At the end of the year, the number of COVID-19 cases in Okinawa began to rise, and I was worried because the implementation was on hold until the last minute. On the day of the tour, I extended my trip to the Ocean Road (by local bus) and then moved to the meeting place at Naha Port. Please be careful as there are not many routes available at Tomari Port.

During the cruise, there was a live performance of the ending theme song from the show "Kiteretsu Encyclopedia," which my daughter used to watch when she was a child, and it was a huge hit. The singing was also excellent.

I noticed many locals as well, and I thought this tour is loved by the community, not just tourists. It’s a cost-effective tour that I highly recommend.

While I understand that this is unavoidable, I am very disappointed as I had planned it as a birthday celebration. In a place where I have no familiarity, I had to quickly come up with another plan (since the cruise is not available with other companies in the prefecture, I switched to a hotel dinner, etc.).

For those considering using this plan for anniversaries or celebrations, I recommend confirming whether the tour is confirmed before making a reservation, as you may need to inquire to find out.

We participated in this sunset cruise as a family trip, coinciding with the timing of our younger child starting their career in spring. We were blessed with good weather on the day, enjoying our meal while gazing at the sparkling sea from the orange-tinted interior of the boat.

The food was more substantial than we had imagined, providing a satisfying experience for the price. After the meal, there was plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photos on the deck. Although it was the last week of February, the deck felt a bit chilly as the sun set, so I think it would be good to have something to wear. I would definitely like to participate again on another occasion.

下の子供が春から社会人というタイミングの家族旅行でこのサンセットクルーズに参加。当日は天候に恵まれ、オレンジに染まる船内でキラキラ輝く海を眺めながら食事を楽しみました。
お料理は想像していたよりもボリュームがあり、お値段の割に満足感がありました。食事の後にデッキで景色を眺めたり写真を撮ったりする時間も充分にあります。2月の最終週でしたが、日が暮れてくるとデッキは風が少し肌寒く感じたので羽織るものがあると良いかと思います。またの機会には是非参加したいです。

I had high expectations for our anniversary, but the food was disappointing! The ferry was smaller than I expected, and even though it was the Christmas season, the decorations and meal plan were lackluster.
Anyway, the food was terrible! The dinner at the hotel we stayed at was so much better and satisfying! Our seats were far from the window, so we couldn't enjoy the view at all! In the end, we ordered a celebratory cake for an extra charge, but it was so bad that we could hardly eat it!

I visited the Kyogen Lounge for the first time in a year. The laughter is always stable, and I believe it's a skill that comes from a traditional performing art passed down through the ages. After watching it again after a year, I felt that the performers have scaled up even more, which encouraged me to keep pushing myself (though that might be an exaggeration). I made a reservation for dinner on the last day of a 3-night, 4-day trip with my mother and daughter. It was raining on and off that day, so I had given up on seeing the sunset, but I was able to catch glimpses of it through the clouds a couple of times, which was nice.

For the meal, we chose the best steak course, but honestly, it was just "average," and I was a bit disappointed. Also, many of the servers were foreigners, and while they were very dedicated in their service, there was one person with a strong perfume. I think it would be better if they were educated to tone it down in dining situations, even though it might be common in their culture.

I planned a surprise for my husband's birthday gift by participating in this event. We arrived early and were allowed on the boat, where we enjoyed drinks and light snacks while waiting to set sail. Once we departed, we enjoyed wonderful performances and a course meal. Our seats were pre-assigned, and since we were guided to a window seat, we were able to enjoy the view outside while dining. We first ordered drinks and then enjoyed the buffet-style offerings of salads and fried foods. There were also unlimited servings of soup and Okinawa soba (in bowl size). The main dishes, including the red sea bream and Agu pork shabu-shabu, were delicious, which was great. During the meal, there was live music, and a singer from Okinawa performed popular songs like "Shimabito no Takara" and "Nadasou Sou," which was very enjoyable. As we finished our meal, the sunset was approaching, so we tried to go out to the deck to see it, but unfortunately, clouds covered the sky, and we couldn't tell when the sun had set. Since we had been drinking, it was just right to be on the deck, feeling the sea breeze to help sober up.

The third-floor deck was lively with customers enjoying a barbecue. Once we disembarked from the ship, we dispersed right there. Although I felt a bit stuffed from eating so much, I took a walk along Kokusai Street on my way back to the hotel.

お席は予め決まっており、窓際の席を案内されたため、食事をしながら外の景色も楽しむことが出来ました。始めに飲物をオーダーし、続いてブッフェスタイルになっているサラダや揚げ物などを楽しみました。他にはスープや沖縄そば（お椀サイズ）も食べ放題でした。メインの姫鯛、あぐー豚のしゃぶしゃぶは美味しかったので、良かったです。食事中にはライブミュージックもあり、沖縄出身の歌手の方の歌（島人の宝、涙そうそうなどの代表曲）を披露してくださり、大変楽しかったです。食事が終わる頃サンセットが近づいてきたので、外のデッキに出てサンセットを見ようとしましたが、生憎雲がかかっており、いつ陽が沈んだのか分かりませんでした。お酒も飲んでいましたのでデッキで海風にあたり酔い覚ましにはちょうど良かったです。
3階デッキではバーベキューをして楽しむお客さんで賑わっていました。
船から降りるとその場で解散となり、たらふく食べたもので苦しかったですが散歩を兼ね国際通りを見ながら歩いてホテルまで帰りました。

I attended a performance for the first time in June. The pre-show explanation provided an overview of the flow and the comedic moments, making it easy to get into the experience. After the show, the actors added further explanations, which deepened my understanding. There was also a photo opportunity, and during the part where the story was expressed through a traditional play, when I requested a ghost, they creatively acted it out, making for a very enjoyable time. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't that time this time. I will invite different friends to go see it again. Ten people might be difficult, though! (*^.^*)

６月 口真似をはじめて観劇しました。
前説で 全体の流れ、笑いどこを教えて頂いたので、入りやすかったです。
舞台終了後 役者の方が更に説明を加えて下さり
理解を深める事が出来ました。また写真撮影タイムがあったり、物語を狂言で表現してくださるところでは ゴーストをお願いしたら 工夫しながらも 演じて下さりとても楽しい時間が過ごせました。今回 その時間がなく少し残念でした
また 違う友人誘って 観に行きます。
10人は 難しいですが(*^.^*)

The bad weather due to the typhoon was unavoidable, but the food was disappointing. I had hoped for at least a decent dessert, but this was it. I would have preferred vanilla ice cream instead.

I might have had overly high expectations, but I wouldn't recommend this place to others.

The introduction by the members of the Enban Rider was very accessible, as they replaced the traditional elements of Kyogen with relatable topics before diving into the performance. After the show, the Kyogen performers provided explanations and shared behind-the-scenes stories, which was quite enlightening. This time, since there was extra time, we were treated to an improvised Kyogen based on a prompt, which allowed us to see a ghost—definitely a bonus!

円盤ライダーの方々の前説で狂言入門的な事や演目を身近なことに置き換えて、演じていただいた後に演目に入るので、とても分かりやすいです。
終わってからも、狂言師さんたちの解説もあり、裏話的な事も聞けたし、今回は時間が余ったということで、お題目からの即興狂言でゴーストが見れてお得でした。
