I visited Miyako Island during a winter with little sunshine, but when I checked the weather forecast, it miraculously showed clear skies for the next day, so I made a reservation from here the day before! I was very happy that they kindly accepted my last-minute booking.
First, regarding the Pumpkin Cave tour, the guide skillfully navigated while avoiding the coral, provided thorough explanations, and even took photos for us, making for a delightful experience.
During the afternoon snorkeling, it was my first time snorkeling, but they explained the equipment well, which made me feel very safe while swimming. I was thrilled to encounter a sea turtle, and above all, I was able to appreciate the beauty of Miyako Island's waters throughout the experience, so I’m really glad I participated!

We gathered at the Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal, boarded our transport, and headed deep into Ishigaki Island for about 20 minutes, exploring the dark jungle with a flashlight in hand. Without the light, it was truly dark around us, which added to the thrill. During the tour, we saw large hermit crabs and coconut crabs. With no lights around, the stars were incredibly clear and bright.
I had worn long sleeves and long pants as a precaution since we were informed we would be walking through the bushes, and it felt just right for both the weather and safety.
The guide was very skilled at communicating and answered participants' questions with care.
I initially thought it would be a casual experience, but I was satisfied with how immersive it turned out to be.

We gathered at a nearby parking lot with our rental car and met up with the tour guide to start the tour. The Stand-Up Paddleboarding at Kabira Bay took place a bit away from the glass-bottom boat boarding area. I was relieved that it wasn't right next to the glass-bottom boat. It felt like a hidden beach, and it was almost like we had it to ourselves, which was great.
The Blue Cave was located beyond an off-road path that you definitely couldn't reach with a personal rental car, and it was further along a beach after passing through the jungle. It had a sense of adventure and was quite nice. The sea was clear and beautiful, with lots of fish. I had a lot of fun even as a solo participant. I'm also grateful for all the photos I received.

Honestly, I thought I would see plenty of the ocean if I went to Ishigaki Island, so I wanted to learn about some different attractions of Ishigaki Island. That's when I found this tour. In the morning, we landed on the Phantom Island and went snorkeling (ocean), and in the afternoon, we did mangrove kayaking (river), which was a perfect balance and not just focused on the ocean. Both the Phantom Island and the mangroves took us to places that would be impossible to reach on our own, so I’m glad I participated.

This was undoubtedly the most enjoyable tour among the kayaking and snorkeling tours I've participated in across various locations, even though both of us are experienced! The guides were incredibly personable and didn't give off a sense of it being just a job. In previous tours in other regions, the guides sometimes had a vibe of "this is just work," but the guides in Phi Phi had none of that! They seemed to be having the most fun themselves. Of course, I understand that they are working, but their professionalism in not showing that was truly impressive.

Walking through the sea to get to the Pumpkin Cave was really fun because the water was beautiful. I was surprised by how narrow the entrance to the cave was.
However, once inside the cave, it opened up, and a large stalagmite shaped like a pumpkin came into view, which amazed me with its size. Climbing on top of that stalagmite revealed a different world that was quite enchanting.
After exploring inside, I jumped from the top of the pumpkin stalagmite! It was truly enjoyable.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. I just wish the photos would arrive soon. I'm looking forward to them.

In the morning, I was picked up at the hotel and headed to the boat dock for the Phantom Island, which took about 10 minutes. From there, we took a boat to Phantom Island for about 20 minutes. While on the boat, it's better to wear something like a windbreaker since you'll get splashed by the wind and water. At Phantom Island, the guide takes a lot of photos with a waterproof camera, so it's a good idea to think of poses in advance, haha. When snorkeling, you'll enter the sea in a wetsuit, so there's no need to worry about the cold. 川平湾も青の洞窟も普段目にかかれない絶景スポットで、感動の連続でした。特に川平湾でSUPの上に立って川平湾を漕いで回れたのは一生モノの思い出です。自分には無理、と思い込んでいましたが、ガイドのケイさんの的確なアドバイスと励ましのおかげで、2時間弱の中で無事会得しました！ボードの上に立った時の感動は今でもなお残っています。こうして思い切ることができたのも、近くにプロのケイさんがいて安心させてくれたからだと思います。本当に感謝したいです。翌日、なんとも言えない気持ちの良い筋肉痛が来て、頑張って踏ん張っていたんだなぁと実感しました笑。もちろんシュノーケリングもとても楽しく、充実した一日でした。ツアー内容もガイドさんの質も100点をあげたいです。

I was worried about the unstable weather forecast, but I was lucky that the weather was nice on the day of my visit. I was satisfied because I could enjoy both the sea and mangroves of Ishigaki Island. The snorkeling in the Blue Cave was amazing, with so many fish that I never got bored swimming. I fell in love with the sea of Ishigaki Island to the point where I wanted to swim in another location. The mangrove experience was relaxing and not too active, making it perfect after snorkeling. I want to come back in the summer next time!

This time, I wanted to see the blue ocean! I wanted to meet sea turtles! I wanted to visit the Pumpkin Cave! To fulfill these wishes, I hurriedly came to Miyako Island for a pre-honeymoon trip.
In the morning, we went snorkeling to meet sea turtles. Although it was cloudy and a bit chilly, I got to see beautiful coral reefs and many tropical fish, which made me feel like a child again as I enjoyed the natural aquarium and forgot about the cold. I was also able to meet two adorable sea turtles, which was a dream come true.
In the afternoon, we went on an exploration of the Pumpkin Cave. Fully equipped with helmets, we walked through the sea and entered a small cave entrance, where we immediately saw the large, mysterious Pumpkin Hall. With the help of our guide, we climbed up to Pumpkin Hall and explored the enchanting cave. I was truly moved by the greatness of nature.
Participating in this tour allowed me to have a valuable experience that I wouldn't normally have, creating many precious memories. Thanks to our kind guide's thorough explanations and assistance, I enjoyed the entire day. Thank you for all the wonderful photos!

ガイドさんの力も借りてパンプキンホールをよじ登り幻想的な鍾乳洞も探検しました。
本当に自然の偉大さに感動しました。
このツアー参加して普段では体験できない貴重な体験をさせていただき大切な思い出がたくさん出来ました。

We walked through the sea to get to Pumpkin Hall and even jumped in at the end, which was a lot of fun since it was something we don't usually do. We were told we might not see any sea turtles, but we were able to see them up close!

The kind and attentive guidance made it a lifelong memory! During the morning tour swimming with sea turtles, we gathered at Shinjo Beach and swam to a nearby spot where we found a sea turtle right next to us. We were able to swim together and take photos! It was my first experience, and the sea turtles were so cute; I was truly moved! After that, several more sea turtles appeared, and we were able to see many of them.
In the afternoon, we moved to the spot to go to Pumpkin, and we all walked together happily towards the entrance of Pumpkin. Once inside, a breathtaking view unfolded that I had never seen before, and we enjoyed a mystical spot! The instructor was also very kind and friendly, which allowed everyone to bond and enjoy a wonderful tour together. When I visit Miyako Island again, I would love to participate once more! I participated in the jungle tour with high expectations. However, since it was winter, it seems that the animals were hibernating, and I couldn't see the palm crab I was hoping for... which was a bit disappointing. The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, and I really enjoyed it! I was able to see shooting stars live, and combined with the sound of the waves, it was a blissful time just gazing at the sky. The guide also shared stories about Ishigaki Island while driving, which made it enjoyable! I would like to go again in the summer next time.

I participated in November. It goes quite deep into the mountains, more than I expected, but with a guide, we were able to spot animals, insects, and palm trees faster than anyone else, and they provided fun explanations, making it an incredibly valuable experience! Above all, there's no way I would have gone into such a dark mountain alone!
One slight disappointment was that there were no binoculars available for stargazing. I couldn't see much due to my poor eyesight. However, it was a very enjoyable time, completely out of the ordinary!

Although it requires a bit of walking to get to the Pumpkin Cave, it wasn't cold at all in December. I had a great time chatting with the young guides, and we arrived without any trouble. I was overwhelmed by the beautiful natural formations. They mentioned that there is a path for the gods, so we properly joined our hands in prayer with the guides before having some fun.
Jumping off the pumpkin-shaped stalagmite was quite exciting as well.
We also experienced snorkeling, where we encountered a sea turtle. It was so close that I could almost touch it when I reached out my hand. The guide took several photos of my husband and me with the sea turtle, which became a wonderful memory of our trip.
Of course, we also saw Nemo and many beautiful tropical fish.

パンプキン鍾乳洞へは 少し歩かなければなりませんが １２月だというのに 寒くなく 若いガイドさんたちと楽しくおしゃべりしていたら 苦も無く到着することができました。 自然の美しい造形物に圧倒されました。 神様の通り道があるとのことで そこで ちゃんとガイドさんたちと一緒に手を合わせてから 遊ばせてもらいました。
パンプキンの形の鍾乳石の上から 飛び降りるのも なかなかエキサイティングでした。
続けて シュノーケリングも体験したのですが ウミガメに遭遇しました。 手を伸ばしたら 今にもさわれそうなところにいました。 ガイドさんが 私たち夫婦とウミガメが一緒に写る写真を何枚も撮ってくれました。 旅のいい記念になりました。
もちろん ニモにも会いましたし きれいな熱帯魚たちも たくさん見ることができました。
本当に楽しかったです。 ありがとうございました。

I participated in the Shiratani Unsuikyo to Jomon Sugi course, and the guide kept us entertained with stories and quizzes about Yakushima the whole time, so I was able to finish the walk without feeling tired.
白谷雲水峡〜縄文杉のコースに参加しましたがガイドの方が終始屋久島についての話やクイズを出して楽しませながらガイドしてくれたので疲れを感じることなく、歩き終えることができました。

The Shiratani Unsuikyo and Jomon Sugi course is an advanced course, and I understand you might have felt anxious the day before, but I'm glad you were able to reach the goal safely. Depending on the customer, some people enjoy walking quietly for about 11 hours, but I have found that providing explanations and quizzes helps activate the brain and prevents injuries, which is why I have been guiding in this style for many years.
