While there are wonderful beaches on the island, during the 3-hour stay, we wasted 30 minutes on the water buffalo cart tour and spent unnecessary time on taking commemorative photos and buying pictures. It would have been enough just to take the round trip boat to Taketomi.

I was finally able to visit Shirakawa-go with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. We participated in this tour as one of the events during our trip to Kanazawa. The tour ran from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on the weekend, and we first had a hands-on experience making white shrimp rice crackers at "Sasara-ya" in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. Since my son has a shrimp allergy, they kindly provided him with kelp rice crackers instead, which was very helpful. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful consideration given to the souvenirs distributed on the bus.

Next, we headed to Shirakawa-go, starting with lunch. It was very fulfilling and delicious. I was very satisfied to have tried Hida beef and Hoba miso. I had assumed that Shirakawa-go would be covered in snow during this season and prepared accordingly, but unfortunately, there was no snow, which was quite disappointing. However, it may have actually been better for walking around. Among several houses, we toured the Wada House, a gassho-zukuri structure in a UNESCO World Heritage site in a heavy snowfall area. It was very interesting. That night, it started to snow, and it seems the next day was a snowy landscape. Before you go, I recommend checking the weather and live cameras on the Shirakawa-go Tourism Association's website. I believe taking a bus tour to Shirakawa-go was definitely the right choice. Thank you to our tour guide for a fun trip. Since there was no snow, I felt a bit disappointed and rated it four stars.

念願だった白川郷へ家族で行くことができ、とても良い体験ができました。金沢旅行の中のイベントの一つとして、このツアーに参加しました。9:30 〜15：30の土日のツアーで、まずは富山県南砺市の「ささら屋」でしろえび煎餅の手焼き体験をしました。息子はエビアレルギーのため、代わりに昆布のかきもちを出してくださり助かりました。また、バスの中で、配られたお土産も、きちんと配慮して下さり、お心遣いが嬉しかったです。
次は白川郷へ。まずは昼食。とても充実していて美味しかったです。飛騨牛、ほうば味噌も食べられ大満足でした。この時期の白川郷は雪景色と思い込み、身支度も重装備で臨みましたが、なんと雪がなく、とても残念でした。しかし、散策にはかえって良かったのかもしれません。何軒かある中で、和田家の中を見学しました。世界遺産の豪雪地帯の合掌造り。とても興味深かったです。この日の夜から雪になり、翌日は雪景色だったようです。行かれる前には白川郷観光協会のサイトで天気やライブカメラが見られますので、確認されて行くと良いと思います。白川郷へは、やはりバスツアーが大正解だったと思いました。添乗員さん、楽しい旅をありがとうございました。雪がなかったので、ちょっと残念で星4つとさせていただきました。

You couldn't cover this much with a rental car, but it was a fulfilling day packed with sightseeing! Both the driver and the guide were kind and attentive; I'm really glad I participated!

We had lunch at Kiyomizu-dera, but due to time constraints, we opted for a meal-free course and ate the bento we had bought at the station during the bus ride, allowing us more time for sightseeing.

For the bus-only course, we had to purchase the entrance fees ourselves, but it was straightforward and didn't take much time. Most souvenirs can be purchased at Kyoto Station, so if you're joining from there, I don't think it's necessary to buy them on-site. I anticipated the tight schedule, so I was generally satisfied. Also, if you're coming from Kyoto, you'll need to take a train to Fushimi Inari, so it's advisable to leave large luggage in a coin locker.

I left my travel bag in a locker to travel light, but I noticed some participants struggled with their suitcases. Since you walk a lot on the paths of shrines and temples, comfortable shoes like sneakers are best, especially in Arashiyama where there's a lot of walking. The long bus rides can cause your feet to swell, so wearing something a bit looser is just right.

It was busy, but I had fun visiting multiple places I wanted to see.

清水寺でランチタイムになるのですが時間がなくなるので食事なしコースにして予め駅で買っておいたお弁当をバスの移動中に食べて観光する時間にあてました。
バスのみコースは拝観料も自分で購入するのですが特に時間が取られることもなく買えました。お土産は殆ど京都駅で購入出来るので京都駅から参加される場合は現地で買う必要はないと思います。時間が厳しいのは予想していたので概ね満足しています。あと京都から参加される場合は伏見稲荷まで電車移動になるので大きな荷物はコインロッカーなどに預けた方がいいかと思います。
私は旅行バッグをロッカーに預けて身軽にして参加したのですが他の参加者さんでスーツケース持ったままで来られた方は大変そうでした。神社やお寺は参道を長く歩くのでスニーカーなど歩きやすい靴がベストです。特に嵐山は歩きます。バスなど乗り物に乗っている時間が長く足が浮腫むので少しゆるめで丁度良くなります。
忙しかったけど行きたかった場所に複数行けたので楽しかったです。

The guide was very good at sharing stories, and I had a lot of fun learning things I wouldn't have known if I had just rented a car. It was a shame it rained. I was quite disappointed, but when I went to Gokayama, I was greeted with beautiful snowy landscapes! It was truly moving. Thank you very much to our guide, Takeda-san. The stories about the Hokuriku region and the fun anecdotes were all very memorable. Thanks to the skillful coordination of the driver and Takeda-san, we were able to visit smoothly before many tourists arrived. The only downside was the lunch, which was a bit lacking! You mentioned it was your first time visiting, but aside from that, it was an excellent tour. Thank you very much. I had a great time.

At the Churaumi Aquarium, we had two hours of free time, but it took an hour to find another restaurant because the one we went to was crowded. I think it would be helpful to have a notice about bringing lunch.
The guide wasn't very talkative, and I wished they had shared more about Okinawa. Because of that, it seemed like most people were sleeping on the bus.
I thought the time allocation for the rest of the activities was good.

Most of the tour participants were foreigners, so the tour guide was very proficient in English. To ensure that we, the Japanese participants, didn't get bored, they included jokes and used Kyoto dialect during the Japanese explanations, making it a very enjoyable tour. It was unfortunately rainy, but the boat didn't sway as much as I expected. I don't think I could have navigated this efficiently on my own, so I'm glad I participated in the tour! The water buffalo cart was especially great!

I was torn between renting a car or taking a bus, but I chose the bus tour due to the cost and the convenience of not having to drive.

We booked a last minute Mount Fuji tour from Tokyo with Lake Kawaguchi, Oshino Hakkai & Ninja Village. Our pick up point was at the Apple Ginza store, which is very convenient to the place we stayed. The bus was very clean and comfortable and comes with free Wi-Fi access.

Our tour guide Levin was very friendly and good sense of humor and fluent in English.

We were lucky as the trip was perfect with clear sunny weather and we made our first stop at the Lake Kawaguchi. The view is awesome and fantastic. The blueberry ice-cream was so delicious.

Lunch buffet at the Ninja restaurant was pretty decent and in fact, I chose a “halal” meals just to get an experience of the service. Really well done, as they prepared a separate utensils and meals with clear “halal” signage. To my Muslim friends, they do cater for your needs.

We made another stop at the Oshino Hakkai and the view of villages are so serene (I mean if without all the tourist ). I would consider to spending one night here to enjoying the view and spend more time in this village.

Our final moment, the majestic Mount Fuji. We were made it to the 5th station, thanks to the clear sunny weather. We wished we could spend a bit longer time here. They are so many tourists, so you need to rush to capture the good spots.

The Fuji 4D simulator ride at the theme park was something special and it was a good experience. We depart and arrived Shinjuku station about 6.00pm.

Overall assessment: 10/10 ratings and I would recommend to others as well.

It is my 3rd time in Tokyo and first time trying this tour package. Overall it is a great experience, the tour was well organized with smooth transportation, sightseeing planning, good food and a great tour guide.

Jane, our tour guide is very kind and helpful, she shared a lot of knowledge of Japan with us on the bus, helped people taking pictures, and did a great job reminding people about the time at each site. It is this kind of attention made us feel worry free and enjoyed a great day.
