On the last day of my trip to Shirahama, I only had about three hours, so I requested a sightseeing taxi. It was the right decision since I had a small child, elderly people, and large luggage. I think I was able to spend the limited time meaningfully. During the ride, I received explanations about Shirahama and was taken to various famous spots. They also showed great consideration for my small child. I'm really glad I made the request.

Since I can't drive, I had only been around Naha until now, but I ventured out to the suburbs for the first time. As for advice on what to bring, since it can get crowded at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, it might be difficult to have lunch inside, so having some light snacks or a simple meal would be reassuring. I think we might dip our feet in the water at Kouri Island, so having a towel would be convenient too!

I was filled with anxiety during my first trekking experience, but I managed to walk all the way to the end. The guide's explanations were thorough and very easy to understand. The tips on how to walk and the estimates on how much longer we needed to push ourselves were clear, which helped me keep going until the end. I was a bit disappointed that I could only see Jomon Sugi from a distance, but I had a great time experiencing the unique activities that Yakushima has to offer.

Furano was a first-time experience for me. The timing might have been a bit late, as more than half of the lavender was wilted. However, the Hills of Shikisai and the Blue Pond were just as wonderful as I had hoped. The meal at the restaurant along the way was also very delicious. As for equipment, there were no issues as long as I brought what was indicated in the guide. I rented shoes, and they were comfortable enough for the long journey without causing blisters, so I think renting is sufficient for those who don't have their own. I enjoyed riding the water buffalo cart, feeling the sea breeze while listening to the stories from the guide and the sound of the sanshin, which made for a relaxing time.

On Taketomi Island, I rode a bicycle to enjoy the island's scenery and ended up getting caught up in searching for star sand.

The only downside was that at Yubu Island, during the typical tourist photo opportunity, we had to wait a long time in the intense sunlight with poor ventilation and no shade. I think photo sessions should be limited to those who want to take pictures. After lunch, we had less than 30 minutes for sightseeing, so I felt that the time spent waiting was a waste. It was disappointing to not have enough time to see the places I wanted to visit on the island.

ただ一つ残念だったのは、由布島で観光地に良くある記念撮影の時に強烈な日差しの中、風通しも悪く日陰もない中を長々と待たされた事です。写真撮影は撮りたい人だけにした方がいいと思います。昼食を食べた後、観光する時間が30分もなかったので、あの待たされた時間がもったいなかったと思いました。島を観て回りたくても時間がなく観たい所が見れずに終わってしまい残念でした。

I participated with my energetic 6-year-old and 4-year-old children. It was our first bus tour, and I was quite anxious about how they would handle the bus ride, but thanks to the bus guide and the other participants, we were able to complete it safely.

Kawapirabay, selected by the Michelin Guide, was a must-visit for me, so on the last day of our trip, the course that allowed us to visit major tourist spots in Ishigaki Island, including Kawapirabay, and drop us off at the airport was very convenient for our family.

There was a bus guide who provided clear explanations, making the experience more memorable than just sightseeing on our own. We also enjoyed the journey as they played the sanshin and sang along.

Not only did we visit Kawapirabay, but we also went to Tamatorizaki Observatory and a wild palm grove, places that are hard to reach individually, creating great memories to wrap up our trip.

Since meals were included, warm dishes were already prepared at the restaurant, allowing us to eat right away without wasting time. Although the sightseeing time at each location was short, it was a very hot summer day, so being able to listen to compact explanations and quickly move to the air-conditioned bus was truly helpful.

The outbound trip was on a small boat, while the return was on a large ship. After arriving at Taketomi Island, we took a bus to the center. After checking in, we waited about 15 minutes. When our name was called, we boarded the water buffalo cart. It was a slow and leisurely ride. Before we knew it, the tour was over. We rented bicycles and visited Nagomi Tower, Nishi Sazaki Bridge, and Kaiji Beach, and then it was time for the last ferry. We had a fulfilling half day from the 13:05 meeting until just past 17:00.

It was my first experience with a bus tour, but I was very satisfied as we were able to visit all the places I wanted to go.
The weather was nice, and the scenery was amazing.

I had high expectations for lunch at the Lakeside Hotel, but it was a bit cold, which was disappointing.

As an option, I really wanted to go to a hot spring, so I squeezed it in despite the time constraints.
It was a lovely hot spring, but I would have been happier with a bit more time.

Mount Fuji is so beautiful!!

If you are lucky, you are gonna see the most beautiful scenery including lakes, Flower farm with Mount Fuji at the backdrop. The grape farm was so nice experience with sweet grapes.
