My husband and I only had a day to spend in Kyoto and we looked into day tours but most only took you to two sites. The hop on hop off bus was a great solution. It took us to all the major sites and we get to see way more in 1 day then we would have otherwise. The bus station stop by Kyoto station was easy to find and the other stations were well marked. Staff was friendly and even let us know if certain buildings were closed due to coral virus. When it started to rain we received a poncho as we were getting off the bus and the next bus we got on was enclosed. After the rain stopped we go on an open roof bus and the staff even came up to wipe down any seats that might still be wet. Totally worth it if you only have a short amount of time in Kyoto

I participated in this tour because I thought I could cover all the places I wanted to visit in Kyoto in just one day. Although Kyoto was less crowded than usual, I was able to explore at a very leisurely pace despite the packed itinerary.

There were eight people on the tour (apparently, there are usually more), and everyone except me was a foreigner. Therefore, it was noted during the reservation that "an English-speaking guide will be on board," but there was only one guide who mainly spoke in English. However, the guide was a veteran with a wealth of knowledge, and their English was easy to understand and interesting (of course, they also provided explanations in Japanese). Even though I participated alone, they took many photos for me.

My first experience in Kyoto was very satisfying!

We really enjoyed the double decker bus. The city is beautiful and we never would have had the chance to see as much as we did on our own. The staff were super amazing at the bus pick up. My son and I even got back on the bus just to ride around the city after we stopped at so many amazing shrines.
The only drawback was (and this has nothing to do with the tour company) is that most of the places were closed to visitors due to Covid-19.
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in getting a more general perspective of the city.

This time, considering the new virus, I was unsure about participating. My wife and I thought about it, but we decided to go for it. We boarded the bus in Namba, and there were about 10 people on the day of the tour. The guide was very easy to understand, providing information in both Japanese and English. We visited various attractions, and it was very quiet, allowing us to take our time exploring. I'm really glad I participated. I think this is a hidden gem during this time. It's safe and secure since it's not crowded! I would participate again if the opportunity arises. The yellow bus was very cute!

I had high expectations because the guide mentioned having nearly 20 years of experience, but when I asked questions about Yakushima or the plants, they often didn't know the answers and mostly just read what was written on the signs. The walking pace was slow, which made me even more tired. I wished they would listen to the customers' needs and adjust the speed accordingly. I felt like I could have gone on my own without a guide.

The day before, when I went to Jomon Sugi with another tour company, the guide was knowledgeable and had an interesting way of speaking, which made me feel this way even more. However, Shiratani Unsuikyo was very nice, so I'm glad I went. The path is easy as well.

ガイドさんがガイド歴が20年近くあると言っていたので期待しましたが、なにか屋久島の事や植物について質問しても分からないと答える事が多く、ほとんど看板に書いてあることをさらっと読むだけでした。歩くペースも遅く余計に疲れました。もっとお客さんのニーズを聞いてスピード調整をして欲しかったです。これならガイドなしで自分一人で行けば良かったかなと感じました。

前日に他のツアー会社で縄文杉に行った時は、知識も豊富で話も面白い素晴らしいガイドさんだったので、余計そう感じてしまいました。
ですが白谷雲水峡はとても良かったので行って良かったです。道も簡単です。

I was looking for a good way to explore Okinawa without renting a car and came across this tour. It's recommended because you can visit hard-to-reach places in a short amount of time. (Depending on your flight,) you can even use it on your last day of stay. The atmosphere at Sefa Utaki was particularly sacred and really wonderful.

Day 1
The trekking to Jomon Sugi was enriched by the tour experience. Among the various sightseeing spots, I was able to hear enjoyable stories and truly feel the nature around me. The weather was favorable from the morning, and I could see the mountains of Yakushima clearly. Since there were fewer tourists at this time, I didn't have to worry about the restrooms being crowded, and they were conveniently located for breaks, so it was not a problem. I did bring a portable toilet just in case.

Day 2
We started under a cloudy sky. By the time we reached Taiko Rock, the sun peeked through, and I was able to enjoy the scenery. There were several impressive landmarks along the way, making for a fun hike.

This was my first time in Yakushima. I participated as a solo female traveler, and it was a tour that I could fully enjoy even alone. I was able to ask the guide all the questions I wanted, and the time flew by.

縄文杉までのトレッキングは、ツアーだからこその内容が充実していました。観光名所のポイントがいくつもある中で、より楽しめる話が聞けたり、自然を肌で感じることができました♪
朝から天候に恵まれ、屋久島の山々もよく見えました。
この時期観光客も少なかったこともあり、心配していたトイレは混むこともなく、休憩とりながら、ちょうどいい場所にあったので問題なかったです。一応、簡易トイレは持っていってました。

2日目
曇り空の中スタート。太鼓岩に着く頃には晴れ間が見え、こちらも景色を満喫できました。見応えのある名所も所々あり、楽しいハイキングとなりました。

今回、初屋久島。女性一人参加しましたが、一人参加でも充分楽しめるツアーでした。ガイドさんに聞きたい話も聞けて、あっという間でした。

This bus tour was a fun and convenient way to see parts of Okinawa we couldn’t reach without a car. It picked us up right at the hotel, and then we were just along for the ride!

The guide did not speak English (as we knew), but she was very friendly and tried her best to help us. The audio guide was a bit mixed, but did provide some decent information.

We decided to pay the extra 1000 yen for lunch, and it was actually really good!

The aquarium was definitely the highlight, but the bridge was quite scenic and the pineapple park was very true to its name.

Some of the stops (Dinoland?!) were pretty surreal, but that’s part of the fun.

Driving from Naha in a rental car is a fun experience, but sometimes you just want to take a nap (dangerous!). It's nice to doze off while listening to the guide's explanations on familiar roads. I'm glad I was able to visit Kouri Island, which I've always wanted to see. Next time, I plan to stay in the northern part for the first time and would love to spend a bit more time on Kouri Island. This trip has also given me new ideas for my future travels in Okinawa. The pickled island shallots I bought at the roadside station on Kouri Island were incredibly delicious, and I'm glad I decided to get them. The guide casually recommended local specialties, like the fresh seaweed that’s only available this season, saying, "My favorite is..." which was really nice. Since I was traveling alone, I appreciated having someone to discuss what’s good and what to try. Thank you to the beautiful, serious, and kind guide.

Since I was alone, I thought it would be easier to use this bus tour rather than renting a car, and that turned out to be the right choice. However, everyone who participated in the tour mentioned that the last stop at the aquarium was unnecessary. Those who join this tour usually have no other options to visit the northernmost point and have been to Okinawa multiple times, so they have already visited the aquarium several times. Instead, I would have preferred to spend more time at Daichi Forest.

We participated in a bus tour combined with a water buffalo cart ride for two adults and two toddlers (early February). Since it was our first time and we had children with us, we chose a plan that was not too strenuous. As a result, it turned out to be a very satisfying tour.

The bus tour included about 20 minutes of free time at the star sand beach, which was enough time to take photos and play. The water buffalo cart ride only went around nearby, but I felt so relaxed by the scenery and the buffalo that I wished I could ride longer! The pace was quite slow, so the children were not scared at all.

We took the 4 PM boat back, but we had plenty of time, so we looked at the buffalo up close and strolled around the sightseeing spots (the kids were sound asleep in the stroller). The waiting area for the buffalo cart has space for strollers, there are changing tables in the restrooms, a shop, and air conditioning, so it’s perfectly fine for families with small children.

I feel positively about this tour and would like to participate in a distant island tour next time!

バス観光は星の砂の海岸で20分ほど自由時間があって写真を撮ったら遊ぶには十分な時間でした。
水牛車も近くをぐるっと回るだけですが、景色や水牛に癒されてもっと乗ってたい！！と思いました。スピードもかなりゆっくりなので子供も全く怖がりませんでした。
帰りの船16時にしましたが、かなり時間があったので水牛を近くで見たり、観光スポットを徒歩で散策しました。（子供はベビーカーで爆睡）
水牛の待合場所はベビーカーを置けますし、

I participated in this tour for the first time to visit the main attractions in Kyoto. Since it was early March, the open-top bus was cold, but they provided us with hand warmers, which helped us cope with the chill! The open design and height of the bus made it great for viewing the streets of Kyoto.

Although you can hop on and off freely for a day (24 hours), if you miss a bus, you have to wait 30 minutes, and the service is limited to 9 AM to 5 PM, which makes the actual number of rides quite few. I felt the price was a bit high. If you want to take your time exploring the tourist spots, I think it would be more efficient to use a bus or taxi for transportation.

When I was running to catch the bus and almost missed it, they waited for me, which I appreciated and felt their kindness.

During my 5-night, 6-day trip, the weather wasn't great, and I didn't get to see much of the beautiful sea. However, there was a brief moment of sunshine when we landed on Baras Island, and at the very end, I was able to see a stunning sea. Also, the photos taken by our guide were very stylish and of excellent quality. I think it's the best tour because you can experience so much in one day. At the cave, I fell quite dramatically because it was muddy from the heavy rain the day before (laughs). I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty when participating in the tour.

5泊6日の旅行中、お天気に恵まれず、あまり綺麗な海を見ることが出来ていませんでしたが、バラス島の上陸の時だけ少し晴れ間が見え、最後の最後でとても綺麗な海が見れました。また、ガイドのお兄さんが撮ってくださった写真はとてもセンスがよく画質がすごく綺麗でした。1日で色々体験できるので最高のツアーだと思います。鍾乳洞では前日が大雨だったことにより、ぬかるんでいた為、盛大にすっ転びました（笑）ツアーに参加される際は汚れても良い服装がいいと思います。

The Churaumi Aquarium was closed, so we proceeded with an alternative course. I thought the stay at each spot would be short, but it turned out to be just right and we had a great time. I think it would have been difficult to navigate a rental car in an unfamiliar area, so it was very helpful. At the Okashi Goten, everyone was given a taste of chinsuko and purple sweet potato tart, which was delightful. The guide and the bus driver were both cheerful and made the experience enjoyable. I would love to participate again if the opportunity arises. Thank you very much.

代わりのコースでの決行でした。
各スポットの滞在時間が短いかなと思ってたのですが、ちょうど良く楽しく回ることが出来ました。土地勘が無い場所でレンタカーを借りて回るのは大変だったと思うので、助かりました。御菓子御殿では、全員にちんすこうと紅芋タルトを配ってくださり嬉しかったです。
ガイドさん、バス運転者さん、お二人方ともにこやかに接してくださり楽しかったです。

It was a great experience. I have already recommended this to my coworkers who have expressed interest to visit mt Fuji. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating right after lunch. I have failed to see Mt Fuji when we got to Hakone (Lake Ashi cruise and cable car) which was THE major attraction. I wish I got to see Mount Fuji from the cable car. :( But, we cannot fight with the weather. Anyways, I took the bullet train back. Overall, I am happy. Thank you.

Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour from Tokyo with Lake Ashi Cruise & Ropeway Ride

Amazing Mt. Fuji Trip!

I was very lucky that we had a clear day during our Mt. Fuji trip so the group I was with was able to do and visit all the attractions as stated on the description except that we were only able to visit 1st station since 4th and 5th station were closed due to heavy snow. It's not a big deal though as there are still lots of chances to see the magnificent Mt. Fuji on the way. If you're planning to visit Mt Fuji during winter, make sure to layer well since its colder there compared to the city. Expect as well a long travel time from Tokyo to Mt Fuji as it's roughly 139 km away. And lastly, I highly suggest to take the option with Bullet train as it will only take you 40 mins back to Tokyo compared to 2-3 hours travel back by bus.

FYI, the bus first row (left and right) are reserved for the guide and driver#2!

Tokyo 1 Day Tour to Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine, Sumida River Cruise, and Asakusa

A must tour when you have a limited time in Tokyo!

The full day tour covered most of the attractions I want to visit in Tokyo! A must tour if you have a limited time and want to cover popular attractions.
Recommendation though for future travelers, please allot plenty of time to go the meeting point. Please consider as well Google Maps live view, its really helpful finding places in Tokyo! Honor as well the time provided by your tour guide, be back on the bus as he/she stated so you'll visit all the places on time.

FYI, the first row on the bus (left and right) are reserved for the tour guide and the 2nd driver!
