There were boats selling oden and grilled squid, so buying and eating those would enhance the atmosphere and make it even more enjoyable! I want to ride this in every season!

Just a few days ago, there was strong wind, so we missed the peak of the autumn leaves, but we enjoyed the beautiful maple trees along the river for two hours. The water was quite shallow, and the boatman, while out of breath, entertained us with plenty of humor. We hardly got splashed at all.

4,100 yen seemed a bit expensive at first, but we were very satisfied with the entertainment provided by the three boatmen over the two hours. I would love to visit again in a different season.

つい3,4日前に強風があったこともあり、紅葉の季節を外れてしまいましたが、ところどころ美しいもみじの川辺を、2時間かけてくだりました。水深がかなり低く、舵を取る船頭さんも、息を切らしながらそれでもユーモワーたっぷりの会話で楽しませてもらいました。水しぶきはほとんどかかりませんでした。
4100円最初は高いかなとおもいましたが、3人の船頭さんが2時間かけてのエンターティメントにだいまんぞくでした。また違う季節に行ってみたいです。

I participated on Saturday, November 20th. There was only a 9 AM departure, but it was great to start early in the morning. I think four boats left at the same time.

The check-in was set up exclusively for Veltra, and I was able to board smoothly. We were in the front row with four people, but there was a plastic cover, so we didn't get wet.

There were some rapids here and there, but it seemed like the water level was low that day, so we didn't get splashed too much. The autumn leaves were at their peak, and I enjoyed a boat trip of just under two hours.

11月20日土曜に参加しました。時間が9時便しかなかったのですが、朝一でよかったです。同じ時間に4隻は出ていたと思います。
受付はベルトラ専用に用意されていて、スムーズに乗船できました。

The reservation did not have a specific time, so when I arrived around 6:30, I was told that the 7 PM slots were fully booked. If it's possible to make a reservation instead of waiting in line, having a specified time would be nice. When I returned at the designated 8 PM, I was able to board. A heads up for those who are short on time!

Due to the weather, we couldn't go out on the lake and ended up having a canoe experience at the river mouth. The staff were kind and friendly, but it was disappointing that the water was murky and we couldn't see any fish. I would like to participate again in the summer if there’s another opportunity.

I started with a raincoat due to concerns about the weather, but it gradually improved, leading to a comfortable kayaking experience. Paddling down the Chitose River flowing from Lake Shikotsu, the return course was gentle, and under the guidance of the instructor, I was amazed by the clear bottom and the non-decaying trees submerged beneath the water. It was a delightful time passing through the shade of the trees and navigating between them. It was a pity that there were some waves preventing us from reaching Lake Shikotsu, but I look forward to enjoying it again.

雨の心配もありカッパを着けてスタートしたが、お天気は次第に良くなり快適なカヤック体験となった。支笏湖から流れる千歳川を下り、折り返すコースは穏やかながら、インストラクターの指導もよろしく、大変透明な底に沈む腐食しない木々に驚きつつ、木陰くぐり、木のあいだ通過など楽しいひとときとなった。少し波があって支笏湖に出られなかったのは残念だったが、またの楽しみとしたい。

I participated in the 6:00 PM Hakata Bay cruise. There were only three participants, including myself. Thanks to that, I felt safe and was able to relax. Although it was a bit early for the night view, we were able to see a beautiful sunset. The view of Hakata Tower, Fukuoka Tower, and PayPay Dome from the sea is quite different from what you see from land. I would like to see the night view next time.

On the day, due to strong winds and high waves, we only went on the river instead of the lake, but with the clear kayak, we could really feel the transparency up close. I felt refreshed being close to the wind, greenery, and water. The staff were also kind, and it was fun.

However, it was stated to be two hours, but with the explanation and moving around, we were actually on the kayak for about 40 to 45 minutes, which felt short for the price.

It was a refreshing experience that I would like to do again.

Due to the impact of the typhoon the previous day, it was uncertain whether the tour would take place until the morning of the event. However, thanks to our guide, Mr. Tawak, who was very considerate and knowledgeable about the river's flow at different times, we were able to find a spot where we could kayak safely and enjoy the experience.

I heard that when the weather is good, the river turns an emerald green and you can go further upstream, but as promised before departure, we had plenty of fun "going as far as we could!" We also enjoyed freshly brewed coffee at a stop along the way, jumped off rocks into the river, and swam under the clear blue sky and green mountains after the typhoon. Thanks to Mr. Tawak's warm hospitality, we had a truly satisfying kayaking and river play experience.

It was so much fun. Thank you!

前日の台風の影響で、当日朝までツアーが催行されるか分からない状況でしたが、ガイドの田脇さんが色々ご配慮下さり、時間ごとの川の流れを熟知されていたお陰で、私達でも漕げる場所を探してくださり、無事カヤック体験をすることができました。
天候の良い時なら川の色もエメラルドグリーンで、もっと上流まで行けたと伺いましたが、出発前の約束どおり「行けるところまで！」で充分楽しめましたし、途中上陸した場所での淹れたてコーヒーや、岩からジャンプして川に飛び込んで泳いだりと、台風一過の青空と緑の山々、田脇さんのホスピタリティ溢れるお人柄のお陰で大満足のカヤック&川遊びが体験できました。
とっても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました！

I was able to see the distant night view from the river to the sea, including the Port Tower and Bayside Place.

However, it was difficult to make plans because the departure was not on time, and half of the passengers were not wearing masks. The passengers who were not wearing masks sang along with the guide's enthusiastic performance, which made me anxious about the risk of COVID-19 and distracted me from enjoying the night view. There was also no briefing on life jackets, making it an unsettling cruise. The saxophone performance I heard in the waiting area before departure was wonderful.

川から海の方まで出てポートタワーやベイサイドプレイスまで、遠くの夜景を観ることができた。

ただ、時間通りに出航しない為予定が立てづらいことや、乗客の半数がマスクをしていなかったこと、
案内役の熱唱に合わせてマスクをしていない乗客達が歌っていたことでコロナ感染が怖くて夜景に集中出来なかった。
救命胴衣の案内などもなく、不安なクルーズだった。
出航前に待合所で聴いたサックス演奏は素晴らしかった。

It was just a little over 30 minutes, but it was a nice cruise that also served as an evening cool-down. We started by going up the river where the food stalls were beginning to set up, and then headed out to sea. It seems we were fortunate with the weather and conditions that day, as we were able to see the beautiful water quality of Lake Shikotsu from our kayaks amidst stunning scenery. The guide was very kind, and I learned a lot about Lake Shikotsu. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and thorough the conversation was. All the staff members were always smiling, and we truly had a wonderful time. The infection control measures were also thorough, so I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Hokkaido.

On the day of the trip, it was quite windy and rainy in the morning, but when we arrived at the location, we were greeted by blue skies, warm weather, and a moment when the wind stopped and the waves were completely calm, allowing us to see beautifully down to the deep bottom. It was also the first time this year that we saw it, and through the clear kayak, we encountered a large, bright blue river master (carp), which was a mystical and wonderful experience. Thank you to our guide for being so kind and teaching us various things. On the way back, we stopped by Marukoma Onsen, where we received a discount coupon, and the open-air bath close to the lake surface was spectacular and enjoyable. My daughter and I had a lovely little trip together.

On Tuesday, October 27th, around 6 PM, I visited Hakata for work and used the service alone. The timing was perfect as the sun was setting, and the illuminated signs reflecting on the river and the night view were very beautiful. I thought the 30-minute cruise would only go along the Nakasu River, but we actually ventured out towards the sea, which made it quite windy and cold. I traveled to Fukuoka for a one-night, two-day trip with a friend. I thought we would just be on the boat for about 30 minutes, but we were actually comforted by the singing of a 23-year-old guy who sang songs by Machaaaki and Ichiro Toba. The reason it wasn't perfect was that it was unexpectedly cold on the boat. Even with a blanket, I was shivering for 30 minutes in late October. But it was really great.

I participated with my mother in her 70s. I was worried about whether it would be okay without much stamina and if we would tip over, but those concerns were completely unnecessary. They provided us with free raincoats and Crocs, so our clothes didn't get wet.

Since it was a windy day, we mainly enjoyed the calm Chitose River. The shimmering green surface of the water and the transparent riverbed seen from the bottom of the kayak were truly beautiful.

With the guidance of a friendly and kind young man, we got to experience a bit of an exploratory feeling, and it was great to briefly venture out to Lake Shikotsu at the end and enjoy the atmosphere of the lake. My mother was also excitedly paddling away and was really happy, saying she had a lot of fun.

There were only two groups participating, so the water was not crowded, allowing us to take off our masks and breathe in the fresh air. Of course, masks and sanitization were in place inside the store before and after kayaking for infection prevention.

I couldn't use the free bathing ticket for Marukoma Onsen due to timing, so I'll save that for my next visit to Lake Shikotsu. I would love to try kayaking and diving again at Lake Shikotsu when there's no wind.

気さくで優しいお兄さんの案内でちょっぴり探検気分を味わえたり、最後に少しだけ支笏湖にも出て湖の雰囲気も体験出来て良かったです。
母も張り切ってグイグイ漕いで、本当に楽しかったと喜んでいました。
参加時は2組だけで、水上は密ではないためマスクを外して美味しい空気をたくさん吸えました。カヤック前後の店内ではもちろんマスク、消毒で感染対策してありました。
丸駒温泉の無料入浴券が、時間が合わず使えなかったので次に支笏湖に来た時のお楽しみにします。風のない時の支笏湖でまたカヤックやダイビングをしてみたいです。
