The cheerful, efficient, and friendly tour guide spoke beautiful English and skillfully managed participants who tended to act independently in a multicultural group, sometimes offering support and at other times taking a hands-off approach. Every stop was full of sights, and I was very satisfied. The lunch set with sashimi was delicious, and at Cape Hedo, you can get very close to the sheer cliffs. ASUMUI allows you to enjoy the rocky terrain even with average physical fitness (it is safely maintained while preserving nature, so there’s no risk of getting lost). I saw the Okinawa rail for the first time. There is no other bus tour as fulfilling as this one.

キレイな英語を話す明るくテキパキ、フレンドリーなサーファー風のお姉さん添乗員さんが、多国籍で自分勝手に行動しがちな参加者達を、時に寄り添い、時に放任主義で侠気溢れる引率をしてくれました。立ち寄り場所はどこも見所が多く大変満足。ランチの刺身定食はしっかり美味しく、辺戸岬は断崖絶壁の間近まで行けるし、ASUMUIは普通の体力でも屹立する岩肌を楽しめる(極力自然を残しつつも安全に整備されており迷うような場所ではない)。ヤンバルクイナ初めて見ました。
これほど充実したバスツアーは他に無い。

Taki's passion for the area and his thoughtful guidance truly made the tour special.

We cannot recommend this tour—and especially Taki—highly enough. If you're visiting Abashiri and want a meaningful, well-curated adventure, this is absolutely the way to go.

Moreover, on that day, I was the only participant in the afternoon tour of Shiratani Unsuikyo Mossy Forest. It was just me and one guide, so I had a personal guide and photographer. They led me at my own pace, took many photos at the scenic spots, and I was able to hear explanations about the trees and moss in the forest, as well as various stories about Yakushima. Since I had to take a detour, it took two hours to go and an hour and a half to return. Taking photos along the way served as breaks.

The weather was such that not a single drop of rain fell, so the ground was dry and easy to walk on. In mid-April, the temperature was just warm enough to break a light sweat at times. I was enjoying myself, but honestly, while walking, I thought, "I have to walk this path again to get back." I might have even mentioned this to the guide. However, the return trip felt quicker, so it was all good.

I usually work in an office and am a beginner at mountain climbing, so I was worried about my stamina before the tour. However, thanks to Sasaki's pacing with breaks and lending us shoe spikes when the snow made the path slippery, we were able to reach our destination safely without any injuries.

Throughout the tour, I honestly struggled to keep up rather than fully enjoying nature, but the entire experience, including the journey itself, was valuable. Thank you very much, Sasaki.

The feeling of awe and accomplishment when looking up at Jomon Sugi was overwhelming, but I also felt more fatigued than I expected, so I highly recommend this tour that includes hotel pick-up. I would like to build my stamina and repeat this experience during the fresh green season!

わちゃわちゃ写真撮影している時間の方が長かった？かも？
"こだま"という小さなアイテムを持ってきていて、すてきな写真が取れました。
逆に言うと、映え写真に興味のない方には、”また、撮影～？”と思うかもしれません。私がそうなのですが、、、
ただ、ホスピタリティ溢れるガイドさんで、参加してよかったです。

On March 22, we were blessed with wonderful weather, making it the perfect day for trekking. There were six of us in the group, and the guide was attentive and kind, considering the participants' fitness levels and adjusting the pace accordingly. Everyone in the group was nice, and we enjoyed walking together throughout the long journey. Even when it was tough, I think we were able to go and come back thanks to the guide's support. Jomon Sugi is truly breathtaking. The guide took many photos for us, and being a professional, he knew all the best photo spots and had great compositions. If you're someone who thinks of this as a once-in-a-lifetime visit, I highly recommend joining a tour, as you might miss some highlights if you go on your own.

出発前には雨の状況を考え途中までしか行けないかも知れないと説明があり、もしかしたらふたつ目の沢も渡れないかも知れないが行ってみないとわからないとの事でした。それでも楽しんで欲しいと言うガイドさんの親切丁寧な説明がいっぱいあり嬉しかったです。結果的にはふたつ目の沢はすでに増水していて危険との事で断念しました。
予定通り太鼓岩まで行けていたら、せめて苔むすの森まで行けていたら、雨が降ってなかったら、と思う気持ちは残りましたが雨の中だから見れた苔の美しさ、水の怖さ、ガイドさんの説明、すべてで満足出来ました。
体力的に厳しいと思いますがまた行く機会があれば同じツアーで同じガイドさんにお願いしたいと思います。

その後も、シカのポーズで写真を撮ろうと言われ、その通りにすると、「メスはツノが生えないんだよ、だから2人は男性ホルモンが多いんだね」と言われたり、転んで尻餅をつくと「お尻なでなでするわけにはいかないもんねぇ？」など他にも気持ち悪いことを言われたり、触られそうになりました。
また、自然を楽しみたかったのに自分の話ばかりしたり、必要以上に話しかけてきて、せっかく綺麗な森にいるのに台無しでした。ツアーの目的地に着いて、好きなだけいていいよと言われましたが、1秒でも早く下山してガイドの人と離れたかったので、もういいですと言うと、苔のよさはまだわからないかぁ、もったいないなあと言われ、ガイドがこの人ではなかったら私たちだってこんな風にならなかったのに。本当に最悪でした。
これらを直接言えたらよかったのですが、参加者か私たちだけだったのと、私たちがまだ若いので言っても流されて聞いてもらえないだろうなと諦めてしまいました。

Since it was a small group, we could hear the guide's explanations clearly even from the back, and they made sure to consider our pace as well as that of the other group, avoiding overlaps at photo spots and rest areas (especially restrooms). It felt like we were the only ones on the tour. The guide pointed out areas to be careful about along the way, and we successfully completed the 10-hour hike. I'm truly grateful to A. Being able to see the very mystical Jomon Sugi shrouded in mist became a lifelong memory.

I wanted to see Jomon Sugi at least once in my life, so I decided to join the tour alone. I hadn't done much hiking since elementary school, and I usually only walk about 4,000 to 5,000 steps a day, so I was very anxious.

About 60 to 70% of the trail was paved with wooden boards, but since it was March, it was quite slippery as we approached the summit, and some people fell.

It was a long journey, but encouraging each other with the group and walking in the magnificent nature of Yakushima to see the majestic Jomon Sugi was an incredible feeling of accomplishment! The guide welcomed us warmly from the moment we met and took many photos for us. I felt like our group was relatively young, so we might have walked a bit faster than other guides, but I think it was good that we were able to walk at a comfortable pace.

人生で1回は縄文杉を見てみたいと思い1人で参加を決めました。私は登山も小学校以来したことがほぼなく、普段も4〜5,000歩ほどしか歩いていなかったため、とても不安でした。

In reality, the group was organized mainly with people of similar ages and other solo participants, which eased my mind. もっとゆっくり景色を見たかった思いはあるのですが、日帰りであの距離を、、、と思うとこればかりはどうしようもありません。
長い長いトロッコ道でしたが、行きはヘッドライトで暗い中をこわごわ歩いてわからなかった景色が、帰りに「この中を歩いてたんだ」、と新鮮に思えたのも感動でした。

Asumi Spiritual involves quite a bit of walking on rocky mountains, so I think it's pretty tough. Plus, going around everything is a race against time. Even for someone like me who enjoys visiting historical sites and is used to mountain climbing, I found myself cutting it close to the meeting time while taking photos and videos.

It would be great if there were options for those who stay here and those who go to Yanbaru. For those staying, if they could be picked up on the way back from Yanbaru, I think even those without much stamina could manage.
