The road leading up to Nikko is quite famous and the journey is beautiful! While the Shrine is also very beautiful esp the woods at the back, make sure not to accidentally join the students' tour. We joined our guide as well but we realized that it would have been a better experience for us if we took everything in by ourselves only as that would have given us a semblance of peace. Some might enjoy going with the group though. To each her own! Also, we missed the falls! Yup, we did. We didn't understand our guide. We thought we were merely going to a parking lot.
I have to say that this tour has the best lunch!!! I'd love to have that set again!

I wanted to efficiently travel to Shirakawa-go from Kanazawa in a limited amount of time, so I joined a tour. The bus seats were quite spacious, and perhaps because it was a weekday, the bus was not crowded at all, making it comfortable.

I think it was a great deal since we could visit not only Shirakawa-go but also Takayama. As we approached each destination, the staff explained the highlights and recommendations, which was very helpful. The lunch I had in Shirakawa-go was delicious, and I was also able to enjoy a hot spring. Thanks to this, it turned out to be a fulfilling trip.

金沢から時間がない中、効率的に白川郷まで行きたいと思いツアーに参加しました。バスの座席もかなりゆったりした作りでしたが平日だったせいかバスはかなり余裕があり、快適でした。
白川郷だけでなく、飛騨高山にも行けてお得だと思います。それぞれ目的地に近付くと、スタッフの方が見所等オススメを説明してくれて、助かりました。白川郷で食べた昼食も美味しかったし、温泉にも入れました。おかげで充実した旅になりました。

The guide was fun and knowledgeable. The tour of the whiskey distillery and sake brewery was great. The sake brewery did not have an English translation but the guide translated for our group. We went to a great spot for lunch that was recommended by the guide. Amazing, I recommend the tour and especially if you need help with translation. Our driver was very friendly and accommodating interacted with the party. Highly recommend the tour.

I participated in a tour that included Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo in one day. I was quite prepared for the long course of Jomon Sugi, but the guide took appropriate breaks and shared various stories, so while I did get tired, it was an enjoyable trek.

For Shiratani Unsuikyo, a different guide talked about Yakushima's nature and plants. I was very happy that they even prepared a figure of Kodama from "Princess Mononoke."

I felt a bit anxious about the low tour price, but there were no particular complaints about the advance communication or the tour itself; in fact, I was very satisfied. If I have the chance again, I would like to participate in Shiratani Unsuikyo or other courses. (Maybe I've had enough of Jomon Sugi for now. Haha.)

縄文杉1日＋白谷雲水峡1日のツアーで参加しました。
縄文杉のコースはとにかく長いということでかなり覚悟して臨みましたが、ガイドさんが適度に休憩をとってくださったり色々とお話をしてくださったので、もちろん疲れはしましたが楽しいトレッキングでした。
白谷雲水峡は縄文杉とは別のガイドさんで屋久島の自然や植物についていろいろとお話ししてくださいました。もののけ姫のこだまのフィギュアも用意してくださってとても嬉しかったです。

ツアー代金が安かったので少し不安を感じていましたが、事前の連絡やツアー自体に特に不満もなく、むしろ大満足でした。
また機会があれば白谷雲水峡や他のコースにも参加したいと思います。

I was anxious about whether I could keep up since I decided to go. I started walking in a group of five, including the guide, and I was worried about whether I could make it back, as my feet hurt even on the trolley path. However, the guide was attentive and checked on us multiple times, allowing us to walk the round trip distance safely. They took photos for us, and during lunch, we enjoyed warm miso soup, which was exceptional for our tired bodies. I am grateful to the guide on the second day for providing various explanations. I regret not being able to stay a bit longer.

体力が持つのか行く事に決めてからずっと不安でした。ガイドさんを含めて五人のグループで歩き始めトロッコ道ですら足が痛くて帰れるのか心配でした。しかしガイドさんの気配りはさすがで何度も声かけをして下さり無事に往復の距離を歩けました。写真を撮って下さったりお弁当の時は温かいお味噌汁も頂き疲れた身体には格別でした。二日目のガイドさんもいろいろと説明をして頂き感謝です。もう少し長い滞在にしたかったと悔やまれるほどです。

Overall was very impressed with the day trip. Coach was comfortable and didn't feel like the journeys were too long overall. Host was very nice and informative.

Only two slight downsides to note was that we went for the 'no set lunch option' thinking there would be a shop to purchase food from or the option to pay for lunch when we got there but neither was correct.

Also, slightly surprised we did not get closer to Fuji.

Overall would definitely recommend.

The pace of the bus guide was very slow. I had a muscle ache from a cramp the day before, so it was a relief. Some people might have wanted to walk a bit faster to the main sightseeing spots and take their time exploring.

We participated with three people while we were in Hokkaido for other business. Most of the attendees were inbound tourists, so there was no need for Japanese explanations, but the kind and accurate explanations made it very enjoyable for us.

The tour guide, Nao, was very attentive to the participants and provided explanations that were easy to understand. Her ability to appear anywhere, along with her dash and skip, was a big hit with my family.

I would be happy to meet again on another tour. It was a very enjoyable and memorable tour of Kyoto. Thank you very much.

On the day of the tour, the guide suggested that it might be better to cancel due to heavy rain, but we decided to go and assess the situation on-site. When we arrived, there were no traffic restrictions, so despite the rain, we were able to fully enjoy the wonderful scenery. On the way back from the tour, there were road closures, and the river had risen, making it impassable, but the guide helped us find a detour, and we managed to return safely. If you're coming here, I definitely recommend having a guide, as they provide explanations along the way and can assist in emergencies.

ツアー当日は豪雨のため中止したほうが良いのではとガイドさんから話がありましたが、現地まで行って判断することとしました。
現地についた時点では、通行規制はされていなかったため、雨の中ですが十分に素晴らしい景色を堪能することができました。
ツアーの帰路には、通行禁止となっており、また川も増水して通行できなくなりましたが、ガイドさんが迂回路を案内してくれて何とか変えることが出ました。
ここに来るならガイドさんを付けたほうが、途中での説明や緊急時の対応等をしてくれるので、ぜっていに良いと思います。

We were thrilled that we booked this tour, it was a day full of incredible sights and learnings thanks to our sensational tour guide Levin!!!
Levin was brilliant at keeping us engaged and sharing some really interesting facts along the way.
The tour combined a few parts, all of which were spectacular viewing points for Mount Fuji.
We were very lucky to get to level 5 when we travelled in Feb as it was the first they opened this level, what a treat :)
The village along with ninjas was a nice way to break up the day and here was quite the feast waiting on us, the food was delicious and yet again, glorious views.
We ended the tour with a 3D flight simulation ride over Mout Fuji which was a cool and fun way to end the day before the trip back to the city.
Absolutely loved every minute and big kudos to Levin, he was an amazing guide!

The bus was filled with foreigners. However, my daughter has an understanding of English and Japanese that is about the same, so it was great that there were explanations in both languages. Moreover, being able to see this amount in one day is something only a tour can offer. If I were to go on my own, I think I would probably be limited to two places at most.

We walked a lot, but it was a fun sightseeing experience. I am very satisfied. The guide took our photos, and they turned out really well. We have some great family pictures as a keepsake. Thank you for your help. I would like to participate again.

There are various types of cruises, but the factory night view was a completely new experience for me, as if I had come to another planet. The captain's explanations were excellent, and I heard many interesting stories about the port and the ship. On the way back, the ship got very close to the Ferris wheel, and I was able to go out on deck and enjoy an exhilarating view of the Ferris wheel and the hotels from directly below. It was amazing!

Although it was a cold February, there weren't too many tourists, allowing me to take my time exploring each location. The guide's explanations were thorough, detailed, and entertaining, which was fantastic. I ordered lunch for an additional fee, and the set included udon and persimmon leaf sushi, which was delicious, so I was glad I ordered it.

Unfortunately, it was pouring rain... I got completely soaked at Sefa Utaki. When the weather is bad, you need more than just an umbrella; other rain gear is necessary as well... The guide, despite being drenched, was considerate of the tour guests, and I appreciated their thoughtfulness! It was a fun tour! The early morning was tough, though.

We had the perfect weather to experience Mount Fuji. I recommend checking the weather before you book to avoid disappointment.

We could see Mount Fuji in the distance from Tokyo city. It has snowed the night before so we could only go up to the first station of the mountain. Oshino-Mura was a lovely town with more views, waterfalls were lovely. We even saw cherry blossoms flowering at the shrine temple.

Our guide was informative and spoke clear English. If the weather is clear skies then this trip is worth it!

Even though it was just one day, it was packed with activities and felt fulfilling. Since there was mostly free time, I think it's appealing to be able to go wherever you like. When I went, there were only a few people, which allowed me to get closer to the guide. The atmosphere was homey, and I was able to relax and enjoy myself.

From 15:40 on March 5th, it was quite warm during the day, but by that evening, it was still a bit chilly. However, the blanket service was very helpful. It was very comfortable, and the time flew by; I wished I could have stayed on for another hour.

I visited at the beginning of March.
Due to the mild winter, the snow had already melted, so I couldn't see the gassho-zukuri villages covered in snow. However, I was able to walk the winter-closed trails, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful scenery of both Shirakawa-go and Gokayama!
The free exploration time was set generously, allowing me to thoroughly see the entire village and take photos at a leisurely pace.
Since we traveled by bus, I could also enjoy some local sake during the exploration, making it a very satisfying day. (*^^*)

暖冬で雪が既に溶けてしまっていて、雪に屋根をおおわれた合掌造り集落は見られませんでしたが、かわりに冬期閉鎖の遊歩道も歩けたので、白川郷と五箇山の両方で、集落全景の美しい風景を堪能出来ました！
自由散策は、集落を全てくまなく見ても余裕の時間設定で、写真もゆっくりと撮れました。
バス移動なので散策中に地元のお酒も楽しめるし、大満足の一日となりました。(*^^*)

I considered a plan to go individually, but the connections between the ferry and bus just didn't work out well... In the end, I signed up for this tour.

On the day of the tour, the weather was bad with rain on and off from the morning, but since the plan involved a lot of traveling by vehicle, it turned out to be comfortable for sightseeing even with kids. The hotel pick-up was very helpful.

【Iriomote Island】
It takes about an hour from Ishigaki Port to Ohara Port on Iriomote Island. The ferry is large and didn't sway as much as I expected, so I felt safe riding it. There are restrooms on board as well.
There are restrooms at Ohara Port too, but there are few of them and they can get crowded, so I recommend using the restroom on the ferry.

Upon arriving at Ohara Port, we immediately transferred to a boat for a mangrove cruise. We went upstream and then back downstream for about an hour. Everything we saw was fascinating, and the time flew by☆

【Yufu Island】
After getting off the boat, a sightseeing bus was waiting, and we departed right away. The bus driver also served as a guide, sharing stories to keep us entertained during the ride.
In about 20 minutes, we arrived at the water buffalo cart boarding area on Yufu Island. We rode the water buffalo cart to cross over to Yufu Island. It was a unique experience, and the kids were thrilled.

We arrived at Yufu Island! Here, we finally had the chance to use the restroom. If you need to go, be cautious as the restrooms are limited. We had lunch prepared at the restaurant, and then we had some free time. We had about an hour and a half on the island, but with kids, that time goes by quickly. Personally, I recommend the butterfly garden. It was my first time seeing so many swallowtail butterflies flying around. (Of course, there are caterpillars too, so be cautious if you're not a fan.) As we strolled around the island, before we knew it, it was time to gather again. We rode the water buffalo cart back as well. On the return bus, both parents and kids were fast asleep. After getting off the bus, we boarded the ferry heading to Taketomi Island.

【Taketomi Island】
We arrived at Taketomi Island in about 40 minutes. Once we arrived, the itinerary split according to the plan. Our family had the 'bus + glass-bottom boat' plan, so we took the bus to various spots around the island.

First, we went to Kaiji Beach, famous for its star sand. We had 15 minutes of free time here. We stuck sand to our palms and searched for star sand with the kids. In the end, we found two beautiful pieces☆ The kids were overjoyed.

Next, we headed to the village. We also had about 15 minutes of free time here. Honestly, we couldn't take our time sightseeing. We just soaked in the atmosphere. We managed to have some soft serve ice cream.

While moving by bus, we admired Kondoi Beach and headed to the glass-bottom boat boarding area. Due to the rain, the water clarity wasn't as good as on sunny days, but the boat captain helped us find spots where we could see fish, and we were able to show the kids the swimming fish. There were clownfish among the coral reefs, and the kids were delighted☆

At 4 PM, we boarded the ferry and returned to Ishigaki Port.

It was a whirlwind tour, but I don't think I could have covered this much on my own, so I'm glad I participated. Since it was my second time on Taketomi Island, it was within my tolerance, but I would like to explore it more leisurely on another day.

【西表島】
石垣港から西表島の大原港まで約１時間。フェリーは大きく、揺れも思ったより無くて安心して乗れました。トイレも付いています。
大原港にもトイレは有りますが、数が少なく混雑するのでフェリーの中で済ませておくことをオススメします。

大原港に着くと、そのままボートに乗りかえてマングローブクルーズへ。
下流から上流へむかい、また下流に戻ってきて約１時間。
見る景色全てが物珍しく、あっという間でした☆

【由布島】
ボートを降りた先には観光バスが待ち構えていて、即出発。
バスの運転手さんがガイドも兼ねていて、道中退屈しないようお話をしてくれます。
20分程で由布島水牛車乗り場に到着。
水牛車に乗って、由布島へ渡ります。
中々ない体験に、子どもは大喜び。

由布島に到着！
ここでやっとトイレに行くことができます。トイレが近いかたは要注意。
レストランで用意されていた昼食を取り、その後は自由時間です。
島では１時間半程時間がありますが、子連れだとけっこうあっという間です。
個人的にはチョウ園オススメ。アゲハチョウがあんなに飛んでいるところを初めてみました。
（もちろん幼虫もいるので、苦手な方は要注意）
島内ぶらぶらしていると、あっという間に集合時間です。
帰りももちろん牛車に乗って戻ります。
帰りの観光バスでは親も子も爆睡でした。
バスを降り、フェリーに乗って、竹富島を目指します。

【竹富島】
40分程で竹富島へ到着。
竹富島に着いてからは、プランにのって行程がわかれます。
我が家は『バス＋グラスボート』のプランだったため、バスに乗って島のあちこちに連れて行ってもらいました。

まず星砂で有名なカイジ浜へ。
ここでの自由時間、15分。
掌に砂をくっつけ、子どもと一緒に星砂を探しました。
結果、みごと２個発見☆子どもも大喜び。

次は集落へ。
ここでの自由時間も15分程。
正直、ゆっくり観光はできません。
雰囲気を味わう程度。
ソフトクリームくらいは食べれました。

バスで移動しながらコンドイビーチを眺め、グラスボート乗り場へ。
雨天のため、晴天時に比べると海の透明度はイマイチでしたが、船頭さんが魚が見えそうなスポットを探してくれて無事魚が泳ぐ姿を子どもに見せることができました。
サンゴ礁の中にカクレクマノミがいたり、子どもも喜んでいました☆

16時　フェリーに乗って、石垣港に寄港


駆け足で巡ったツアーでしたが、個人で行くとここまでは回れないと思うので、参加して良かったです。
竹富島は２度目だったのでまぁ許容範囲でしたが、また別日にゆっくりまわりたいなと思いました。
