On the last day from Kohama, I was guided through a day in Ishigaki Island, which also served as a preview for my next visit. Although I requested tourist spots that I found online, thanks to the driver's arrangements, I was taken to some hidden gem viewpoints. I never expected to have such a fulfilling day, and I truly enjoyed it. The experience included places that only a local driver would know, and it was so enriching that I almost don't want to share it with everyone. I definitely want to be guided again next time.

小浜からの最終日、次回の視察も兼ねて石垣島での一日を案内して頂きました。
ネットで調べたような観光地をリクエストしたものの、運転手さんの計らいでかなり穴場の絶景スポットへ連れて行ってもらいました。
こんなに充実した1日が過ごせるとは思わず、かなり満喫できました。

We were able to efficiently spend our time as he stopped at scenic spots along the way. My husband and son only speak English, but he communicated with them and showed interest in our local area, which made for enjoyable conversations. We also had a leisurely family meal together. After arriving at Ishigaki Airport, I was picked up and taken to visit the Shisa Farm, Kabira Bay, Cape Ongasaki, Yaima Village, and the Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave, before being dropped off at my hotel. The sightseeing at each location was a lot of fun, and the driver was kind, making our conversations enjoyable during the ride. Since I'm not good at driving and wanted to avoid renting a car, and considering that bus services are limited, I truly appreciated being able to use this tour.

石垣空港に到着後迎えに来て頂き、そこからシーサー農場・川平湾・御神崎灯台・やいま村・石垣島鍾乳洞を回って頂き、最後はホテルへ送って頂きました。各地での観光も大変楽しかったですし、運転手さんも親切で移動中いろんなお話ができて楽しかったです。行きたい場所を何箇所か指定させていただき、後は現地の状況に合わせてオススメのスポットを効率よく回って頂けました。車の運転は苦手なのでレンタカーは避けたいし、バスの本数も限られているのでバスでの観光は難しいと思っていたので、こちらのツアーを利用させて頂けて本当に助かりました。

We toured from the hotel in Onna Village to Kouri Island → Nakijin Castle Ruins → Bise Fukugi Tree Lane → Churaumi Aquarium (a 7-hour course). Thanks to the driver's advice, we were able to stop at photo spots and take pictures, which was really great. At the sightseeing locations, he would say things like, "You should check this out!" which made for a very satisfying tour. When I requested to stop by a supermarket on the way back, he looked it up and took me there. Unfortunately, the supermarket was closed that day, but he kindly took us to the Michi no Eki Kyoda instead, where we could buy souvenirs and local ingredients, which was very much appreciated.

I was picked up at the airport by a cute Hello Kitty taxi (there are only a few of them), which really boosted my spirits (^o^).

The five-hour course included the airport → Kyoda Road Station → Kouri Island → supermarket → hotel in Motobu. The kind female driver was very accommodating, even responding politely to my request to take a picture of the white flowers I saw earlier. She took me to a large local supermarket where I was able to buy unique Okinawan ingredients, allowing me to enjoy Okinawan cuisine every day (since it was a self-catering accommodation).

Why didn't I give it the highest rating? It was because of the downpour during the rainy season, which forced us to give up on visiting Nakijin Castle ruins ^^; I will definitely ask for this service again next time and seek a do-over!

５時間コースで、空港→許田道の駅→古宇利島→スーパー→本部のホテル。
親切な女性ドライバーさんで、「さっき見た白い花の写真を撮りたい」なんていう要望にも丁寧に対応してくれました。
スーパーも地元の大きな店に連れて行ってくれて、沖縄独特の食材を買うことができたので、毎日沖縄料理を楽しめました(基本自炊の宿なので)。

なぜ最高の評価にならなかったか?
それは梅雨のスコールのような雨で、今帰仁城跡観光を断念したから^^;
次の機会にはまたお願いして、リベンジします❢

The rental car was too expensive, so we requested this service, and it was the right choice! It was smoother than moving around by ourselves, and we learned a lot about Ishigaki Island. There were so many things we discovered for the first time, like the island's unique plants and foods, which was very educational. Although the weather was unfortunate, we were taken to the places we wanted to go, and we received great guidance. We were shown a delicious place for Yaeyama soba and taken to a shop that locals often visit, where we even got some pineapples! It was a very enjoyable time, and we were extremely satisfied!

The driver, Mai, drove safely, adjusted to our pace, and provided very polite guidance. Shirakawa-go was in full bloom with cherry blossoms, but perhaps because it was a Monday during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not crowded, allowing us to spend time leisurely and fully enjoy the World Heritage site, which felt very lucky. Since it was a private tour, we were able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about those around us. During the journey to Shirakawa-go, the scenery visible from the car was explained to us, allowing us to experience not just a simple transfer but also touch upon the culture and history.

Once we arrived at Shirakawa-go, we were guided to the observation deck, and afterwards, we had free time, which was nice as it allowed us to have some time just for ourselves even in a private setting.

The schedule included Gokayama as well, but there was no guidance to Gokayama. Since we mentioned in the car that we had been to Gokayama once, there might have been a misunderstanding, but the return time to Kanazawa was as scheduled, so I thought our stay in Shirakawa-go was extended and didn’t mention it to the driver.

Overall, we were able to enjoy sightseeing, and the travel was very comfortable, so I’m glad we chose this service. Thank you very much.

We efficiently visited all the places we wanted to go, such as Kouri Island, the Churaumi Aquarium, and Orion Happy Park, managing to see everything even with limited time. At Nakijin Castle Ruins, our driver, Mr. Ishikawa, provided explanations of the highlights, took photos at various scenic spots, and recommended great supermarkets and delicious dining options. Thanks to him, our trip became so much more enjoyable! His safe driving even allowed me to doze off a bit during the last part of our travels, so I was able to rest properly (laughs). The scheduled itinerary was packed with activities, so if you skip a few things, you can take your time and enjoy the sights. The guide was a modest woman, which made me feel at ease. (She was reserved and quiet, but she provided a thorough and rich explanation during the tour.) I would like to use this service again when I visit Kanazawa.

当初、金沢市内はレンタカーで周るつもりでしたが、渋滞対応や道順のロス等を考慮し、こちらのガイドツアーを利用させて頂きました。思った通り、観光タクシーには専用の駐車場が各観光スポットのベストな位置に完備されており、駐車場を探す手間なく周れました。料金面でもレンタカーに多少の上乗せをするレベルであり、断然お得ではないかと思います。昼食には鮨みつかわさんを予約していましたが予定通りにお店に入れましたし、妙立寺さんの予約も事前にガイドさんに入れていただけ、無駄なく観光出来ました。予定されているスケジュールは内容が盛りだくさんなので、多少端折って周ると、ゆったり観て周れます。
ガイドさんも控えめの女性だったので安心出来ました。（控えめでおとなしい方でしたが、ガイドはしっかりしていただきましたし説明の内容も充実して濃かったです）
また金沢を訪れる際には利用させて頂きたいと思います。

I was picked up at the hotel and after thoroughly exploring Shirakawa-go and Gokayama for about three hours, I was taken to Kanazawa Station. While walking through the village, the guide clearly explained the highlights, history, and local specialties, which deepened my understanding. We always wore masks, so infection control measures were in place. One thing to note is that there was an additional charge for highway and parking fees on the day of the tour, separate from the tour fee of 30,000 yen, so I would have appreciated it if those could have been included in the estimated tour cost. It was a very enjoyable tour. Thank you!

女性1人でも観光を楽しめるよう、ドライバーさんが観光とともに石垣島の気候や植生、動物のことなど色んなことをお話ししてくださり、最後まで楽しむことができました！
当初希望していた観光スポットがうまく伝わっていなかったのか、全てのスポットを回ることはできなかったのですが、その分寄り道もしながらゆったりした時間を過ごすことができたり、ドライバーさんのお気に入りの絶景スポットなど、現地の人しか知らない美しい景色が見られる場所に案内していただけたりしたので、却って満足度の高い観光ができました＾＾

ルートが決まっているこちらより少し安めの観光タクシープランもありましたが、変わりやすい冬の天気を読みながら自由に行程をアレンジできるこちらのプランにして正解でした。
また石垣島に来たら、リピートしたいと思います＾＾
