The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and very beautiful. The people who were rowing for us were also very entertaining and provided various explanations, making the two hours fly by. I definitely want to come back and ride again during the fresh green season and autumn leaves.

桜も満開でとても綺麗でした。
漕いでくれている方達もとても面白く色々な説明をしてくれて2時間があっという間でした。
また新緑や紅葉の時にも来れたら是非乗りたいと思いました。

The voice of the previous boatman was too quiet, and since we were in the middle, we couldn't hear what was being said. The group of customers in the back and the staff were having a great time, while we, the customers sitting at the front of the boat, felt completely left out. It felt very much like a "the customer is king" attitude, which was unpleasant. I was disappointed because I had brought my mother, who came from Tokyo, and she was looking forward to it.

前の船頭さんの声が小さくて、真ん中にいた私達は何を言ってるのか聞き取れず、後ろのお客グループとスタッフとで盛り上がってるばかりで、船の前方に座った私達客は、しらけきってました。いかにも殿様商売で、不愉快でした。
東京から来た母が楽しみにしていて連れて行ったのに残念でした。

My first experience of Hozu River boat ride✩
The weather was great, and it was nice to see the cherry blossoms in bloom. When I first heard that the ride would take 1 hour and 50 minutes, I was a bit worried since I had my child with me, but the guide's stories were very interesting, so we never got bored.
While we were going down the river, we even encountered some monkeys, which really boosted our spirits. I thought it would be even better during the autumn foliage season.

とても天気も良く桜も咲いているのが見れ良かったです。最初所要時間が１時間50分と聞いた時、子供も一緒だったので不安でしたが先頭さんの話もとてもおもしろく暇にならなかったです。
下っている時、おさるさんにも遭遇でき、テンション上がりました。紅葉の季節だともっと良いんだろうなぁーと思いました。

It was a convenient bus tour that I was able to join the day after the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The tour departed at 3:30 PM, but be careful as it can get surprisingly cold on the way back since it runs on the expressway.

都内の満開の次の日に参加出来た便利なバスツアーでした。15時半出発コースでしたが、帰りは首都高を走るので、意外と寒くなるので要注意ですね。

It was a tour that visited two places in one day, so I was worried about having enough time before going, but in reality, there was a little extra time, and since the guide provided explanations in advance, we were able to view everything efficiently. The bus ride was smooth, and I felt no anxiety while traveling on the mountain roads. We were blessed with good weather, making it a pleasant tour. The lunch was quite heavily seasoned. I think the portion was a bit small, so it wouldn't hurt to do a little snacking along the way. I was able to experience a different world surrounded by mountains with thatched-roof houses.

1日で2カ所を訪問するツアーだったので、行く前は時間の余裕があるか心配でしたが、実際は少し余裕があるくらいで、なおかつ前もってガイドさんの説明もあったので無駄なく見学できました。バスの運転もスムーズで山道も不安なく乗っていられました。天候にも恵まれ気持ちのよいツアーでした。ランチはかなり味付けが濃いめでした。量的には少なめだと思うので、少しくらい食べ歩きをしても差し支えないかと思います。周囲を山に囲まれた茅葺き屋根の別世界を味わえました。

The number of participants was small, so we had a microbus. The vehicle was old, and the driver's driving was rough, which was very scary. It seemed like there was a tight schedule; even though there was a 10-minute gap between the meeting time and departure time, we left without waiting for the departure time despite arriving on time. It felt rushed and uncomfortable, especially for those of us who boarded last.

It was a Hozu River boat ride in light rain, but we enjoyed it without any issues thanks to the roof! The thrill of the rapids and the boatman's talk were fun, and the cherry blossoms we saw along the way were beautiful, making for a fulfilling experience. Next time, I definitely want to take a ride during the fresh green season recommended by the boatman.

小雨の中の保津川下りでしたが、屋根もあり問題なく楽しめました！急流でのスリルや船頭さんのトークも楽しく、まて途中で見れた桜も美しく、充実した時間を過ごせました。
次回は船頭さんお勧めの新緑の時期にぜひ乗船したいです。

We went out for cherry blossom viewing in early spring. My wife was really looking forward to our first experience of the Hozu River boat ride. It was so much fun, and we enjoyed the blooming cherry blossoms. The boatman was also great at engaging us with his talk, and it went by in no time, but we made wonderful memories.

春先の花見兼ねて出掛けました。初めての保津川下りで妻がとても楽しみにしていました。すごく楽しく、桜も咲いていて満喫できました。船頭さんもトークが上手で、あっと言う間でしたが、良い思い出できました。

The weather was nice, but it was very cold with the wind! Proper cold weather measures were necessary!! It might have been good that the breeze allowed us to ride without worrying about COVID-19.

I was able to see a lot of cherry blossoms, and I think this was the best time to see them. I regretted not having enough cold weather measures.

I thought I would get bored after riding for two hours, but the boatman's stories were enjoyable, and the river descent was not too intense, allowing us to have a great time. I was hoping to see cherry blossoms, but it seems I was a bit early. In Arashiyama, they were about 30% in bloom, but in Hozu River, there were hardly any blossoms. I would love to come back during the fresh green season.

2時間も乗っていると時間を持て余すかと思いましたが、
船頭さんのお話も楽しく、川下りも激しすぎず楽しい時間を過ごせました。
桜を期待していたのですが少し早かったようです。嵐山では3分咲きくらいでしたが保津川ではほとんど咲いていませんでした。
新緑の季節にまた来たいです。

There were other open bus tours during the cherry blossom season, but I participated in this tour, which was longer and more fulfilling.

You can enjoy a lot, traveling from Nihonbashi to Chidorigafuchi, passing through Kanda and Akihabara, then from Ueno to Sumida Park and Asakusa.

Of course, the cherry blossoms were beautiful, and the guide's explanations were thorough, making for an enjoyable experience.

You can also get off at Asakusa, but if you don't, you can return to Nihonbashi via the expressway, which was quite exhilarating on the open bus!

If I had to mention something, it was a bit difficult to find the meeting point, and I got a little lost, so I think it would have been helpful to have a clearer map or directions.

桜の時期のオープンバスのツアーは他にもありましたが、時間も長く内容も充実しているこちらのツアーに参加させていただきました。
日本橋から千鳥ヶ淵、神田や秋葉原を通って上野から隅田公園、浅草と、かなり満喫できます。
桜はもちろんのこと、ガイドさんの説明も丁寧で、楽しく過ごせました。
浅草で途中下車することもできますが、下車しない場合は首都高を通り日本橋に戻れるので、オープンバスでの首都高はなかなか疾走感があり楽しかったです！
強いて言えば、集合場所までの行き方が分かりづらく少し迷ってしまったので、案内にもう少し分かりやすい地図等があったら良かったかなと思いました。

I participated in a tour to visit cherry blossom spots on an open bus, but the glass on the bus was tinted, making it difficult to see the beautifully blooming cherry blossoms, which was disappointing. Also, since it was a cold day, it would have been nice to have heating at our feet.

オープンバスで桜を名所を巡るツアーに参加しましたがバスのガラスにスモークがかけてあり、せっかく綺麗に咲いている桜が見にくかったのが残念です。
また、参加した日が寒かったので足元に暖房が入ると良かったです。

This was my first time participating, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I checked in at the designated location, and from there, I was guided to the bus stop for boarding. At the designated location, there were power outlets available, and complimentary drinks were provided. Even if I arrived a little early, it felt like a relaxing space. Although the sky was cloudy, I was fortunate not to get caught in the rain. The cool breeze was pleasant! Perhaps because it was Saturday, everything went smoothly without getting caught in crowds, and my friend and I enjoyed the experience for 90 minutes. I'm thinking about trying a different course next time!

初めての参加で勝手がわからず。
指定場所で受付をして、そこからバス乗り場までご案内をして頂いての乗車でした。
指定場所では、電源が有り、飲み物の無料提供もありました。少し早く着いても、ゆっくり空間の空間のようでした。
曇り空でしたが、雨に降られずにすみました。涼やかな風が気持ちよかったです！
土曜日だったからか、混雑に巻き込まれることもなく順調に進み、友人とともに、90分堪能できました。
違うコースにも、参加してみたいなぁ～と思っています。

The bus seating arrangement that avoided crowding, just the right number of participants, the driver's safe driving, the tour guide's detailed explanations and hidden photo spots, the deliciousness of the lunch—everything made for a truly satisfying tour. I really made wonderful memories!! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The bus had thorough infection control measures, which was great. Since there were only five participants on a weekday, it felt quite empty.

The tour sequence was: viewpoint of Shirakawa-go → Shirakawa-go → lunch in Shirakawa-go → exploring Takayama → experience grilling white shrimp crackers.

For lunch, we had two pieces of meat grilled on a magnolia leaf and fish that tasted like sweet simmered fish as the main dish, accompanied by side dishes, giving it a rustic feel. I wasn't a big fan of the sweet simmered fish, but the magnolia leaf miso was delicious.

It seems that many shops in Takayama are closed on Wednesdays, and we happened to visit on that day, which was a bit disappointing. However, I was glad to have tried grilled Hida beef skewers and sushi. There was also a sake shop where we could enjoy a little tasting, which was fun as we compared drinks and chose souvenirs.

Finally, we moved to Toyama and grilled two white shrimp crackers, but honestly, I felt this was unnecessary. They were so thin that they finished grilling in an instant, and I thought it was a waste of time to travel over an hour by bus just for this.

Overall, I am very satisfied. The bus guide provided concise recommendations on what places to visit before we arrived at our destination and gave us a map, which was very helpful.

バスの感染対策がしっかりされていてよかったです。
平日で参加者が5人しかいなかったためガラガラでした。

ツアーは白川郷の展望台→白川郷→白川郷でランチ→飛騨高山散策→白エビせんべい焼き体験という順序でした。

ランチは朴葉焼きのお肉が2切れと甘露煮のような魚がメインで副菜が付いた田舎料理といった感じでした。甘露煮は少し苦手でしたが朴葉味噌が美味しかったです。

飛騨高山は水曜日が定休のお店が多いようでちょうど当たってしまい少し残念でしたが、飛騨牛の串焼きとお寿司を食べれたのでよかったです。おちょこでお酒のちょい呑みができる酒屋さんもあり、飲み比べてお土産を選んだりして楽しかったです。

最後に富山に移動して白えびせんべいを2枚焼きましたが正直これはいらなかった。薄いので一瞬で焼き終わってしまい、このためだけにバスで1時間以上かけて移動するのは時間の無駄だと思いました。

総合的にはとても満足しています。
バスガイドのお兄さんが目的地に着く前にどのようなところを巡るのがいいか、おすすめを簡潔に紹介してくださり地図もいただけてとても役に立ちました。

The guide was wonderful.

We departed from Kanazawa Station, and they provided explanations about the city visible from the window. Although we didn't get off, it was enjoyable.

Basically, it's free time, but they will recommend places to visit and spots in Shirakawa-go where you can take beautiful photos!

It was a bus tour that I would like to join again.

The day before there was heavy snow, but we were blessed with clear weather on the day itself, resulting in the best snowy scenery! I was able to hear various stories from the guide, and the driver was kind, making it a very enjoyable trip.

前日まで大雪、当日は晴れという天候に恵まれ最高の雪景色でした！ガイドさんから色々なお話を伺え、運転手さんも親切でとても楽しい旅となりました。

The main road was cleared of snow, making it very easy to walk. The scenery was beautiful, and I had plenty of time to explore!

Since it was my first time using Veltra, I was honestly a bit anxious, but both the tour guide and the content were excellent! Mr. Kuroda, our guide, was truly the best guide I've ever had. I will definitely join this tour again to see Shirakawa-go in all four seasons!

初めてベルトラを利用したので正直不安でしたが、ツアーの添乗員さんも内容も最高！添乗員さんの黒田さん本当に今までで一番いい添乗員さんでした。四季折々の白川郷を見にまた絶対にこのツアーに参加します！

I was taken care of by an optional tour abroad. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I returned from overseas to domestic travel. It was my first trip to the Hokuriku region.

Since I had come to Kanazawa, I wanted to visit Shirakawa-go as well, and I discovered a very attractive tour departing from Kanazawa.

As I was traveling alone, I couldn't use the usual domestic tours. This time, I combined it with the JR Dynamic Rail Pack.

On New Year's Eve, the weather was terrible with poor visibility, but I was able to visit the snowy Shirakawa-go, which I had longed for, and it was very moving.

The guide was very skilled, and although it was a long journey, I was able to enjoy the ride. I wanted to hear more stories, but despite being unable to sleep, I ended up dozing off due to the pleasant atmosphere, the bus's comfortable seats, and the cozy indoor temperature. I think the bus was very comfortable, as someone sitting behind me also murmured.

I believe the bus driver had a tough journey, having to remove chains along the way. Thank you very much.

I thought about going to a place where I could overlook the village in the snowstorm, but it almost turned into a mini snow trek.

Next time, I would like to visit again during a warmer season. Thank you for all your help.

海外のオプショナルツアーでお世話になっていました。
コロナ禍で、海外から国内回帰。
はじめての北陸地方への旅でした。

金沢まで来たのなら、白川郷にも行ってみたい
と思っていたところ、金沢発着のとても魅力的なツアーを発見。

一人旅なので、よくある国内ツアーを利用する事が出来ません。
今回はJRダイナミックレールパックと組み合わせました。

大晦日は大荒れの天気で、視界不良でしたが、念願の雪の白川郷に訪れる事が出来て、とても感動しました。

ガイドの方がとても上手で、長旅ではありましたが、楽しく乗車する事が出来ました。
もっとおはなしを聞きたいと思っていましたが、耳触りの良さ、バスのふかふかなシート、快適な室内温度で不眠なはずなのに寝入ってしまいました。
後ろに座った方も呟いていたので、バス車内はとても快適だったと思います。

バスの運転手の方も、途中でチェーンを外されるなどして大変な行程だったかと思います。

吹雪の中、集落を一望できるところに行こうと思いましたが、プチ雪中行軍になりかけました。

今度は暖かい時期にもう一度訪れたいと思いました。

It seems that the day we participated in the tour was the first sunny day in a while, as it had been raining until the early morning. We were even able to see steam rising from the gassho-zukuri roofs. The guide also showed us some photo spots that weren't crowded, and we were able to take really great pictures that looked like posters. They gave us plenty of free time, so we could shop to our heart's content. Since there were only a few of us, we had a lot of freedom, and my friend who went with me said the lunch was amazing!

ツアーに参加した日は久しぶりの晴れだったらしく、その日の朝方まで雨が降っていて、合掌造りの屋根から上がる湯気？みたいなものも見れました。ガイドさんも人があまりいない写真スポットとか教えてくれて、本当にポスターみたいないい写真が撮れました。自由時間もたくさん取ってくれて、買い物も思う存分できました。少人数だったのでたいぶ自由にできて、一緒に行った友達はお昼ご飯が最高と言ってました笑

Although there was an incredible amount of snow due to the cold wave, we were able to go on the tour safely. Unfortunately, we couldn't climb to the observation deck in Shirakawa-go because of the heavy snow, but we enjoyed the rare sight of snow. The tour guide was humorous and spoke English, making the time on the bus enjoyable. Thank you very much. It was so cold that my feet got chilly, but the pure white world was beautiful. Next time, I would like to visit during the beautiful green season in spring!

寒波で恐ろしいほどの雪が降ったけど、無事ツアーに行けました。
大雪で　残念なことに　白川郷の展望台には登れなかったけど、普段見れない雪を堪能しました。
添乗員の方が英語も喋れるユーモアたっぷりの方で　バスの車内も楽しく過ごせました。

This was my first time using a bus tour. I was worried about whether it would go as scheduled due to the heavy snow, but thanks to our conductor, Mr. Kuroda, and our driver, Mr. Fujihama, I was able to participate in the tour safely and comfortably until the end.

Additionally, Mr. Kuroda provided us with information that wasn't in the guidebook, allowing us to have experiences that we couldn't have on our usual trips as a couple. Furthermore, he shared interesting facts about Kanazawa during the ride, which made our exploration the next day very enjoyable. I definitely want to visit Kanazawa again.

Thank you very much for the wonderful memories you gifted us.

Every day continues to be cold, but I sincerely wish for the health and safety of Mr. Kuroda, the drivers, and all the staff.

While enjoying some rice crackers from Sasara-ya and a beer, I reminisced about our experiences...

　初めてのバスツアーの利用でした。
　大雪でスケジュール通り開催されるか不安でしたが、コンダクターの黒田様、ドライバーの富士浜様のおかげで、最後まで、安心、安全にツアーに参加することができました。
　また、黒田様からガイドブックに載っていない情報をご案内いただき、普段の二人の旅行ではできない体験をすることができました。
　更に、車中で金沢の豆知識を紹介してくださり、翌日の散策をとても楽しむことができました。
　また、ぜひ金沢を訪れたいです。

　「素敵な思い出」という宝物をプレゼントしてくださり本当にありがとうございました。

The weather forecast predicted rain, but it was just enough to make it through with sleet mixed with snow, so I was glad I could go. This time, I chose a winter trip to Kanazawa and decided to visit Shirakawa-go as well, which was my first time, and since it's not often that I get the chance to go from Kyushu, I really wanted to visit. As a result, the gassho-zukuri village was beautifully covered in snow and it was amazing. Also, the lunch was filled with local cuisine and was very good.

天気予報が雨であったが、みぞれ混じりの雪でギリギリ行けて良かった。
今回、冬の金沢旅行をチョイスして、併せて白川郷も行くことにしたので初めてでもあり、九州からはなかなか行く機会ばないので是非とも行きたかった。結果、合掌集落が雪化粧していて最高だった。
また、昼食も郷土料理満載で非常に良かった。

We did not climb to the observation deck, but I think it was a wise decision since the weather was not suitable for viewing the scenery. The snow-covered gassho-zukuri houses looked just as they did in the pictures, making it feel like a time slip. Additionally, the tour guide was very personable and provided the group with flexible and accurate information to ensure we wouldn't have any issues on-site. It became a memorable bus tour.

雪の多く降った日でしたが、安全第一として催行されることとなりました。
展望台には登りませんでしたが、景色が見える天候ではないので的確な判断だと思います。
雪の積もった合掌作りの家は写真で見ていた通りで、タイムスリップしたようでした。
また、添乗員さんの人柄が良く、参加メンバーが、現地で困らないように、柔軟にかつ、知りたい情報を的確に教えてくれました。
記憶に残るバスツアーとなりました。

It was cold, but it was wonderful. The view from Deai Bridge was also nice. Because it was cold, the miso soup and soba at Hakusui-en were very delicious. I want to come back again in a different season.

寒かったけどステキでした。であい橋からの景色も良かったです。寒いから白水園さんのお味噌汁、お蕎麦とても美味しかった。季節変えてまた来たいな

I thought I might get a bit bored since it was a long time, but the three boatmen took turns speaking, each with their own personality, and the 90 minutes flew by. If I have the chance to go to Kyoto again, I would love to ride again.

長い時間なので少し飽きてしまうかと思っていましたが、3人の船頭さんが順番にお話しされ、それぞれの方に個性があり、あっという間の90分でした。京都に行く機会があったらまた乗りたいと思います。

The tour guide and the driver were incredibly kind and attentive.

It was my first trip to the Hokuriku region, and it was also my middle school son's first time. I was a bit worried about traveling just the two of us, but it was very impressive to see my son enjoying himself even more than I was.

The highlight seemed to be the beautiful scenery of Shirakawa-go, and thanks to a brief lecture from the tour guide on the bus about the area, my son became actively interested once we arrived, suggesting things like "Isn't that over there?" and wanting to enter the buildings. It was a great opportunity for him to learn about history and architecture, so I definitely recommend this for families with middle school and high school students!

For lunch, we had a variety of dishes including meat, fish, soba, and mountain vegetables. It was plentiful yet refreshing, and the portion sizes were just right, leaving us very satisfied. It was incredibly delicious.

In Takayama, we were able to enjoy various local foods, and the hands-on experience of making rice crackers was a first for my son, which further increased his satisfaction and made his eyes sparkle.

Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience filled with many memorable moments, and I would love to participate again soon.

添乗員さんも運転手さんも、凄く親切で丁寧でした。

私も、中学生の息子も初めての北陸旅でした。
2人旅で少し心配でしたが、息子が私より楽しんでいたのがとても印象的でした。

1番は、白川郷の景色の良さだった様ですが、バス車内で事前に添乗員さんから、現地に関して簡単なレクチャーがあったので、現地に着いてから息子が積極的に、あっちじゃない？とか、建物に入ろう。と興味を持って自主的に動いてくれました。
歴史や、建築の勉強にもなり、ぜひ、中学生、高校生のいるファミリーの参加もお勧めします！


また、お昼ご飯は、肉、魚、そば、山菜、と盛り沢山だけれど、さっぱりとしていて、量も程よく、満足でした。めっちゃ美味しかったです。

次の飛騨高山で色々と食べ歩きもできて、最後のお煎餅の手焼き体験は、息子は初めての経験で、さらに満足度が上がって、目がキラキラしていました。

本当に、凄く楽しかったし、沢山の感動があってまたすぐ参加したいです。

Without having to wait in line at the ticket counter, I wasn't sure if I could get a spot at the time I wanted, which made it difficult to plan. However, it was a bit more expensive to book in advance, but it gave me peace of mind. I waited about 30 minutes before boarding. You can eat and drink on the boat. There are refreshments available in the waiting room, and towards the end, they come around selling items on the boat. The boatmen were entertaining. It was a relaxing experience.

窓口で並ぶことなく、乗りたい時間が取れるかわからない、どうなるかにより予定が立たないこともなく、事前に少し窓口より高かったですが、
予約してあると安心です。乗るまでに30分くらい待ちました。船の中で飲食できます。待合室に売っていますし、最後の方ですが、船に売りに来ます。
船頭さんたちが面白かったです。のんびりしました。
