From the departure at Tonosho Port, we spent the entire day enjoying ourselves without a moment of boredom, thanks to our veteran guide. There were plenty of explanations about the sightseeing spots along the way from the bus windows. The next day, we explored on our own with a rental car. It was a bit disappointing that the autumn leaves at Kankakei were still a little early, but since it gets very crowded during the season, I've heard that the round trip on the ropeway takes a lot of time due to the long lines, so I recommend the tour! ✨✨ The next day, when I was at the rental car desk, they asked if we had gone to Kankakei. The reason for that question was that the winding mountain roads can be challenging, especially for women who are not used to driving, so be careful! It was indeed a ropeway station at the mountain peak we looked up at... I'm glad we went the day before. The locations on this tour are quite spread out. While renting a car offers freedom, I highly recommend this tour! I was very impressed that the guide had memorized "Twenty-Four Eyes." Thank you for a wonderful day!

土庄港出発から　ベテランガイドさんの案内で一日中　退屈する暇もなく(バスの中)楽しく過ごせました。
途中の車窓の観光地も説明して頂くところ満載で
次の日は　自分達でレンタカーで見て回りました。
寒霞渓の紅葉はまだ少し早かったのが残念ですが　シーズンには大変混雑する為　ロープウェイの行列で　往復にはとても時間がかかるそうですのでツアーがおすすめです✨✨
次の日レンタカーの受付で寒霞渓には行かれました？と聞かれて　何故そんな質問をするのかというと　急な山道が続くので運転に慣れていない女性は気をつけてくださいね、結構大変ですよ！と… 　確かに見上げる山頂にロープウェイ駅でした…前日に行って来て良かったです。
今回のツアー箇所それぞれ離れています。
レンタカーも自由度から言うと良いですが　こちらのツアーお勧めです！！

Especially, we traveled from Iriomote to Yufu Island by water buffalo, and we also rode water buffalo on Taketomi Island. It was a joy to spend time with my family on the same route I took about 30 years ago with my family members.

Although the weather was unfortunately drizzly, I had a great time. The staff on the mangrove cruise provided various explanations, and I was able to see plenty of mangroves. We crossed to Yufuin Island by water buffalo, and if you get a cart that plays the sanshin, you can enjoy some music too♪ The lunch on Yufuin Island was also very delicious, made with local ingredients.

On Iriomote Island, I enjoyed the Nakama River cruise where I could see various mangroves and animals, and the boat guide's stories were fun. We crossed to Yubu Island by water buffalo, and I really felt the essence of Okinawa with the sound of the sanshin and the songs. There was also a spot to touch the water buffalo, and I was able to take pictures with them! They were so cute. The lunch bento was delicious too.

西表島では仲間川クルーズでいろいろなマングローブや動物が見れて船のガイドさんの話も楽しかったです。
由布島まで水牛で渡りましたが三線の音色に歌にとても沖縄を感じました。

It was great to see various places efficiently by bus. The meeting point was very difficult to find (especially with the construction at Sapporo Station), so I would have appreciated a clearer map. The tour guide was very kind, and my husband, who doesn't understand Japanese, was able to enjoy the experience without any discomfort.

バスで効率的にあちこち見られて良かったです。
集合場所がとても分かりづらく(札幌駅の工事中という事もあり)もっとはっきり地図でも頂きたかったです。

The day I participated was Saturday, and both Takayama and Shirakawa-go were bustling with tourists. The tour participants included not only Japanese but also many foreigners, and the tour guide was very kind, accommodating us in Japanese, English, and Chinese.

In Takayama, after strolling through the old streets, we enjoyed Hida beef for lunch. As expected of Hida beef, it was incredibly tender and delicious. There are also many food stalls and cafes in Takayama, making it hard to decide what to eat. I recommend the non-sweet Mitarashi dango and Gohei mochi!

In Shirakawa-go, it was unfortunately rainy, but we crossed a suspension bridge to view the gassho-zukuri houses and aimed for the observation deck on foot. The distance isn't too far, but the incline is quite steep, and there are no rest areas along the way, so I think it's better for those who aren't confident in their legs to use the shuttle bus. The view of Shirakawa-go from the observation deck was very beautiful. After taking commemorative photos at the top, we were able to relax at a nearby cafe. There were also many lovely souvenirs for sale.

Both walking times were set at two hours, which was just right for sightseeing, and I was able to enjoy it quite a bit. We arrived back on schedule as planned. I would love to participate again. Thank you very much!

参加した日は土曜日で、高山も白川郷も観光客が多く、賑わっていました。ツアーの参加者は日本人だけでなく外国の方も多いですが、添乗員さんは日本語、英語、中国語の3カ国語で対応してくれてとても親切でした。
高山では古い街並みを散策後、ランチに飛騨牛をいただきました。さすが飛騨牛、驚くほどやわらかくて美味しかったです。他にも高山には食べ歩きのお店やカフェも多くあって、何を食べようか迷うほどでした。甘くないみたらし団子や、五平餅もおすすめ！
白川郷ではあいにくの雨でしたが、吊り橋を渡って合掌造りを見学し、徒歩で山の上の展望台を目指しました。距離としてはそこまで遠くないのですが、上り坂の角度がかなり急で、途中で休憩する場所がないので、足腰に自信がない方はシャトルバスを利用するのがいいと思います。展望台から眺める白川郷はとても綺麗でした。頂上で写真を記念撮影したあと、すぐ横にあるカフェでのんびりできました。素敵なお土産もたくさん売っていました。
散策時間はどちらも2時間ですが、観光するのにちょうどいい時間設定で、かなり満喫することができました。帰りの到着も予定通りの時刻でした。また参加させていただきたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

On a pleasant, sunny weekday in autumn, I participated in a bus tour to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go. As expected from Veltra, there were only a few Japanese participants, and the tour was very international, with everyone being well-versed in traveling in Japan and its customs. Visiting popular spots on a weekday allowed for a moderate crowd, and the crisp mountain air and breeze were delightful. In Takayama, I enjoyed food sampling and tasting local sake, as well as Hida beef croquettes and obanyaki. We then headed to Shirakawa-go with plenty of time to spare. It was my first visit, and I was impressed by the grandeur of the river valley and the harmony of the gassho-zukuri houses that continued deeper into the village; it was truly beautiful. Despite the number of tourists, there wasn't a single piece of trash in sight, which was impressive. I spent a leisurely autumn afternoon and returned to Nagoya as scheduled. Thank you very much to our multilingual guide and the driver who drove safely and on time.

秋の気持ちの良い晴天の平日、飛騨高山と白川郷バスツアーに参加しました。さすがベルトラさん、参加者は日本人はわずかで、国際色豊かなツアーでしたが、皆さん日本を旅慣れているというか、日本の旅のマナーもよく心得ている方ばかりでした。平日に人気スポットを訪れることができ、ほどほどの混み具合、澄み切った山の空気や風が心地よかったです。高山では、食べ歩きや地酒のお試し飲み、飛騨牛コロッケや大判焼きも楽しみました。そして、余裕を持って白川郷向かいました。初めて訪れ、川の渓谷の雄大さ、その奥に続く合掌造りの家々が村全体が調和が降っていて、とても美しいと言う印象でした。あれだけ観光客が訪れてもゴミ1つ落ちていないのはさすがです。ゆったりとした秋の午後の時間を過ごして、予定通りに名古屋に戻ってきました。何か国語も操るガイドさん、安全運転で、定刻通りに走ってくれた運転手さん、本当にありがとうございました。

I signed up for this course because it had the most highlights, but it seemed like there weren't any other participants besides myself due to it being a weekday, so it was at risk of being canceled. I enrolled my wife to meet the minimum number of participants, and as a result, we were able to enjoy a course full of highlights between Sapporo and Hakodate. The two Chinese travelers who accompanied us were visiting Hokkaido for the first time, and they gave it the highest praise, expressing their desire to visit again when it snows. I would like to thank VELTRA.

First, we took a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island. On Iriomote Island, we cruised through the mangrove forests by boat. The guide provided detailed explanations about the mangrove ecosystem, and I learned so much—it was a wonderful experience!

From Ishigaki Island, we crossed the sea to Yubu Island by water buffalo. The water buffalo were so cute and soothing, and while crossing the sea, our guide played the sanshin, creating a moment where you can truly feel the essence of Okinawa!

We then took another ferry to Taketomi Island, where we also rode in a water buffalo cart! This time, the cart took us around the streets of Ishigaki, allowing us to enjoy a different scenery compared to Yubu Island.

It was a luxurious tour packed with highlights from all three islands! If you're visiting Ishigaki Island and want to explore many nearby islands, I highly recommend this experience!

We participated in this tour to create memorable experiences as a couple. The mangrove cruise was breathtaking with so many mangroves! My husband was also very satisfied. On the water buffalo cart, we enjoyed listening to the sanshin performance, and my husband happily hummed along to the songs. At Yufu Island, we strolled together among the subtropical plants, which was very nice. For lunch, we were able to try local dishes like under miso and umukujii, which we hadn't had before, and that was great. It was a wonderful tour that created lovely memories for us as a couple, and we were very satisfied.

夫婦での旅行で、思い出になるものを考えこのツアーに参加しました。

It was a trip with my 5-year-old son. The veteran bus guide, the driver, and everyone on board were kind, making it a fun bus journey from start to finish. The time spent at the zoo was just right, and we were able to take our time and explore at our own pace. We also had plenty of time for meals and souvenir shopping.

What surprised me was that each bus seat had a power outlet. I had brought a mobile battery, but I wish I had known about this! I think some parents might give their kids a smartphone to pass the time, so I hope this information is helpful to someone. Please be mindful of the volume.

This time, my son managed with an encyclopedia and a sticker book. On the way back, he was so tired that he fell into a deep sleep. I highly recommend this bus tour.

ベテランバスガイドさんや運転手さん、同乗の方みなさん優しく終始楽しいバスの旅となりました。

Although the weather was unfortunately cloudy with occasional sunshine, I had a fulfilling sightseeing trip. On the high-speed boat Premium Dream, I enjoyed the view of the blue sea while listening to explanations about Taketomi Island and Kuroshima, making my way leisurely to Iriomote Island without getting bored. Despite the high tide during the mangrove cruise, I had a great time hearing about clams the size of a fist and various creatures and plants. The tour bus driver was also a great storyteller, which made it enjoyable. The water buffalo cart to Yubu Island was impressive as we listened to Okinawan folk songs played on the sanshin while being amazed by the strong water buffalo moving through the sea. The Okinawan cuisine on Yubu Island was also very delicious, and I finished every bite. Next time, I would like to participate during low tide.

曇り時々晴れの生憎の天気でしたが、充実した観光旅行が、出来ました。高速艇プレミアムドリーム号で、竹富島や黒島の説明を聴きつつ、青い海を見ながら、飽きることなく、西表島までゆっくり出来ました。マングローブ遊覧も大潮で満潮だったにも関わらず、げんこつ位の大きさのしじみの話とか、色んな生き物や植物の説明があり、かなり楽しめました。観光バスドライバーも話し上手で、楽しかったです。由布島までの水牛車は、三線の沖縄民謡を聴きつつ、海の中を力強く進む水牛に圧倒され、由布島の沖縄料理も非常に美味しく完食しました。今度は干潮の時に参加したいと思います。

This time, I applied for a day trip tour to Iriomote and Yubu Island because I wanted to ride the water buffalo.

Unfortunately, the weather on the day was not favorable, with rain coming and going, but I was able to purchase a raincoat at the Iriomote Terminal, so I enjoyed the trip without any issues.

We proceeded along the Nakama River in Iriomote, observing the mangroves on both sides of the river and the animals that only inhabit the area, and finally rode the water buffalo to Yubu Island!

On Yubu Island, we had free time, so we first enjoyed lunch. The luxurious bento allowed us to savor Okinawan cuisine, and I was very satisfied. There is also a café on Yubu Island, and if the weather is nice, the view of the sea is beautiful, making it a perfect location.

I was looking forward to Iriomote Island, but unfortunately, it rained! My mood was a bit down, but the mangrove tour was enjoyable thanks to the guide's stories. The rain seemed to enhance the jungle atmosphere, making it even more fun. Although it was a short distance, I also enjoyed the bus ride to Yubu Island with stories from the local driver. I visited in October, and there was a major traffic jam. Everyone was lining up for parking. Buses with parking permits for Shirakawa-go can go straight ahead, allowing them to bypass the traffic and park smoothly in the parking area within Shirakawa-go.

Restaurants, cafes, and shops also had long lines. Since lunch was included, we had a delicious meal right away in a large traditional house, featuring Hida beef grilled on a magnolia leaf and local vegetables, with unlimited rice refills.

The bus to the observation deck stops running in the afternoon, so we quickly ate and boarded the village bus to go to the observation deck. You can walk there, but if you're feeling tired, taking the bus is a better option.

Overall, the time spent there was sufficient. For those who are short on time or dislike waiting, I recommend joining a tour.

みなさん駐車場に並びます。白川郷内に駐車許可が出ているバスはまっすぐ進めますので、渋滞から抜けて白川郷内の駐車場に止められますのでスムーズです。
飲食店やカフェ、売店も長蛇の列です。ランチ付きでしたので、着いたらすぐ大きな古民家でのランチで、飛騨牛の朴葉焼きや、地元野菜がでて、ごはんおかわり自由でおいしかったです。
展望台行きのバスが昼で終わるので、さっさと食べてすぐ村のバスに乗り、展望台へ行き降りてきました。歩いてもいけますが、しんどい方はバスがいいです。

It seemed to be a well-known tour for foreign visitors, and out of the nine participants that day, seven were likely from China, including the driver (who also made announcements about the meeting times).

Perhaps because it was a small group, we used a minivan with a capacity of ten people instead of a large bus. It wasn't particularly bumpy, and we were able to spend the time comfortably, although I felt a bit cramped since I had my luggage in my seat. If I had asked, I might have been able to place it in the empty space at the back.

The announcements inside the vehicle and at the location were primarily in Chinese, and we were only given the minimum information (meeting time). However, if we had any questions, the driver was able to answer them properly, so there were no issues, and we could participate with peace of mind.

We arrived at Kamikochi before 11 AM and were satisfied to enjoy a full four hours of exploration until just before 3 PM.

The bus guide introduced the highlights and local specialties, and used an easy-to-understand pamphlet to help us enjoy our time efficiently before we arrived, which was really helpful. They also pointed out great spots for taking photos, and we were able to capture some wonderful memories.

I don't think we could have visited multiple attractions in one day without the bus tour. We had plenty of time to sightsee at each location, and I was very satisfied to be able to buy the souvenirs that were recommended to us.
