Our family of four landed on Iriomote Island for the first time! Among the many tours available, we found a plan that included everything we wanted to do. The canoe course was just right for our kids, who are in 8th and 6th grade, and they seemed to have a great time! We went hands-free, but they took a lot of beautiful photos for us, which became precious memories for our family. Our guide was Yume, and the lunch spot she recommended was truly delicious! This was my first trip to Okinawa, and it was also my first experience with sea activities, so my wife and I were really looking forward to it. 3月、4月に行かれる際は、替えの服やバスタオルは必須かと思われます。一応、運営側から温水を頂けましたが、暖かいのは一瞬ですぐに風による寒さが体を蝕みます。一刻も早い保温と着替えをオススメします笑

天気は生憎の曇天でしたが、かなり楽しめた方だと思います。
カヌーに乗船する時は確実に膝下半分ぐらいまで濡れます。この時期水の冷たさに少し驚きましたが、乗ってしまえば水しぶきはありますが、基本浸水して濡れるようなことはありません。漕ぎ方やオールの使い方などは乗る前にレクチャーがあり、その後しばらく川？海？汽水域で慣らしながら実際にマングローブ林に入っていきます。段々細くなる水路にジャングルクルーズのような雰囲気を味わいながらとても楽しく、そして十分な時間楽しめました！
水牛は見てのとおり、牛が引っ張って行ってくれるのでなにもちからは使いません！
1日を通して気温22度ぐらいで推移していたと思いますが、下に水着を着て、その上に半袖Tシャツに、薄手のジャンバーでカヌーの途中は暑いぐらいでした！
このツアーでは水牛の前に上原港近くで各自昼食を取りますが、ガイドさんがオススメを教えてくれます！
昼食前にカヌーで濡れた服装などを着替えるシャワーがあり、濡れた物をいれる袋など用意しておくと良いかもしれません！
総じて非常に楽しめた1日でとても良い経験になりました！
