I participated in mid-March. Although it rained heavily in the evening, it stopped by the time the tour started, and I was able to join without any issues. When I asked about the probability of encountering coconut crabs during the trip, the response was somewhat low, but in the end, we encountered coconut crabs multiple times, and I was able to see almost everything I wanted, including land hermit crabs and scorpions. We walked through the jungle to the coast, and they provided explanations about the plants and terrain. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the starry sky, so I would like to participate again if I have the chance.

夕方に運転が難しいほどの雨が降りましたがツアー開始時には雨も上がり無事に参加できました。移動中に本日のヤシガニとの遭遇確率を質問したところやや低めの回答でしたが、結果としてヤシガニも何度も遭遇し、他にもオカヤドカリやサソリモドキなど見たいものはほぼ見れました。ジャングルを抜けて海岸まで歩き、植物や地形の説明もしてくれます。残念ながら星空を見ることが出来ませんでしたので、機会があればまた参加したいと思います。

I joined the tour hoping to catch 2 or 3 wakasagi and take some pictures, but once we started fishing, we kept catching more and more, and before we knew it, we had caught 50 fish between the two of us. The tempura was delicious as well. The staff were very accommodating, which made for a relaxing experience. The guide's stories were enjoyable, making it a memorable tour. I'm really glad I participated in the wakasagi fishing tour!
ワカサギを2,3匹釣って写真が撮れたらいいな…と思いツアーに参加したのですが、釣り始めたらどんどん釣れて楽しくなり気付けば2人で50匹も釣っていました。
天ぷらも美味しくいただきました。
スタッフの方々の対応も良く安心して過ごせました。ガイドの方のお話も楽しく思い出に残るツアーとなりました。

The starry sky was magnificent, and the guide was amazing. The moment the lights were turned off all at once, the starry sky became a lifelong memory. The Milky Way and shooting stars were incredible. I felt like a child again seeing creatures like the coconut crab and fireflies that I usually can't see. I also learned a lot from the guide about the names of the creatures and delicious local foods in Ishigaki. I was most moved by the young man who is working hard after moving here. Thank you very much.
満天の星空、ヤシガニ、蛍、ガイドさん最高でした。
一斉にライトを消した瞬間の星空は一生の思い出です。天の川、流れ星、最高でした。
普段見る事の出来ないヤシガニや蛍などの生物がろいろいて童心に帰りました。

I joined to see the coconut crab. I thought it would depend on luck, but I was able to see four of them. How lucky! The excitement of walking through the jungle at night, combined with the guide's excellent guidance and the starry sky, made for an amazing experience. On the bus to and from the location, the guide shared recommendations for shops, so we were fortunate to participate on the first day. This time, I attended with my wife, but I also want to take our children next time.
ヤシガニを観たくて参加しました。
運次第かな？と思っていましたが、ヤシガニを4匹も見ることが出来ました。なんてラッキー。夜のジャングルを歩くワクワク感、ガイドさんの絶妙な案内に加え満天の星空も観ることができ最高の体験でした。
行き帰りのバスでガイドさんからオススメのお店など教えてもらったので、初日に参加した私達はツイてました。
今回は妻と二人の参加でしたが、子供達も連れて行ってあげたいと思いました。

I participated because I wanted to see various creatures and also observe the starry sky on Ishigaki Island for the first time. The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, and lying on the sandy beach to watch it was the best! The main focus was searching for coconut crabs, and I encountered four of them, including a rare baby coconut crab! The kids also had a great time, so it was wonderful. From the meeting point at the remote island terminal, it takes about 40 minutes north to observe a sky full of stars along the coast. After that, you can stroll through the forest and limestone caves, looking for insects, animals, and plants. You can enjoy tracking with a guide while listening to explanations about the coconut crabs and bats of Ishigaki Island. However, the explanations about the stars may be somewhat lacking, so if you want to fully enjoy the night sky, I recommend joining a different tour.
集合場所の離島ターミナルから北へ40分、海岸から満天の星を観察できます。そのあと、森と鍾乳洞を散策して昆虫や動物、植物を見つけて歩きます。石垣島のヤシガニ、蝙蝠などなどガイドさんの説明を聞きながら楽しくトラッキングができます。その分星の説明はおざなりなところもあり、がっつり星空を楽しみたい方は別のツアーに参加することを勧めます。

We participated as a family with a 6-year-old child and parents in their 60s. I was worried because the weather was bad and it was drizzling, but the guide's talk was interesting, and we enjoyed ourselves on the way to the location.
The site was exciting as we ventured into a dark, deep forest that ordinary people can't enter. Walking through caves and rocky areas was also fun. We were able to see about three coconut crabs, which was our main goal. We also found frogs and insects, and my sons, who love insects and reptiles, were thrilled. Although we couldn't see the starry sky due to the rain, there were so many trees that the light rain didn't bother us, and we were very satisfied with the tour.
６歳の子どもと６０代の父母との家族での参加でした。天気が悪く雨がちらついていたため不安でしたが、ガイドさんのトークも面白く、現地に向かう道中から楽しめました。
現地は、普通の人は入っていけないような真っ暗な深い森の中を進んでいき、とてもわくわくしました。洞窟や岩場を歩くのも面白かったです。お目当てのヤシガニも３匹ほど見ることができました。他にもカエルや虫を見つけて、昆虫やは虫類が大好きな息子たちは大喜びでした。雨のため星空は見れませんでしたが木がたくさんあるので、小雨も気にならず大満足のツアー内容でした。

The tour guides kept us entertained with many fun stories during both the outbound and return trips, and I learned a lot of things I didn't know, making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy this time, so we couldn't see the starry sky, but I hope to see many stars next time I participate. The other highlight, the coconut crab, was diligently found by the tour guides, and we were able to take pictures together. Before going, I couldn't imagine what it would be like and was somewhat skeptical, but once I was taken to the site and went on the adventure, it was even more enjoyable than I had imagined, and I had a truly valuable experience. Thank you to all the staff.
ツアーの担当者の方々は、行きも帰りも車内の中で楽しい話をたくさんしてくださり、知らなかったこともたくさん聞けて最初から最後まで盛りだくさんに楽しませていただきました。
今回は、天気が曇りだったので残念ながら星空は観ることが出来ませんでしたが、次回参加した時には星空がたくさん観れたら嬉しいなと思っています。
もう一つの目玉のヤシガニはツアーの担当者の方々が一生懸命見つけてくださり一緒に写真を撮ることも出来ました。

It was a fun three hours! During the drive, the guide shared a lot of interesting facts about Ishigaki Island, so I was never bored until the end. The tour itself can be affected by the weather and luck on the day, but this time we were fortunate to have clear skies and see a beautiful starry night.
楽しい3時間でした！車での移動時間もガイドさんが石垣島豆知識をたくさんお話してくれたので最後まで飽きることなくすごせました。ツアー自体は当日の天気と運に左右されますが、今回は運良く晴れて綺麗な星空をみることができました。

I was a bit anxious about traveling alone as a university student, but the guide was very kind, and I was fortunate to have great fellow tour participants, which made the tour enjoyable from start to finish.

I joined the tour after my dad, who is around retirement age, decided to quit. Although we couldn't see the coconut crabs or the starry sky on this tour, it was surprisingly fun and a bit wild, and I was very satisfied. We explored the bushes and rocky areas, searching for animals.
At the beach, when we turned off the lights, experiencing the darkness that we usually can't feel was also a fun memory. Above all, the guide was great, explaining various things and even taking photos for us, making it a fun and quick tour.

Unfortunately, the weather on the day of our visit was bad, and we couldn't see the stars at all. However, we were able to find many creatures, and the kids were very excited. We were lucky to find two snakes that are said to be very rare. We also saw four coconut crabs. But what excited me the most was the taro plant; I was moved and thought, "It's Totoro!" The day before was really cold, and I was wondering how it would turn out, but on the day of the tour, the cold eased a bit, and I was able to participate in the night tour!
The tour truly gives you the thrill of moving through the jungle and reaching the sea. We searched for the coconut crab with everyone in the group, but... we ended up not finding any. However, it was fun to meet the coconut crab that another group found.
In winter, it's cold, and the chances of seeing coconut crabs are low, but I think the joy of searching with just one flashlight is something you can't experience often.
The stories from the tour guides were enjoyable, and I learned about the lives of the residents of Ishigaki Island and their recommended places. I rated it four stars because I want to participate again in the summer when there are lots of coconut crabs out! I'll get my revenge!!!

I participated because I wanted to see the starry sky. On the day of the event, it was cloudy, and I thought there might be only a 10% chance of seeing the stars, but luckily, the clouds cleared, and I was able to see shooting stars!
As we moved through nature (almost a jungle) with just one flashlight, there was a nice thrill, and I felt like an explorer. It seems that in summer, there are more active creatures to see, but even in winter, I was able to discover about five different types.
It was fun to line up with all the participants and search for creatures while shining our lights around.
星空が見たくて参加しました。当日は曇り、星空指数10%で見えないかも、と思っていましたが、運良く雲が流れ流れ星も見ることができました！
自然の中（ほぼジャングル）を懐中電灯１つで進んでいくので、程よいスリルもあり探検家気分を味わえます。冬よりも夏の方が生き物が活発になってたくさん見れるそうですが、冬でも5種類ほど発見することができました。
参加者みんなで一列に並び、あちこちを照らしながら生き物を探し、楽しかったです。

It was a cold day, so I couldn't meet the coconut crab, but when I looked up at the sky, countless stars were shining. I was overwhelmed by the number of stars that can't be seen in the city; it was an amazing experience. The sheer number of stars made me feel like I was on a jungle adventure, creating memories that I had never experienced before.
This time I came with friends, but I want my family to enjoy this experience when we visit Ishigaki Island again.
寒い日だったのでヤシガニと会うことは出来ませんでしたが、空を見上げてみると無数の星が輝いていました。街では見られない星の数に圧倒され、とても最高な経験でした。都会では見れない星の数に感動でジャングル探検みたいな感じも味わったことのない経験で、かなりの思い出になりました。
今回は友達と来たので、家族で再び石垣島に来た際には家族にも味わってもらいたい経験でした。

I participated with my 3-year-old and 5-year-old children. It was nighttime and drizzling lightly. The kids wore thin long sleeves and raincoats, while the adults wore thin long sleeves with ultra-light down jackets and a thicker long-sleeve sweatshirt. Since we were in Okinawa, I thought it would be fine to dress a bit lighter as we would warm up while walking. By the way, the guide's shorts had an incredibly cute pattern.
Although the weather was bad and we couldn't see the stars, we were still able to discover many animals and plants, which made for a high overall satisfaction. There are limited activities available for a 3-year-old, but I recommend this tour. However, I think it would be tough to carry them, so it's best if they can walk on their own or have a baby carrier.
3歳と5歳の子ども連れで参加しました。夜で小雨も降っていました。子どもは薄めの長袖にレインコート、大人は薄めの長袖にウルトラライトダウン、厚めの長袖トレーナー1枚で参加しました。沖縄ですし、歩いて温かくなるので気持ち薄手の恰好で良いかと思います。ちなみに案内役のお兄さんの半ズボンがめちゃくちゃかわいい柄でした。
天候が悪く星は見ることができませんでしたが、それでも動物・植物をたくさん発見できて全体的に満足度が高かったです。3歳だと参加できるアクティビティが限られますがこのツアーはオススメです。ただし抱っこしながらはしんどいと思うので、自力で歩いてもらうか、抱っこ紐必須だと思います。

It was drizzling, and we couldn't see the stars, but that allowed us to thoroughly explore the jungle for creatures during the tour. On the shuttle bus heading to the jungle, the guide provided a lot of explanations, making the time spent very exciting.

It was a windy and cold day, so unfortunately, I couldn't see the coconut crabs, but the clouds were blown away by the wind, revealing the best starry sky. I might have enjoyed it even more if I had studied the winter constellations beforehand. I want to participate in a different season next time!

When I moved from Ishigaki City to the western tip of the island, I was able to see the starry sky on a cloudy day with light rain at the beach! It's indeed difficult to see coconut crabs in winter, but I had no regrets as I could observe them up close at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. The energetic guide who introduced us to various spots from the forest to the beach was also well-received. ^^
