only booked it on 22nd Jan(midnight) when I was already in Okinawa. It was confirmed very quickly with details sent within 10hours.

So pickup:
Pickup was at hotel lobby(wasn’t clear on pickup point)
Bus was a little late that day, made my mom frantic and afraid that we were at the wrong pickup point. Attendance was easy and smooth.

First 2 locations:
Scenic and the time given was just perfect. There isn’t much around the area so have a good look & take photos & move on.

Lunch: I DIDN’T GET TO EAT LUNCH
lunch place was full and had no seats to accommodate more guest. There wasn’t any selection to choose lunch so I didn’t get to eat. :)))) again, there wasn’t other restaurants to eat at other than a buffet hotpot. Lunch time was about 50mins so no buffet, don’t waste money.

Churaumi:
Easy & smooth entry. Reach around 2pm
Bus was to leave at 4pm. Ok here’s what I’m ??? about:
Dolphin show was 3pm & 3.30pm(dolphin feeding) finishes at about 3.50pm. Bus Bay is 10-15mins of walk back WE RUSHED BACK. Imagine elderlies walking, it would take time quite awhile. Bus should leave at 4.15pm for guest to enjoy the shows.

Nago pineapple park:
Time should be extended by 10mins.

Overall, good experience. guide kept doing headcounts before we left just to Ensure everyone’s on board. They were very friendly too!

It was a wonderful visit to Taketomi Island with a temperature of 26°C even in winter. I signed up for the water buffalo cart tour, and after riding the cart, I rented a bicycle. This was the right choice, as I was able to take a nice ride around the West Pier and the beach, enjoying the beautiful scenery. I definitely want to visit Taketomi Island again and spend some relaxing time there.

I recommend renting a bicycle and suggest staying for as long as possible.

In January on Ishigaki Island, I was worried about the weather. However, whether it was due to good fortune or because one of the tour participants was a sunny person, I was able to enjoy the best starry sky. The stars viewed from a completely dark place without any streetlights were just like a planetarium. Before seeing the stars, I encountered a coconut crab, frogs, and a hermit crab, and on the way back, I saw an owl perched on a power line. The round trip to Taketomi Island costs about 1,400 yen, and the water buffalo cart ride is 1,500 yen, but this tour is only 2,000 yen total!

Once you receive your tickets directly at the counter, you can board the boat individually, and they provide transportation to the water buffalo cart. You can choose to return at either 4 PM or 5 PM, allowing you to stroll around Taketomi Island or rent a bicycle without feeling rushed.

If you're going to Taketomi Island, I absolutely recommend this tour. I will definitely use it again!

I was so moved when I rode it for the first time on Christmas 2018 that I invited my friends to join me on Christmas Day 2019. The weather was great, and I was perfectly prepared for the cold, but with hand warmers and blankets, I wasn't cold at all. Although it took quite a while due to traffic on the highway, I was able to slowly enjoy the most beautiful illuminated scenes that usually pass by in an instant. I was able to take great photos as well. Since it gets incredibly crowded when you actually go to Midosuji, I think viewing it from the bus is the best option. My friends loved it too, and I was glad I invited them. The couple sitting in front of me was incredibly moved.

We participated on January 2nd. Although it was the New Year, we were the only participants. There were probably only about 20 people on the mountain, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We could walk at our own pace and really appreciated the guide's explanations. I think winter is recommended since the hiking trails can get congested in the summer. I haven't done much hiking, but I had prepared to some extent, so I didn't experience any muscle soreness. It might be tough for those who don't exercise at all. It's better to have rain gear because you never know when it might rain.

This was my first trip to Kyoto. I wanted to visit famous tourist spots like Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera, and Fushimi Inari, so I booked this tour that included two of them in the route. It was great that Nijo Castle and Heian Shrine were also on the route, allowing me to visit those as well.

One of the deciding factors was that I would receive a bus ticket to Fushimi Inari, which is not on the route, but this turned out to be quite a challenge. First, the location of the bus stop was difficult for tourists to find. I asked the Sky Hop Bus staff where the bus stop was, and they gave me a vague answer, saying, "I think it's over there." It turned out to be completely wrong. Even when I went to the bus information center, they said they didn't know where it was (I mentioned that the ticket said 6A, but they told me, "There is no 6A"). Just when I thought I finally found it, I discovered that the bus only comes once an hour, and I had just missed it by five minutes. 初めての京都旅行でした。有名な観光地である金閣寺、清水寺、伏見稲荷には行きたいと思い、そのうちの２つがルートにあったこちらを予約させて頂きました。二条城と平安神宮もルートにあったのでついでに行けたのは良かったです。
ルートにはない伏見稲荷に行くバスチケットも貰えるとの事だったのでそれも決め手の１つだったのですが、これが大変でした。まずこのバスの停留所の場所が観光客にはわかりにくい。スカイホップバスのスタッフさんにバス停の場所を聞いたのですが、「多分あちらだと思います」と言う曖昧な回答。しかも全く違う場所でした。バスの総合案内所に行ってもわからないと言われる程でした(チケットに６Ａとありましたので、それを伝えましたが「６Ａなんてないですよ」と言われた)。やっとの思いで見つけたと思ったら、なんとそのバスが1時間に一回しか来ず、私が見つけた時は5分前に出発した後でした。結局京都駅に戻って電車に乗って伏見稲荷まで行くはめになりました。土地勘のない観光客に地元の人しか乗らないようなバスのチケットを渡されても使いようがありません。もう少し配慮が必要だと思います。
スカイホップバス自体は悪くはないですが、そんなに広くない範囲をくるっと周るだけで3600円という事を考えるとちょっと高いと感じます。
二階建てバスで景観を楽しめるので、外国人にはいいかもしれないですが、日本人がこのバスに選ぶ意味はほぼないですね。

I was always mindful of the meeting times, so I couldn't take my time to look around. Considering the packed schedule for one day, I think it's a good deal. However, I believe it would be easier to navigate Pineapple Park with a tour guide. It may not be very large, but I got lost along the way.

I had been using hop-on hop-off buses at tourist spots in Europe, so I was excited to see them finally available in Japan! I made a reservation right away. This time, it was a mini trip alongside a training session, and I was able to enjoy the city of Kyoto from a high vantage point while listening to the audio guide through my headphones. I also took a lot of snap photos, so it was definitely more worthwhile than just taking a regular bus.

I had decided on my points of interest in advance, so I was able to combine the bus and train and cover quite a bit of ground. However, it was a bit lonely since there were many foreign tourists using it. It's definitely convenient, so if you visit Kyoto, I highly recommend giving it a try!

ヨーロッパの観光地で以前から乗り降り自由バスを利用していたので日本にもついに登場したか～！って予約しちゃいました。
今回は研修のついでのミニトリップでしたが、イヤホンで観光ガイドも聴きながら京都の街を高い目線から眺められるし、ついでにスナップ写真もたくさん撮れましたよ～なので普通のバスでまわるより絶対お得です。
事前にポイントを決めておいたので、バスと鉄道を組み合わせて結構まわれました。
ただ、利用していたのは外国人が多かったのが少し寂しかったです。

This tour is highly recommended! I wanted to do some sightseeing in the northern area even though I didn't have a car, so I signed up for this tour. It was really great, so I truly recommend it!

It was okay to change the pick-up and drop-off locations, so I joined from a hotel near my accommodation and was dropped off at the prefectural office on the way back, which allowed me to use my time effectively.

The sightseeing spots were all places I wanted to visit, and I was impressed by the large aquarium at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and enjoyed the dolphin show. The weather wasn't great on Kouri Island, so I couldn't see the sparkling blue sea, but I want to challenge it again next time.

We also stopped at places where I could buy purple sweet potato tarts, pineapple liquor, and snacks, making it a very satisfying tour.

行き帰りの送迎場所を変えてもオッケーだったので、宿泊地のホテル近くから参加し、帰りは県庁で降ろしてもらえ、時間を有効に使えました。
観光地は行きたいところばかりで、美ら海水族館の大きな水槽には感動し、イルカショーも楽しめました。古宇利島では天気が良くなかったので、キラキラした青い海は見えなかったですが、次回またチャレンジしたいと思います。紅芋タルトやパイナップルのお酒、お菓子を買えるところにも寄れて、大満足のツアーでした。
