Even though it was before the rainy season, cycling in the strong midday sun would have been exhausting due to the heat. The bus driver guided us through the village and to the star sand beach, and most importantly, we could cool off once we returned to the bus. I didn't have high expectations for lunch on Yubu Island, but I was completely wrong; it was very delicious. There was also a guide that matched the dishes with explanations, so I was able to learn the names of Ryukyu cuisine and truly enjoy it. The mangrove tour on Iriomote Island coincided with high tide, so we couldn't see the features, but just listening to the guide's many explanations was a valuable experience. Even as a solo traveler, I was able to enjoy talking with local staff, guides, and other participants in the same tour, asking for photos, and there was no time to feel lonely. I think it's great that you can smoothly visit three islands. Considering the ferry fees and various other costs, the tour price is reasonable and offers good value. I recommend it for those who are not into active activities like stand-up paddleboarding or diving while sightseeing in Ishigaki Island.

The location was amazing, allowing me to feel the beauty of nature and receive wonderful energy from the forest, with light shining from the trees in the back. It was definitely a great decision to join the bus tour from Naha, which is 100 kilometers away.

Unfortunately, the tour guide was lacking. The only greeting on the bus was "There is no guide on this bus," and they just handed out the guide receivers. They didn't mention anything about wearing seatbelts, which was included in the guide receiver audio.

During the tour, the only things they said were "Turn on the guide receiver" and "What time is the meeting?" They didn't say anything else at all, and there was no farewell at the end of the tour. The stay was short, and I felt rushed, as if they wanted to get back quickly.

It's disappointing because we're not just luggage... I was unfortunate with this tour guide, but I believe there are guides out there who have more empathy.

Aside from that, Manzamo, the former Oishi Forest, and the Yanbaru Kuina Forest (the staff there explained everything kindly) were all full of highlights. It's a place that you rarely get to visit, and it was a valuable experience. The seafood rice bowl for lunch was also delicious.

We observed training for ground staff, cabin crew training on the aircraft, engine maintenance training, and flight simulator training. The cabin crew member from Thailand who was undergoing CPR training was very cheerful. Mr. Fukushima, who led the tour, was very pleasant, and his clear and thorough explanations, coming from an active cabin crew member, were excellent.

The experience at Jomon Sugi left a negative impression. The guide seemed experienced, but the treatment felt rather rough. I found it very unpleasant when they mentioned the large group size and the age of some participants. Although they said to go at our own pace, it felt like they were trying to match the speed of the faster individuals on the way back, and it seemed they weren't paying attention to the surroundings. It felt like the goal was just to finish quickly. I wonder why we had to walk so fast when there was time after we arrived for other parties to return. I'm grateful that I was able to go and come back, but I ended up with a torn fingernail and blood-soaked socks because of the strain. I do not recommend it.

ベテランガイドさんのようでしたが、なんだか雑な扱いで、大人数だからとか年齢が高い人がどうだのとかとても不快に感じました。無理せず自分のペースでと言っている割にはトレイルの帰りは早い人に合わせるようにしていて周りをきちんとみているように思えず、ただただ早く終わらせることを目標にされていたように感じます。到着してから他のパーティが戻ってくるまでに時間があったのになんであんな急ピッチで歩かなければならなかったのか謎です。行って、帰ってこれたのでそれには感謝。ただ無理したせいで指の爪が剥がれて靴下が血だらけになっていました。お勧めしません。

Since my flight was delayed, I arrived at the terminal around 22:40, but I had reserved a Green Car sleeper, so it was fairly comfortable. There was a TV, but I ended up not watching it at all. Aside from the general passengers, there was absolutely no sense of privacy, so I was glad I chose the Green Car sleeper. The restrooms and shower rooms were very clean. It's a shame that the only food available was instant noodles. Beer was sold from a vending machine, but I couldn't buy any after 24:00.
