Although the weather was unfortunately not great on the day of the tour, I was really impressed by how clear and beautiful the ocean was! It was my first time trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but thanks to the thorough instructions from the guide, I didn't fall into the water at all! (laughs)

Also, during the tour, the guide took wonderful photos, so if you're worried about falling into the water, you can leave it to the guide without any problems!

The morning tour started at 9 AM and ended just after 12 PM, which made it easy to plan other activities for the day! On the way back, the guide also recommended a great lunch tour in the city, so I had no trouble finding a place to eat! (After the tour, I went to Sushi Taro and had sushi, which was delicious!)

I thought it would be nice to do this again on a sunny day! Thank you very much!

当日はあいにくの天気でしたが、海が透き通って綺麗だったのがとても感動しました！
初めてSUPをしましたが、1から丁寧に教えてくださったおかげで海に落ちることはありませんでした！(笑)

また、ツアー中はガイドさんが素敵な写真を撮ってくださるので、海ポチャするか不安な人はガイドさんにお任せして問題ありません！


午前中のツアーで9時集合、12時過ぎ解散だったので朝から活動できて予定も組みやすいと思います！
帰りに市内のおすすめランチツアーをしてくださったのもあり、ランチに困ることはありませんでした！(解散後、すし太郎さんにいってお寿司をいただきました美味しかったです！)

次は晴れの日にまたやりたいな〜と思いました！

In the light rain, I, with no mountaineering experience, participated feeling full of doubts. My husband was very eager to go. We took a break halfway up. I was hesitating, thinking that if I turned back now, my husband would keep bringing it up, when the guide said, "If you're unsure, let's go!" and we set off?! In the end, we reached the summit of Taiko Rock! I'm so glad I didn't turn back halfway. I felt a great sense of achievement! Thank you, guide!

小雨の中、登山経験のない私。途中挫折満々で参加。夫は行く気満々。半分まできて休憩。これで帰ったら夫にずっと言われると迷っていたら、ガイドさんが迷っているなら行きましょうと出発？！で、結果、太鼓岩登頂！途中で帰らなくてよかった〜。目標達成感ありあり！

In the morning, I saw five sea turtles up close while snorkeling at Shinjo Beach. It was so cute to see them when they came up for air. I also got to see many different fish while receiving various explanations!

In the afternoon, I enjoyed paddleboarding in a calm area while leisurely paddling and watching the fish. It was my first experience, and I had a lot of fun! I want to do it again!

The guide, Mr. Hara, provided clear and thorough explanations, and I had a wonderful time! Thank you! ✨

午前中は新城海岸でのシュノーケリングでウミガメがめちゃくちゃ近くで5匹も見れました。息継ぎする瞬間すっごい可愛かったです他にもいろんな説明をしてもらいながら海の魚をたくさん見れました！
午後のSUPは落ち着いた場所でのんびり漕ぎながら魚も見れました。初めての体験でしたが、とても楽しかったです！また体験したいです！
ガイドの原さんの説明もわかりやすく、丁寧でとてもいい時間を過ごせました！ありがとうございました✨

In the morning, I participated in canoeing, and in the afternoon, I joined a snorkeling session. Although it was unfortunately cloudy, the sun occasionally peeked through the gaps in the clouds, and I was moved by the beauty of the sea at that moment. It was my first time canoeing, but I learned how to paddle, and gradually got the hang of it. The wind felt refreshing and invigorating.

For snorkeling, I wore a wetsuit, and at first, I thought it might be cold, but the shallow waters felt warm enough, so I was glad it wasn't chilly even in March. There were so many colorful fish, and while the deeper areas were a bit murky, the not-so-deep spots were clear, and I was thrilled to encounter a clownfish family. I wished I had a bit more time for snorkeling. I want to come back on a sunny day next time!

午前中カヌー、午後はシュノーケリングに参加しました。
あいにくの曇り空でしたが雲の隙間から時折太陽が出でき時の海の綺麗さに感動
カヌーも初めてでしたが漕ぎ方を教わり
だんだんコツもわかってきて風が気持ち良くって爽快でした。
シュノーケリングはウェットスーツを着ての参加だったので最初な寒いかなとも思いましたが
浅瀬は海水も暖かく感じるぐらいで
3月でも寒くなくてよかったです。
色とりどりの魚がいっぱいいて、
深いところは少し濁ってましたが
そんなに深くない所は良く見えたし
ニモ親子にも出会えて感動でした
もう少しシュノーケリングの時間があればいいなと思いました。
今度は晴れた日にまた来たい！

I participated based on a friend's recommendation. It was a hot day, but once I entered the cave, it was cool and I was moved by the mystical atmosphere. During physically demanding moments, I was able to enjoy myself without strain thanks to the support of the guide. The canoeing and the final jump were exciting and fun! I’m glad I was able to go at this timing, as I heard it might not be available soon.

Although I had reserved the afternoon session, it was suddenly changed to the morning due to tide conditions. I think it would be reassuring to pay attention to the operating times when participating.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Miyako Island. Thank you!

友人のおすすめで参加しました。
暑い日でしたがひとたび鍾乳洞の中に入ると涼しく、神秘的な空間で感動しました。
体力を使う場面ではガイドの方のサポートで無理なく安心して楽しむことができました。
カヌーや最後の飛び込みも盛り上がって楽しかったです！
近いうちに入れなくなるかもしれないとのことで、今回のタイミングで行けて良かったです。

午後の回を予約していたものの潮位の関係で急遽午前中の催行に変更となりました。
参加される際は催行時間に留意されると安心かと思います。

宮古島を訪れる方にぜひおすすめしたいツアーです。

This was my second time in Ishigaki Island. Since I had experienced kayaking on the river before, I participated this time at my daughter's request to try SUP in the ocean. The weather wasn't great, but Kabira Bay was very beautiful, and it was a truly luxurious experience to paddle through it on a SUP. The guide was very friendly, and everyone else in the group was nice as well, making the time in the car very enjoyable. I definitely want to come back next time! I’m thinking of trying activities in Iriomote Island next. Thank you very much.

今回2度目の石垣島でした。川でカヤックは体験したことがあったので、今回は海でSUPをしたいという娘の希望で参加させていただきました。
天気はイマイチでしたが、川平湾はとても綺麗で、その中をSUPで進むなんてとても贅沢な体験でした。
ガイドさんもとても親しみやすく、参加されていた他のグループの方も良い方ばかりで、車内もとても楽しかったです。
次回もぜひまたお世話になりたいです！
次は西表島のアクティビティをしてみたいと思っています。

I participated in the experience of swimming with sea turtles and exploring the Pumpkin Cave!

Before returning to the city, I decided I wanted to have a marine experience, so I made a reservation the day before and joined as a solo traveler. (Due to work commitments, I was alone, but it was nice to be with a family that had children.)

I didn't have much experience with snorkeling, but the instructor was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. (At first, I struggled to keep the goggles in place, and water kept getting in, but gradually I got used to it and was able to keep my face in the water for longer.)

As soon as we started looking for sea turtles, we found one right away, and later encountered another one. The sea turtle we found moved slowly and seemed to swim at the same pace as us, which was incredibly cute!

I was worried I might not get to see any, so I was really happy when I spotted one right away. It was a wonderful experience to swim right above the sea turtle!

After that, we moved by canoe to the Pumpkin Cave. (Canoeing uses quite a bit of arm muscle, haha.)

We entered through a very small entrance, and suddenly came across a large pumpkin-shaped formation, which was surprising!

Since there wasn't much depth, I thought that was the end, but then I was surprised again when they said we would climb through the cave! (It was less slippery than I expected, which was good.)

Inside was very mystical, and I felt the power of nature. I love experiences like this that make me feel excited as I venture deeper. At the end, we jumped into the sea from a spot about 2 meters high!

It became a truly memorable experience that makes me want to come back again.

The guide was also very kind, and it’s a tour that anyone can enjoy even if you’re alone, so I definitely recommend participating!☆

ウミガメと泳ぐ体験＋パンプキン鍾乳洞体験に
参加しました！

都内に帰る前にマリン体験がしたいと思い立ち、
女一人で前日に予約して参加しました。
（仕事の関係で1人参加でしたが
　お子さん連れの家族が一緒だったのでよかったです泣）

シュノーケル体験はあまり経験がなかったのですが、インストラクターのお兄さんが丁寧に説明してくれました。
（最初はゴーグルを抑えてないと水が入ってきてしまったりで慣れなかったのですが、だんだん長く海に顔をつけられるようになりました＾＾）

ウミガメを探し始めたら早速見つかり、
後にもう1匹にも遭遇。今回見つけたウミガメは
動きがゆっくりで、人間の泳ぐ速さに合わせてくれた感じがしてなんとも可愛らしかったです...!

遭遇できなかったら残念だなあと思っていましたが、すぐに会えたので嬉しかったです。
ウミガメの真上を泳ぐ、素敵な体験ができました！

その後はカヌーで移動してパンプキン鍾乳洞へ。
（カヌーは腕の筋肉けっこう使いますねｗ）

とても小さい入口から入り、中には
大きなカボチャの形をしたものがいきなり出てきてびっくり！

特に奥行きがなかったので、これで終わりかあ、と少し落胆してたら鍾乳洞を登ると言われまたびっくりｗ
（思っていたより滑りにくくてよかったです）

中はとても神秘的で、自然の凄さを体感しました。
奥に進んでいる時がワクワクするのでこういう体験は好きです。
最後は2mくらい高い場所から海へジャンプ！

また来たいと思える、とっても思い出に残る体験になりました。

We participated as a family.
Last year, we tried SUP for the first time in Iriomote Island, but this was our first try in Ishigaki Island.
The course choice by our wonderful guide, Miyuki, was great! We went through a mangrove tunnel crouching down, and she guided us to places that felt like a limestone cave, with some spots where we had to lie down to pass through, haha.
Of course, she also provided explanations about Ishigaki's nature and the mangroves.
Thank you, Miyuki, for teaching us kindly and sending us so many photos.
Even though it was our first meeting, we somehow connected right away and had a very enjoyable time together.

去年西表島ではじめてSUPしましたが、石垣島では初トライです。
素敵な笑顔のガイドみゆきちゃんのコースチョイス？！が良いのか、マングローブのトンネルをしゃがんだ体制でくぐったり、鍾乳洞のような場所へ案内してくれたり、ときに寝そべらないと通過できないような場所があったりｗ
もちろん石垣の自然、マングローブの説明もちゃんとしてくれます
みゆきちゃん、優しく教えてくれて、それとたくさんの写真送ってくれてありがとう
はじめて会ったのに、なぜかすぐに打ち解けて、とても楽しいひとときを過ごすことができました。

We participated as a family of five! The weather was unfortunately drizzly, but it actually made the mangrove greenery look beautiful and very soothing. Plus, I had a bad sunburn from the previous day's water activities, so the cool weather felt nice.

Two out of the five of us were trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time, but thanks to our guide, Miyuki, who was very supportive, we quickly got the hang of it. My youngest son (13) was eagerly waiting for someone to lose their balance and fall off the SUP, and sure enough, my eldest daughter (20) spectacularly lost her balance!

She did a great job (^^). We all laughed and created wonderful memories together. (I also fell off twice when I first tried it on Iriomote Island.)

天気は生憎小雨だったのですが、かえってマングローブの緑が綺麗に見えて癒し感ばっちりでした。それと前日の海アクティビティで日焼けが酷かったので心地よかったｗ
ＳＵＰは5人中2人がはじめてでしたが、ガイドのみゆきさんの優しいフォローもあって、すぐに慣れて乗れるようになりました
一番下の息子（13）は、誰かSUPからバランス崩して落ちないか、ずっと期待していましたが、長女（20）が、見事にバランス崩してwww
とても良い仕事をしてくれました(^^
みんなで笑ってとても良い思い出になりました。
（そういう私も西表島で初めてやった時に、2回落ちました。）

I had a great time seeing a lot of coconut crabs! Teru, the staff member, explained everything clearly, and I really enjoyed it! It's a shame we couldn't see the stars. I want to try again!

It was the most fun experience in Miyako Island. The staff were also enjoyable and made it fun together. The sea in Miyako Island was beautiful and every spot was a scenic view, but the Pumpkin Cave might have been the best. There were moments when we jumped from the rocks, and it felt great.

I want to repeat this when I go to Miyako Island again.

Canoeing was more tiring than I expected. It takes a lot of energy. However, since I moved my body well, lunch afterward was delicious.

宮古島で一番楽しい体験でした。
スタッフの皆さんも楽しく一緒になって楽しめました。
宮古島の海は綺麗でどこも絶景だったけど、パンプキン鍾乳洞が一番だったかもしれません。岩場から飛び込む場面もあり気持ちよかったです。

また宮古島に行った時にリピートしたいと思います。

カヌーが思ったより疲れました。体力使います。
ただ、しっかり体を動かしたので、その後のお昼ご飯が美味しくなりました。

I participated in mid-March when it was around 25 degrees. It seemed to be a busy day with about a dozen participants.

They provide water shoes, so you’ll be fine. You can wear a wetsuit if you wish. We wore long-sleeved rash guards and participated without a wetsuit. The river water was a bit cold, but it was fun overall, so I recommend going without one. Some participants wore shorts and short sleeves, but they also joined without wetsuits. (I think those who are sensitive to cold should wear one.)

It was my first experience with canyoning, and it was not just about going down the river; there were various attractions that made it thrilling and exciting! Definitely give it a try!

Even with a large group, the guide kept things moving at a good pace, and we had a lot of fun. They also added some acrobatic excitement that got everyone cheering! Our guide, Teru, was truly amazing!

★Recommended Points★
- The tour guide kindly teaches you how to safely enjoy thrilling canyoning. (Guide Teru was the best! Thank you!)
- The guide takes lots of photos and sends them to you later via LINE for free.
- You might get to see the wild cat of Iriomote.

★Recommended Attire (from a female perspective)★
- I think long sleeves and long pants are best. (Since you’ll be doing various activities, exposed skin could get scratches without you realizing it.)
- Since you’ll be wearing a helmet, it’s better to tie your hair back.
- It’s advisable to apply sunscreen. (The UV rays are five times stronger than on the main island.)
- I think men should also have long-sleeved rash guards.

During the travel to the site, guide Teru shared interesting stories about Iriomote Island's circumstances, plants, and animals, making the trip very enjoyable.

I had so much fun that I will definitely participate again when I come to Iriomote Island! Highly recommended!

25度くらいの3月中旬に参加しました。この日は多かったようで十数名の参加でした。

靴はウォーターシューズを貸してくれますので大丈夫です。ウエットスーツは希望に応じて着ることができます。私達は上下長袖のラッシュガードをつけて、ウエットスーツはなしで参加しました。川の水は少し冷たかったですが、それも含めて楽しかったので、なしがおすすめです。
周りの参加者は半ズボンの水着や半袖の方もいましたが、ウエットスーツはなしで参加されてました。(冷たいのが苦手な方は着たほうが良いとは思います)


キャニオニング初体験だったのですが、ただ川を下るだけでなくて、いろんなアトラクション？があって、スリリングでテンションが上がりました！是非体験してください！

人数が多くても、ガイドの方がテンポよく進めてくれるので、とても楽しめました。歓声があがるようなアクロバティックな盛り上げもしてくれました！ガイドのテルさん本当に最高でした！

・日焼け止めは塗った方が良いです。(紫外線が本島の5倍)
・男性も、上下長袖のラッシュガードがあったほうが良いかとは思います。


現場に到着するまでの移動中も、ガイドのテルさんが西表島の事情や植物、動物の話をしてくださり、とても楽しく過ごせました。

It was thunder and heavy rain until the morning of the day, but they were monitoring the sea conditions right up until the last moment to make a decision, and just in time, the rain stopped, allowing us to participate in the tour safely! Even with the cloudy sky, the underwater scenery was beautiful, and we were able to swim with many fish and sea turtles, which was an amazing experience!

After snorkeling, we moved by car close to the Pumpkin Cave, so it's necessary to have plastic covers or bath towels to keep the car dry! Canoeing and exploring the Pumpkin Cave can be quite physically demanding, so a schedule that allows for some relaxation afterward might be a good idea. The guide also took many photos and shared interesting facts, making it a fun time!

当日の朝まで雷と大雨でしたが、直前まで海の様子をみて決行を判断しているとのことで、ギリギリで雨も止み、無事にツアーに参加することができました！

シュノーケリングが終わった後は車でパンプキン鍾乳洞の近くまで移動となるので、車が濡れないようビニールやバスタオルは必要です！
カヌーやパンプキン鍾乳洞の探索は割と体力を使うので、体験後はゆっくりできるスケジュールが良いかもしれません。
ガイドさんも沢山写真をとってくれたり、豆知識を教えてくれて楽しい時間でした！

I participated in the Pumpkin Cave and sea turtle snorkeling tour. The sea was very beautiful! As someone who isn't a strong swimmer, I was a bit scared, but the guide was very kind, and my family was able to enjoy it. I was very satisfied to swim with the colorful fish and sea turtles. The Pumpkin Cave we visited afterward was very mystical.

The guide took many photos for us, which was a wonderful service for our family since we didn't bring a camera. However, it was a bit awkward to leave covered in sand after the tour.

　ただ、ツアー終了後、砂だらけの状態で帰るのが微妙でした。

Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy stargazing due to the cloudy weather, but the night walk was pleasant, and we had a great time excitedly observing various creatures and plants. The coconut crabs we saw at night were mystical! I think this tour is enjoyable for small children as well.

あいにくの曇りで星空鑑賞はできませんでしたが、（ガイドさんからキャンセルや延期の提案もしてくださいました)夜の散策は気持ちがよく、色んな生き物や植物がいてワクワクしながら楽しい時間を過ごせました。夜見るヤシガニは神秘的でした！小さなお子さんも楽しめるツアーだと思います。

My child was a bit scared on their first canoe trip, but once we started, they got completely absorbed and paddled off on their own! I left my smartphone in the car to avoid dropping it in the sea, but the guide took plenty of photos, so we have great memories! The kids were impressed by the handsome guide! This time we went canoeing as a family, but next time I definitely want to try stand-up paddleboarding! It was a half-day tour this time, but I slightly regret not choosing the full-day plan.

子供は初めてのカヌーで、少し怖がっていましたが、始まるとなんのその、夢中で勝手に行ってしまいました！スマホは海に落とすと大変なので、車に置いておきましたが、ガイドさんがたくさん写真を撮ってくれたので、思いでもバッチリです！子供たちはイケメンガイドさんや！って感動してました！今回は家族でカヌーでしたが、次は是非サップに挑戦したいです！今回は半日のツアでしたが、一日プランでもよかったなぁと少し後悔しています。

Today, I had my first kayaking experience with a fun guide! The location was perfect with shallow waters. The explanations were easy to understand, and even though there were many other participants, the guide was attentive to everyone. Time flew by, and it seemed like the kids wanted to do it a little longer! It's a safe and enjoyable activity even for small children!

今日は楽しいガイドさんに連れられてカヤック初挑戦！
遠浅で最高のロケーションでした。
説明もわかりやすく、他の参加者もたくさんいらっしゃいましたが、全員に気配りしてくれるガイドさんでした。
時間が過ぎるのが早くて、子供たちももう少しやりたかったみたいです！
小さい子供さんでも安心して楽しめます！

This tour can only be held once a day because you cannot enter the cave during high tide. Since it was spring break, the cave was full of people who had signed up for the tour. We paddled the kayak for about 10 minutes to reach the cave. On the day I signed up, the waves were high, so I was careful to avoid capsizing the kayak.

The entrance is in a location that touches the sea, so I think you can only access it through a guided tour. Each pair is given a flashlight, but there are dark areas inside, and since you climb over stalactites, you need to be careful not to fall. The guide shared several points of caution, particularly advising us to be careful not to step on the Cape Pearl.

It seems that mud packs made from stalactites used to be allowed, but they have recently been banned. I was looking forward to having smooth skin, so I was a bit disappointed...

There were also small children on the tour, but the guide supported them, and they did their best.

I believe I had a very valuable experience.

このツアーは満潮では洞窟内に入れないので、
1日1回しか開催されないそうです。
春休みという事もあり、洞窟内はツアーを申し込みされた方でいっぱいでした。
10分くらいカヤックを漕いで洞窟に向かいます。
申し込んだ日は波が高かったので、カヤックが転覆しないようにだけ注意をしました。
入口が海につかるような場所なので、ガイドツアーじゃないと行けない場所だと思います。

2人に1つ懐中電灯を渡されますが、中は暗い箇所もあり、鍾乳石を登って行くので転倒には注意が必要です。
ガイドさんから、いくつか注意点を聞き、
特に気をつけないといけないのが、ケープパールを踏まないよう気をつけないといけない事です。

以前は、鍾乳石の泥パックができたみたいですが、
最近、禁止になったそうです。
お肌がツルツルになるのを楽しみにしていたので、少し残念でした…

ツアーには小さい子供さんもいましたが、ガイドさんがサポートし、頑張っていました。

とても貴重な体験をさせていただいたと思います。

I participated in a tour of the Pumpkin Cave and sea turtle snorkeling.

We gathered at 8:30 AM and headed to Shigira Beach. Right at the start of the tour, we encountered a sea turtle. The tour description on Veltra didn’t mention that photos would be taken during the tour, but the guide took pictures of each group with the sea turtle, which made for a great memory. In addition to the sea turtles, we were guided to beautiful coral reefs and deeper areas, allowing us to observe various marine creatures.

After snorkeling for about an hour, we moved by car to Bora River Beach. We boarded a canoe to head to the Pumpkin Cave. Before entering the cave, there were many explanations and precautions about areas that should not be touched or stepped on, showing that the tour respects the feelings of the local people regarding nature conservation and the sacredness of the site. Inside the cave, there were some tricky spots, but the guide was quick to lend a hand, allowing us to explore safely. Additionally, they maintained distance from other tours while providing explanations and taking photos, making it a memorable trip.

パンプキン鍾乳洞とウミガメシュノーケルのツアーに参加しました。

朝８時半集合でシギラビーチへ。
ツアーを始めてすぐ、ウミガメと遭遇。ベルトラのツアー説明には、ツアー中の写真を撮ってもらえるとの記載がなかったのですが、ガイドの方が参加一組ずつウミガメと写真撮影してくださったのでよい記念になりました。また、ウミガメだけでなく、サンゴ礁が綺麗なところや、深いところにも順に案内してくださり、色んな海の生き物を観察することが出来ました。

1時間くらいシュノーケルした後は、車移動をして、保良川ビーチへ。カヌーに乗ってパンプキン鍾乳洞に向かいます。パンプキン鍾乳洞に入る前には触ったり踏んだりしてはいけない場所の説明や注意事項がたくさんあり、自然保護や聖地としている地元の方の気持ちを大切にしながらツアーを催行していることが窺えました。鍾乳洞の中では足場が悪いところもありましたが、ガイドの方がすかさず手を差し伸べてくださり、安心して見学出来ました。また、他のツアーと距離をあけながら、説明や写真撮影をしていただき、心に残る旅行になりました。

What I communicated as changes in advance was not reflected until the day of the event. Even on the day, when I sought assistance at the airport, my requests were not considered, and it felt like I had to accommodate the staff's convenience rather than receiving service myself. Specifically, there was a misunderstanding regarding the size of the rental items, and the taxi driver was not informed about the drop-off point for the return trip, which resulted in a detour. I was also instructed to return the rental items to the hotel front desk, but when I followed those instructions, I was told that they hadn't been informed about it. I felt that communication was not effective.

On the other hand, the guides for the activities and the taxi drivers were very considerate and provided excellent service.

事前に変更として伝えたことが、当日まで反映されておらず、当日、空港で対応時も、こちらの要望もきいてもらえず、何かと空港での対応スタッフの都合に合わせる形になり、どちらがサービスを受ける側なのか疑問に思った。具体的には、レンタルアイテムのサイズも行き違いあり、帰路の下車ポイントもタクシーの運転手さんに伝わっておらず遠回りになってしまい、レンタル品の返却も滞在ホテルのフロントへ持って行くように指示されたので言われたとおり持っていくと聞いてないといわれ、いろいろ伝達がうまく行っていないと感じた。
一方、アクテビティ本体のガイドさんやタクシーの運転手さんは、細かいところまで配慮のある方で、対応がとても気持ちよかったです。

This time, we came to see the Jomon Sugi, which my son has been hoping to visit as a celebration for his high school entrance. I had planned a two-day, one-night trip due to my tendency to experience pain around my hip joints, but the weather was bad the next day, and the shuttle bus was not running, so we decided to change our tour plans. We switched to a Jomon Sugi trekking tour.

Honestly, I wasn't confident about walking 22 km in one day, but I thought I would challenge myself for my son’s sake. I spoke with our guide, Mr. Muramatsu, about my condition when he contacted me, and we met the next morning. Before starting, we had a detailed discussion, and since I wanted to return safely, I took painkillers and applied pain relief cream before we began.

He was always concerned about my pain, and his encouraging words, "We're making good progress ahead of schedule," were much more uplifting than just saying "Do your best."

He taught us the names of plants, edible leaves, and mountain names. I couldn't remember them, though. Sorry (laughs).

After the trolley path, the real trek began. He taught us how to walk on the mountain from this point onward, which made sense.

I was surprised by the wide-ranging conversations I had with my son about history, economics, games, and computers. It was heartwarming to see us enjoying our conversation.

He explained the differences between Jomon Sugi, Yakusugi, and the cedar used in reforestation, which I thought I understood but really didn’t.

He mentioned he had been in this area for two years, but I didn’t feel that at all.

When we arrived at Jomon Sugi, it felt like all the fatigue from the previous 11 km just melted away. Could this be the power of a 7,200-year-old tree? ✨ On the way back, I felt a sense of unity among the three of us for some reason.

Even a day after descending, I couldn't believe there was no pain around my hip joints. My leg muscles were sore, and my son and I exchanged glances, laughing and saying "Ouch!" while enjoying the muscle pain. Could this all be the power of Jomon Sugi?

Next, I would like to participate in a different course with my mother. Mr. Muramatsu, I look forward to working with you again!

今回、高校入学祝いに息子の希望でもある縄文杉を見に来ました。
　私は股関節周辺に痛みが出やすい事から一泊二日の予定でしたが、翌日は天候が悪くシャトルバスの運休の為ツア内容の変更を決めました。
ツア内容は縄文杉トレッキングに変更です。
正直、一日で22kmを歩く自信はありませんでしたが、息子の為にもチャレンジしてみてようと思いました。
　ガイドの村松さんから連絡の時に私の症状を話し明朝にお会いしました。
スタート前に細かな打ち合わせをし、何とか無事
帰って来たかったので、痛み止め飲んで、痛み止めのクリームを塗ってスタートしました。

常に痛みの心配をいつもしてくださり、「予定よりも順調に進んでますよ」と嬉しい言葉。
頑張ってください。より、断然良い嬉しい言葉でした。

植物の名前や食べられる葉、山の名前を教えてくれました。覚えられないけど。ごめんなさい(笑笑)

トロッコ道の後から本番です。
ここから先の山歩き歩き方を教えてもらいました。納得です。

息子と歴史や経済、ゲームやパソコンなど幅広い会話に驚きました。
楽しく会話が弾んでいる様子で嬉しかったです。

分かっているようで分からなかった縄文杉と屋久杉、植林としての杉の違いを話してくれました。

この土地に来て2年と言っていましたが、そんな事微塵も感じませんでした。

縄文杉に到着すると、今までの11kmが嘘のようにスーッと力が抜けてカラダの疲れが吹っ飛んだような感じでした。これも樹齢7200年のパワーでしょうか✨
帰り道は何故か3人に一体感が生まれたように思えました。

下山し一日経っても股関節周辺の痛みはなく、信じられません。足の筋肉痛は息子と顔を見合わせて痛たたた〜と笑いながら筋肉痛を楽しんでいます。これも、全て縄文杉のパワーかしら。


次は母と別のコースに参加したいと思いました。

Overall, it was a journey that healed my heart with beautiful scenery and a pleasant breeze. When I previously visited Kabira Bay, I dreamed of doing SUP there someday, and I finally fulfilled that wish. While the shallow areas made me think, "Isn't this more like just standing than SUP?", the sensation of standing on the clear, beautiful water surface was unforgettable.

I wanted to go to the Blue Cave, but due to high waves the day before, we couldn't go and instead went snorkeling at Okasaki Beach. It was thrilling to see tropical fish, familiar from aquariums, right in front of me! Plus, the excitement of swimming through the corals was incredible! Time flew by in an instant.

All the staff were kind, taught well, and even took wonderful photos for us, which I truly appreciated. However, an unexpected issue was that while lunch was supposed to be in Kabira when I made the reservation, it actually turned out to be at the island terminal. We had to travel for 30 minutes and then wander around the bustling area for over an hour in wet clothes. After lunch, we regrouped and had to travel another 30 minutes back to Okasaki Beach, which was tough. It was disappointing that it took an hour instead of the less than 20 minutes it would have taken to go directly from Kabira to Okasaki, and that we couldn't have lunch in Kabira (since I had researched it a lot).

I thought it might be better to request separate days for these activities next time.

総じて、美しい景色と心地よい風に心を癒される旅となりました。
以前に川平湾へ来た時に、いつかは川平湾でsupをしたいと夢見て、そしてついに念願がかないました。浅いところは、「supじゃなくてよくね？」という感じもしないでもないですが、透明な美しい水面に立つ快感は忘れがたいものでした。
青の洞窟に行きたかったのですが、前日に波が高くて行けないとなり、大崎ビーチでシュノーケリングをしました。水族館でおなじみの熱帯魚がすぐ目の前にいる感動！しかも、珊瑚の間をすり抜けるように泳ぐスリル！　あっという間に時間が終わりました。
スタッフはみなさん親切で、教え方も上手、しかもステキな写真も撮っていただき、本当にありがたかったです。
ただ予定外だったのが、予約時は川平で昼食となっていたのが、実際は離島ターミナルとなり、30分かけて移動して、ぬれた格好のまま1時間以上、繁華街をうろつくことになったことです。昼食後に再集合し、また30分かけて大崎ビーチに移動するのは、きつかったです。川平から大崎までは直接行けば20分もかからないのに、実際は1時間もかかってしまったことや、川平でランチできなかったことが残念でした（あれこれ調べていたので…。）
次回からは、別々に、別日に頼めばよいのかな思いました。

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the cloudy weather, but I had a very fulfilling time. There was a change in the event location due to the wind, but thanks to that, I was able to easily stand on the board even as a beginner. Thank you very much. Also, the staff member was very friendly and shared many interesting stories during the SUP session, which made it a lot of fun. They took many photos, creating wonderful memories.

あいにくの曇りでサンセットは見ることは出来なかったけれど、とても充実した時間を過ごすことが出来ました。
風の影響で開催場所の変更もありましたが、そのおかげで初めてでも簡単にボードに立つことが出来ました。

The clear kayak and SUP were so much fun! They even filmed us with a GoPro and drone, and at the end, they gifted us the video!! The staff were all very kind and supportive, and even though I was a beginner with both the clear kayak and SUP, I made the best memories☆☆ I definitely want to come back to Miyako Island and experience this again! Thank you so much!

In March, the weather was cloudy and a bit cold, which made me anxious about getting into the water, but during the snorkeling experience, once I entered the sea and looked underwater, I was amazed to see so many beautiful and cute fish swimming around. I stopped feeling the coldness of the water and enjoyed the snorkeling experience to the fullest! Additionally, I was thrilled to see a sea turtle swimming up close and even took pictures together at a very close distance. The Pumpkin Cave was much larger than I had imagined, and as I ventured deeper into the cave, it felt like an exciting exploration. It was a mystical space, and I felt that there couldn't be another cave that was as moving as this one. The canoeing experience was also enjoyable, as I could paddle comfortably at just the right distance. I'm really glad I had the best experience on this tour!

3月で、天気も曇りで少し寒くて海の中に入るのが冷たそうで不安だったのですが、シュノーケリング体験で海に入って、海の中を覗くと綺麗な魚や可愛い魚がたくさん泳いでいるのが見れて感動して、水の冷たさを感じなくなってその後のシュノーケリング体験も最高に楽しめました！また、ウミガメが泳いでいるのを間近で見ることができて、至近距離で一緒に写真も撮れてとても嬉しかったです。パンプキン鍾乳洞は、私が思っていたよりも数倍洞窟の中が広くて、だんだん洞窟の奥に入っていくのが探検しているみたいでワクワクしました。神秘的な空間で、ここまで感動する洞窟は他にはないだろう、と感じました。カヌー体験も、ちょうどいい距離で気持ちよく漕ぐことができて楽しかったです。このツアーで最高の体験をできて本当によかったです！

On a clear day, my family participated in a snorkeling tour in Miyako Island for the first time! Despite changing the planned spot, we were able to encounter a sea turtle, which was very moving. The Pumpkin Cave also offered views that were more wonderful than I had imagined! The guide, Mr. Kuma, was very friendly and entertaining, and he shared a lot of interesting information about the sea and the caves, which made the tour several times more enjoyable. It was also a lot of fun when we paired up to paddle the canoe. Thank you very much!

快晴の中、宮古島では初めてシュノーケルツアーに家族で参加しました！
予定していたスポットを変更したにも関わらずウミガメに遭遇することが出来、とても感動しました^^
またパンプキン鍾乳洞も想像以上に素晴らしい景色を見ることが出来ました！

This time, we participated in a family trip with eight people from three households. I was a bit worried about the shuttle bus since it looked a little old, but once we joined, canoeing, trekking, and playing in the river by the waterfall were absolutely fantastic! 今回、3世帯の8人で家族旅行で参加しました。
送迎のバスは少し年季が入っていて、大丈夫かなと思っていましたが、参加してみるとカヌー、トレッキング、滝を見ての川遊びは最高に楽しかったです！

Due to bad weather the day before, we were informed in advance that we couldn't go to the Blue Cave. After a 5-minute briefing on paddling techniques, we entered the river right away, and even as beginners, we were able to make good progress! Because of the rain the previous day, the water level was high, allowing us to see mystical scenery on a route that is usually not accessible.

For snorkeling, we entered the sea from a point near the terminal by walking in from the shore. Here, we learned how to use the equipment and some precautions in the shallow water. Both activities included explanations about the surrounding flora and fauna, and they also recommended a great lunch, making for a fulfilling experience. Additionally, since we couldn't carry our smartphones or cameras, we were grateful to receive many photos.

前日から天候が悪かったため事前に青の洞窟には行けないことを伝えられていました。
5分漕ぎ方等のレクチャーを受けた後、すぐに川に入りましたが初心者でもちゃんと進むことが出来ました！前日の雨で増水していたため、普段は通れないコースで神秘的な景色を見ることが出来て良かったです。
シュノーケリングはターミナル近くのポイントからで陸から歩いて海に入りました。こちらは浅瀬で道具の使い方や注意点を教わりました。
どちらも周囲の動植物の説明があり、それだけではなくおすすめのランチも教えていただけたので、充実した時間を過ごせました。またスマホやカメラを携帯することが出来なかったので写真を沢山いただけてありがたかったです。
