Although it was clearly foggy with light rain and the view was non-existent, I had a great time! Despite it being a closed day, we started with a detailed explanation at the Sabo Dam Museum, and at Murodo and Ohtani, I was informed that there was enough time to enjoy the Mikurigaike Onsen.

At the snow-covered Ohtani, the tourists were relatively sparse, making it easy to enjoy the movement. I headed to the onsen while eating Tateyama soft serve, relaxed in the hot spring, and even encountered the target bird, the ptarmigan, and was able to hear its call.

Above all, on the return route, I had the vast snowfield all to myself, which I think was a rare experience in Tateyama. The tour guide was friendly, but there was a mishap where passengers were left behind upon arrival at the destination, likely due to inexperience or unfamiliarity. However, aside from that, I think the sightseeing at the destination was enjoyable overall.

If the route to the destination changed from the original plan, I believe it was probably communicated in Chinese, but I would have appreciated an explanation in Japanese as well.

Additionally, although it’s not the guide's responsibility, I think it would have been good to have a prior explanation that this tour was quite challenging for those with mobility issues.

The visit to the Kawachi Wisteria Garden was a bit early, but I think that was unavoidable.

愛想のよい添乗員さんでしたが、おそらく不慣れもしくは経験不足から目的地到着して乗客を置きっぱなしというハプニングはありましたがそれ以外は目的地の観光は楽しめたのでまずまずだと思います。

The shuttle bus arrived at the venue more than two hours early, which made the waiting time long and difficult. I had a seat (A1), but it would have been fine without one. The departure location for the shuttle bus on the way back was dark, making it hard to find.

I had always wanted to see the Snow Wall. After searching for a tour departing from Toyama with relatively short travel time compared to bus tours from travel agencies, I found this tour. Given the weather and the unusually high temperatures in May, I didn't have high expectations, but I ended up having a very enjoyable and satisfying day.

*I received plenty of explanations about Toyama, Tateyama, ice, water, plants, and the Japanese rock ptarmigan, allowing me to learn a lot beyond just seeing the Snow Wall.
*Having lunch while sitting in a kotatsu dug into the snow, with the provided mat and enjoying the view, was an exceptional experience.
*Mr. Otsuka, our guide, provided excellent commentary, and the arrangement of the tour itinerary was fantastic. Just as described in the tour page's guide introduction, he wanted everyone to experience the awe of Tateyama, and this tour truly allowed us to feel that.
*The change in the bag of potato chips we received was easy to understand and quite interesting (it required some restraint not to open it until the end).
*The small bottle for spring water that was given as a gift was cute and surprisingly became a nice memento.

*I hope there will be a hiking tour to see the autumn leaves and stars, and I would love to visit Toyama again.

Last year, the trip was canceled due to falling rocks, so this time it was a revenge trip. The snow at the Great Snow Wall exceeded my expectations. I went out to play with my 4-year-old and 9-year-old children. I arrived at the airport at 8:30 AM and took a taxi to the location to enjoy a lot of fun during the early hours when it was less crowded. The fare was 3,200 yen. I came early after reading reviews about large groups of tour guests, but perhaps due to the low amount of snow in mid-January, it was consistently empty.

I thought maybe coming early wasn’t necessary, but I was able to enjoy all the attractions for three hours without missing anything, which gave me plenty of time and peace of mind for my subsequent plans. In the end, I think it was a great decision.

My 3-year-old son's favorite was the snow tube. We started with two people and then moved on to one person. We had a lot of freedom, sliding together as a family and riding on our stomachs.

The snow rafting was also a hit, as we were able to ride multiple times in a row until the next group of waiting guests arrived!

I also tried walking on skis, but since it was my first time wearing them, I had to give up halfway. I look forward to trying again next time!

We visited with three adults. Most of the guests were families, so we felt a bit out of place, but we had a great time experiencing activities like the four-wheeler and snowmobiling, which we had never tried before.

We went on the Saturday at the beginning of a three-day weekend, but it didn't feel too crowded, and we didn't have to wait long, so we were able to enjoy ourselves comfortably.

Regarding the price, we had a lot of fun overall, and considering safety, it's necessary for the staff to be properly positioned, so I understand the cost, but I thought 5,600 yen was a bit high.

I bought an all-you-can-play ticket and enjoyed about four hours of fun. Since buying individual tickets can be expensive, I think the all-you-can-play option is great if you plan to stay for a while.
