I was taken care of by our guide, Taki. He explained how to wear snowshoes and the animal tracks very thoroughly. The drift ice and the waterfall were incredibly beautiful. Drinking coffee on the drift ice was a luxurious experience that I will never forget! Thank you very much!

The weather forecast changed to a nice one, and I was able to see something quite rare. The scenery was truly wonderful. The tour guide was very kind, and the driver ensured a safe and comfortable journey.

I was somewhat surprised by the number of foreigners, but I would love to come back to see the Tateyama mountain range, which shows various faces throughout the four seasons. The bento was also very delicious, and I was extremely satisfied.

　天気も良い予報に変わり、なかなか見れないものをみれました。本当に素晴らしい景色でした。添乗員の方も大変親切でしたし、運転手さんも安全運転で快適な旅でした。
　外人さんが多かったのは若干びっくりしていますが、春夏秋冬いろいろな顔を見せる立山連峰をまた見にきたいと思いました。
　お弁当も大変美味しく、大満足です。

I was impressed by how well the tour was programmed, with stops that were neither too short nor too long. I truly enjoyed the lunch in the snowfields of Midagahara and the strolls around Murodou, including the Snow Wall. I'm really glad I participated.

Especially, our guide, Mr. Otsuka, was knowledgeable and well-connected throughout Tateyama, providing precise instructions on how to best explore each stop, making for an extremely comfortable tour.

何箇所かの立ち寄り先があったのですが、そのどれもが短すぎず長すぎず本当によくプログラムされたツアーであることに感心しました。
弥陀ヶ原の雪原でのお弁当や雪の大谷をはじめとする室堂周辺の散策などどれもが楽しく本当に参加してよかったなと感じております。
特にガイドの大塚さんは博識であり立山のあちらこちらで顔が効き、どの立ち寄り先に於いてもどう見て回るのが良いか的確に指示していただき極めて快適なツアーを演出していただきました。

The snow wall was at its lowest at 11 meters, having melted a bit from the previous 13 meters. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I was surprised by how many foreigners were there. The tour included experiences that you can't have on a personal trip, such as drinking spring water, listening to talks about erosion control, and having lunch on the snow. There was some fog along the way, but the weather was nice at the top of the mountain, and the scenery was beautiful. It turned out to be a fun trip without feeling cold at all.

雪の大谷 今までで一番低い13mから、少し溶けて11mでした。それなりに堪能しましたが、外人さんが多いのにびっくりしました。ツアーは、名水を汲んで飲んだり、砂防の話を聞いたり、雪の上でお弁当を食べたりと個人の旅行では味わえない経験をさせていただいました。途中霧が出たりしましたが、山の上では天気もよく景色も綺麗で、全く寒くなく楽しい旅行になりました。

I had always wanted to see the Snow Wall. After searching for a tour departing from Toyama with relatively short travel time compared to bus tours from travel agencies, I found this tour. Given the weather and the unusually high temperatures in May, I didn't have high expectations, but I ended up having a very enjoyable and satisfying day.

*I received plenty of explanations about Toyama, Tateyama, ice, water, plants, and the Japanese rock ptarmigan, allowing me to learn a lot beyond just seeing the Snow Wall.
*Having lunch while sitting in a kotatsu dug into the snow, with the provided mat and enjoying the view, was an exceptional experience.
*Mr. Otsuka, our guide, provided excellent commentary, and the arrangement of the tour itinerary was fantastic. Just as described in the tour page's guide introduction, he wanted everyone to experience the awe of Tateyama, and this tour truly allowed us to feel that.
*The change in the bag of potato chips we received was easy to understand and quite interesting (it required some restraint not to open it until the end).
*The small bottle for spring water that was given as a gift was cute and surprisingly became a nice memento.

*I hope there will be a hiking tour to see the autumn leaves and stars, and I would love to visit Toyama again.

ずっと雪の大谷を一目見ようと思っていました。
旅行会社のバスツアーより、移動時間が相対的に短い富山発着のツアーを探したところ、このツアーを見つけました。天候や、5月異例の高温で、それほど期待をしなかったのですが、とても楽しく、満足の一日を過ごすことができました。

*富山や立山、氷、水、植物、雷鳥など、いっぱい説明していただき、雪の大谷を見る以外の勉強がたくさんできました。
*雪に掘りこたつして、用意していただいたマットを敷いて、景色を眺めながらのランチ、格別な時間でした。
*ガイドの大塚さんの解説、ツアー行程のアレンジがとても素晴らしく、まさにツアーページのガイド紹介通り、彼が感動した立山をみなさんにも体感してもらいたい、それを実感できるツアーでした。
*いただいたポテトチップスの袋の変化がわかりやすく、面白かったです（最後まで開けないよう、我慢が必要）
*プレゼントの湧き水用の小さいボトルが可愛らしく、意外と記念になってうれしかったです。

*秋の紅葉時、星を見るハイキングツアーがあればいいなと願いながら、又富山を訪れたいと思いました。

The instructors are interesting and kind. I want to go again. The dry suit is not cold at all, and it keeps you safe even when floating in the icy sea.

インストラクターも面白く親切です。もう一度行きたいくらい。ドライスーツは、全く寒くも無くぷかぷか浮いて極寒の海の入っても安全です。

It was forecasted to rain, but although the wind was strong, we managed to avoid getting wet.
I participated from Toyama City, and I had a great time learning so many new things.
It mentioned stopping by a spring, so we were discussing whether to bring something to put it in, but I was happy to receive a cute bottle.
The snow wall, the snowy mountains, and the waterfall were all incredibly impressive.
I was very satisfied to see the ptarmigan as well.
Walking in the snowy mountains left my body sore the next day, but I really enjoyed it.

雨予報でしたが、風は強かったですがなんとか降られずにすみました。
富山市内からの参加でしたが、知らないことばかりでとても楽しめました。
湧き水の所に立ち寄ると書いてあったので、何か入れるもの持ってく？と話していましたが、かわいいボトルをもらえて嬉しかったです。
雪の大谷も雪山も滝も迫力満点ですごかったです。
雷鳥も見れて大満足でした。
雪山を歩いたことで、翌日体がバキバキになりましたが、とても楽しめました。

Last year, the trip was canceled due to falling rocks, so this time it was a revenge trip. The snow at the Great Snow Wall exceeded my expectations. We heard stories and quizzes about Toyama's abundant water from Mr. Otsuka. It's an easy day trip bus tour. Having lunch on the snow while gazing at the Tateyama mountain range was fantastic. We walked through the snow from Murodo and were lucky to spot a pair of cute ptarmigans just before Mikurigaike. I want to go again next year.

昨年は落石でキャンセルとなり今回はリベンジでした。期待以上の雪の大谷。大塚さんから富山の豊富な水のお話やクイズあり。日帰りで楽々いけるバスツアーです。立山連峰を眺めながらの雪上ランチも最高。室堂から雪の中を歩き、みくりが池手前のところで可愛い雷鳥のツガイにも会えてラッキーでした。来年も行きたいです。

Without the guide, I might have just ended up looking at the Snow Wall, but thanks to participating in the tour, I was able to walk on the snowfields of Murodo and conduct various experiments, learning about how to build snow walls and the properties and characteristics of snow. There was also a fun tea time with coffee and cocoa prepared by the guide, which was really enjoyable. I was very satisfied to see the rock ptarmigan as well.

ガイドがなかったら、雪の大谷 を見るだけで 終わっていたかもしれませんが、ツアーに参加したおかげで、 室堂平の雪原を歩いて、いろんな実験をしたり、 雪の壁の作り方や雪の性質や特徴を学びました。ガイドさんが 用意してくれたコーヒーやココアで 楽しいティータイムもあって、とっても楽しかったです。ライチョウも見ることができて 大満足でした。

Dreamy Ice Walk

When I woke up in the morning, I was worried about the event because the drift ice had drifted quite far offshore, but it went ahead as planned. Since the event was held in the bay, there was plenty of drift ice, and with temperatures just under 10 degrees, there were many cracks, making it easy to get immersed in the ice, which was great. The guide also took a lot of photos for us, which was nice.

If I had to mention something, I would have appreciated having a waterproof case for my smartphone available for rent (it would have been nice to have been informed in advance that a waterproof case would be beneficial), and it was a bit unfortunate that the breakwater showed up in the background of the photos in the bay.

However, I was very satisfied because I received many photos for free! Thank you very much!!

憧れの流氷ウォーク

朝起きると流氷がだいぶ沖に流れていたので開催を心配しましたが予定通りでした。
この日は湾内での開催だったので流氷もしっかりあり、気温が10度弱で亀裂も多く流氷にドボンと浸かりやすくてよかったです。
ガイドさんがたくさん写真撮ってくれたのもよかったです。

強いて言えば、レンタル品でスマホ防水ケースがあれば嬉しかった(事前に防水ケースがあったほうがいいよとお声がけいただけたら嬉しかった)のと、湾内だとどうしても写真後ろに防波堤が映り込むのが惜しかったです。

でも、無料でたくさん写真もらえたので大満足です！

The guide shared a lot of interesting information about various animal tracks, their habits, and the nature conservation in Shiretoko, which was enjoyable.

ガイドさんは色々動物の足跡や生活習慣、知床の自然保護などたくさんの面白い情報を紹介してくれて、楽しかったです。

Initially, I planned to just take a boat from Abashiri to see the drift ice, but as I researched, I found out that I could walk on the drift ice with Veltour, and even go further in, so I decided to go to Shiretoko.

I had some worries like, "What if there’s no drift ice?" or "What if the weather prevents us from walking?" but I was really glad that we were blessed with good weather and could safely experience it.

I had thought that the drift ice was all separate and just floating, so when I first saw it from a distance, I thought, "This is just like walking on snow." However, as I walked on it, I encountered the floating drift ice, and when I thought it was solid, it would sway and I would stumble or get stuck, which made it really fun. It was truly enjoyable!

I love Hokkaido and have been there many times, but this was the most fun and memorable experience I've had! I definitely want to participate again next year.

Our guide, Imahi, was very friendly and was smiling the whole time, which made the experience even more enjoyable and warm-hearted.

最初は網走から船に乗って流氷を見るだけの計画を立てていましたが、調べる内にヴェルトラさんで流氷の上を歩くことができる、さらに入ることができると知り知床まで行くことにしました。
流氷が来ていなかったら、、
天候によって歩けなくなったら、、
などせっかく行くのに、と不安もありましたが、天候に恵まれ無事体験することができてほんとに良かったです。
流氷とは1つ1つ離れていて全てがプカプカ浮かんでいるものだと思っていたので、初め遠くから見ていると「これって雪の上歩くのと同じやん」と思っていました。
ですが歩いていくとプカプカした流氷にも出会えたし、固いと思ったらゆらゆらで転ける、ハマる、というようなおもしろさもあり、ほんとに楽しかったです。
北海道がだいすきでたくさん行きましたが今までで1番楽しい最高の思い出ができました！
ぜひまた来年も参加したいと思います。

ガイドのいまひさんの愛想もとてもよくて終始ニコニコしており、いまひさんのおかげでさらに楽しめたし温かい気持ちになりました。

I participated in an ice floe walk for the first time. It was also my first time wearing a dry suit, but they taught me carefully, so I had no problems at all. I was grateful that they lent me a knit cap, which eased my worries about getting wet.

They took photos and uploaded them, so I didn't have to worry about bringing my smartphone and possibly dropping it, allowing me to enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

This time, I participated in tours from both Picchio and Shinra, and it was hard to choose between the two.

If I had to say, Picchio is great for beginners and families because they provide thorough support, while Shinra moves at a quicker pace, catering to those who want to enjoy things on their own to some extent. The experience areas were the same for both companies when I participated, so I don't think there was a significant difference in the content of the experiences.

初めて流氷ウォークに参加しました。
ドライスーツを着るのも初めてでしたが、丁寧に教えてくださるので、何も問題ありませんでした。
ニット帽を貸してくれるのも、濡れるのが気にならなずありがたかったです。

写真を撮ってアップしてくださるので、自分でスマホを持ち込んで落としてしまうかも、といった不安に感じることもなく、安心して楽しめました。

今回、ピッキオさんとシンラさんの両方のツアーに参加したのですが、どちらも甲乙つけ難かったです。

強いて言えば、
ピッキオさんは丁寧にフォローしてくださるのでビギナーや子ども連れ向け
シンラさんはサクサク進めてくださるので、ある程度自分で楽しみたい方向け
といった感じでしょうか。
体験のエリアは、自分が参加した時はどちらの会社さんも同じところでしたので、体験内容に大きな差は無いと思います。

From the confirmation contact the day before, I received polite guidance and hospitality. Walking on the snow with snowshoes and sticks was very enjoyable. I found animal tracks and learned about the vegetation and the formation of rime ice, which was extremely interesting, providing an experience akin to cross-country skiing. I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful snowy scenery and felt a luxurious sense of having the silver world all to myself, and the tea time there was also a wonderful moment. Equipment such as ski wear and shoes were available for rent, making it easy to participate.

スノーシューとスティクで、雪上を歩くのはとても楽しかったです。

素晴らしい雪景色を満喫し、白銀の世界をひとりじめしたかのような贅沢な気分を味わえ、そこでのティータイムもまた素晴らしいひと時でした。

I walked through the empty, natural forest on snowshoes. Occasionally, I spotted birds or saw animal tracks in the snow and learned what kind of tracks they were. In this great outdoors, I encountered red foxes and deer while also learning about animal ecology. At Furepe Falls, a strong wind blew, drastically lowering the perceived temperature and allowing me to experience the harshness of winter in Shiretoko. After that, since I had no physical issues, I was guided to a place called "Men's Tears." The view of the Sea of Okhotsk and the steep coastline of the Shiretoko Peninsula from here was breathtaking. The staff provided detailed guidance, presenting materials at various points despite the cold, which made it easy to understand. In hindsight, I thought I could have dressed a bit warmer. Thank you very much.

誰もいない大自然の森の中をスノーシュでテクテク歩く。
時々鳥を見つけたり雪の中の動物の足跡を見て何の足跡か教わる。
そんな大自然の中でキタキツネや鹿と出会いながら動物の生態についても教わる。
フレペの滝では強烈な風が吹いていて一気に体感温度を下げ冬の知床の厳しさを体感した。
その後体力的に問題なかったので男の涙という所まで案内していただいた。
ここから見るオホーツク海と切立った知床半島の海岸線が絶景だった。
スタッフの方々は寒い中でも所々で資料を出しながら丁寧に案内してくれ分かりやすかった。
反省としてはもう少し着込んでもよかったかなぁ、と思いました。

It was raining when we departed from the city of Toyama. As we gained elevation, it turned to snow. At Murodo and the Snow Wall, there was a snowstorm. Thanks to that, we encountered a ptarmigan near Mikurigaike. When we descended, the weather changed from cloudy to sunny. It was truly a valuable experience. Thank you very much.

The tour itself was very good, and I was able to enjoy various things besides the Snow Avenue. It was great to hear interesting stories from the guide, the museum staff, and the driver. The only downside was the weather. I think it would have been perfect if it had been sunny.

ツアーそのものはとても良く、雪の大道以外にも色々楽しめました。ガイドさん、博物館館の方、運転手さんからも興味深い話が聞けてよかったです。惜しかったのは天気。晴れてたら最高だったと思います。

The explanation was easy to understand and enjoyable. I was able to develop an interest in the geography of Toyama. The snow circuit was rainy, but I still had fun.

I had wanted to see the snow wall for a long time. This year, with the heavy snowfall, I thought it was a great opportunity and joined a tour. I was worried because the forecast predicted rain, but thanks to the guide's arrangements, we were able to change our plans and see the snow wall. Unfortunately, it wasn't rain but snow, and it was quite a blizzard.

On the bright side, if you think about it, being able to see snow at this time of year could be considered lucky, and it might be a valuable experience. It was also great to learn about how the snow wall is formed at the center.

以前から行きたかった雪の壁。今年は雪も多かったのでチャンスと思いツアーに参加しました。雨予報だったのでどうなるかと心配していましたがガイドさんの計らいで予定を変更して頂き何とか雪の壁を見る事が出来ました。ただ雨ではなく雪になりかなり吹雪いていたのが残念でした。
考え様によってはこの時期に雪がみられるとはラッキーと思えばそれはそれで貴重な経験かもしれません。
雪の壁の出きかたもセンターで学べたのも良かったです。

On the day of the tour, unfortunately, there was thick fog, and everything around us was completely white. However, thanks to Mr. Otsuka's wonderful guidance, the bad weather didn't matter, and it turned into an amazing tour!

I brought trekking shoes, a down jacket for climbing, and gloves. I met our guide, Mr. Otsuka, in the lobby of Hotel Tateyama. He mentioned that the snow had become quite soft, and they offered to lend us snowshoes or rubber boots for free, so I decided to borrow snowshoes and trekking poles to start our trek!

Although everything was white around us, we were able to see a pair of ptarmigans. Mr. Otsuka used slides to explain their ecology in an engaging way, which was very educational. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable about snow, explaining the meaning, density, and weight of snow layers scientifically, which was fascinating! Thanks to Mr. Otsuka's pre-tour briefing, I was able to appreciate the Snow Wall much more deeply!

I was moved to realize that things that might not be clear when visiting the Snow Wall or Tateyama can become so much more appealing with the assistance of a professional guide like him! I definitely want to request Mr. Otsuka's guidance again when I visit Tateyama in the summer!

当日はあいにくの霧で、周りは真っ白でしたが、大塚さんの素晴らしいガイドで悪天候もなんともない素晴らしいツアーになりました！

当日はトレッキングシューズと登山用のダウン・手袋などを持っていきました。
ホテル立山のロビーでガイドの大塚さんと合流しました。
雪がだいぶゆるくなってきているとのことで、スノーシューもしくは長靴を無料で貸し出してもらえるとのことだったので、せっかくなので、スノーシューとストックを借りて、トレッキングスタートです！

あたりは真っ白でしたが、雷鳥のつがいを見ることもでき、雷鳥の生態なども丁寧に説明のスライドなどを使って、適宜面白く説明してくれたので、非常に勉強になりました。
また、大塚さんは雪について非常に博識な方で、雪層の意味や密度、重さなども実際に科学的にご説明してくれて、非常に面白かったです！
この事前の大塚さんレクのお陰で、雪の大谷もかなり興味深く見ることができました！

雪の大谷単体や立山観光だとわからないことも、こうしたプロのガイドさんのアテンドがあれば、こんなにも魅力あるものになるのか！と思い感動しました！
夏に立山に行く際にも、ぜひまた大塚さんのガイドをお願いしたい！と思った次第です！

I participated in the journey along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route not just to pass through, but to have a special experience. During the two and a half hours, we explored the snow while being shown the highlights, learned about snow in detail, and searched for the ptarmigan. We even got to see the ptarmigan (it was moving!), and the coffee we had during the break was excellent. Thanks to this, it became a fun trip. Thank you very much.

初めての立山黒部アルペンルートの旅で、通り抜けるだけでなく何か特別な体験がしたいと思って参加しました。
2時間半の時間に中で、雪の中を散策しながら見どころを教えてくれたり、雪について詳しく教えてくれたり、雷鳥を探したりしました。
雷鳥も見れたし(感動！)、休憩で飲んだコーヒーも最高でした。おかげで楽しい旅になりました。ありがとうございました。

It's warm to put ski pants inside your boots. Those who left the cuffs of their pants outside said their feet were cold and painful. I was so comfortable and had so much fun that I wanted to walk more. There were many deer. We were blessed with good weather, and we could see Rausu-dake clearly, which was moving.

長靴の中にスキーズボンいれると暖かいです。
ズボンの裾を外に出していた人は足が寒くて痛かったそうです。
私はもっと歩きたかったくらい快適で楽しかったです。鹿がたくさんいました。
天気に恵まれ 羅臼岳もくっきり見えて感動的でした。

The wonderful guide provided detailed explanations, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. We were able to rent ski wear and gloves, and they even provided hand warmers, making it easy to participate. The guide adjusted the pace according to the participants' fitness levels, offered detailed explanations at various points, and took amazing photos, creating the best memories. We were able to savor the richness of the winter primeval forest in Shiretoko, and we were also fortunate to catch the sunset at Cape Puyuni on the way back, which was very satisfying! スキーウェアや手袋などレンタルでき、ホッカイロまで提供してくれたので本当に身軽に参加できました。

Before going, I was thinking about various things like whether my hat would be okay or if I needed sunglasses, but once I got there, the explanations were thorough, and they provided everything necessary. I was able to take a lot of photos!

Wearing comfortable clothes is key; I wore pants with an elastic waistband, and as long as you’re careful with double socks, you should be fine! It was mostly free time throughout, and since there were only a few of us, I think we had a lot of fun!

I brought my GoPro8, and I was able to use it without any issues with just a silicone case! Since the GoPro shutter is hard to press with gloves, I recommend filming videos and then cropping photos later.

I was worried about the cold, but once I took off the dry suit, I was warm enough inside, so there was no need to worry about the cold! Thank you, Keke, for the half-day experience!

行くまでは、注意点など読み返していると、帽子はこれで大丈夫かなとか、サングラスないけど大丈夫かなとかいろいろ考えていましたが、行ってみると、説明も丁寧で、必要なものは貸していただけますし、写真もたくさん撮っていただけました(*^^*)
動きやすい格好で、ズボンは腰ゴムのもので、靴下は二重は注意すれば大丈夫です！
終始ほぼ自由で、少人数なので、やりたい放題遊びきれたと思います！
私はGoPro8持参しましたが、シリコンケースのみで問題なく利用できました！GoProのシャッターが手袋で押しにくいので、動画を撮って、後から写真切り出しをおすすめします(*´艸`*)
寒い事を心配していましたが、ドライスーツを脱いだら、中が汗ばむくらい寒さの心配はいりません！

It seems that there are many tours with large groups, but this one was held with a smaller number of participants, allowing the guide to pay attention to each individual. 大人数でされているツアーが多いようですが、少人数で開催いただきガイドさんが一人ひとりに気を配ってくださったので、他のツアーより沖寄りに歩いて行けました。

The fresh snow from the previous day was quite something. While pushing through the snow, I made a path and had lunch in the snow, which was really cold. It was quite an experience. It was nice to see the snow walls slowly, but it was truly a cold Golden Week. It's a shame I couldn't make it to Mikuri-ga-ike. It was a snowstorm, haha.

前日の新雪がなかなかでした。
ゆきをかきわけならが、みちをつくり、ゆきのなかでのランチ、寒かったどす。なかなかの体験でした。雪の壁は、ゆっくりみれてよかったけど、ほんと、寒い5がつ連休でした。
ミクリが池までいけなかったのがざんねんでした。吹雪でした笑笑

I had a truly enjoyable and fulfilling time. The lunch was fantastic! Otsuka's attention to detail in creating the atmosphere was impressive. The various considerations for the tours on the bus, perhaps due to Otsuka's personality, greatly contributed to the experience. I have experienced many tours so far, but this is undoubtedly one of the best. I usually find it troublesome to write reviews, but this time, I wrote one for the first time to express my gratitude. Thank you, Otsuka!

本当に楽しい、大充実な時間を過ごしました。ランチ、最高でした！大塚さんの場所作り、圧巻です。バス内も色々なツアーのお気遣い、お人柄でしょうか、大塚さんのガイドに依るところが大きいです。今までたくさんのツアーを体験しましたが間違いなくベストの１つです。いつも面倒で体験談は書かないのですが、今回、お礼を兼ねて初めて書きました。大塚さん、ありがとうございました！
