The weather forecast was uncertain, and I had been informed by phone that there might be a location change and that I might not see any sea turtles, so I went without much expectation. However, on the day of the event, I was guided by Yamachan, who is knowledgeable about sea turtles, and I was able to see them and take great photos! I also learned various interesting facts about sea turtles and got to see clownfish, which made me very satisfied! They checked on my health regularly, which made me feel at ease during the experience. I hope to participate again on a sunny day next time!
天気予報が微妙で、電話で事前に場所変更ともしかしたらウミガメ会えないかもとご連絡いただいていたのであまり期待せずに行ったのですが、当日ウミガメに詳しいやまちゃんにガイドしていただき、ちゃんとウミガメに会うことができ、しっかり写真も撮っていただけました！色々なウミガメに関する豆知識を聞いたりクマノミも見れて満足でした！都度体調悪くないか確認もしていただき安心して参加できました。次回は晴天の日に参加したいなと思います！

The sunset was incredibly beautiful, absolutely the best! Our guide, Hina, was amazing too!! It was my first time canoeing and I participated alone, but I was able to enjoy canoeing with peace of mind thanks to Hina's careful support and thoughtfulness.
Paddling through the calm river, I felt relaxed yet put in a lot of effort while canoeing. The sunset over the mangroves at Ishigaki was a breathtaking view that can only be seen here.
I really wanted to experience the mangrove canoeing, so I made a last-minute reservation for a ride and joined in the afternoon. During the ride, Hina shared a lot of information about Ishigaki, and I was able to chat and exchange information with the other participants.
It was so much fun! I'm really glad I could participate!

初めてのカヌー&1人参加でしたが、安心してカヌーを楽しめました〜。ヒナさんの丁寧なフォローと心配りに感謝、、です。
穏やかな川の流れのなかを、気分はゆったりでもけっこう一生懸命カヌーを漕いで笑、たどり着いた石垣の夕やけonマングローブはここでしか見ることのできない絶景です。

Due to the weather, the snorkeling in the afternoon was moved to another beach. Safety first! It was a fantastic experience. We gathered at 1:30 PM at the red mailbox in the terminal. The guides from Adventure Pipi are all young, energetic, and speak English very well. I really liked it!

The quality of the drone footage is amazing, and even now that the trip is over, I keep replaying it multiple times! I can take as many photos from my perspective as I want, but having someone capture the places I enjoyed from an aerial view is the best souvenir of all. The feeling of happiness being in such beautiful scenery, underwater, is incredible. The guides and staff were all very kind, and since it was just my daughter and me traveling together, we were able to create the best memories thanks to them. Thank you very much.

This time, I finally hiked to Jomon Sugi. I was a bit worried about my physical stamina, but the weather was favorable in the first half, and I was able to complete the hike safely. I think it's a great challenge to try at least once in a lifetime!

I didn't rent a car, so it was great that they provided transportation to near the hotel where I was staying, and the facilities at the store and on the boat were very well-equipped. Although it was unfortunately cloudy, the water temperature was just right, and the sea was clear, allowing us to encounter turtles, which was truly moving! The staff who accompanied us were also very kind, and their consideration was wonderful. I will definitely rely on you again when I visit Okinawa.

It was my first time in Kamikochi, and it truly lived up to its reputation as a famous scenic spot in Japan. Thank you to both the driver and the guide for their hard work. They were very skilled, which made me feel at ease during the trip. I definitely want to use their services again. There were mostly foreign tourists, but thanks to the guide's instructions, it was a good trip where everyone followed the rules. In fact, it was the Japanese tourists who caused some issues.

We participated on the first day of Golden Week with our family of three! We gathered at 8 AM to start. After signing the consent form in the parking lot, we were given marine shoes and life jackets, and then we received an explanation before heading down to the beach.
It was our first experience with SUP, and I was a bit worried about whether we would enjoy it since we had a child with us, but the guide was incredibly kind, and I felt completely at ease without any tension! Even my 8-year-old child, who isn't very athletic, was able to stay on the board without falling off even once. My first snorkeling experience was amazing. The sky was clear, and it was such a HAPPY experience that it blew away the fatigue from the Jomon Sugi trekking the day before. I had a great experience with the sea turtle snorkeling! My guide was Yama-chan! He is a very cheerful and wonderful person! He provided detailed instructions and has a wealth of knowledge about sea turtles! Most importantly, he supports us to enjoy the experience! I've seen various instructors before, but I think he has a strong professional attitude! I especially recommend it for first-timers, as they can enjoy it with peace of mind!
There aren't many places where you can swim with sea turtles from the beach, so if you want to see sea turtles, this is a great option! However, if your main interest is in seeing coral and tropical fish, it might be a bit sandy. Initially, I was a bit anxious because there were strong winds and rain like a typhoon from early morning on the day of my participation, but I was able to join the snorkeling, which is less affected by the weather. In April, Okinawa has already opened its beaches, but due to the weather, it was cold before and after entering the sea. However, since they lent me a wetsuit, it wasn't too bad while I was in the water! The snorkeling took place at Shigira Beach, where the water was shallow and the waves were calm. It was my first time snorkeling, and since it had been a while since I last went to the sea, I struggled at first to get the hang of breathing (to be honest, I thought about giving up), but within a few minutes, I was able to enjoy looking around underwater. I was also wearing a life jacket, so I felt safe as long as I didn't thrash around too much. It was my first time visiting Miyako Island and Okinawa, and I was surprised to see corals and colorful fish even close to the shore. Thanks to the guide, I was very happy to encounter a sea turtle and a clownfish! The guide taught us about Okinawan fish (the Oya-biccha left a strong impression) and adjusted the pace for each person, which made my first snorkeling experience enjoyable and reassuring. We also took commemorative photos before entering the water, and they captured moments of us swimming and with the sea turtle. However, since I had to wear a life jacket and stay on the surface, it seems quite difficult to get the best shot with the sea turtle on the seabed unless you're really lucky!
As for the SUP, I was able to switch to an early morning slot the next day. The location was at Ingyamarine Garden, a bit further east from the previous day, in a calm bay. Meeting at 6 AM was quite challenging, but it was refreshing to slowly paddle along the quiet sea while watching the sunrise. I don't usually have a habit of exercising, but it was an activity that even beginners could enjoy enough to stand and paddle. We also took a lot of photos.
当初の参加日は明け方から台風みたいな強風と雨だったので少し不安でしたが、その日は天候に左右されにくいシュノーケリングだけ参加させてもらいました。4月の沖縄は既に海開きしていますが、天候が天候なので海に入る前と後は寒かったです。ただウェットスーツをお貸しいただけたので海に入っている間はそうでもなかったです！シュノーケリングはシギラビーチで行いました。遠浅の海で波も穏やかでした。シュノーケリングは初めてで、久々の海ということもあり、最初は呼吸のコツを掴むのに苦戦しましたが（正直リタイアしようかと思いました）、数分もすれば海の中を眺めるのを楽しめるようになりました。ライフジャケットも着ていたので、よほど暴れない限り溺れることもなく安心だったと思います。宮古島はおろか沖縄に来たのも初めてでしたが、陸に近いところでもサンゴや色鮮やかな魚が見られて驚きでした。ガイドの方が見つけてくれたおかげで、ウミガメとクマノミにも会えてとても嬉しかったです！ガイドの方は沖縄の魚（オヤビッチャというのが印象に残りました）について教えてくれたり、一人一人のペースを見ながら進行してくださったので、初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが安心して楽しめました。写真も海に入る前に記念撮影をし、泳いでいるところ、ウミガメと一緒のところも撮ってもらいました。ただどうしてもライフジャケットを着て水面にいるので、海底にいるウミガメとベストショットを撮るのはよほど運が良くないと難しそうです…！
SUPの方は翌日早朝の枠が空いているということでそちらに移らせてもらいました。場所は前日からもう少し東に行ったインギャーマリンガーデンで、入り江になっている穏やかな海でした。朝6時集合でなかなか大変でしたが…日の出を見ながら静かな海をゆっくり進んでいくのは爽やかな気持ちでした。普段運動の習慣はありませんが、それでも立って漕げるくらいには初心者でも楽しめるアクティビティでした。写真もいっぱい撮ってもらいました。

This was my first trip to Yakushima.
First of all, I appreciated the reminder phone calls three days before and the day before the trip, which gave me a sense of reassurance. (I thought it would be even better if email communication was also an option since I was at work.)
On the day of the trip, I had some anxiety because it was early in the morning, but the transportation was on time and comfortable. The tour itself was conducted in small groups of about seven people, which made it very pleasant.
Especially since the pace was well thought out, I believe that having a guide is essential for beginners. It was a highly satisfying tour that I would definitely recommend.
屋久島自体が初上陸の旅でした。
まず、行く3日前と前日にリマインドのお電話があり安心感がありました。（仕事中だったのでメールでの対応も可能だと、よりありがたいなと思いました）
当日は早朝だったので不安もありましたが、時間通りの送迎で快適でした。ツアー自体も個々の7人程度の小グループ行動だったのでとても過ごしやすかったです。
とくにペース配分をしっかり考えてくださったので、初心者の方はガイドさん必須だと思います。大満足のお勧めできるツアーでした。

I saw such a beautiful starry sky for the first time, and I was truly moved. We also got to see many coconut crabs and other creatures, which had my son very excited! While it's not guaranteed that you'll encounter coconut crabs, the guides worked hard to find them, and we were lucky to meet a few. 😂

This was my second visit to Miyako Island, following last year. This time, I participated in a sea turtle snorkeling tour. The instructor, "Yama-chan," was a wonderful young man with a lovely smile. He was great at communicating and, most importantly, incredibly knowledgeable about sea turtles, answering any questions we had. I joined a family with a young couple and their little daughter, and Yama-chan made sure everyone could enjoy the experience, keeping an eye on the daughter so the couple could have fun too.
As for me, I joined the tour with almost no swimming experience, and at first, I couldn't breathe at all. I thought it might be impossible to swim with the sea turtles… I felt a bit discouraged. However, following Yama-chan's advice, I managed to breathe and even got to take a commemorative photo with the sea turtles I had longed to see. 去年に続き2度目の宮古島。今年はウミガメシュノーケルツアーに参加しました。
インストラクターの「やまちゃん」は笑顔が素敵な好青年。話も上手で、何よりウミガメについて凄く詳しく、何を聞いても答えてくれました。若いご夫婦と小さなお嬢さんのご家族とご一緒しましたが、お嬢さんはやまちゃんが見ているのでご夫婦もしっかり楽しんでくださいと、家族全員が楽しめるよう気配りもしていました。
私はと言えば、泳いだ経験がほぼない無謀な参加で、最初は全く呼吸ができず、ウミガメと泳ぐなんて無理だったのかもしれない…と落ち込みましたが、やまちゃんのアドバイスどおりやってみると、いつの間にか呼吸もできるようになり、念願のウミガメさんとの記念撮影もできました。こんなにウミガメさんを近くで見られるなんて驚きと感動でした。宮古島の澄んだ綺麗な海と可愛いウミガメに逢えて本当に素敵で楽しいツアーでした。
こんなに楽しい１日を過ごせたのは、一番はやまちゃんの素晴らしいガイドのおかげです。やまちゃん、本当にありがとう♪素敵な思い出ができました。

The guide came to our accommodation on the day of the tour and took us to the site. This time, there were only two of us, my friend and me.
She was a friendly woman who introduced us to various trees and plants, including cedar, as well as birds, insects, and stones. I learned that the content of the tour varies depending on the guide, but I found it all very interesting.
She made sure to take breaks frequently, so we were able to keep up without getting exhausted. She also chatted easily with other tourists and guides we passed by, which created a great atmosphere, even though I only managed to greet them.
Additionally, I was able to ask her not only about Shiratani Unsuikyo but also about Yakushima as a whole, which was very fascinating.
As a recommendation, if you remember some places you want to check out after exploring Yakushima the day before the tour, you can ask the guide about those spots and hear interesting stories like "Actually..."
Overall, I had a very enjoyable time, and I felt a sense of lightness even during work hours. I believe it’s the power of Yakushima, with its nature and people!
ガイドさんが当日宿まで来てくださり、現場まで連れていってくれました。今回のツアーでは私と友人の2人のみでした。
気さくな女性の方で、主に杉をはじめとした木々や植物、鳥、虫、石のことなどを紹介していただきました。ガイドさんによって話す内容は異なるそうですが、私はとても興味深く聞くことができました。
こまめに休憩を挟んでくださるので、こちらも疲れ果てることなく着いて行くことができました。すれ違う他の観光客の方や他のガイドさんとも気さくにお話をされていて、私もつられて挨拶をするだけではありましたがとても雰囲気が良かったと感じました。
また、ガイドさんとは白谷雲水峡のことだけでなく屋久島全体のことについても伺うことができたのでとても面白かったです。
おすすめとしては、ツアーに行く前日にある程度屋久島をまわって気になったところを覚えておくと、ガイドさんに気になったところを聞けたり「実は......」という話が聞けます。
総合的にとても楽しい時間を過ごせましたし、仕事をしている時間でもなんとなく気分が軽くなっている気がしました。自然や人といった、屋久島パワーだと思います！
I recommend sightseeing in Yakushima the day before and going to a hot spring after the tour!
前日に屋久島観光をしておくことと、ツアーが終わったら温泉に行くことをお勧めします！

The Pumpkin Cave was impressive. It was great to see the cave up close, and the guide's explanations were fun and interesting. During snorkeling, I saw three sea turtles and witnessed them surfacing for air for the first time. The day flew by, and it turned out to be a wonderful day. I would like to do this again.
