The mangrove canoe and water buffalo cart tour I experienced on Iriomote Island was the best time, feeling the richness of nature and the warmth of people. While slowly gliding along the calm river, I felt a sense of healing as I was surrounded by greenery.
The staff were very cheerful and took many photos, allowing me to keep memories in a tangible form. Additionally, they recommended a delicious restaurant during the tour, which made me happy to enjoy the local flavors. Thanks to the confirmation call I received beforehand, I was able to participate with peace of mind, and it turned out to be a day filled with smiles.
It was an unforgettable experience wrapped in the kindness of nature and people.

First of all, the staff were very kind and taught me well, so even though it was my first time paddleboarding, I was able to stand up and paddle right away. Since it was a clear paddleboard, I could also observe marine life and had a fulfilling time. They also provided free time, allowing me to practice and take photos, making the most of my time. I was surprised when they edited and sent me the video they filmed with a drone! I will cherish it!
まず初めにスタッフの方が丁寧に教えてくれたので初SUPでしたがすぐに立って漕ぐことができるようになりました。

I got to see sea turtles, and they were so cute! Kyō-chan (the guide) immediately took us to see the sea turtles as soon as they were spotted, and also guided us to see other fish.
Everything was fun, but especially the Pumpkin Cave was a truly valuable experience. There’s a joy that you can’t understand unless you go! What that is will be a surprise for when you visit!

In the morning, we visited the Pumpkin Cave, and in the afternoon, we had a full day of activities with sea turtle snorkeling, which was incredibly satisfying! Our guide was a lively young man from Osaka, and his explanations were very clear. He also took many great photos with a high-quality camera. I really appreciated having him as our guide.
The Pumpkin Cave in the morning allowed us to experience the wonders and mysteries of nature. In the afternoon, the sea turtle snorkeling left us in awe of the beautiful waters of Miyako Island, and we were thrilled to encounter sea turtles. We also got to see clownfish and various other fish, which was fantastic. The photos he took were all excellent, and I find myself reminiscing while looking at them now.

Although the strong winds unfortunately led to the cancellation of the SUP, we were able to participate in the sea kayaking and pumpkin cave tour as scheduled. At the pumpkin cave, we had to climb over rocky areas with flowing water right from the entrance, which added to the sense of adventure. However, with the help of the staff, we managed to progress. The staff members were all incredibly nice! I highly recommend this activity!
風が強くSUPは残念ながら中止となってしまったものの、シーカヤック&パンプキン鍾乳洞は予定通り催行され参加できました。パンプキン鍾乳洞では入り口からいきなり水が流れる岩場を登らないといけなく探検感が満載でした。でもスタッフの方に手助け頂いてなんとか進むことが出来ました。スタッフの方々はとにかく良い人ばかりでしたよ！とてもオススメのアクティビティです！

I did this with my 7-year-old child. I was worried about doing it with my child, but once we tried it, it was so much fun.
Before we set off, the guide provided sufficient explanations, making it easy to operate the canoe. While listening to the detailed explanations, we were able to experience the mysterious ecosystem of the mangrove forest and various creatures, which was educational for my child as well. Canoeing through the mangrove forest was a special time for both my child and me.
The water buffalo cart entering Yubu Island felt peaceful, as if we were stepping into a painting. During the ride to the island, the guide explained the names and characteristics of the water buffalo, and we were able to greet them affectionately with my child.
On Yubu Island, we observed butterflies and saw other water buffalo. We also enjoyed special ice cream while gazing at the sea from a café. It was a perfect experience that satisfied both nature and culture.
I was able to create unforgettable memories for my child. If you're a family traveler, I highly recommend this experience. Thank you.

I had previously experienced snorkeling and diving but ended up feeling seasick. This time, I took medication after a long time and participated. When I first entered the sea, I was having fun and was completely absorbed. Gradually, I started to feel nauseous from the waves, and by the first break, I was already done. I couldn't get back in for the second time, which was disappointing. If I hadn't gotten seasick, I could have enjoyed it much more! I envy those who don't get seasick. But I'm glad I participated. My first experience with the clear kayak was filled with excitement. The weather was great, the sea was calm, and it was a wonderful experience. The instructor kept a close watch and even took photos for us. I was able to kayak to areas that I would have found a bit scary to go to on my own. It was a valuable experience thanks to the instructor's focus on safety. Right after the approximately one-hour kayaking experience, they created a digest video combining photos and drone footage and shared it with us immediately, which surprised and moved me at the same time.
In the clear kayak, you can see corals and colorful tropical fish clearly beneath the bottom of the boat.

I felt the old-fashioned atmosphere on the water buffalo cart in Yufu Island, and during my stroll in the park, I was touched by the unique air woven from tradition and nature. Later, while stand-up paddleboarding through the mangroves, it felt like gliding through a green tunnel, and I was moved by the depth of nature that I usually can't see! In the morning, I went kayaking to the Pumpkin Cave, and in the afternoon, I went snorkeling to see sea turtles! The guide smoothly instructed us on how to paddle the kayak, walk through the cave, and the best spots to enjoy while snorkeling, which made it a lot of fun. As a 50-year-old man traveling alone, I participated on the last day of my two-night, three-day trip, utilizing the morning hours since my flight was in the evening.
When I toured the mainland, I noticed that the sea wasn't as clear as I had expected, which made me wonder. When I asked at the rental car shop, they explained that Okinawa experiences a lot of rain showers, and when rainwater rushes down from the mountains into the sea, it can get murky.
They mentioned that sometimes you just have bad timing. I was feeling disappointed and debated canceling my snorkeling plans, but I thought the Kerama Islands would be fine. When I arrived, I was surprised to see the bottom about 10 meters down from the boat! I couldn't help but exclaim, "What!?"
Once I got into the water, it was so clear that it completely changed my perspective on life; I could see endlessly, so even though it was deep, I wasn't scared at all! Instead, I was captivated by the beauty, and my heart was racing the entire time!
Even as a solo traveler, the instructor was very engaging, and I had a wonderful time! 🎵

本土で観光地を回った時に海が思っていた程透明感が無く、あれ？って思ってレンタカー屋さんに聞いたら、沖縄はスコールが多くて、山から一気に海に雨水が流れ込むと濁るんだそうです。
タイミング悪いとこんな日もありますよと。
ガッカリしていたので、シュノーケリングはキャンセルしようかと悩みましたが、慶良間諸島は大丈夫だろうと半信半疑で来てみたら、船の上から10メートルくらいの底が見えてる！え！？って思わず声が出ました。
海の中へ入ったらもう人生観変わるくらい透明でどこまでも見えるから深くても怖く無い！
むしろ美しさに心が鷲掴みにされて頭がずっとバクってました！
おじさん1人でもインストラクターの方が相手してくれるのでとても楽しめましたよ🎵

The weather was wonderful, and both parasailing and snorkeling were amazing experiences!
I was worried about getting seasick since I’m prone to it, but thanks to the calm sea, I hardly felt any seasickness and was able to enjoy the scenery. The wait for parasailing was long, but I had no complaints as I could enjoy the beautiful sea while waiting! Snorkeling was also fantastic; I was surprised by how many fish there were in the crystal-clear water!
It might be a good idea to use the restroom beforehand since there’s no break during the activities.
天気にも恵まれ、パラーセルもシュノーケルも最高の体験になりました！
船酔いしやすいので、心配していましたが、穏やかな海だったおかげで、船酔いもほぼせず、景色を楽しむことができました。
パラーセルは待ち時間は長いものの、その間きれいな海を見ながら待機できるので、文句なしです！
シュノーケルも、こんなに魚がいるのかと驚くほど、透き通った海で、最高でした！
お手洗いに行く暇もなく、ぶっ続けなので、そこだけ先に済ませておくのがよいかもしれません。

The day before, I received a call saying that due to the tides, we couldn't go to the Pumpkin Cave. Instead, I was allowed to choose between stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) or canoeing. I was impressed by how quickly they processed the refund for the difference on the same day.
On the day of the tour, we gathered at the parking lot at 8:30 AM. The staff member, Yamato, greeted us with a refreshing attitude. He was very kind, and his explanations were thorough and reassuring, allowing us to enjoy snorkeling without any worries. That day, we were lucky enough to encounter clownfish and a sea turtle! The staff member even took photos with us, diving multiple times to capture the moments. Thank you so much!
After snorkeling, we were scheduled for canoeing, but since SUP looked more enjoyable, we decided to switch. Despite the last-minute change, they welcomed us with a smile and said, "That's fine!" (Thank you!). The weather was great, with a light breeze, making the SUP experience absolutely delightful! My husband was also very satisfied with the change to SUP. They casually took photos for us, and I was surprised later to see how many they had sent!
It's been a while since I've joined a tour like this, but the hospitality was top-notch, and I'm very glad I chose this tour. Thank you, refreshing Yamato!
前日に、潮の関係でパンプキン鍾乳洞に行けなくなったと電話で連絡がありました。行けなくなった代わりに、サップかカヌーを選ばせてもらいました。差額分の返金もその日のうちにしてくれて、対応が早いなと思いました。
当日は朝8:30に駐車場で集合。スタッフのお兄さん(ヤマトさん)が爽やかに対応してくれました。
とても親切で、説明も丁寧でしっかりしていたので安心してシュノーケリングできました。その日は運良く、クマノミとウミガメと遭遇！一緒に写真撮影してくれたのですが、スタッフのお兄さん、何回も潜って一生懸命撮影してくれました👏🥹ありがとうございます！
その後はカヌーの予定だったのですが、サップのが気持ちよさそうだったのでサップに。急遽変更にも関わらず、嫌な顔1つナシで「いいですよ〜︎^_^」と快く対応してくれました(ありがとうございます！)
サップは天気も良くて風も少しあって、最高に気持ちよかったです！旦那もサップに変更して良かったねと大満足でした︎。さりげなく写真も撮ってくれて、後から写真送っていただいてこんなに撮ってくれてたんだ！と驚きました笑
こういったツアーは久しぶりですが、ホスピタリティ高くて、こちらのツアーを選んで良かったと大満足です。爽やかお兄さん(ヤマトさん)ありがとうございました！

It was the best experience to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island! Canoeing through the mangroves was very mystical and moving! The guide was entertaining, making the journey enjoyable. I also made wonderful memories riding a water buffalo cart across the sea on Yubu Island. I was very satisfied with all the photos taken.

It was all of my friends' first experience with SUP, and we had an amazing time learning from our instructor, Soma, in the beautiful waters of Miyako Island! Everyone got hooked on the fun of SUP and fell in love with the stunning sea of Miyako Island! I want to do SUP again when I go back to Miyako Island!
