Our tour guide is Alberto, who is a very nice and warm person. He provided a briefing before we arrived and gave us a map marking the meeting points. He also left his contact information in case you really get lost in these beautiful places. The beef lunch at Koshiyama (a restaurant near Shirakawago) is delicious. What made us a bit sad is that we only had 1.5 to 2 hours in Takayama and Shirakawago; we don’t think that’s enough time to enjoy these lovely places. However, we still had a good day and would love to visit again.

Moving smoothly through Kyoto's attractions was easy, even for an elderly couple, and I can recommend Kyoto sightseeing to anyone.

What impressed me was that after the tour, "Bunko," who had been working with us, accompanied us to Osaka's Dotonbori, saying that it was on her way home. She guided us on the train and subway, making what would have been a long journey very smooth. I am truly grateful for that. Beyond the beauty of Kyoto, I was really happy to meet such a kind person. It became my best memory. I will visit again. Thank you very much.

感動したのは、ガ勤めて勤めていた「文子」さんがツアー解散後、大阪道頓堀に移動する私たちを帰り方向が近いと言うことで、一緒に電車や地下鉄に乗ってくれて案内してくれました。私たちだけでしたら長時間かかる移動がとてもスムーズで、心から感謝してます。京都の美しさもさることながら、親切な方に出会えて、本当に嬉しかったです。一番の思い出となりました。また伺います。ありがとうございました。

Since it was a free seating arrangement, there were people who participated as pairs but weren't able to sit next to each other. They communicated with the guide to switch seats, but I was worried that shy individuals might not be able to tell the guide.

There were people who were 10 minutes late, 20 minutes late, and 5 minutes late, which was quite bothersome. Even when I said I would call the person, it was difficult to find them in the list because of the free seating. If it had been assigned seating from the start, I could have called them instantly since I would have their names and phone numbers.

I was aware that there would be many Chinese participants and that the guide spoke mostly Chinese with little Japanese, as I confirmed this through reviews before joining.

On that day, there were two buses: the first one was entirely Chinese, and the second one was half Chinese and half Japanese.

The atmosphere on the bus was quiet!

Overall, it was a fun experience.

自由席なので、ペアで参加したのに隣同士座れてなかった人がいた。途中でガイドにつたえて交代してもらってたけど、内気な人だとガイドさんに言えないんじゃないかとヒヤヒヤした。

集合時間に10分遅れた人20分遅れた人、5分遅れた人といて迷惑でした。
で、本人に電話します！と言っても自由席だから、名簿の中から探すのに一苦労はわらっちゃいます。最初から指定席にしてたら、名前も電話番号もわかるから一瞬でかけられることができるのにと思いました。

I have been to Okinawa many times, but I had never been to the Yanbaru area, so this tour was perfect. In particular, Daichi Forest was a place that was more interesting than I had imagined. There were quite a few slippery spots, so it's necessary to prepare shoes that are not slippery and easy to walk in.

沖縄へは何度も来ていますが、やんばる方面は行っていなかったので、ピッタリのツアーでした。特に、大石林山は想像以上に興味深い場所でした。結構、滑りやすい場所もあったので、滑りにくく、歩きやすい靴の準備は必要です。

When searching for tours, I wrote this as a reference for those who might be concerned, as I saw in past experiences that there were no restroom breaks for three hours on the way back. I was worried about that when choosing a tour. I'm glad to hear that the experiences shared in the past have been communicated to the tour company!

The tour was quite hectic but very enjoyable. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium involves quite a bit of walking, so it might be tough for those who are not used to exercising. I think everyone has covered the details of the tour, so I'll skip that. For those going during the season starting in December, the maximum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius and minimum of 15 degrees feels quite cold. Especially at the places visited during the tour, the sea breeze is strong and it can be very chilly, so winter clothing is definitely appropriate. On International Street, everyone was dressed for winter; there were no people in short-sleeved T-shirts or light clothing like long-sleeved T-shirts with hoodies.

ツアー探しの時に、過去の体験談で帰りの３時間トイレ休憩がなかったとあったので迷われる方がいれば参考にと思い書きました。
ツアー選びの時に私はそこが大丈夫か！？っと気になったので。

ツアーは、バタバタしてますがとても楽しめました。美ら海水族館はけっこう歩くので運動不足の人はしんどいかも。
ツアーの内容については皆さん書かれていると思うので省くとして、１２月からの季節に行く方の参考に・・・・、沖縄の最高気温１７度、最低15度は体感では寒いです。特にツアーでまわるところは海風が強くすごく寒く真冬の服装で問題ないです。国際通りなども、皆冬の服装で半袖TシャツやロンTにパーカーなどといった薄着の人はいませんでした。

I participated from a region where I don't see snow.

The snowy landscape was very beautiful. After visiting Lake Shikotsu, we took the Usuzan Ropeway to the summit. We were able to see a magnificent view.

Lunch by Lake Toya was visually appealing and the meal was satisfying for a tour, but if I could make one request, I would have liked a menu. The scenery at Lake Toya changed in an instant, but it was great to see the beautiful Lake Toya and the sunset from the Silo Observatory.

There were several drop-off points, which was very convenient. The staff were also polite and pleasant. I used the same company's regular sightseeing tour last year and it was great, so I would like to use it again next time.

雪を見ることのない地域からの参加です。

雪景色、とてもきれいでした。支笏湖見学後、有珠山ロープウェイに乗り山頂へ。
壮大な景色を見ることができました。
洞爺湖畔での昼食は、見た目も綺麗でツアーの食事では満足できる内容のお料理でしたが、一つ注文させて頂くとしたらお品書きがほしかったです。
一瞬で景色が変わる洞爺湖でしたが、サイロ展望台からはきれいな洞爺湖と夕日が見られて良かったです。

降車場所も何か所かあり大変便利でした。乗務員さんも丁寧な対応で感じが良かったです。昨年も同社の定期観光を利用し良かったのでまた次回も利用させて頂きたいと思います。

Last year, on November 23, 2023, I participated in the Shirakawa-go + Takayama bus tour, and it was wonderful, so this year, on November 22, 2024, I joined the Shirakawa-go + Gokayama bus tour. Unfortunately, it was rainy, but the gassho-zukuri houses in Shirakawa-go were slightly colored with autumn leaves, and the mist created a beautiful view that I enjoyed. I imagine it must be covered in heavy snow during winter. The lunch featuring mountain and river delicacies was delicious. The guide's explanations were also great, and I am thinking of visiting again next year, in 2025.

昨年、2023年11月23日に、白川郷＋高山バスツアーに参加して、素晴らしかったので、今年、2024年11月22日に、この白川郷＋五箇山バスツアーに参加しました。生憎と、雨模様でしたが、合掌作り白川郷、少し紅葉しており、霧が出ていて、良い景色を、楽しめました。冬はさぞかし豪雪に覆われるのでしょう。昼食の山、川の幸は、美味しかったです。ガイドさんのご説明も良くて、来年、2025年にも訪れたい、と思っています。

Day trip tour from Fukuoka.
There were 15 participants on the day, so we used a small bus, which felt a bit cramped. This number of participants is quite tricky. If there were just a few more people, I think we could have used a larger bus with two seats per person...

This time, there was only one Japanese participant, and while the Chinese guide was doing their best, it seemed they didn't understand much of our Japanese (^^; (^^;

Lunch was scheduled for 11 AM, which was early, and although it was a buffet at Kumamoto Castle, it was disappointing that I couldn't eat much...

福岡発日帰りツアー。
当日参加者は１５名ということで、小型のバスになり、少し窮屈でした。
この参加者数が一番微妙ですね。あと数人多くなればひとり２席利用の大型バスになると思うのですが・・

今回も日本人は一人だけで、中国人ガイドさんは頑張ってはいましたが、こちらからの日本語はあまり理解できないようでした(^^;(^^;

ランチは時間が１１時と早く、せっかくの熊本城でのバイキングでしたが、あまり食べられなかったのが残念・・

It was a bustling tour with a total of 40 participants, even though it was a weekday. However, the driver, the guide, and all the participants were of Chinese descent. I was the only Japanese person there.

There was no guidance in Japanese at all, but the itinerary and meeting times were communicated directly in Japanese, so there was no problem.

Well, thanks to the foreign tourists, it's great that a tour can take place even on a weekday when it would normally be quiet.

平日なのに総勢４０名の盛況ツアーでした。
ただし運転手もガイドも参加客もすべて中国系外国人。日本人は私一人(^^;(^^;

日本語でのガイドは全くないですが、行程、集合時間などは直接日本語で言ってくれるので問題ないです。

ま、外国人観光客のおかげで閑古鳥が鳴くはずの平日でもツアーが成立するのはありがたいです(^^;(^^;

It was a tour exclusively for foreigners departing from Fukuoka.

On the day of the tour, there were about 20 people on a large bus, so each person had two seats, which was quite comfortable. Among the passengers, there were only myself and the driver who were Japanese. The other passengers were half Filipino and half Chinese. The guide was Chinese and mainly provided commentary in English and Chinese.

The main itinerary and meeting times were communicated in Japanese, so there were no issues. There was almost no general Japanese-speaking tour guide.

However, I was able to visit the places I wanted to go, and thanks to the many foreign passengers, the tour was able to operate even on days when there were no Japanese tourists, which I really appreciated.

当日は２０名ぐらいで大型バスだったので一人２席利用で余裕がありました。
その中で日本人は私と運転手さんだけ(^^;(^^;
フィリピンと中国系乗客が半々。
ガイドさんは中国人で、主に英語と中国語のガイドでした。

主な工程と集合時間は日本語で言ってくれるので問題ないです。
一般的な日本語での観光ガイドはほぼなしです。

でもまあ行きたいところへは行けましたし、多くの外国人乗客のおかげで、日本人観光客のいない日でもツアーが成立するのでありがたいです。

Despite the fact that the cost for two people was deducted, I was told that there was no reservation for two. The tour guide also got angry with me. Additionally, it seemed like our seats were going to be separated, making it a terrible tour experience.

費用は2人分引き落とされていたのにも関わらず、2名の予約はされていないと言われ、 添乗員に逆ギレされた。
また、座席も離されそうになり、最低なツアー体験でした。

The guide spoke English but also used Japanese and took care of me, which made for a great trip.

I was able to travel with foreigners and visit the long-desired Takachiho Gorge, Amano Iwato Shrine, and Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine. They were truly beautiful, and I was moved and excited to see such wonderful scenery in Japan. I'm glad I went from Chiba.

Since I usually work with foreign customers, I really appreciated this trip. Thank you so much to the guide.

外国人の方と一緒に旅行出来て、念願の高千穂峡と天安河原、天岩戸神社、上色見熊野座神社にも行けてホントに綺麗で日本にはこんなに素晴らしい景色があることを感動してワクワク出来ました。千葉から行って良かったと思いました。

I was very satisfied with how efficiently we could tour the sightseeing spots by bus! The autumn leaves were wonderful! The guide provided smooth directions, making for a comfortable bus trip.

I was able to visit the long-awaited Jomon Sugi, and I felt that its grandeur and the timelessness of the place are truly valuable experiences that can only be appreciated in person! I was a bit worried about the rain, but it held off, and since it was the off-season, it was almost like having the place to myself. I was able to take my time enjoying sights like the Wilson stump's heart and take plenty of photos! Winter can be a bit cold, but personally, I found it manageable and would recommend it.

On the way back, I used the local bus, which allowed me to stop at the airport without any additional charges and relax my whole body (especially my legs) at the onsen (Manten). I definitely want to come back for a mental and physical refresh!

念願の縄文杉を訪れることができ、その迫力と悠久の時は、直接見た方が分かる価値だと感じました！
少し雨が心配でしたが何とか持ち、またオフシーズンで、贅沢ながらほぼ貸し切り状態だったこともあり、ウイルソン株のハート他、マイペースで見るだけでなく、写真も思う存分撮ることが出来ました！冬は少し寒いですが、個人的にはそれほどでもなくお勧めと思いました。
また帰りは、路線バスを活用したからか、急遽追加料金無しで、空港下車で温泉(まんてん)で全身(特に足)の疲れを癒すことが出来ました。また心身のリフレッシュに来たいと思います！

The Japanese guide was fluent in Chinese. However, the answers to our questions did not match, making communication very difficult.

日本語のガイドさんは中国語が堪能でした。
我々の質問の答えが合致しておらず、意思疎通が大変でした。

The Miyazaki beef lunch was delicious, the views of Takachiho Gorge were breathtaking, and visiting the shrines was amazing! The guide was friendly, which was great. I fell into a deep sleep on the way back thanks to the gentle driving of the female driver.

As mentioned in other people's experiences, it was a bus tour for foreigners. There were only two groups of Japanese people, including myself, but the guide was very attentive and provided detailed explanations in Japanese, showing great consideration. The travel time on the bus was long, so I found the return trip quite tough on my back, haha. I was able to fully enjoy the magnificent nature of Takachiho, and overall, I had a fulfilling day, so I am very satisfied. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

日本人は自分含め2組でしたが、ガイドさんは丁寧に日本語でも細かくガイドして頂き、気配りの出来る方でした♪

To conclude, I’m really glad I participated!
As a trip, every location had many highlights. When I participated, the rough time allocations were about 1 hour in Gujo Hachiman, 2 hours in Takayama, and 2 hours in Shirakawa-go, so you need to move efficiently and quickly, or you won't have enough time. I think it's better to research the places you want to visit in advance.
Since I went to Shirakawa-go on a weekday between 3 PM and 5 PM, many shops that usually stay open until 5 PM closed by 4 PM, so it’s better to check out cafes and the gassho-zukuri buildings first. On the flip side, from around 4 PM, the number of tourists decreases, making it easier to take photos of the scenery.
Regarding the other tourists on the same tour, when I participated, I was the only Japanese person. (laughs) There were many tourists from China, and since I had seen reviews of this tour, to be honest, I was quite anxious until we reached the first sightseeing spot. However, everyone was very well-mannered, quiet on the bus, and adhered to the meeting times, returning to Nagoya as scheduled. This was another reason I felt glad to join this tour. My impression really changed.
As for the guide, I can’t emphasize enough how positive my impression was; it’s not an exaggeration to say that thanks to this person, we had a safe tour.
On the bus, they provided highlights of the places we visited and safety reminders (like restroom breaks and seatbelt alerts) in Chinese, English, and Japanese, allowing for a safe and comfortable sightseeing experience. They were probably from China but spoke Japanese well, and whenever they spotted me, the only Japanese person, they spoke to me in Japanese. When we finally arrived in Nagoya, after everyone got off, they checked the seats to ensure no one left anything behind, showing great consideration until the very end. It was truly a wonderful tour.

結論から言いますが、参加してほんと良かったです！
旅行としてはどの箇所も見所多く私が参加した時は、大まかですが郡上八幡が1時間、飛騨高山2時間、白川郷2時間の滞在時間なので、ある程度効率よく早足で回らないと時間が足りなくなります。寄りたい場所をある程度調べて訪れた方が良いと思います。
白川郷は平日の15〜17時の時間帯に行ったので、本来なら17時までやってる店なども16時に閉まる店が多く、先にカフェや合掌造りの建物を見学した方が良いです。逆に言えば16時くらいから観光客が減るので景色を撮りやすい時間でした。
同じツアー観光客についてですが、私が参加した時は日本人は私1人でした。笑
中国からの観光客が多くみられ、このツアーの口コミも観てたので本音言うと最初の観光地に着くまですごく不安でした。しかし、皆さんすごくマナー良くバス内では静かで、集合時間も守り、名古屋には予定通りに戻ってきました。この点もこのツアーに参加して良かったと思った点です。ほんとに印象が変わりました。
ガイドさんについてですが、この方のおかげで安全なツアーが出来たと言っても過言では無いほど好印象な方でした。
バス内では中国語、英語、日本語で訪問箇所の見どころや移動中の注意点(トイレ休憩あるかやシートベルトの注意喚起)をしてくださり、安全で快適な観光ができました。多分中国出身の方でしたが、日本語も上手で、唯一日本人の私を見かけたら日本語で話してくれました。最後名古屋に着くと、全員降りた後に忘れ物がないか座席を確認してる姿も最後まで配慮が行き届いた方で、ほんとに良いツアーでした。

The feeling of seeing the full view of Mount Fuji, which can only be partially seen from Tokyo, is truly exceptional. The beauty of Mount Fuji, with its long base, as seen from the sightseeing boat on Lake Kawaguchi, is breathtaking. When I disembarked, I felt as refreshed as if I had just meditated. The lunch buffet was delicious and offered a wide variety of options, and I felt as if I was dining under the watchful gaze of the magnificent Mount Fuji outside the window. I believe Mount Fuji is the ultimate power spot; it cleanses the heart and leaves you feeling invigorated. The guide was attentive and warm, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time.

都内からは頭の部分しか見えない富士山の全貌を目にした時の感動は、格別です。
河口湖の遊覧船から見る裾の長い富士山の美しさは圧巻。
下船する時には瞑想をした後のような清々しい気持ちでした。
お昼のバイキングも美味しいものが種類豊富で、窓の外の大きな富士山に見守られながら食事をしている気分でした。
富士山は究極のパワースポットなのではないかと思うくらい、心が洗われ、スッキリしました。
ガイドさんもきめ細やかであたたかく、安心して過ごせました。

A workshop experience that is not affected by the weather. It was fun and captivating.
You stick stickers on Ryukyu glass and spray sand to create designs. It's not just easy and enjoyable! Every time I use the glass, happy memories come flooding back.

天候に左右されない体験工房。楽しくて、夢中になりました。
琉球ガラスにシールを貼り、砂を吹き付けて絵柄をつけます。簡単で楽しいだけじゃない！グラスを使うたびに楽しい思い出が蘇ります。

I enjoyed the mangrove cruise in Iriomote Island and the ox cart ride in Yufu Island. The tourist points and boarding areas were easily accessible by bus, and the driver's stories were entertaining. In Taketomi Island, I chose the ox cart tour, but I think it would have been better to take the bus to the beach if it was my first time. We encountered a downpour along the way, which might have been tough if we were on bicycles. The shaved ice was delicious.

西表島のマングローブクルーズも由布島での牛車乗りも楽しめました。
観光ポイントと乗船場もバスでスムーズな移動で、運転手さんのお話は楽しかったです。
竹富島では牛車観光を選んだのですが、初めてならバスで浜の方へ行ったほうが良かったと思いました。　
途中でスコールのような雨にあいました。自転車だったらしんどかったかもしれません。
かき氷が美味しかったです。

I was able to efficiently visit the sightseeing points on Ishigaki Island. The guide's explanations were very easy to understand, and I had a great time.

Although it was winter, the weather was nice and the scenery at all locations was beautiful. The meals exceeded my expectations and I was satisfied. If I had to wish for something, I would have liked meat or fish as the main dish. My biggest concern was the availability of restrooms during traffic jams or bad weather, but there were no traffic jams and plenty of restroom breaks, so I was able to complete the entire journey without any issues. However, I think it would be better to choose a bus with restrooms in the future, as we never know what might happen.

冬場でしたが天気もよくすべての場所の景色がきれいでよかったです
また食事も期待以上で満足でした。欲を言えばメインに肉か魚がほしかったです。
一番心配していたのは渋滞時や天候悪化の交通不通時のトイレでしたが渋滞もなく
トイレ休憩も多かったので何の問題もなく全行程を終了することができました。
でもやはり将来的には何が起こるかわからないのでトイレ付バスにした方が
よいかと思います。

The plan was to go from Takayama to Shirakawa-go, but due to road congestion, it was reversed. It might have been better that way.
The guide was trilingual and spoke Japanese well.
The bus tour had 80% Asian foreigners and 20% Japanese, but everyone was punctual and well-behaved.
Shirakawa-go was snowy, but we were able to visit all the sightseeing points we wanted. I gave up on lunch and ate skewers and menchi katsu on the bus.
It was raining in Takayama. We arrived at 2:30, and since most ramen shops were closed, we found one that was still open and went in. The soup had a rich flavor, but it was delicious.
I was glad we could visit Takayama Jinya and Sakurayama Hachiman Shrine.
Lastly, I appreciate the female driver for her safe driving. 😊

高山から白川郷の予定が、道路の混雑により逆になりました。却って良かったかもしれません。
ガイドさんはトリリンガルで、日本語も上手でした。
アジア系外国人8割･日本人2割のバスツアーでしたが、皆さん時間厳守でお行儀も良かったです。
白川郷は雪でしたが、行きたい観光ポイントは全て行けました。昼食は諦めて、串焼きとメンチカツをバス内で食べました。
高山は雨。2時半に着いたのでラーメン屋さんはほぼ時間外の中、1軒だけ営業中を見つけ入店しました。濃い味のスープでしたが、美味しかったです。
高山陣屋と桜山八幡宮に行けて良かったです。

Since there were many foreign participants in the tour, the guide explained in both English and Japanese, incorporating jokes. Despite being December, we were blessed with good weather and were able to see the autumn leaves, making it a very enjoyable tour.

ツアー参加者は外国人が多い為ガイドさんは英語と日本語で冗談を交えながら説明されていました。天気に恵まれ12月にもかかわらず紅葉を見れてとても良いツアーでした。

I had visited the Churaumi Aquarium multiple times, so this time I wandered around the surrounding facilities. I enjoyed the planetarium and the rare tropical plants. Personally, I wish I had more time to spend at American Village.

美ら海水族館は何度も訪れていたので今回は周辺の施設をウロウロ見て回りました。プラネタリウムや熱帯の珍しい草花を堪能させて頂きました。
個人的にはアメリカンビレッジの滞在時間がもっとあったらいいなぁと思ってます。

We used this tour to treat our Vietnamese employees. The tour guide was very friendly and engaged well with the Vietnamese participants, which we really appreciated. As a Japanese person, I was a bit worried that the explanations might be mostly in Vietnamese since it was my first time in some places, but it was almost half and half, making it very easy to understand. I would like to try other tours personally next time.

ベトナム人社員慰労のため、当ツアーを利用させていただきました。ツアーガイドさんがとても気さくな方で、ベトナム人に良く声掛けをしていただきながら旅を進めてくださったのがとてもありがたかったし、日本人の私自身、初めての場所もあり、説明も日本語少な目なのかな？と心配していましたが、ほぼ半々で、大変わかりやすかったです。今度は個人的に他のツアーも利用してみたいと思いました。

Since the tide had just started to rise, it seemed that operating the boat was quite challenging. It was disappointing that they originally planned to go further upstream. I appreciated that the explanations were quite detailed. However, since I had gone to see the mangroves by kayak on the Miyara River the day before, it felt a bit different in comparison.

干潮から増え始めたばかりなので、船の運転が大変そうでした。本来ならもっと上流に行く予定みたいなので残念でした。説明は結構詳細なところまでしてくれて良かったです。但し、前日に宮良川のカヤックでマングローブを見に行ったので、それと比べると少し違ったかな。
