I had an absolutely wonderful time. First, we each took turns riding and moved inside the enclosure while holding the reins. There, we received simple instructions on how to operate, and we rode a few laps inside the enclosure. The teaching was thorough and easy to understand, and I gradually got the hang of it despite being inexperienced.

Then, we all went on a tour around the large grounds, visiting various places. Along the way, the staff took photos and videos, making it an incredibly enjoyable experience. There were moments when we ran or made big movements, which added a thrilling element, but I had so much fun riding that I wanted to do it again and wished I could ride for a longer time!

めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです。
まずは1人ずつ乗らせてもらって手綱を持って柵の中まで移動します。そこで簡単に操作を教わり、柵の中を数周しました。
教え方が丁寧でわかりやすく、慣れない中少しずつ出来てきました。
そうするとみんなで大きな敷地を周遊するようにいろんなところへ行きました。
道中はスタッフの方が写真や動画を撮ってくださり、めちゃくちゃいい体験になりました。
時折走ったり、大きく動くこともありスリリングなこともありましたが、楽しく乗馬出来て何度もやりたいと思いましたし、もっと長い時間乗っていたいなと思える体験でした！

This was my second horseback riding experience, and the instructors clearly taught me how to give commands to the horse within the enclosure. When we finally went outside the enclosure, the instructors provided precise advice on what to pay attention to, which made me feel like I was actually riding well. When I arrived at the location on the map, it was a prefab facility that I wouldn't recommend at all. The elderly man who greeted me with a cigarette in his mouth seemed to be the owner.

His first words were, "I wonder why everyone comes to ride such an uncomfortable vehicle." Wow, that's pretty harsh!

Well, there was no sense of safety regarding horseback riding either, and when I mentioned that I had been riding since I was eight, I got a nonsensical response that didn't lead to any conversation.

I highly recommend it for those who are looking for a hard-boiled experience from the Showa era!

As the title suggests, it was a wonderful experience that felt like a dream come true, exploring vast pastures.

I started horseback riding this January, but I'm still just a beginner. I've ridden about 50 times, and my wife has ridden around 80 times, managing to do a bit of a trot. Here, depending on the horse and the situation, I was able to enjoy a good amount of trotting and cantering. The trot was fine, but since I had no experience with cantering (I haven't mastered the two-point position), I managed to ride using a bit of practice.

It felt strange to see the pastures lush and green in October, but galloping across the green fields overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with great weather and a fantastic mood, was truly a dream-like experience. It felt like I was able to practice the equivalent of 10 or 20 rides at an urban riding school all at once, but by the end, I was getting tired and ready to head back, and I was sore for the next couple of days.

The horse I rode, called "Ryo-kun" (though I don't remember well), was a bit slow to respond to cues and sometimes seemed to resist, so perhaps he wasn't feeling his best. I felt a bit sorry for him for making him work for 90 minutes. When walking straight, he tilted his head slightly to the right, which made me think he might have been favoring his left leg.

He seemed quite hungry, as he started eating grass as soon as we entered the pasture and didn't want to move. This caused a gap between us and the lead horses, so I hurried to catch up, which led to a lot of trotting and cantering on my part. It was almost like he was deciding to trot and canter on his own rather than following my instructions. At one point, I felt a sharp pain in my left foot, possibly from stepping on something, and Ryo-kun jumped to the right, spinning almost three-quarters of the way around. It was a bit scary, but thankfully, the soft pasture cushioned the fall. I thought I should have checked Ryo-kun's left hoof area.

On the way back, we relaxed at Noboribetsu Onsen, and since the airport was relatively close, the return trip was easy.

Once I improve a bit more, I definitely want to go again.

タイトルどおり、広大な牧草地を巡るという、かねてから思い描いていた夢が叶ったような素敵な体験でした。

今年の１月に乗馬を始めたのですが、と言っても初心者に少し毛が生えた程度。私が５０鞍、家内が８０鞍、軽速歩がなんとかできる、かな、です。こちらでは、乗るお馬さんやその時々の状況にもよると思いますが、かなりの頻度で速歩に駆足と「乗馬」を堪能できました。速歩はまぁいいとして、駆足は未経験だったので（正反動はマスターしていない）少し練習していたツーポイント（腰を浮かせて乗る）でなんとか乗れました。

１０月に牧草が青々と茂っているのは不思議な気がしましたが、遥かに太平洋を望む緑の草原を馬に乗って駆け巡る、天気も良く、気分は最高、それこそ夢のような体験でした。そうですね、都会の馬場の１０鞍分か２０鞍分の練習が一気にできてしまったようで、でも後半は疲れも出てそろそろ帰りたい気分だったし、翌日も翌々日も筋肉痛で・・・。

乗せていただいたお馬さんは、「リョウくん」と呼ばれていたようなのですが（実はよく覚えていない）合図を出しても中々動かなかったり、時々「イヤイヤ」をしていたので、あるいは体調が今一だったのかもしれず、９０分も付き合わせてしまってなんだか可哀相だったのかもしれません。真っすぐ歩くときも首を少し右に向けていたので、重心を右に寄せて左足をかばっていたのか、素人考えですが、そんな気がしました。

よほどお腹が空いていたのか、牧草地に入ると草を食べ始めて中々動こうとしません。で、先導の馬さん達と間が空いてしまうので、慌てて追いつこうとして速歩＆駆足がでる。なのでこちらの指示ではなく自分からほぼほぼ速歩＆駆足になるのです。また、牧草地の真ん中で、何かを踏んだのか左足に激痛が走ったのか、右側に大きく飛びのき、そのまま３／４回転、一瞬怖かったですが、まぁそこはフカフカの牧草地、なんとかなりました。リョウくんの左足、蹄の辺りとか、診てあげればよかったかなと思いました。

帰りは登別温泉でゆっくり、空港も割と近いので、帰りも楽々。

もう少し上達したら、また是非行きたいですね。

This was my first time riding a rickshaw. I had a wonderful time for about an hour, thanks to the various considerations shown to me. While enjoying the view of the streets, I was impressed by the rickshaw driver's wide range of conversation. Not only did he share history and background, but he also studied simple greetings in English and Chinese to entertain inbound customers. What surprised me the most was the comparison between the Shiki Theatre Company and the rickshaw. I was moved by the confidence backed by his efforts when he mentioned, "The product is Kousei" (I forgot the kanji for the name). I seriously thought about whether rickshaws could be incorporated into employee training. I was touched by his professionalism.

人力車に初めて乗車。色々とお気遣い頂きながら、約1時間、楽しく過ごせました。
街並みを眺めながら、人力車のお兄さんのトークの幅の広さに感動。歴史や由来だけでなく、インバウンドのお客様に楽しんで頂くために、英語や中国語の簡単な挨拶を勉強されていたり。一番驚いたのは、劇団四季と人力車の比較。商品はコウセイ（お名前漢字を失念）です、と言う努力に裏付けされた自信に感動。
人力車を社員研修に取り入れられないか、と本気で思えました。プロ意識に感動です。

This time, I chose horseback riding with Moon River Horse as a birthday present. I felt fortunate that the timing finally matched during the most wonderful season of autumn foliage, when it was neither too hot nor too cold, despite the weather, sudden emergencies, and the horse getting injured.

Since it was in the mountains, Google Maps kept spinning and I couldn't reach the destination, arriving after the scheduled time while bothering them with phone calls. Nevertheless, they provided thorough explanations about the horses and shared the owner's journey to this point, answering all my many questions patiently. I usually act with plenty of time to spare, but I reflected on that this time.

I rode NANA, and the other horse was Biscuit. The owner had trained them very well; they were calm, and I was able to enjoy the experience safely throughout. At the end, we sanitized our hands, nervously fed them some carrots, and got to see their teeth (laughs). Finally, as a gesture of gratitude, I brushed them. I learned about the pressure points that horses find pleasurable, and by the end of these three hours, I had gained quite a bit of knowledge about horses.

As a present, it was greatly appreciated, and I enjoyed it myself as well. Together with the photos taken, it became the best memory.

山の中ですので、途中からGoogleマップがクルクル回り一向に辿り着かず、何度も電話して迷惑を掛けながら、予定を過ぎての到着。にも関わらず、丁寧な説明や、馬の事、オーナーご自身のここに至るまでの経緯等々・・私の沢山の質問にも１つ１つ丁寧にこたえて下さいました。元々何事にも時間的余裕を持って行動する性格なのですが、今回ばかりは反省しました。
私はNANAちゃん、もう一人はビスケットちゃん。オーナー様に大変躾よくされているのでしょう、大人しく、始終安心して楽しむことが出来ました。
最後には、手指消毒をし、人参を少し怖いながらもあげ、歯並びなども見せて頂きました（笑）。最後はお礼の意を込めてブラッシング。馬が気持ち良いとされるツボの位置まで教えて頂き、この3時間で馬の事が随分詳しくなれました。
プレゼントとしてもとても喜んで貰え、同時に私自身も楽しめ、撮って頂いた写真合わせて、最高の想い出となりました。

大変お世話になり、ありがとうございました。

On the day of the experience, we arrived on time, but the tour did not start at all. It seemed that the previous tour was delayed, and in the end, our tour started 40 minutes late. Since it was our last day of travel, I was very anxious, and for travelers with limited time, a 40-minute delay is significant. It seemed that our reservation had not been properly noted, as we were repeatedly asked, "Did you really make a reservation?" "When did you make the reservation?" "What course did you book?" It felt as if we were being blamed, creating an uneasy atmosphere even before the tour began.

Once the tour finally started, I felt sorry for the horses that were made to run while still tired from the previous tour. いざツアーが始まってからも、前のツアーで疲れた状態のお馬さんをそのまま走らせるのが気の毒でなりませんでした。ツアーそのものも、レクチャーも全くなく（事前にファイルブックを見せられただけでした）、グダグダな中で始まったので、頭の中にずっと疑問符が浮かんでいて、乗馬そのものをあまり楽しめませんでした。私たちは今回で３回目の乗馬だったのでなんとかなりましたが、初めての方だったら、さぞ戸惑うのではないかと思います。
ちなみに、ツアーが遅れて始まったことに対する謝罪はありませんでした（前のツアー参加者が遅れてきたせいだと言っていましたが、そんなこと聞かされるこちらの身になって頂きたいです）。
