I enjoyed this tour during my stay in Kanazawa. We were able to efficiently visit Shirakawa-go and Takayama. The time allocation was just right, with plenty of free time to explore the highlights at my own pace. The driver and guides were also very pleasant, and I had a wonderful time. I participated on April 3rd, and after an unusual snowfall, Shirakawa-go was beautifully covered in snow.

Staff service was very good even prior to the start of the tour. At pickup point staff made sure we were at the right tour and everyone was on board. On the actual tour bus the guide talk about the different sights in Tokyo city before we got out of the city, and through out the drive to Mt. Fuji provide us with various cultural and scenic information. We had a good view of Mt Fuji, even though we did not get to the 5th Station. The ropeway ride was also good and well guide but the tour guide to make sure we got on board. The disappointing part was the boat ride on Lake Ashi - since our tour was part of a larger group of people, too many in our opinion as we had no place to sit down and had to stand in several crowded areas until we reach the other side. So we had no commentary about the Lake and it surrounds, so basically it was just a ferry ride to the other side of the lake. The guide look after us during lunch and had a place for us to sit even though we did not get a lunch package, and finally made sure we got the the Odawara Station OK and directed us to the correct train and platform.

I was satisfied that I could visit World Heritage sites without wasting time. The advice on highlights and routes was also helpful. The lunch spot and the rice cracker shop had friendly service, making for a pleasant dining and experience! In the morning, we gathered at the west exit of Kanazawa Station, but there were no signs, so I wished they had something like a whiteboard to guide us.

I participated with my 4-year-old child. We chose the 5 PM boat for our return. After the water buffalo cart ride, we enjoyed an additional 2 hours of rental cycling. The sun was a bit strong, but it was fun to easily explore the island. It was also convenient to use the free shuttle from Ishigaki Port to the hotel on our way back.

We are filled with gratitude for our guide, who quietly guided us despite our noisy group. We took happy photos with the Wilson tree. We learned about the names and origins of the plants, and it was quite enlightening.

At the end of March, it was a bit early for cherry blossoms, and Shirakawa-go had only a little snow left, so I didn't have high expectations. However, there were guests from abroad on the tour, and the tour guide provided explanations in both English and Japanese. We enjoyed stories about history, local anecdotes, and personal experiences from the guide, making the bus ride quite enjoyable. The lunch was also warm and welcoming, and I was very satisfied. ３月末で桜には少し早いし、雪も残雪程度の白川郷でしたので、期待はあまりしていなかったのですが、ツアーのお客さんには外国からの方もいて、添乗員さんは英語と日本語の２か国語で説明してくれました。

It was my first time in Okinawa, and I was unsure whether to rent a car, but choosing this tour was definitely the right decision. Both the guide and the driver were kind. They even sang for us, and not only did we get to our destinations, but we also learned a lot from the detailed guidance along the way, including the relationship between the U.S. military camps and the local community, as well as the current situation. I only knew Harajuku for the gothic-lolita kawaii fashion so it was very interesting to see the back alleys and food places I normally don't see in guidebooks. We got to sample a lot of regional specialities and lots of desserts (my favorite!) Our friendly guide was super knowledgeable and was flexible to cater to our entire group. But be prepared to swim through the crowd and possibly wait on lines for some of the treats.

At first we were worried about the pickup service, since we are not sure which bus to board, but then there is actually a guide? Which will meet us at the pickup location and check the attendance, then only we board the bus to daiichi hotel and change to another bus to hakone. The way to hakone from daichi hotel is about 2h30min, but we get to have a 15min break after an hour on the bus and we are also able to see mt fuji from the break spot. We have mr yoshi as our tour guide, and he was informative. While in the bus, mr yoshi also teaches us how to count from 1-10, sang a mt fuji song, and fold an origami of mt fuji. The lunch was also delicious.

I think we were able to efficiently enjoy lunch, including the cable car fare, at a reasonable price. The guide was an audio guide, which also had options in languages other than Japanese. It was disappointing that the lunch, which should have been warm, was served cold, possibly to save time. I believe it would have been better if the bus stop times at each sightseeing location were a bit longer. It was helpful that they asked for our preferences regarding the drop-off location for the return bus.

I was visiting Ishigaki Island for diving, so I didn't have much time for sightseeing, but this plan was just right in terms of timing! At Kabira Bay, I was able to take an optional glass-bottom boat ride! I saw beautiful seas, fish, and coral! The bus guide was also very good!

Our guide Asami did a great job taking us to places with great eats! She made sure to give us background info about the places we were visiting and even explained Japanese customs and table manners. She also accommodated personal requests (getting specific souvenirs, etc.) which made the tour feel more intimate.

I did expect this tour to feature more Instagrammable food, but it wasn't so much the case. Nonetheless, everything we ate was good. I especially loved the sesame ice cream!

I found this activity while searching online for things to do in Kanazawa. A local guide accompanied us, which was very helpful for our free exploration. We had plenty of time to stroll around and thoroughly enjoy the sights. It was great that they pointed out photo spots. We also made it back in time for the Thunderbird, allowing us to enjoy the World Heritage sites.

The walking time was long and quite tiring, but our guide, Mr. Kobayashi, was very considerate of our pace, which was a great help. We also took breaks at just the right moments, and somehow we managed to return at the end having enjoyed ourselves.

Due to the heavy rain since the previous day, there were warnings from the morning, and I was quite anxious from the start. However, the warnings were lifted, and we began at the Arakawa trailhead. It seems that starting from here is tougher, but I trusted the judgment of our experienced guide. It was extremely cold because of the rain, but the miso soup that the guide provided was truly comforting.

Completing two major courses at once was certainly hard, and I dealt with muscle pain for two days, but once the pain subsided, I realized it had been a wonderful experience. Perhaps due to the rain, the trekking lasted a total of 12 hours, but I'm glad I went. This course would be impossible without a guide, as it would break your spirit! (laughs)

こっちからスタートするほうがしんどいらしいですが、ベテランガイドさんの判断にお任せ
雨が降っていたのでめちゃくちゃ寒かったですが、ガイドさんの出して下さったお味噌汁が本当に染み渡りました
いっぺんに2大コースを済ませる分、当然ハードで、2日間筋肉痛を引きずりましたが、痛みが引いてやっと、素晴らしい体験になったなぁと思います
雨のためか計12時間のトレッキングになりましたが、行けて良かった
このコースはガイドさん無しだと心が折れるので無理ですね 笑

Yakushima for the first time 初めての屋久島

This was my first time in Yakushima. It was late March, so it wasn't high season, but I still enjoyed it. The weather was bad and humid, but it seems that the rocks in Yakushima are not slippery even when wet, so I didn't struggle much with the hiking. Personally, I thought Taiko Rock and the Mossy Forest were the best. I enjoyed the sacred atmosphere in the conditions after the rain. If I were to visit again, I think I would skip the Yakusugi.

今回が初めての屋久島でした。3月下旬とハイシーズンではありませんでしたが、普通に楽しめました。天気が悪くジメジメしてましたが、屋久島の岩は濡れても滑りにくいみたいでそこまで登山に苦労はしませんでした。
個人的には太鼓岩と苔むすの森が最高でした。雨上がりのコンディションで神聖な雰囲気を楽しめました。
またリピするなら屋久杉は省略すると思います。

当日は天気にも恵まれ、外国の方々も含む20名ほどのツアーでした。ガイドの方々はとても親切で、バスの中で教えて頂く情報も大変面白く、移動中も楽しく過ごせました。
白川郷や五箇山相倉はまだ雪も残っていて、風情あるとても素敵な景色でした。展望台に登ったりお土産やさんに寄ったり、のんびり散策できました。昼食は(ツアーに入ってる食事だし...)と特に期待していなかったのですがビックリ！美味しくボリュームたっぷりでお腹いっぱいになりました。
手焼きせんべい体験も楽しかったです。
ガイドしてくださる方々のお陰で本当に楽しい一日になりました。ありがとうございました。
