I participated in a tour in mid-September. The guide introduced recommended spots on the bus, which allowed us to efficiently visit the highlights during our exploration time. It was just the time when the rice fields were starting to change color, creating a beautiful landscape that looked like something out of a storybook.

9月中旬にツアー参加しました。バスの中ではガイドさんがおすすめのスポットなどを紹介して下さり、おかげで散策の時間に効率的に見所を巡れました。
ちょうど田んぼの稲が色付き始めている時期で、昔話の絵本に出てくるような、とても綺麗な風景でした。

The bus driver said, "It's been 25 years since we could take photos without people in them." Perhaps due to the drastic decrease in tourists, the express bus service has been reduced, so I hurriedly signed up for a tour with Veltra. It was very affordable since I could use the Go To campaign.

Additionally, the local veteran guide shared some hidden spots with us, allowing us to visit places we would have missed if we had gone on our own. The lunch was also healthy and great.

Veltra's tours are always reliable, so I will definitely use them again.

バスの運転手さん曰く、「人が写り込まないで写真が撮れるのは25年振り」だそうです。
観光客が激減したせいか、高速バスが減便してしまったため、急遽ベルトラさんのツアーに申し込みました。
gotoキャンペーンが使えたので、とてもお得でした。
また、現地のベテランガイドさんに、穴場スポットも教えていただき、個人で行くと見逃してしまう場所に行くことができました。
お昼ご飯もヘルシーで良かったです。

ベルトラさんのツアーは外れがないので、また利用させていただきます。

This was my first time participating in a domestic optional tour. I joined as a solo traveler, but there was plenty of free time on-site, allowing me to explore as I pleased. For lunch, we were served a small portion of Hida beef. I was grateful to be comfortably taken to Gokayama, which is difficult to reach on my own.

The bus was arranged to ensure social distancing, with a vinyl sheet separating the driver from the passengers. We had temperature checks during the gathering, and hand sanitization was required each time we boarded the bus.

Although it was unfortunately rainy, thanks to our guide, Kuroda, I was able to enjoy the tour. The content of his talks was rich and engaging, without being pushy, and there was a nice balance to it. He was a true professional guide.

I definitely want to participate in another tour with Kuroda.

初めての国内オプショナルツアー参加でした。
1人参加でしたが、現地では自由時間がメインで、好きに行動出来ました。
ランチには（少量ですが）飛騨牛も出ました。
個人では行きにくい五箇山へも快適に連れて行って貰えたので、助かりました。

バス内はソーシャルディスタンスをとって座れるよう配慮されており、ドライバーさんとの間にはビニールシートでの仕切りがありました。
集合時に検温、バスの乗車毎に手指消毒もするようになっていました。

あいにくの雨天でしたが、ガイドの黒田さんのおかげで、ツアーを楽しめました。
お話の内容も盛りだくさんで、押し付けがましいところは無く、メリハリがありました。
本物のプロのガイドさんでした。

是非又、黒田さんの別のツアーにも参加してみたいと思っています。

It was a day course with lunch included, and both the tour guide and the driver were very polite and provided various explanations. The weather was nice, a bit hot, but I thoroughly enjoyed Shirakawa-go. There were only three participants, including myself, but we were able to spend our time comfortably. The lunch featured local specialty dishes, and I was satisfied with the content. There was plenty of time for sightseeing in Hida Takayama, and I walked around every corner of the town. The retro atmosphere and the streets filled with Showa-era charm were wonderful. The final experience of making hand-baked rice crackers was also interesting. I think I will participate again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

１日の昼食付きコースでしたが添乗員さんも運転手さんも丁寧で色々な説明をしていただきました。天気も良くちょっと暑かったですが白川郷も堪能いたしました。参加者は私を含めて3名だけでしたが気持ち良く過ごすことができました。昼食も地元の名物料理でしたが内容も満足いたしました。飛騨高山の観光も十分な時間があり街の隅々まで歩いてまわりました。レトロで昭和感の溢れる街並みが素敵でした。最後の手焼き煎餅体験も面白かったです。また機会があれば参加しようと思います。ありがとうございました。

- Although the meeting time was a bit early, thanks to that, we could stroll around Shirakawa-go without getting caught in traffic.

・9月の連休に参加しましたが、ゆっくり回ることができました。
・ちょっと早めの集合時間ですが、そのおかげで渋滞に巻き込まれずに白川郷を散策できました。
・日本人に有名な白川郷だけでなく、相倉合掌造り集落も回れてとても良かったです。
・ガイドの黒田さんはガイド詩に載っていない、おすすめ撮影スポット等を下さい、それだけでも参加した価値があったと思います。

Depending on the tour, the time may be short, but it is organized at a leisurely pace. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch. Alcohol disinfection and mask-wearing are strictly enforced, so you can participate with peace of mind.

ツアーによっては、時間が短かったりしますが、これは、ゆっくり組まれてます。昼食も、おいしくいただけます。
アルコール消毒や、マスクも徹底されていて、安心して参加できます。

Both the driver and the guide were friendly and kind. They were knowledgeable and had great conversation skills.

In Shirakawa-go and the Aikawa settlement, I was able to gain information that only participants of the tour would know, and I took the best photos. They also shared various insights about the World Heritage site, which linked well with what my daughter is currently learning about Japanese history and culture, making it a valuable study experience for her.

The final experience of making rice crackers was fun, and I was pleasantly surprised that we could take a detour to Toyama Prefecture. We were able to visit three places: Kanazawa, Gifu, and Toyama.

I highly recommend this tour.

ドライバーさんもガイドさんも気さくで善い方でした。知識も豊富でトークもバッグンです。
白川郷、相川集落ではツアーに参加した方のみしか知らない情報を得られ最高の写真撮影ができました。
世界文化遺産の知識もいろいろと教えてくださり
日本の歴史や文化を習っている最中の娘には座学と実物とがリンクして勉強になったようです。
ツアー最後のおせんべい焼き体験は楽しく、思いがけず富山県にも寄り道できて嬉しいかったです。
金沢→岐阜→富山3つもまわれました。

I felt that the rainy days had more charm. The tour guide was very polite. I think it's a good idea to ask about delicious restaurants. Overall, it was a great tour.

Perhaps due to the impact of the new infectious disease, both the observation deck and Shirakawa-go were easy to visit.

There was plenty of time for strolling, and the guide shared various tips about photo spots and recommended souvenirs from Kanazawa, which was great.

This is a tour around Shirakawa-go and Takayama. The guide, Mr. K, shared very interesting stories, and in Shirakawa-go, I was shown recommended photo spots. The lunch was delicious, and there was plenty of free time for exploring in Takayama, allowing us to enjoy souvenir shops and street food. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the availability of rental plastic umbrellas and reminders for hand sanitizer, which are often overlooked. Thank you for your hospitality during that time.

白川郷と高山を周るツアーです。
ガイドのKさんのお話がとても興味深く、白川郷ではおすすめの写真撮影スポットを教えてもらえました。
お昼ご飯も美味しく、高山では自由散策の時間がたっぷりで、お土産屋さんや食べ歩きも楽しむことができます。
貸し出し用のビニール傘が用意されていたり、忘れがちなアルコール消毒のお声掛けを頂いたり、細やかなお心遣いが嬉しかったです。

I participated in this tour to effectively show my foreign friends' family the famous spots in Kyoto, as they had a tight schedule. The weather was a bit bad, but we were able to leisurely visit popular places by bus, and they enjoyed it. The guide and the staff were very kind, and my friends were pleased as well. 余り日程に余裕のない外国人友達家族の為に、京都の有名どころを有効観光できるので参加しました。　少し天気が悪かったですが、人気の所をバスでゆっくり回れたので楽しんでもらえました。またガイドさんと案内の方はとても親切に接して下さり友達も喜んでおりました。　参加してよかったです。ありがとうございました。

this was a great day tour, you got to see so much of tokyo , while riding around in the air-con bus! the guides were so much fun, and so helpful, we learned so much. there was a little bite of everything on this tour with not a whole lot of long walks. shrines were great and we loved the tokyo tower.

Thanks to the guide and the driver, it was a wonderful trip to Kyoto! I am filled with gratitude! It became a trip that will be a lifelong memory in many ways! I definitely want to use your services again! Thank you very much.

I wanted to go from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go, and while researching how to get there, I discovered this tour and decided to join. It seems you can also go by bus, but since the price difference isn't significant, I think it was a good choice to participate in the tour. The guide also provides information about great spots for taking photos.

金沢から白川郷に行きたいと思い、行き方を調べる中で
このツアーを発見して参加しました。
バスでも行くことが出来るようですが、価格差もあまりないため、

To sum up what I liked:

✦ Big comfortable tour bus
✦ Bilingual guide sharing amazing details
✦ Good amount of time at each spot, not too long/not too short
✦ Group was half Japanese half international, everyone was very nice
✦ Tour was very timely and organized

Due to the impact of the coronavirus infection, group tours both domestically and internationally were immediately canceled, allowing us to enjoy the authentic scenery and streets of Kyoto at a leisurely pace, which was wonderful.

コロナウィルス感染の影響で国内外の団体ツアーが即なく、本来の京都らしい風景や街並みがゆったりと愉しめて良かったです。

Only we participated from Kyoto, but the tour guide we met at the station was very kind. We headed to Fushimi Inari Shrine by train and met up with participants who came by bus from Osaka. Out of the 35 participants, about 30 were from abroad. The guide showed us the famous sights of Kyoto at a comfortable pace, making it a very fulfilling day. I would like to participate again if there is another opportunity. Thank you very much.

　京都からの参加は私たちでけでしたが、駅で待ち合わせた添乗員さんは、大変親切な方でした。
　電車で稲荷神社に向かい、大阪からのバスでの参加者と合流しました。３５名の参加者の内３０名位は外国の方でした。

京都で人気の観光スポットが網羅されたコース設定で、各スポットの滞在時間も余裕を持って設定されています。バスでの移動時間で添乗員さんがパンフレットで次のスポットの見所紹介をしてくれるので、予習なしでも十分楽しめます。
いまは新型コロナウイルスの影響で外国からの観光客が少ないので、すいてて落ち着いた京都が楽しめます。コロナ対策で、マスクとまめな手洗いに留意して参加しましょう。

I participated from Hokkaido. Honestly, I was unsure until the day before, but even with only three groups participating due to the impact of COVID, I really appreciated the guide's attentive service and explanations, as well as the driver's help. If I have the opportunity again, I would like to request your services.

北海道から参加しました。正直、前日まで迷っていましたが、コロナの影響から３組の参加とはいえ、ガイドさんの丁寧な対応や説明、運転手さん、大変お世話になりました。また機会があれば、お願いしたいと思います。

I was worried about COVID-19 and debated participating until the day before, but I'm glad I joined. There were few people everywhere, the guide's explanations were easy to understand, and I really enjoyed getting to know the other members I traveled with. I would love to go again. I also got to ride the Arashiyama Tram, which wasn't in the plan, and I was able to fully enjoy Kyoto. To all the guides, it must be tough, but please keep up the good work.

コロナが怖くて前日まで参加を悩んでいましたが、参加して良かったでした。何処も少なく、ガイドさんの説明も分かりやすく、一緒に乗り合わせたメンバーとも仲良くなれて本当に楽しかったです。また行きたいと思いました。予定にない、嵐山のトロッコにも乗せて頂き、京都を満喫することが出来ました。ガイドの皆さんも大変でしょうが頑張ってください。

Is it because of the impact of the new coronavirus that the number of visitors has decreased? I was able to take my time exploring all the tourist spots.

There were only 10 participants, but thanks to the guide's attentive guidance, everyone seemed relaxed and enjoyed themselves. I participated alone, but with the guide's assistance and the opportunity to take photos at each sightseeing spot, I was able to capture many pictures. Additionally, receiving advice on angles during photo shoots was very helpful.

At Kiyomizu-dera, the roof replacement work was completed, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful stage. I signed up for the tour with lunch included. The restaurant was near Kiyomizu-dera, and from there, I could enjoy a panoramic view of Kyoto. The lunch, which included yudofu, was also very delicious.

The stroll through the bamboo grove in Arashiyama was enjoyable as I listened to the guide's stories and chatted with fellow tour members while exploring the sights. It was a very enjoyable day. Thank you, guide!

新型コロナウイルスの影響で客足が遠のいているのか？　全ての観光地でゆっくり見学することが出来ました。
参加人数は10名と少ない人数でしたが、ガイドさんの丁寧な案内で、皆さんリラックスして楽しんでいる雰囲気でした。
私は１人での参加でしたが、ガイドさんの案内や各観光地において写真撮影していただいたお陰で沢山の写真が取れました。また、写真撮影時アングルのアドバイスも頂けたのはとても良かったです。
清水寺は屋根の葺き替え工事が終わり美しい舞台を望むことが出来ました。私は今回お昼付きで申し込みました。場所は清水寺近くのレストラン、そちらのお店から京都を一望できる景色を楽しむことも出来ました。ランチも湯豆腐を頂くことが出来そちらもとても美味しかったです。嵐山での竹林散策もガイドさんのお話を聞きながら、また同じツアーメンバーの方々ともお話ししながら観光地を巡れました。とても楽しい1日でした。ガイドさんありがとうございました。

I was a bit anxious about my first bus tour, but it was so much fun! Thanks to our friendly bus guide, everyone had a great time together. I was also happy that they knew the best photo spots, so I could get beautiful pictures taken!

Due to the COVID-19 situation, there were hardly any tourists in Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. The pace of time was also slow, allowing us to leisurely explore the World Heritage site. コロナ騒ぎで白川郷と五箇山は観光客が殆どいませんでした。時間のペースもゆっくり取ってあるので、のんびり世界遺産を散策することが出来ました。ガイドの方は大変感じが良い方で、詳しい説明に感銘を受けました。お昼も美味しく、大満足の1日ツアーでした。ありがとうございました。

I participated in this tour because I thought I could cover all the places I wanted to visit in Kyoto in just one day. Although Kyoto was less crowded than usual, I was able to explore at a very leisurely pace despite the packed itinerary.

There were eight people on the tour (apparently, there are usually more), and everyone except me was a foreigner. Therefore, it was noted during the reservation that "an English-speaking guide will be on board," but there was only one guide who mainly spoke in English. However, the guide was a veteran with a wealth of knowledge, and their English was easy to understand and interesting (of course, they also provided explanations in Japanese). Even though I participated alone, they took many photos for me.

My first experience in Kyoto was very satisfying!

ほぼ初めての京都で、１日で自分の行ってみたい名所を網羅できそうだったので参加しました。
京都自体通常に比べて空いていたということもありますが、盛りだくさんの内容の割にはとてもゆっくり回ることができました。
ツアーは８人で（普段はもっといっぱいいるらしいです）、私以外全員外国人でした。そのため、予約時に「英語を話せる添乗員が乗車」と書かれていましたが、ガイドさんは１人で、英語メインでのお話でした。でも、ベテランのガイドさんでとても知識が豊富で英語もわかりやすく、面白かったです（もちろん日本語でもいろいろ説明はしてくださいました）。一人での参加でしたが、写真もたくさん撮ってくださいました。
初京都、大満足です！

This time, considering the new virus, I was unsure about participating. My wife and I thought about it, but we decided to go for it. We boarded the bus in Namba, and there were about 10 people on the day of the tour. The guide was very easy to understand, providing information in both Japanese and English. We visited various attractions, and it was very quiet, allowing us to take our time exploring. I'm really glad I participated. I think this is a hidden gem during this time. It's safe and secure since it's not crowded! I would participate again if the opportunity arises. The yellow bus was very cute!

今回は新ウィルスの関係で参加をどうしょうか？妻と考えましたが思い切って参加しました。難波でバス乗車、当日は10名位の人数でしたガイドさんも日本語＆英語で対応とてもわかり易かったです。各名所を周りとても空いていてゆっくり見学ができました。参加して本当に良かったです。逆にこの時期、穴場たと思います。空いているので安全安心ですよ！また機会があれば参加しますします。黄色のバスとても可愛かったです

First of all, the guide was very good at speaking, and before I knew it, we arrived at our destination. We were blessed with great weather and had a lot of fun. The bathroom breaks and free time were just right, and at the end, we were introduced to a recommended restaurant (laughs), which made it a fulfilling experience! I want to try going again in the summer.

The full day tour covered most of the attractions I want to visit in Tokyo! A must tour if you have a limited time and want to cover popular attractions.
Recommendation though for future travelers, please allot plenty of time to go the meeting point. Please consider as well Google Maps live view, its really helpful finding places in Tokyo! Honor as well the time provided by your tour guide, be back on the bus as he/she stated so you'll visit all the places on time.

FYI, the first row on the bus (left and right) are reserved for the tour guide and the 2nd driver!

It was a great trip. Hiro was a lovely guide, very helpful and friendly. Sadly the weather was very poor due to bad luck and we couldn’t see Mt Fuji but she bought us all a lovely postcard instead which was really sweet of her. The locations were still beautiful, the small villages were so peaceful and relaxing compared to the madness of Tokyo and the trip well organised.
We took the options to not include the meal and trips and just paid upfront for the cablecar which is all we wanted to do. We also bought our own lunch instead of having the western style meal as it didn’t appeal as much. The fact that this trip has options is one of the main reasons we chose it and I’m very glad we did so!
I would highly recommend this company for any tours!

Experience Report:
The members of the tour were well-mannered, which made for a pleasant experience.
Additionally, the tour guide's leadership was excellent.

There was just one issue with the time management:
At Kiyomizu-dera for lunch, there wasn't enough time, and I couldn't relax. On the other hand, the time at Kinkaku-ji was short, which was fine.

Overall, I give it a positive rating.

一つだけ、時間配分で
ランチの清水寺では、時間が足りなく、ゆっくりできなかった。
逆に、金閣寺の時間は短くて良かった。

総合的には、好評価です。

They provided necessary information about local attractions and shops, but I appreciated that they maintained a comfortable distance, allowing us to explore freely. We had plenty of free time and were able to stroll leisurely. The souvenir shop we visited during the rice cracker baking experience was also pleasant, making for a nice break during our long travels. They also took precautions against the coronavirus, which made our time there enjoyable.

現地の見所やお店の紹介など必要な情報提供はしっかりしてくださいますが、適度な距離を取って自由にさせてくださるところが居心地良かったです。
自由時間も余裕があり、ゆっくり散策できました。
せんべい焼き体験で立ち寄ったお土産物屋さんも感じがよく、長距離移動の良い休憩になりました。
コロナウイルス対策も配慮してくださっていて、気持ちよく過ごすことができました。
