The view of mount fuji is spectacular, the tour guide provide a good information of the history details.
Overall is a good experience

This was a great tour, unfortunately Mt. Fuji was hidden with fog but I still had a great time.

The tour guide, Terri, was so sweet and her English was quite good, she was very clear on where we were going, how long we had there and when we needed to be back on the bus. She had plenty of information about building and sites we saw or were going to along the way.

We stopped at a rest station for a bathroom break along the way, there is a Starbucks in there in case anyone needed some extra caffeine.

I do really wish we have more time at 5th station, 30 minutes just doesn't seem like a lot of time. I never did find the Fuji shaped bread I think it was in a shop I didn't get too nor did I make it to the shrine.

The lunch at Fuji Q Highlands was delicious, it came out quick so if you are a fast eater like I am you can get done in about 30 minutes and have time to do a little exploring before you leave.

The Lake cruise was a bit cramped, my friends and I managed to get seats inside which is good because it was really cold outside. On a nice day I'm sure sitting out on the deck of the ship would be lovely. On the ship we got fortunes, which our guide happily read and explained to us what they meant.

The Kachi Kachi Ropeway cable car was very crowded (the ropeway crams so many people in the car on the way up). Once up top it wasn't bad, I bet the views are spectacular when its not cloudly/foggy. There's not much to do up top in bad weather but it was nice to check out.

There is a couple of shops at the base of the ropeway that are cool, we were given a coupon for a free ice cream or 300 yen off of a purchase which was an unexpected surprise.

The ride back to Shinjuku was fairly quiet, but our tour guide had some more cool information to impart to us about buildings that were lit up at night. She even handed out some origami cranes to all the attendees.

All in all it was a great experience and I would happily go again.

Great tour to see Mt Fuji. We were very lucky to see it without too many clouds in the morning and it left me speechless. Tour brought us to the Fifth Station (on Mt Fuji) and we were able to see the top with the snow, it was beautiful! Then we continued to get lunch at a cute restaurant before going on the rope way ride and finish the tour with a nice cruise on Lake Kawaguchi. It got cloudy during the afternoon so we haven't been able to see Mt Fuji during the rope way ride nor during the cruise but it was still awesome and there is so much to see and take in.The guide was friendly and I would definitely recommend this tour! I also strongly suggest that you check the weather before you book your tour to make sure it's not too cloudy!

Both were great in providing the service, and the driver were really eager to make sure all of us had great time during that day. He also took us to very special place where we could enjoy watching Mount Fuji although the 5th station was closed due to slippery. Was such a great experience and service.

For the price, the tour was great.
Easy location to find and super easy boarding/checking in process, places to buy food and stop for the toilet on route, lots of free time to do what you want and to choose to do or not to do certain activities.

All in all a very easy, unstressful day. Which is what I find is the best way on these day excursions - and for the price, roughly £55 for the day (minus activities), its a great and cheap way to go see a beautiful and popular place in Japan.

The booking experience with Veltra was good. Their customer care was quite responsive as well. The booking details did mentioned the waiting location was at Shinjuku Center Building with a person holding sign board, however, the building area is quite big with few entrances, unluckily, Google brought us to incorrect entrance and we spent some time to find the correct entrance. After boarded bus, the lady tour guide provided each family a handout and started to introduce Japan and Tokyo. She seems just read some script for the whole introduction. We hardly can understand what was she talking due to different slang. It took us about 3 hours to reach 5th station. Before alight, the lady tour guide just informed us need to be back to the bus in 45 mins. No further information was provided. We did not know what to expect and what to do after alighted bus. The handout that she provided earlier was for the 2nd itinerary, cruise and ropeway and nothing about 5th station. It was a rainy day and was very cold. End up we spent the 45 mins to search and queuing up for toilet. 1 of the family didn't get back to the bus on time. We being 'punished' to have shorter lunch later. The ambience of the lunch venue as well as their meal was great. We enjoyed very much for the lunch. After lunch, while we getting up to the bus, the lady tour guide distributed each of us 2 vouchers, one for cruise and another one for free ice-cream. Unfortunately, we were being distributed with the wrong numbers of voucher. We got 1 more free ice-cream voucher but 1 less cruise voucher. While we noticed this mistake, it was too late to clarify with the lady tour guide as she was left with the bus. We were being arranged to get back to Tokyo with different tour guide and different bus. Overall, we did not have good experience with the services that this tour provided, but we would like to praise for the great lunch, clean bus and beautiful scenery. We hope we can have more time at 5th station.

We hoped to see Mt. Fuji, but, unfortunately, it rained the day of our booked tour and Mt. Fuji was not to be seen. But all was not lost. Our driver, Toshi, picked us up promptly at the scheduled time and drove us to the Mt. Fuji area. On the way he gave us information on local sites that we passed. Our guide, Yuko, was very knowledgeable and gave us options for our rainy day. Our driver and guide learned that we liked to hike so we went to a beautiful shrine at the base of Mt. Fuji and hiked on an ancient trail to the first station. A great way to experience Mt. Fuji on a rainy day. Yuko gave much information on local customs and the Shinto religion involving the mountain. We then had a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant. Following this, we chose to go to a museum featuring a world renowned textile artist who made kimono art. These were fabulous. It was then late in the day and we traveled back to Tokyo. A different experience than we hoped for due to the rain, but a memorable and enjoyable day thanks to Toshi and Yuko. We definitely recommend their services for guide and driver for the Mt. Fuji tour. They’re the best!

This tour is definitely value for money compared to others. You get a bus ride to the 5th Station, nice lunch, boat ride and rope way experience to a look out. It was mostly well organised outside of the tour guide not knowing how many kids were in our group or what defined a child according to the tour company, and that our group consisted of 4 women instead of 2 men and 2 women. Also, I had spoken to the Veltra staff Well in advanced, about organising a meal that my kids could have for lunch due to allergies and they were extremely helpful however on the day, my 10, 12 and 14 year olds were given 3 blocks each of what I assume was not warm tempura tofu. Thank goodness the dessert was something they liked.

We saw Mt Fuji the whole way on the way to the 5th station however as soon as we arrived at the 5th station, the clouds came over and that was the end of that. I can imagine that the boat ride, rope way and look out would have been amazing if Mt Fuji was visible but it wasn’t. I guess that can’t be helped. Maybe the timing of the tour is out. I’m not sure.
Anyway, overall the tour was good and worth booking in the hope of seeing an amazing view of Mt Fuji. Good luck.

I think this is a very good tour for efficiently getting around. About 80% of the participants were foreigners, and there were only three Japanese people, including myself. The guide was also a foreigner, but very attentive, and the driver was easy to talk to. However, I was concerned about the manners of some of the foreigners.

効率よく回るにはとても良いツアーだと思います。外国人が80％くらいの参加で、日本人の方は、私を含めて3人でした。ガイドさんも、外国人ですが、、とても気配りのできる方で、ドライバーさんもひたしみやすかったです。ただ、外国人の一部のマナーが気になりました。

Really enjoyed this tour. Would recommend a weekday tour rather than weekend though. We booked for a Sunday and traffic to Fuji was thick and delayed which shortened time at the portion of tour visit to station of Mt Fuji. Also very crowded on Sundays. Tour guide was very pleasant and spoke very good English. Ropeway ride and lake cruise were a good combination. Tour Bus was clean and comfortable. Lunch stop and restaurant was great. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to book a tour for Mt Fuji.

We participated as a family. Since there are five of us, we couldn't take a taxi, and while purchasing tickets, our family tends to act independently, but we were really able to enjoy our sightseeing in Kyoto smoothly. We had plenty of time at each location. The distance to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is quite significant. Without verbal guidance, our family probably wouldn't have been able to get there. Thanks to the guide who took us from the bus to the entrance of the bamboo grove, we were able to go straight there without any detours. Thank you very much.

家族で参加させていただきました。家族五人なので、タクシーにも乗れないし切符購入してる間にそれぞれかってな行動する我が家の家族は本当に京都観光をスムーズに回ることができました。箇所ごとの時間も十分ありました。嵐山の竹林までは、結構の距離が有ります。口頭だけでは多分私達家族では行けなかったでしょう。ガイドさんがバスから竹林入口まで連れて来てくれたため、我が家の家族は寄り道もせず、真っ直ぐ行けました。ありがとうございました

We took 3hrs to reach 5th station and was given 45 minutes before departure. During the 45min, we were only able go to restroom as the restroom were so crowded, and took a few pictures around the shops..no time to walk around the fifth station at all..after that we head for lunch. The ambience of the restaurant was nice but we were only given 45min to finish our lunch..Lastly we went to cruise and ropeway before we headed back to shinjuku at 5pm. The overall experience was not very good as we spent most of the time traveling and limited time at the spot, the lady guide was not very friendly and instruction given was not clear.

It was great! The guide seemed very knowledgeable, however she did not speak English and we felt that we missed some information. She did have some videos in English and signs. Overall the tour was good and would recommend it!

We had a wonderful time on this tour, our tour guide mayumi was kind and giving details on the places we visited, we also had a safe trip.

Overall experience was great, we took a lot of pictures and mt fuji was so beautiful. In Lake kawaguchi we were amazed by the colorful leaves and beautiful scenery.

Will definitely recommend this tour to my friends and relatives.

It was great that we could visit the attractions by bus. It was cold, so I appreciated being told where to buy clothes and being given detailed directions for getting back.

I went on a one-day sightseeing tour of Kyoto, departing from JR Namba Station - OCAT Building 1F at 8:50.

Most of the participants were foreigners, but since the guide was Japanese, there were no particular issues.

I only participated in the bus tour, and lunch was at Kiyomizu-dera. I think we had about an hour and a half there? We had lunch at a nearby shop close to the bus parking lot, and by the time we walked to Kiyomizu-dera and back, we were cutting it close, haha.

For Arashiyama, the guide took us to the "Bamboo Grove Path," but we took some photos along the way, and after passing through Tenryu-ji (which has an entrance fee), we were cutting it close again, haha.

I think it's a good option for first-timers to quickly visit the representative spots in Kyoto.

ほぼ外国の方ですが、ガイドさんが日本人なので特に問題ありません。

バスツアーのみの参加で昼食は清水寺でした。
滞在時間が1時間半だったかな？
先にバス駐車場近くのお店で昼食を取り、歩いて清水寺まで行くと帰って来るまで時間ギリギリですｗ

嵐山も「竹林の小径」までガイドさんが送ってくれますが、手前辺りで写真撮って、天龍寺(有料)の中を通って帰って、時間ギリギリでしたｗ

初めてで駆け足で京都の代表的な所を回るにはいいと思います。

I think I wouldn't have been able to get to the destination so smoothly, so I'm glad I signed up for the tour as I could enjoy sightseeing without struggling with waiting times.

こんなにスムーズに現地まで行くことすら出来なかったと思うので待ち時間に苦戦すること無く観光出来たのでツアーに申込んで良かったです。

From Kyoto Station to Fushimi Inari, it's just a two-station train ride. After that, I took a bus to Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama, which made traveling quite easy. However, there was traffic congestion, and I couldn't take my time to enjoy the sights as much as I wanted.

One particular issue was the restrooms. The line for the women's restroom took a lot of time, which resulted in not having enough time to explore. It would have been nice to have a bit more time at each location, but then I wouldn't have been able to visit all four places, so it's a tricky situation.

京都駅から伏見稲荷までは電車で二駅の移動
その後はバスで清水寺〜金閣寺〜嵐山と廻り移動はかなり楽でした
ただ車の渋滞や混雑もありあまりゆっくり観ることはできませんでした
特に困ったのがトイレ
女性トイレが並んでいてそれだけで時間がとられ結果あまり見て回る時間がとれなかったのが残念でした
場所場所でもう少し時間が欲しいところだけどそうすると4箇所も回らなくなるし難しいところですね

I participated at the end of October. I entered Kanazawa the day before from Tokyo and planned to visit Shirakawa-go and Gokayama the next day, then return by Shinkansen that night. I was worried that it might be difficult by train and local bus when I found this tour. It was efficient to visit both places, and the guide was great. The White Road was also beautiful with autumn leaves.

10月末に参加しました。都内から前日金沢に入り翌日白川郷と五箇山を廻ってその夜新幹線で帰る予定で考えましたが、電車や路線バスでは無理かと悩んでいた時にこのツアーを見つけました。
効率的に2ヶ所を巡れてガイドさんも良かったです。ホワイトロードも紅葉が綺麗でした。

It was well planned and the places we visited were wonderful. Yusuke san, the guide was helpful and entertaining all the way. The only thing which was upsetting was that some of the visitors from other tour groups who joined in the Lake Kawaguchi Cruise threw their plastic wrappers into the lake for convenience :(
I hope there are stronger measures to stop this littering to help preserve the beautiful lake.

Despite me losing my wallet, I must still compliment the guide Ms Akiko, the bus captain and Mr Zhang a staff from their Osaka back office for trying to help me locate my lost wallet.

The service is simply outstanding. Despite the fact I didn’t recover my wallet, my family and I still really enjoyed the trip. Thank you...

Ken and Ishi made our day very special.  We appreciate their efforts very much and would highly recommend them for their knowledge and professionalism.
Ishi was a most excellent driver in heavy traffic.
Ken answered our questions about the tour sights, as well as many about Japanese culture. He also amused us with a Japanese lesson during the long drive. When weather prevented us from seeing Mt. Fuji, they substituted other sights to compensate. The Hoto restaurant they chose for lunch was also excellent. We could not have had better, more attentive guides.
We give them the highest recommendation.

The western lunch package is very nice. Three course meal and you can take photo outside of restaurant.

I'm glad I was able to explore Kyoto in one day. It felt like a school trip for my husband and me, and we had a lot of fun. However, since it was a plan that included lunch, it would have been better if we had a bit more time at Kiyomizu-dera. Thank you to our guide.

The tour was very well organized, meeting place and all instructions are clear, receptionists and tour guides spoke very good English. The activities are given enough time to enjoy and appreciate Mt Fuji from the 5th Station to the Ropeway and the Cruise. Lunch buffet was at a hotel near Fuji Q with a wide variety of food.

I read a lot of reviews complaining about not seeing Mt Fuji - it’s not the tour agency’s fault. Luckily it was very sunny and we saw Mt Fuji in all its glory.

The tour guide and driver are so nice and friendly, they made sure everyone had a great time. Not to mention the restaurant they took us for lunch has an epic My Fuji view!

I applied because Kyoto has heavy traffic and no parking. To be honest, it was a great decision. I want to participate again.
