I was able to visit Shirakawa-go, which I had wanted to go to for a long time. Unfortunately, there was little snow, but I was able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. The tour was also smooth. I applied two days ago.
The next morning, I received an email confirming the arrangements.
On the bus, the guide shared information about Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go while I dozed off, gathering information.
It was a chilly day with rain. During our free time in Shirakawa-go, I warmed up by soaking in a hot spring (it was convenient since it was our lunch spot; the bathing fee was 600 yen and the towel was 150 yen).
I think the time allocation was just right.
In Gokayama, we only visited the Ainokura village, but I was able to stroll quietly through the village.
The guide also provided explanations about other villages from the bus window, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any prior research.

The highlight of our trip!

The guided tour picks up at Ikebukuro or Shinjuku station. Our tour guide was Nobu and he was quite wonderful! The bus ran right on time. It wasn't full for the day we chose because it was an overcast day. Mount Fuji peeked out of the clouds for just a moment while we were at the top so we got to see it!! It was awesome!! The tour hits up the Mt Fuji 5th station shop, includes a lunch at a French restaurant (with special accomodations for the vegetarian in our group). You get a $3 souvenir or ice cream voucher too. The cruise on the lake was the best part! If I was making a suggestion, the top of Mt Fuji and the amusement park could be 15 minutes longer and the lake area could be 30 minutes less in exchange. Other than that it was the absolute best and I would recommend to anyone!

It is highly recommended this tour of Fuji.

Mt. Fuji Fifth Station – It was cold with heavy rain in the trip to Mount Fuji. The tour guide was nice and caring. She was a Japanese with good spoken in English.

Lunch at Fuji-Q Highland was very great and the food was delicious. The environment in the restaurant in Fuji-Q Highland was nice and grand.

Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi & Fuji Panoramic Ropeway 
- We spent enough time in a boat at Lake Kawaguchi and Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. I enjoyed the trip and eating delicious soft serve ice cream.

Again, it was a Great tour! it was very convenient. 
I really enjoy the trip in Mt.Fuji 5th Station and Lake Kawaguchi Panoramic Tour and I will recommend to my friends to join this tour.

I highly recommended this tour if you want to go to Mount Fuji. The bus was cleaned and the tour guide gave tour description for every accurately. Lunch at Fuji Q highland park was delicious and served very well. Although it was raining all day during the trip but we can enjoy it. We have enough time for cursing at Kawaguchiko lake and enjoy fantastic view during the ropeways. My children loves the free ice cream voucher.
I gave 5 stars for veltra and thank you for given us a memorable and wonderful journey in Mount Fuji.

An amazing full day trip for the family!

Even though it was hard to find the meeting place since it was underground, we were pleased to know that the rest of the group were only boarding the bus. We were lucky that we were able to see the mountain since we were told that it was raining up until the day before our tour. The lunch was good and substantial, and kind of fancy because of the ambiance. The cruise was incredible since we got to see the entire mountain from the lake as well as the view from the top of the cable car ride. This was such a great experience even our parents were impressed! I definitely recommend this tour!

Great deal for a great full day tour!

At first, we were hesitant to book this tour because the price was too good to be true, but we took a chance and wanted to experience it ourselves. We had a difficult time finding the meeting place and was late for a couple of minutes, but Ms. Terry, our guide, waited for us. The bus ride took 2 hours from Shinjuku to the Mt. Fuji 5th station. We were greeted with a picturesque view of the mountain as well as a lovely 40 minute tour with a pleasantly cold weather. Don't forget to try the mountain-shaped melon bread there! We had a good three course lunch at the Fuji Q Highland restaurant. It's also a great photo spot where you could see more of the mountain. We then headed to the Lake Kawaguchi boat cruise where you could have a closer look at the mountain as well as a cable car ride at Hakone rope way. As you exchange the ticket for the cable car, you also get a free pen as a souvenir. The tanuki dango with soy and matcha drink there is really good. There was also a good ice cream shop where you could choose from four flavors; peach, vanilla, lavender and grape. All in all, with the tour, food and the bus ride going back to the meeting point, the price for this full day tour is such a steal. I highly recommend this tour for those of you who want to maximize their budget. The guide was really good at explaining and was very accomodating!

My family and I took the private tour arranged by Tokyo Star Agency to the Mt. Fuji area, not to the Mt. Fuji itself, but rather to the surrounding areas such as Lake Saiko, Saiko Iyashino-Sato Nenba, Hanaterasu, Mt. Fuji Ropeway and also a visit to the local sake brewery, Ide Sake. Our tour guide, Mrs. Yuko Matsuka was an amazing lady and spoke good English. She lives in the Mt. Fuji area so she has extensive knowledge about this particular region. I really adored her. She also paid attention to my daughters' needs, I could tell that she's sincere and thoughtful. She took us for lunch at Maple Restaurant, the food was very good, enjoyed by my kids and also myself. It was one of the many great meals I've had during my trip in Japan.
Although what we hoped for was to see Mt. Fuji from a far unfortunately didn't come true due to the weather (it was covered with clouds), yet we weren't disappointed since Mrs. Yuko tried her best to entertain us and took us to alternative spots for us to enjoy the day. I also need to mention our driver, Mr. Kenichi Higashi, who was a good driver and also very friendly. He made sure that we're well informed about the traffic condition; also was keen to offer us to make stops at the rest station along the highway.
Overall, I do recommend everyone who's interested in taking a private tour to Mt. Fuji area, to choose the Tokyo Star Agency's service.

We loved the trip to Mount Fuji, it was very cold and rainy. We only had about 30 min to look around, would have loved more time! The included lunch was excellent! The boat ride was nice with great views. We didn't get to do the ropeway due to wind but was refunded the cost which was great customer service. The free ice cream was a bonus that I forgot about! Overall I would take the trip again if I ever make it back to Tokyo!

I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. Taiji made sure we were able to visit all the places we wanted to see around Mt. Fuji even if it went beyond the allotted time. He and the driver, Toshi, we’re fun to be with. I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to visit Japan.

Grand Full Day Tokyo Tour

It was a great overall tour of Tokyo BUT too many customers on the tour were VERY late arriving back at the tour bus again and again. This totally inconvenienced all the other people on the tour, cut into the time spent at tour sites including lunch and made the itinerary more rushed then should have been necessary. Customers waiting on the bus wanted the tour guide to leave these people behind so we could have the designated time at tour sites but instead, we waited an average of 15-30 minutes on the bus waiting for people who could care less about keeping us all waiting. The tour guide was great but went out looking for these late people, then jammed us through the rest of the program. Customers who were either slow, older or physically challenged such as using a cane for walking couldn’t keep up.
Grey Line needs to adhere to the rule of “make it back to the bus on time or we leave you behind” instead of making others angry at the tour guide, Greyline and the late customers. NOT what I paid for.

Great day out to see Mt Fuji

A well-organised tour which was also good value for money. We were on board a very clean tour bus and had an excellent guide called Nao. He communicated very well in English and Japanese and his enthusiasm definitely added to our positive experience. We were very lucky to have perfect weather to see Mt Fuji - time at the 5th station was limited to 30 minutes, but there was more that adequate time for the lunch stop and then more time was spent at Lake Kawaguchi for the boat cruise and panoramic ropeway (which also included time for ice cream and souvenir shopping). We also found no issues with bringing our children along (5yr11mo and 28mo boys). The only negative part of the day was that we did have some difficulty finding the exact meeting point for the bus - signs pointing the way from the main street would have helped us a lot!
I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends!

This was a well organised tour with appropriate time spent at each venue. The various photograph points on the road, at the lunch restaurant and from the lake provide a variety of different angles and scenery around Mt Fuji.

A lot of time is spent on the bus but this is unavoidable due to the distance. Thankfully there are rest stops on the way there and back so the maximum bus time is approximately 1 hour between stops.

Our tour guide Nao was funny and very knowledgeable about the mountain and the various locations we visited.

If you were looking for a very hands off yet exciting tour, look no further! our guide did a very good job organizing the group we had . We ended up seeing some truly amazing sights around Mount Fuji and some beautiful city scapes. Of particular note, was the Rope way as well as the cruise which was a beautiful way to see Mount Fuji. If you have an interest in photography, you'll have great time being able to photograph around Mount Fuji. The Vantage points are excellent! Overall I would say this tour exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone!

We visited this Mt Fuji tour on a lucky day where the sun was shining and we had wonderful clear views of Mt Fuji. Our Tour guide Nao was so funny and informative as well as informative. We had a packed day full of activities but it definitely didn't feel rushed or that we didn't have enough time at each activities. The lunch was at a fancy place tasting very delicious, and The lake cruise and ropeways were refreshing providing the best unobscured view of My Fuji The activities were very very good and I would 100% recommend this tour!

Dislike the multi dips , guide changing in mid day, and bus changing to max out the margins for the agency, sacrificing the comfort level and experience of the users. Morning guide was really poor as she waited for the return passengers from the shrine at the bus parking area instead of providing some sort of assistance in between the shrine and the bus lot

The bus driver, tour guide, and interpreter were all very pleasant, making for an enjoyable trip. The free time for exploration was just right, and the hand-made rice cracker experience was fun as well. If there's another opportunity, I would love to do it again.

We were extremely impressed by this tour. It was well-organized and everyone had enough time to experience the itinerary without rushing.

The finer details:

First (and most important): Mount Fuji
- During a clear day, you have many opportunities to see it.
- 5th Station, the Lake Kawaguchi cruise and ropeway all have fantastic views.
- You can buy souvenirs at each stop!

Food
- Lunch was at an amazing restaurant in Fuji-Q Highland. An appetizer, entree, dessert, and coffee/tea are all included.
- You can also explore the surrounding area if you finish eating early!
- You get to have soft serve ice cream at the end of the tour with your pick of interesting flavors.

Efficiency and Comfort
- The bus was very comfortable and there are bathroom breaks during the ride.
- The tour guides (shoutout to Nao-san and David!) were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were fluent in both English and Japanese.
- Despite some traffic, we were pretty much on time for every stop and got back to Shinjuku before 7pm.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Mount Fuji from different viewpoints and have some great food and fun along the way.

We had a free day in Tokyo so decided to book this tour on line before we arrived as was highly recommended by a friend! We weren’t disappointed! Didn’t do a pickup from the hotel we were staying at so we had to jump on the subway to get to the pickup, was easy! Then we were transported to yet another hotel by taxi! Our tour guide Yoshi was brilliant! He covered so much in the full day tour, loved every minute of it! We booked the tour which included the Japanese lunch which was a delicious! Saw all the highlights of Tokyo, even included a boat ride down the river! At the end of the tour the bus dropped us off at the subway as we decided to go to Shibuya before returning to our hotel! Don’t miss this tour!

We booked the tour only day before and were impressed by the quick confirmation response from Veltra office. We throughly enjoyed the tour. The guide was very good and she had a good sense of humour. During the trip up she gave explanations about different sites we were passing. During the ride back she entertained us by showing us how to make an origami. The bus was nice and clean. The lunch was a pleasant surprise stop at a French style restaurant on the way. We had lunch with spectacular view of Mt Fuji. We were not rushed and had time to enjoy each stop and take photos.
Highly recommend, it was very relaxed and enjoyable not to be missed.
