On the first day of my trip to Okinawa, I picked up my tickets at the airport and on the last day, I dropped off my luggage at the airport before taking a bus to the aquarium. I had reserved the Airport Liner for access between the aquarium and the airport in advance, so it was very smooth. (Those with reservations get priority seating.)
Along the way, I caught sight of the emerald green sea, which really boosted my excitement. The Churaumi Aquarium is divided into various sections, and the area with the whale sharks was extremely crowded, so I was glad I had picked up my tickets in advance. There were many international tourists, making it quite dense, so wearing a mask is essential. (You definitely don’t want to catch the flu or COVID during your trip.)
There are several places to eat and plenty of spots to take a break, so you won’t get tired. The whale sharks were wonderful, but I highly recommend watching the manatees as they munch on lettuce with their hands; it’s incredibly cute!

ジンベイザメも素敵でしたが、マナティがレタスを手でモシャモシャ食べる様子がとても可愛いのでおすすめです。
気温の変化を考慮して、上着はあったほうがいいですね。（1月）バス待ち中日陰は寒いので、ウィンドブレーカー持って行って良かったです。

The tour starts at the reserved time, so if you're going in the afternoon, I recommend arriving early if you want to have lunch at the café by the entrance or buy souvenirs. (You'll reach the restaurant inside about an hour into the tour.)
Once the tour starts, the guide will take the group around while explaining things. You can explore freely from around the dining hall. The composite photos of riding brooms and Quidditch were really fun.
My child had just watched Harry Potter before going, so they were very excited about the immersive experience. They were a bit scared in darker areas like the giant spider section, though. The Butterbeer (non-alcoholic) is a must-buy since you can take the glass home!
Here are some system-related concerns I had:
- During the tour: There’s a system where you can scan a QR code to download photos taken on-site, but it seems better to access the QR code each time rather than taking a screenshot. In my case, I thought it would be easier to scan the screenshot, but not all the photos were included, and I ended up having to contact support to get them sent later. (It took some time to get a response.)
- Before the tour: I found the font size on the voucher to be too large and hard to read. We made a reservation for four people, but scrolling down to see the same information for each person was a bit cumbersome. I think it would be better to adjust the font size to fit the screen of a smartphone (like one person’s information per screen).

以下は、システム関連で気になったことです。
・ツアー中
中でQRをかざし、サイトから撮った写真DLできる仕組みがありますが、QRはスクショせずにその都度アクセスして出した方が良さそうでした。私の場合、アクセスが面倒と思いスクショでQRかざしていたせいか、ちゃんと全部写真が入っていなく、サポートに問い合わせて後日送ってもらうハメになりました。(対応に時間かかりました)
・ツアー前
バウチャーが文字が大きくてみにくかったのは少し気になりました。
4人で予約しましたが、下まで人数分同じ内容をスクロールするのは大変でした。
スマホの画面にあった文字の大きさにした方がいいと思いました。(1画面に1人分など)

Finally, I made my long-awaited visit to the Churaumi Aquarium! I arrived at 8:30 in the morning and dashed straight to see the whale sharks. Their grace is overwhelming, making you feel as if you're underwater. I was completely captivated.
After about two hours, a huge crowd of visitors started to pour in, and I couldn't take it anymore, so I left. I returned around 5 PM, just before closing, and once again, an uncrowded aquarium is the best! It's great that you can re-enter as many times as you want on the same ticket throughout the day.
What's even more amazing is the Okichan Theater! It's a dolphin show, but with the ocean as the backdrop, it feels incredibly open. Plus, it seems you don't need a ticket to watch this. Really!? That's amazing!!
The show itself was fantastic, and I ended up watching it twice (laughs).
ついに念願の美ら海水族館へ！
朝一、8時30分から行き、ダッシュでジンベエザメに会いに行きました。

I went on the middle day of the three-day weekend, expecting it to be crowded, but during the 9 AM entry, the line for ticket exchange moved quite smoothly, and I was able to take the elevator to the observation deck and corridor. Even though I had made a reservation in advance, I ended up standing in the same line as customers who bought same-day tickets, and we took the same elevator to the observation deck. I arrived before my reserved time, but I was able to go up to the observation deck only an hour later.

At Warner, I had the staff scan the QR code displayed on the voucher upon entry, and I easily exchanged my subway ticket at the ticket machine in Ikebukuro. It was very simple to use both! Since I've watched the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies many times, it was a fulfilling day to see the spaces, props, costumes, and production that I had seen in the films! The food at the restaurant was also delicious, so I was very satisfied.
