Our family stayed in Osaka for 4 days and we thought that this time being the end spring/start of summer season, we are definitely going to include Kyoto as part of our Japanese adventure.

We booked the Kyoto full day tour with Veltra and was able to meet with Jun at the designated meeting point. The meeting point was conveniently situated a 10 minutes walk from where we stayed at Hilton Osaka.

Jun was very well versed in the English language and explained our itinerary and places of interest clearly. We were given sufficient time at each places of interest to explore the place and took pictures.

However, because summer was upon us, there were a lot of people at the tourist attractions. Be prepared to jostle your way at the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shinto Shrin and the Bamboo Forest.

A lot of walking and guests with mobility difficulty may find this tour a bit demanding. Also not advisable for families with young children. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids and even then, all four of us were tired out by the end of the day.

But hey, it was a worth day spent in Kyoto going to all the touristy places. We even thought perhaps next time we might explore Kyoto on our own at a slower pace.

For lunch, I initially booked a vegetarian option for our family as we are muslims and was pleasantly surprised that a halal lunch option was available. The place we went for lunch had a muslim friendly restaurant and the souvenir shop even had a corner selling halal certified souveniers.

At the end of the day, our family thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Kyoto and would definitely try out other tours with Veltra should we go to Japan again.

I wanted to visit Daishi Forest Mountain, but since I'm not good at driving, I chose this tour. I was very satisfied with the result.

An efficient and good way to see the Tokyo highlights.

Shodoshima is a beautiful place to spend a relaxing weekend. They have a great bus system and you can get 1 or 2 day passes. However, the buses are not super frequent and it is time consuming to see some great sites that are not in the main area of the Island. This is where the tour comes in. They hit the major highlights all in a day and do the driving and organizing for you! They time the tour perfectly with the arrival of the ferry. Check-in and board the bus and off you go! Start with the monkey park. You can feed the monkeys (thankfully you are protected inside a fenced area as they can get aggressive). You then have a few minutes just to wander around and take pictures. There is also a show with a monkey doing tricks. From there you go to the ropeway. There is a restaurant that uses the ticket machine, making the process very fast and easy. There is also a snack area. You can just stay there and take in the beauty of the gorge or take the ropeway down. The bus will meet you at the bottom. Perfect! You then get a quick few minutes to see a temple built into the rocks and then down to the area where some famous Japanese movie was filmed (think was called 24 eyes). No idea what the movie was about but they turned the site into a cute little shopping village. You can also try soy sauce soft serve. I skipped, but people seemed to be happy with it. Quick stop in the area they make soy sauce. Was a bit surprised we stopped at a shop and not where the museum is located. The final stop is the Olive Garden. Here you can see the olive trees (the first on the Island), do some trick photography, a little shopping, and olive ice cream. Overall,I enjoyed tour. Not too long at any site, both the driver and the guide were professional and great. My only criticism (and this is for every tour I've been on), I wish the guide didn't feel a need to talk the entire time. Let us enjoy the sites on the bus. It is ok to have silence once in while.

Japanese punctuality and attention to detail, all in a very simple and unassuming way. Great experience and very well paced and organized.
We were an eclectic crowd and the guide was even discreet enough to just act surprised when somebody asked her why Japanese “Fuji” water was exported to the United States and never drank by the japanese. I think she confused Fiji water with the water from Mount Fuji. Oh lord!...The guide was marvelous and discrete by saying she did not know....

After arriving at Taketomi Island, we first took a bus for a tour around the island. After visiting two beaches, we arrived at the Taketomi Tourist Center. We took a ride on a water buffalo, but it seemed to have a mind of its own, which took quite a bit of time (laughs). The weather wasn't great, but we still had a decent time.

天気はあまりよくなかったですが、まあまあ楽しめました。

I participated alone, but I had a great time. Since I'm not familiar with the geography of Okinawa, I thought it would be difficult to visit both Sefa Utaki and the Gangala Valley on my own, but the bus tour made it very easy to get there. Both places were mystical and really wonderful.

沖縄の地理に詳しくないので、斎場御嶽もガンガラーの谷も自分で行くのは難しいと思っていたのですが、バスツアーだったためとても楽に行くことができました。
両方とも神秘的でとても良かったです。

I thought Shirakawa-go and Gokayama had the same scenery and feel, but I can't quite put it into words; the atmosphere was different. I liked Gokayama.
I thought the optional rice cracker grilling was unnecessary, but it turned out to be surprisingly fun.

白川郷と五箇山は、同じ風景、同じ感じと思っていましたが、うまく言葉では言えませんが雰囲気が違いました。私は五箇山が好きでした。
オプションのおせんべい焼きは、必要かと思いましたが、意外と楽しかったです。

I participated on July 3rd. The lavender still had many buds, but Farm Tomita seemed to be the earliest in bloom. It had a wonderful fragrance.

Shikisai no Oka is spacious, so I first took the Norokko train for a round trip. With only 50 minutes to stay and a lot of people around, I recommend purchasing the Norokko train tickets as soon as you arrive and getting in line. There was only one row available for four people facing backward, but there was a photo opportunity at a scenic spot along the way, so the direction didn't matter much. The stop for photos was only 3 minutes, and those who were late were left behind.

The round trip took 15 minutes, allowing me to scout the park and later visit the places I liked at a leisurely pace.

ラベンダーはまだ蕾が多かったですが、ファーム富田は一番開花が早いようでした。とてもいい香りでした。
四季彩の丘は広いので、まずノロッコ号に乗って一周しました。
50分しか滞在時間がなく、とにかく人が多いので、到着するとすぐにノロッコ号のチケットを購入し、列に並ぶことをお勧めします。1列4人乗りで後ろ向きしかあいてませんでしたが、途中景色のいい所で写真タイムの下車があったので向きはあまり関係ないと思います。下車時間は3分のみで、遅れた人はおいていかれました。
1周15分で、園内の下見をして、気に入った所にあとでゆっくり行けました。

I think this is suitable for those who want to experience Yakushima without the purpose of mountain climbing. The main highlight, "Shiratani Unsuikyo," is not included, but it's easy to get there by local bus, so you can go on your own. Therefore, if you combine the "Yakuzaru-go" with a visit to Shiratani Unsuikyo, you'll have a fairly fulfilling trip to Yakushima. It also includes transfers from major hotels and lunch, which makes it feel like a good deal.

山登り目的でなく、簡単に屋久島を体験しようと思う人に向いていると思います。主な見所では、「白谷雲水峡」が入っていないですが、ここは路線バスでも行けるので、自分で行く事も簡単です。よって「やくざる号」と自分で行く白谷雲水峡を組合せれば、結構充実した屋久島旅行になります。主だったホテルの送迎や昼食も入っているので、お得な感じもします

It was bad raining day.
Did not get chance to go on the Ropeway and to see Mt Fuji, because of rain, fog and windy
The tour guide was good to explain things to us.
The bus driver is very excellent driver, no hiccups on the way she drives on the wet, fog winding road.
I did enjoy the tour.

I think it was great to do sightseeing by bus from the resort in one day. However, there wasn't enough time at Pineapple Park. The bus driver was also very nice. Last time, on another tour, the guide shared various interesting tidbits, but this time the guide felt like they were just reading from a script, which was disappointing.

１日でリゾート地からバスでの観光で良かったと思います。パイナップルパークの時間が足りませんでしたが。バスの運転手さんも感じが良かったです。
前回他のツアーでガイドさんがいろいろなマメ情報も教えてもらえたのですが、今回は原稿そのままの棒読みの感じのガイドさんで、それだけが残念でした。

The heavy rain warning provided a thrilling experience. I regret that I couldn't go to Yakusugi Land and Jomon Sugi due to the heavy rain warning.

It's a perfect itinerary for those visiting Ishigaki Island for the first time or looking to fill their time.

初めて石垣島を訪れる方や時間埋め合わせで利用するには丁度よい行程です。

It was my first time on Ishigaki Island.
I was able to spend a satisfying day.
If the weather had been good, I would have been very satisfied (laughs).
Even participating alone, I could stroll around without any stress.

１人参加でも全然気楽に散策できます。

We've enjoyed hop-on hop-off busses in other cities and decided to give it a try in Tokyo. There are two loops so we decided to do the longer loop (90m) and cone back the next morning for the shorter loop (60m). Your pass is good for 24 hours which is very nice. The bus we were on was not a double decker, but it has a see through roof. Unfortunately it is weathered and dull so you can see ok but it is not good for taking photos. You are given headphones and you plug into a soundtrack that narrates the trip. There are several languages to choose from. This is efficient but not very interesting. The narration directed us to look at things that were not always in our direct line of site, but rather tucked behind other buildings. We really just wanted to go for a ride and not hop off. If we'd gotten off we could see more so basically it is just a bus ride, not really a great tour. We opted not to come back the next day for the second loop.

The mangrove cruise was enjoyable despite a little rain, as I was able to see various plants. I toured Taketomi Island on a water buffalo cart. I had a great time while listening to Okinawan songs!

I made a reservation to tour the Furano and Biei area. It was my 10-month-old daughter's first bus tour.

On the day of the tour, many people helped us. Thanks to the kindness of not only the guide and driver but also many participants, my daughter was able to join without fussing at all. The weather was nice, and we were able to see a lot of beautiful scenery.

For me, it turned out to be a day that I was glad to participate in, but there were no facilities for changing diapers on the bus, and there was no restroom at all. There was also no pricing option for child bus seats only (without meals or fees for attractions). The meeting point required going up and down stairs, and there were no diaper-changing facilities nearby. Above all, the schedule was quite demanding even for adults due to the many attractions. For these reasons, I don't think this plan is very child-friendly. If you are considering participating with small children, I recommend carefully considering it, especially if your child is not used to traveling.

富良野・美瑛方面を観光したくて予約しました。生後10ヶ月の娘にとっては初めてのバスツアーとなりました。
当日はたくさんの方にお世話になりました。ガイドさんや運転手さんだけでなく、ツアーに参加されたたくさんの方に優しくしていただいたおかげで、娘は終始ぐずることなく参加することができました。天気が良く、きれいな景色をたくさん見ることができました。
私にとっては参加して良かったと思う1日になりましたが、バスの車内にはオムツ替えの施設はもちろんトイレ自体がなく、子ども用のバス席のみ（食事や観光地での料金なし）の料金設定もありません。集合場所まで階段での上り下りとなり、集合場所付近にはオムツ替えの施設がありませんでした。何より、見所が多いため、大人でもハードなスケジュールです。以上のことから、小さい子どもに優しいプランだとは思いませんでした。小さいお子さんと一緒にご参加される場合、お子さんが旅慣れていない場合は慎重にご検討されることをお勧めします。

Before participating, I honestly thought it would be dull compared to the classic tours of Furano in Hokkaido or the summer tours of Shakotan. However, once I joined, I was able to feel the grandeur of nature created by volcanic activity, and it turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. I was particularly impressed by the columnar jointing visible from the underwater sightseeing boat on Lake Shikotsu, as well as the greatness of nature centered around volcanic activity, including Mount Usu and Showa Shinzan. I think the uniqueness of Showa Shinzan is a must-see.

Additionally, the torishio soup hot pot for lunch was delicious. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour.

参加する前は、正直、北海道の定番の富良野や、夏の積丹などのツアーと比較して、地味だなあと思っていました。しかし参加してみると、火山活動が生み出した、大自然の雄大さを感じられて、予想以上に面白く、大満足のツアーでした。特に、支笏湖の水中遊覧船から見える柱状節理、有珠山・昭和新山など、火山活動を中心とした自然の偉大さを感じることができて非常に良かったです。特に、昭和新山の異様さは必見だと思います。
また、とり塩スープ鍋膳の昼食もおいしかったです。全般的に大満足のツアーでした。

A few days after the rainy season ended early in Okinawa, I signed up at the last minute, but fortunately, there were cancellations, and I was able to make a reservation after 10 o'clock.

Since I was driving on a completely dark road, I couldn't reach my destination without map information. Wi-Fi wasn't available, and I could only view map information on my smartphone. However, after navigating through the dark road, it was worth it because the sky was filled with stars, including the Milky Way.

Even as a wheelchair user, I was able to go to a spot where I could take some photos, creating a lifelong memory of my first visit to Miyako Island. I was also pleased with the kind assistance from the staff. Since it's something that amateurs can't easily capture, I think it's a great idea to preserve it as a travel memory at least once.

沖縄ではいち早く梅雨が明けた数日後、出発ギリギリで申込みましたが、運良くキャンセルもあって、10時過ぎに予約が取れました。
真っ暗な道を車で行くので、地図情報が無いと目的地へは辿り着けません。
Wi-Fiは繋がらず、スマホじゃないと地図情報が見られません。
でも、真っ暗な道をひたすら行き着いただけのことはあって、
そこは天の河を含めて満天の星空でした。
車イスユーザーでも、ある程度行ける所まで行って撮ってもらえたので
初宮古島の記念としても一生の思い出が出来ました。
スタッフの方々の対応が優しかったのも嬉しかったです。
中々素人には撮れないモノなので、一度は旅行記念に残してみるのも良いと思います。

Despite the heavy rain forecast due to the typhoon, I came to Yakushima to meet the kodama (tree spirits) of the Mononoke Forest. The moss, wet from the rain, sparkled beautifully and was truly wonderful! The guide brought a kodama doll, and it felt as if the real ones were there. I felt as if my heart was cleansed, and I left with a refreshed spirit. If you get the chance, I definitely recommend visiting!

台風による大雨予報の中、もののけの森のこだま（木霊）に逢いたくて、屋久島にやって来ました。
雨に濡れた「苔」は、キラキラ輝いて、とても素敵でした❣️
ガイドさんがこだま（木霊）の人形を持って来てくれたのですが、本物がいるみたいでした
なんだか、心が洗われたように、スッキリした気持ちになりました。
是非、チャンスがあったら、訪れてみて欲しいですね。

A very easy tour, however not enough free time in each destination.
The lunch we ordered wasn’t nice. Better off purchasing authentic food at each stopping destination.
Tour guide was friendly and informative.

Thank you very much for accommodating us so graciously despite the last-minute reservation. We both had a wonderful experience that we will never forget, especially the experience of being under the waterfall. It was also helpful to receive the photos. I highly recommend it! We will come again, just the two of us!

This time, I visited Iriomote Island alone.
Last time, I focused on sightseeing, but this time I decided to request a tour.
I was very satisfied to experience Iriomote Island in a way I couldn't during my previous visit.

前回は観光メインでしたが、今回はツアーをお願いすることにしました。
前回訪れた時には、感じることの出来なかった西表島を感じることができてとても満足することができました。

My first visit to Yakushima was for trekking and diving. I heard that it was the setting for "Princess Mononoke," which is one of my favorite Studio Ghibli films, so I decided to go.

I chose the moss-covered forest half-day course. The staff at the accommodation mentioned that we would arrive quickly, but as a trekking beginner, I thought it might be better to save Jomon Sugi for another time.

On the day of the trek, I received a call from the person in charge. I was excited and nervous since it was my first time, but the guide was wonderful. We talked about the course and shared casual conversations, creating a homely atmosphere, so I quickly felt comfortable. The guide was in his 70s, but he was a veteran who climbed swiftly! He provided detailed guidance, and I was glad I could keep up with him.

The reserved course was truly amazing, and I felt like I could climb it over and over again. There were huge cedar trees that rivaled Jomon Sugi, and the sound of the river was very soothing. The course was full of highlights until we reached the moss-covered forest, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you.

On the last day, I had a trekking reservation, and I wanted to make it to the ferry on time, so I asked to go to the souvenir center at a certain time. They kindly accommodated my request, which was a great help. Thank you. However, it might have been because I was the only one that day.

初めての屋久島で、目的はトレッキングとダイビングでした。
ジブリが大好きでもの○け姫でも舞台とされてるとのことで行ってみました。

コースは苔むす森、半日コース
宿のかた曰く直ぐについてしまいます、
なんて言われましたが、トレッキング初心者なので縄文杉はまたの機会でいいかもと思ってました。

当日前に担当の方より連絡があります。
初めてでワクワクドキドキ緊張してましたが、
ガイドの方が大変良くて、コースの話や世間話しをして頂きアットホームな雰囲気だったので直ぐに仲良くなりました。
高齢で70代過ぎの方でしたが、ベテランの方でサクサク登られます！w
さらに細かなガイドをして頂けます。
ガイドさんになんとか付いて行けて良かった…

予約のコースは本当に最高で何度でも登りたいって思えます。縄文杉に負けないくらい大きな杉があり、川のせせらぎが心地良かったです。
苔むす森に辿りつくまで見所満載のコースで満喫出来ました！！
ありがとうございます。

最終日にトレッキングを予約していたので、フェリー時間に間に合うように何時にはお土産センターへ行きたいなどとワガママを聞いて頂き、大変助かりました。ありがとうございます。
ただ、その日は私だけだったからかも知れません。

What I was most looking forward to on my first trip to Miyako Island was this tour! When I arrived at the meeting point, which was on a pitch-black road that made me a bit anxious, I was greeted by a stunning starry sky and shooting stars! My boyfriend, who had said, "There's no way this is real. It must be edited," seemed very satisfied after the tour. In addition to the breathtakingly beautiful photos, I was also given recommendations for sightseeing spots and restaurants, so thank you! I would love to join again when I visit Miyako Island! I'm also looking forward to the new tours you are planning!

不安になるくらい真っ暗な道を進んだ集合場所に着くと満点の星空と流れ星が！！
『絶対こんなの嘘。合成でしょ。』って言っていた彼氏もツアー後には満足している様子でした♪

It was a very satisfying tour. The bus arrived on time, and the driver drove safely. The female tour guide—I'm sorry, I forgot her name—was very kind and attentive. I appreciate it.

As for the weather, there was rain and wind during the tour, but by the time we arrived at the Churaumi Aquarium, it had cleared up beautifully.

During the trekking at Daisekirinzan, I was able to walk without getting too tired. At Cape Hedo, I was moved by the wonderful view, so much so that I didn't mind the rain and wind. Thank you very much for providing such a wonderful experience.

We went on a trip to Okinawa to celebrate my mother's retirement. Every place we visited was charming, but the tour became even more enjoyable thanks to our guide who provided information about Okinawa on the bus. Since we traveled during the rainy season, it rained on our way back. There was a major traffic jam due to a traffic accident and signal issues, which made us anxious about catching our flight. However, I was impressed by our guide's thoughtfulness and adaptability. If we go to Okinawa again, I would like to request this bus tour company.

定年を迎えた母のお祝いに沖縄旅行に行きました。
行った先々はどこも魅力的でしたが
ガイドさんがバスの中、沖縄について案内してくださったことで一層楽しいツアーになりました。
梅雨の時期に行ったので帰りは雨。交通事故と信号機のトラブルで大渋滞。帰りの飛行機に乗る方がいて私達がヒヤヒヤしましたが、ガイドさんのお気遣いや臨機応変なご対応に関心しました。
また沖縄に行ったらこちらのバスツアー会社様にお願いしたいと思います。
