I debated between the ferry and the jet foil, but prioritized saving time and made my decision. It's recommended since you can travel for less than the regular fare as long as you've decided to board.
By the way, when making a reservation, you need to set a time, but if you want to change the time, you can do so by calling before departure, even up until the last minute. (I inquired directly about whether I could decide the boarding time on the day of travel, and that was the response I received.) I haven't heard about changes across different days, so I'm not sure, but I think they are quite flexible.
The level of motion depends on the sea conditions that day. I didn't feel any seasickness at all, but my companion looked a bit unwell.

I used a twin room by myself!! If I can enjoy a comfortable time at that price, it's the best. Towards the end of my trip, I wanted to sleep slowly without worrying about others watching, so I chose a private room.
