This time, I participated in a tour through the GO TO campaign. Since I went on a weekday, there weren't too many participants, and I was able to relax in the spacious seats of the bus until we arrived at our destination. In Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, there were few tourists due to COVID-19, so I was able to take a lot of photos, and I'm glad I went now. I felt that three hours in Shirakawa-go was not enough. The tour guide's explanations were clear and helpful. The campaign made it affordable, and although it would be difficult to get to Shirakawa-go on my own, this day trip was very easy and appealing for someone like me who doesn't have much time!

今回はGO TOキャンペーンでツアーに参加しました。
平日に行ったので、ツアーの参加者も多すぎず、バス内では席も広く目的地に到着するまでゆったり過ごせました。
白川郷や五箇山ではコロナの関係もあり、観光客の人は少なく、写真も沢山撮れて、今行けて良かったなと思います。
白川郷の滞在時間が3時間では足りないと思うくらいでした。
ツアーガイドさんも説明がわかりやすくよかったです。
キャンペーンで安くなったのと、白川郷まで自分で行くのは難しいけれど、日帰りでとても楽に行けて、時間がない私にとっては魅力的なツアーでした！

At first, we had our temperatures checked and sanitized before boarding, and we sanitized every time we got on the bus. There were assigned seats to keep groups separated, and half of the seats were empty.

Perhaps because there were few participants, we gathered earlier than the meeting time, so we returned earlier as well.

Lunch was quite generous, and thanks to the GOTO campaign, it was a great deal. The regional common coupons were also very useful for dinner, making it a fantastic bargain.

Both the driver and the guide provided various explanations and were very pleasant.

Even though we were worried about the typhoon, the weather turned out to be cloudy and sunny, which was perfect.

I’m glad I signed up for this tour.

最初は検温・除菌して乗り込み、バスに乗るたび除菌しました。グループごと離れるよう座席指定がありました。半分は空席でした。
参加者が少ないからか、集合時間より早く集まったので帰って来たのが早かったです。
お昼ご飯も中々たっぷりしてたのにGOTOキャンペーンでとってもお得で良かったです。
地域共通クーポンも夕飯に使えて超お得でした。
運転手さんもガイドさんも色々説明してくれて、とても感じが良かったです。
台風の心配をしてたのに曇りと晴れで最高でした。
このツアーを申し込んで正解でした。

I chose this tour because it was convenient for traveling to and from Shirakawa-go. I wanted to join a tour that also included Takayama, but since the schedule didn't match, I participated in this one instead. The guide's talk during the bus ride was informative, with just the right amount of detail—not too much and not too little. In Shirakawa-go, we visited the largest house and then had free time to stroll around, check out 2-3 souvenir shops, and leisurely head to the designated restaurant for our meal. The food was delicious. After that, we went to Gokayama and stopped by a rice cracker shop on the way back, making for a packed tour.

白川郷までの行き帰りが便利なのでツアーにしました。高山も一緒に回れるツアーに行きたかったのですが、日程が合わなかったためにこちらのツアーに参加しました。行き帰りのバスの中でのガイドさんのお話は、詳しいながらも多すぎることもなく少ないこともない適量でした。白川郷では一番大きい1軒のみ中を見学し、あとはゆっくり歩いて見て回り、お土産やさんを2～3軒みて、それから食事に決められた場所へゆっくり向かうくらいの自由時間でした。食事は美味しかったです。その後、五箇山に行き、更にお煎餅やさんに寄って帰るという、盛り沢山のツアーでした。

Despite participating during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was able to enjoy it without any worries. Although the weather was rainy, Shirakawa-go was still a breathtaking sight. The recommended photo spots and souvenirs from the tour guide were also very satisfying. I received an email on my way home saying that I would be eligible for a Goto Travel discount and would even receive a cashback. Thank you very much.

It was amazing to tour on a double-decker bus while feeling the breeze. The scenery I always see looked fresh and new. The cherry blossom season and illuminations also seem enjoyable.

風を感じながら2階立てバスで観光最高です。
いつも見ている景色が新鮮にみえました。
桜の時期やイルミネーションも楽しそう。

I participated in a tour in mid-September. The guide introduced recommended spots on the bus, which allowed us to efficiently visit the highlights during our exploration time. It was just the time when the rice fields were starting to change color, creating a beautiful landscape that looked like something out of a storybook.

9月中旬にツアー参加しました。バスの中ではガイドさんがおすすめのスポットなどを紹介して下さり、おかげで散策の時間に効率的に見所を巡れました。
ちょうど田んぼの稲が色付き始めている時期で、昔話の絵本に出てくるような、とても綺麗な風景でした。

The bus driver said, "It's been 25 years since we could take photos without people in them." Perhaps due to the drastic decrease in tourists, the express bus service has been reduced, so I hurriedly signed up for a tour with Veltra. It was very affordable since I could use the Go To campaign.

Additionally, the local veteran guide shared some hidden spots with us, allowing us to visit places we would have missed if we had gone on our own. The lunch was also healthy and great.

Veltra's tours are always reliable, so I will definitely use them again.

バスの運転手さん曰く、「人が写り込まないで写真が撮れるのは25年振り」だそうです。
観光客が激減したせいか、高速バスが減便してしまったため、急遽ベルトラさんのツアーに申し込みました。
gotoキャンペーンが使えたので、とてもお得でした。
また、現地のベテランガイドさんに、穴場スポットも教えていただき、個人で行くと見逃してしまう場所に行くことができました。
お昼ご飯もヘルシーで良かったです。

ベルトラさんのツアーは外れがないので、また利用させていただきます。

This was my first time participating in a domestic optional tour. I joined as a solo traveler, but there was plenty of free time on-site, allowing me to explore as I pleased. For lunch, we were served a small portion of Hida beef. I was grateful to be comfortably taken to Gokayama, which is difficult to reach on my own.

The bus was arranged to ensure social distancing, with a vinyl sheet separating the driver from the passengers. We had temperature checks during the gathering, and hand sanitization was required each time we boarded the bus.

Although it was unfortunately rainy, thanks to our guide, Kuroda, I was able to enjoy the tour. The content of his talks was rich and engaging, without being pushy, and there was a nice balance to it. He was a true professional guide.

I definitely want to participate in another tour with Kuroda.

初めての国内オプショナルツアー参加でした。
1人参加でしたが、現地では自由時間がメインで、好きに行動出来ました。
ランチには（少量ですが）飛騨牛も出ました。
個人では行きにくい五箇山へも快適に連れて行って貰えたので、助かりました。

バス内はソーシャルディスタンスをとって座れるよう配慮されており、ドライバーさんとの間にはビニールシートでの仕切りがありました。
集合時に検温、バスの乗車毎に手指消毒もするようになっていました。

あいにくの雨天でしたが、ガイドの黒田さんのおかげで、ツアーを楽しめました。
お話の内容も盛りだくさんで、押し付けがましいところは無く、メリハリがありました。
本物のプロのガイドさんでした。

是非又、黒田さんの別のツアーにも参加してみたいと思っています。

It was a day course with lunch included, and both the tour guide and the driver were very polite and provided various explanations. The weather was nice, a bit hot, but I thoroughly enjoyed Shirakawa-go. There were only three participants, including myself, but we were able to spend our time comfortably. The lunch featured local specialty dishes, and I was satisfied with the content. There was plenty of time for sightseeing in Hida Takayama, and I walked around every corner of the town. The retro atmosphere and the streets filled with Showa-era charm were wonderful. The final experience of making hand-baked rice crackers was also interesting. I think I will participate again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

１日の昼食付きコースでしたが添乗員さんも運転手さんも丁寧で色々な説明をしていただきました。天気も良くちょっと暑かったですが白川郷も堪能いたしました。参加者は私を含めて3名だけでしたが気持ち良く過ごすことができました。昼食も地元の名物料理でしたが内容も満足いたしました。飛騨高山の観光も十分な時間があり街の隅々まで歩いてまわりました。レトロで昭和感の溢れる街並みが素敵でした。最後の手焼き煎餅体験も面白かったです。また機会があれば参加しようと思います。ありがとうございました。

- I participated in the September holiday and was able to take my time exploring.
- Although the meeting time was a bit early, thanks to that, we could stroll around Shirakawa-go without getting caught in traffic.
- It was great to visit not only the famous Shirakawa-go but also the Ainokura Gassho-zukuri Village.

・9月の連休に参加しましたが、ゆっくり回ることができました。
・ちょっと早めの集合時間ですが、そのおかげで渋滞に巻き込まれずに白川郷を散策できました。
・日本人に有名な白川郷だけでなく、相倉合掌造り集落も回れてとても良かったです。
・ガイドの黒田さんはガイド詩に載っていない、おすすめ撮影スポット等を下さい、それだけでも参加した価値があったと思います。

We participated as a family of six. We raced through the mountains on mountain bikes and thoroughly enjoyed the deep nature of Hakone under Mr. Kato's insightful commentary. Our youngest, who is in fifth grade and whom I was most worried about (though I wasn't really that worried), ended up leading the way, competing with his older brother and Mr. Suzuki, and had the most fun. The older sisters and mom also enjoyed themselves at their own pace. Next time, I would like to try a different course with the whole family, including our second daughter who couldn't join this time.

家族6人で参加しました。野山をマウンテンバイクで駆け抜け、加藤さんのアジのある解説のもと、箱根の奥深い自然を満喫できました。一番心配していた(実はあまり心配していなかった)小5の末っ子もお兄ちゃんや鈴木さんと競うように先頭切って走って一番楽しんでました。お姉ちゃん達、ママもマイペースで楽しんでました。今度は別のコースを今回参加できなかった次女も一緒に家族全員で走ってみたいです。

Depending on the tour, the time may be short, but it is organized at a leisurely pace. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch. Alcohol disinfection and mask-wearing are strictly enforced, so you can participate with peace of mind.

ツアーによっては、時間が短かったりしますが、これは、ゆっくり組まれてます。昼食も、おいしくいただけます。
アルコール消毒や、マスクも徹底されていて、安心して参加できます。

Both the driver and the guide were friendly and kind. They were knowledgeable and had great conversation skills.

In Shirakawa-go and the Aikawa settlement, I was able to gain information that only participants of the tour would know, and I took the best photos. They also shared various insights about the World Heritage site, which linked well with what my daughter is currently learning about Japanese history and culture, making it a valuable study experience for her.

The final experience of making rice crackers was fun, and I was pleasantly surprised that we could take a detour to Toyama Prefecture. We were able to visit three places: Kanazawa, Gifu, and Toyama.

I highly recommend this tour.

ドライバーさんもガイドさんも気さくで善い方でした。知識も豊富でトークもバッグンです。
白川郷、相川集落ではツアーに参加した方のみしか知らない情報を得られ最高の写真撮影ができました。
世界文化遺産の知識もいろいろと教えてくださり
日本の歴史や文化を習っている最中の娘には座学と実物とがリンクして勉強になったようです。
ツアー最後のおせんべい焼き体験は楽しく、思いがけず富山県にも寄り道できて嬉しいかったです。
金沢→岐阜→富山3つもまわれました。

I felt that the rainy days had more charm. The tour guide was very polite. I think it's a good idea to ask about delicious restaurants. Overall, it was a great tour.

I searched for a tour that wouldn't be crowded for my elderly mother, who has health issues, and decided to join this one. On the day of the tour, it was just me, my mother, and her friend participating. They took thorough measures for temperature checks, sanitization, and maintaining distance between guests, so the COVID-19 precautions were excellent. Both my mother and her friend were very satisfied and said they wanted to try this in all four seasons! I was also thrilled by the beautiful night view of Tokyo, and I can't forget the impressive sight of Tokyo Tower that day. I am very grateful to all the staff who organized the tour while making efforts to prevent infections during the pandemic. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

高齢で持病ありの母のために、密にならないツアーを探しこちらに参加しました。
当日は私、母、母の友人の３人で参加。
検温、消毒、お客さん同士の間隔もしっかりとられていて、コロナ対策もばっちりでした。
母も母の友人も大満足で、春夏秋冬すべての季節に挑戦する！と言っていました。
私も綺麗な東京の夜景に大興奮で、あの日見た東京タワーの迫力は忘れられません。
コロナ禍の中、感染防止に努めながらツアーを開催して下さっているスタッフの皆さまに大感謝です。

It was a quick but enjoyable time, with plenty of services from the driver and interesting explanations from the guide. From a perspective that you wouldn't normally experience, you can enjoy sights like Tokyo Tower and the expressway, feeling like you're on a little roller coaster from the height of the bus. I would like to try a different course next time. My elementary school-aged child was also very happy.

あっという間の時間でしたが、運転手さんのサービスも盛り沢山、ガイドさんの解説も楽しめました。普段では味わえない目線からの東京タワーや高速道路など、バスの高さからちょっとしたジェットコースターに乗った気分を味わえます。今度は違うコースに行ってみたいですね。小学生の子供も喜んでました。

I was taken to a place that is difficult to reach on foot. Not only our tour guide, Mr. Suzuki, but also the staff from the Hakone Visitor Center accompanied us and provided explanations about Hakone's nature, allowing us to learn a lot. There were steep slopes that felt tough on my usually lazy legs, and my backside was sore afterward, but I had a great time. Thank you very much.

歩いて行くには大変な場所に連れていっていただくことができました。
ツアーガイドの鈴木さんだけではなく箱根のビジターセンターの方もついて箱根の自然について解説をしてくださるので学ぶことができます。
ふだんサボっている足にはきつく感じる上り坂もあり、終わったあとはおしりも痛いですが、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

Perhaps due to the impact of the new infectious disease, both the observation deck and Shirakawa-go were easy to visit.

There was plenty of time for strolling, and the guide shared various tips about photo spots and recommended souvenirs from Kanazawa, which was great.

The seats are assigned with quite a bit of space in between. While the bus was moving, there was an incredible wind, so I was able to enjoy the ride without worry. The night view was more beautiful than I had imagined. I would like to participate again.

座席はかなり間隔をあけて指定されています。バスが動いている間は、物凄い風なので、心配なく過ごせました。
夜景は想像以上にきれいでした。また参加したい。

This is a tour around Shirakawa-go and Takayama. The guide, Mr. K, shared very interesting stories, and in Shirakawa-go, I was shown recommended photo spots. The lunch was delicious, and there was plenty of free time for exploring in Takayama, allowing us to enjoy souvenir shops and street food. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the availability of rental plastic umbrellas and reminders for hand sanitizer, which are often overlooked. Thank you for your hospitality during that time.

白川郷と高山を周るツアーです。
ガイドのKさんのお話がとても興味深く、白川郷ではおすすめの写真撮影スポットを教えてもらえました。
お昼ご飯も美味しく、高山では自由散策の時間がたっぷりで、お土産屋さんや食べ歩きも楽しむことができます。
貸し出し用のビニール傘が用意されていたり、忘れがちなアルコール消毒のお声掛けを頂いたり、細やかなお心遣いが嬉しかったです。

this was a great day tour, you got to see so much of tokyo , while riding around in the air-con bus! the guides were so much fun, and so helpful, we learned so much. there was a little bite of everything on this tour with not a whole lot of long walks. shrines were great and we loved the tokyo tower.

this is a great full day tour from tokyo, but was never a dull moment on the wholw trip. guide was informed, helpful , and very fun! ever stop was full of hstory and great views. mt. fuji was everything we hoped it woulf be. fun boat rides and the bullet train blow us away.

I wanted to go from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go, and while researching how to get there, I discovered this tour and decided to join. It seems you can also go by bus, but since the price difference isn't significant, I think it was a good choice to participate in the tour. The guide also provides information about great spots for taking photos.

金沢から白川郷に行きたいと思い、行き方を調べる中で
このツアーを発見して参加しました。
バスでも行くことが出来るようですが、価格差もあまりないため、
ツアー参加にして良かったと思います。

To sum up what I liked:

✦ Big comfortable tour bus
✦ Bilingual guide sharing amazing details
✦ Good amount of time at each spot, not too long/not too short
✦ Group was half Japanese half international, everyone was very nice
✦ Tour was very timely and organized

Due to the COVID-19 situation, there were hardly any tourists in Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. The pace of time was also slow, allowing us to leisurely explore the World Heritage site. The guide was very pleasant, and I was impressed by the detailed explanations. The lunch was delicious, making it a very satisfying day tour. Thank you very much.

コロナ騒ぎで白川郷と五箇山は観光客が殆どいませんでした。時間のペースもゆっくり取ってあるので、のんびり世界遺産を散策することが出来ました。ガイドの方は大変感じが良い方で、詳しい説明に感銘を受けました。お昼も美味しく、大満足の1日ツアーでした。ありがとうございました。

First of all, the guide was very good at speaking, and before I knew it, we arrived at our destination. We were blessed with great weather and had a lot of fun. The bathroom breaks and free time were just right, and at the end, we were introduced to a recommended restaurant (laughs), which made it a fulfilling experience! I want to try going again in the summer.

I was very lucky that we had a clear day during our Mt. Fuji trip so the group I was with was able to do and visit all the attractions as stated on the description except that we were only able to visit 1st station since 4th and 5th station were closed due to heavy snow. It's not a big deal though as there are still lots of chances to see the magnificent Mt. Fuji on the way. If you're planning to visit Mt Fuji during winter, make sure to layer well since its colder there compared to the city. Expect as well a long travel time from Tokyo to Mt Fuji as it's roughly 139 km away. And lastly, I highly suggest to take the option with Bullet train as it will only take you 40 mins back to Tokyo compared to 2-3 hours travel back by bus.

FYI, the bus first row (left and right) are reserved for the guide and driver#2!

The full day tour covered most of the attractions I want to visit in Tokyo! A must tour if you have a limited time and want to cover popular attractions.
Recommendation though for future travelers, please allot plenty of time to go the meeting point. Please consider as well Google Maps live view, its really helpful finding places in Tokyo! Honor as well the time provided by your tour guide, be back on the bus as he/she stated so you'll visit all the places on time.

FYI, the first row on the bus (left and right) are reserved for the tour guide and the 2nd driver!

They provided necessary information about local attractions and shops, but I appreciated that they maintained a comfortable distance, allowing us to explore freely. We had plenty of free time and were able to stroll leisurely. The souvenir shop we visited during the rice cracker baking experience was also pleasant, making for a nice break during our long travels. They also took precautions against the coronavirus, which made our time there enjoyable.

現地の見所やお店の紹介など必要な情報提供はしっかりしてくださいますが、適度な距離を取って自由にさせてくださるところが居心地良かったです。
自由時間も余裕があり、ゆっくり散策できました。
せんべい焼き体験で立ち寄ったお土産物屋さんも感じがよく、長距離移動の良い休憩になりました。
コロナウイルス対策も配慮してくださっていて、気持ちよく過ごすことができました。

I booked a tour on Sunday since I happened to be nearby during my trip to Kanazawa. Overall, I was very satisfied with the price of 7,800 yen, which included lunch, a guide's talk, a rice cracker grilling experience, and a small souvenir.

I was hoping to have Hida beef grilled on a magnolia leaf for lunch, but to my surprise, it was the main dish! My companion had been wanting to eat Hida beef for a long time, so we were both very happy. The meat was quite substantial, and in addition to the main dish, there were also local delicacies like sweet simmered fish and pickles, making for a fun menu. We also enjoyed walking around the village trying local treats like doburoku kintsuba and gohei mochi, as well as Hida beef skewers.

The rice cracker grilling experience was over in a flash, and it felt more like a bonus to have tea while grilling the crackers. Along the way, we heard interesting stories about the origins of Kanazawa and places like Kanazawa Castle, which made it very enjoyable. The bus guide and the taxi driver we met in Kanazawa were both very knowledgeable about delicious restaurants and sightseeing spots, which was surprising. It seems everyone has studied hard.

The plan was from 9:20 to around 15:00, and personally, I had a slight desire to enjoy Gifu until around 17:00 when the sun sets, but this timing allowed us to relax after returning to Kanazawa. After we returned, we went to see Kenrokuen, which was beautifully illuminated.

*I noticed that the prices differ between weekends and weekdays, and I wondered why when I made the reservation, but I realized on the day that the plans were different. I had been looking at the weekday plan schedule from the website when I first checked. I think it would be helpful to change the specifications so that the schedule differs depending on whether you choose a weekend or a weekday.

I highly recommend this tour if you're considering it!

金沢旅行の最中にせっかく近くまできたからと日曜日にツアーを予約。全体で言うと、7,800円で昼食・ガイドさんのお話・お煎餅焼き体験・プチお土産でのこのお値段で大満足です。

朴葉焼き食べたいな〜お昼に出たら嬉しいな〜くらいの気持ちだったのですが、まさかのランチで飛騨牛の朴葉焼きがメイン！連れもずっと飛騨牛が食べたいと騒いでいたのでとても嬉しかったです。お肉もしっかりボリュームがあり、メイン以外にも土地ならではのお魚の甘露煮やお漬物もあって楽しいメニューでした。。どぶろくきんつばや五平餅、飛騨牛串など集落での食べ歩きも楽しかったです。
お煎餅焼き体験は本当にあっという間で、お茶をするオマケにお煎餅を焼くくらいの感じでした。
道中では金沢の街の由来や所以のある金城麗澤など、ならではのお話が聞けてとても楽しかったです。バスガイドさんも金沢の街中で乗ったタクシーの運転手さんも美味しいお店や名所などの観光地話にとても詳しくて驚きました。皆さんしっかりお勉強されてるんですね。

9:20～15:00頃のプランで個人的には日が落ちる17:00くらいまで岐阜を満喫したい気持ちも少しありましたが、このくらいが金沢に戻ってもゆったりできるからいいのかな？私たちは戻った後にライトアップされている兼六園を見に行きました。

※土日と平日で値段が異なり、何故だろうと思いながら予約しましたがプランが違かったことに当日気づきました。ずっとHPで最初に調べた際の(平日プランの)日程表をみていました。間違えやすいと思うので、土日を選択した場合と平日を選択した場合とでそれぞれ日程表が変わるように仕様変更していただきたいです。

迷ってるなら行った方がいいとオススメできるツアーでした！
