。
日本人の観光客としては人が多くなってしまうと行きづらくなりますが、日本への渡航制限が解除されてまたにぎわってほしいと思います。

白川郷も五箇山もずっと人が住んでいるというのは、住んできた方々に尊敬の念を抱いてしまいます。今でも冬は大変だと思いますが、昔はもっと大変だったのだと思います。合掌造りも雪が多く大変な環境の中で少しでも生きやすくするための人間の知恵なんだな、と感じました。

手焼きせんべい体験はエビせんべい2枚に火を通すだけで少し寂しく感じましたが、富山のお土産をお土産を買えてよかったです。

It was cloudy, so the views of the ocean-related scenery, such as Kouri Island and the coastline, were disappointing, but there's nothing we can do about the weather. However, overall, I was satisfied because I was able to easily visit the tourist spots. ^_^

曇っていた為、楽しみにしていた古宇利島や海岸線など海関係の景色は残念な感じになってしまいましたが、天気ばかりは仕方ありません。ですが全体的を通して観光スポットを手軽に回る事が出来たので満足しています^_^

We participated as a couple. I think the weather was good. Unfortunately, we could only see the coconut crab's head peeking out from its hole, but we were able to witness the emergence of cicadas and see wild fireflies during this time (mid-October).

After enjoying the jungle night tour, we went to the beach. The moon was bright (close to a full moon), so while the stars weren't completely visible, we were able to enjoy stargazing to some extent. On the beach, we discovered countless hermit crabs and crabs.

During the tour, our guide shared stories about life after moving to Ishigaki Island and explained about the local flora and fauna, which was enjoyable. Thank you very much.

夫婦二人で参加させていただきました。天候は良かったと思います。
ヤシガニは残念ながら、穴の中から頭が出ているかどうかくらいしか見れませんでしたが、セミの羽化と、この時期(10月中旬)に野生のホタルを見ることができました。
ジャングルナイトツアーを楽しんだあとは、海辺に行きました。月が明るかった(満月に近い)のもあって、星は満天とまではいきませんでしたが、そこそこ星空観察を楽しむことはできました。浜辺では、ヤドカリとカニを数えきれないほど発見できました。
ツアー中、ガイドさんの石垣島に移住されてからの暮らしや動植物の説明もしてくれて楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。

We ventured down a pitch-black natural path with flashlights, spotting hermit crabs, crabs, and lizards along the way. Since it was nature, it was quite difficult to find coconut crabs, but our guide worked hard to search for them, and we were able to see one after all. Even during our car rides, the guide was quick to spot owls and frogs, and it was delightful to see them trying to show us various creatures. It was my first night safari, and I enjoyed it even as an adult! I would love to participate again.

観光客では入れないような真っ暗な自然の道を懐中電灯を持って進み、その道中でヤドカリやカニ、トカゲを見つけました。自然相手なので、ヤシガニはなかなか見つかりませんでしたが、ガイドさんが一生懸命探してくれ、なんとか見ることが出来ました。また、車移動の時でもガイドさんはフクロウやカエルを目ざとく見つけ、私達に色々な生き物を見せてくれようとする姿が嬉しかったです。ナイトサファリは初めてでしたが大人でも楽しめました！また参加したいです。
