I participated in the trip alone, but I became friends with the person sitting next to me on the bus, and I had a great time.
The weather was a bit rainy, but it made the scenery even more mystical.
I was able to take some really good photos at the places the guide showed us!

I have always wanted to visit Shirakawa-go, which I often see on TV. This time, when planning a trip to Hokuriku with my two close friends, I found and signed up for a day trip bus tour with Veltra. On the day of the tour, we were blessed with good weather and were captivated by the rich nature, the charming old houses, and the nostalgic scenery, spending a wonderful time. The lunch at the traditional farmhouse was also delicious. The bus driver and the guide were kind and great. I definitely want to go again.

I had never really used a bus tour before, but I thought it would be a relaxed and safe way to go with my friends, so I decided to join. As a result, my friend who came from Taiwan was very satisfied with the day.

We enjoyed walking around Takayama and tried several types of sake at a shop we both liked. After filling our stomachs, we got back on the bus. While dozing off, we arrived at Shirakawa-go. The view of Shirakawa-go from the observation deck is always great, no matter how many times you see it. Climbing up and down to the observation deck was also good exercise, which was nice. It's reassuring to have the bus available as well.

Since we had some extra time, we ended the day with a visit to a day-use hot spring. We were able to relax for about 40 minutes before heading back to the bus. I felt completely satisfied both physically and mentally, and I mostly slept on the way back to Nagoya Station.

The flexibility during travel that a bus tour provides is wonderful. It was also enjoyable in a good way that there were not many Japanese people on the bus. If I have the opportunity again, I would definitely like to participate. Thank you for a wonderful day!

高山で食べ歩きをして、2人共好きな日本酒のお店で数種類試飲。お腹が満たされてバスへ。
うとうとしてる間に白川郷へ。
展望台からの白川郷は、何度見ても良い雰囲気。
展望台への登り下りもなかなか良い運動になって良かったです。バスもあるので安心です。
時間に余裕があったので、最後に日帰りの温泉へ。40分程ゆったりと出来てバスへ。
心身共に満たされて、名古屋駅までほぼ寝ていました。
バスツアーだから出来る移動時のゆとりは良いですね。
日本人が車中少ないのも良い意味で楽しかったです。
また機会がありましたら、是非参加させていただきたいと思いました。

For those without a car, accessing Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go can be quite challenging. I chose this bus tour because it covers both locations, offers free time, and operates with just one participant.

At the meeting point in Nagoya Station, there were many participants, requiring two large buses (most of whom were Chinese), but everyone gathered on time. We departed smoothly ahead of schedule, and all breaks and gatherings at each spot were punctual.

While we managed to avoid rain in Hida Takayama, it was unfortunate that it poured in Shirakawa-go. We arrived in Hida Takayama around 11 AM, so I recommend having an early lunch at that time. Although there were many souvenir shops in Shirakawa-go, there weren't many restaurants. This village has several spots that served as the setting for the anime "Higurashi: When They Cry," and exploring the village in the rain while searching for these spots became a fun memory.

After a journey of just under three hours from Nagoya to Hida Takayama, including one break, we had two hours of free time at the destination. We then traveled to Shirakawa-go in just under an hour, where we also had two hours of free time. The return trip was similarly just under three hours, including one break.

The bus seating was spacious, the female driver drove safely, and although the guide couldn't speak English, she was very kind and friendly, making it a great tour. It was a simple yet well-organized itinerary, providing a stress-free and satisfying experience.

I would like to use this service again if the opportunity arises.

車を持たない人にとってはなかなかアクセスが難しい飛騨高山と白川郷。この２つをカバーし、自由時間があり、1名から催行ということでこのバスツアーを選びました。
集合場所の名駅では、参加者が多く大型バス2台を要しましたが（大半は中国人）、集合も時間厳守。名駅からスムーズに時間前に出発、各スポットまでの途中の休憩所、スポットでの自由散策後の集合もすべて時間どおりでした。

飛騨高山では雨を免れたものの、白川郷では土砂降りだったのが残念でした。
飛騨高山には11時前後に到着するため、この時に早めにお昼ご飯を食べるのがおすすめ。白川郷ではお土産屋さんは多かったものの、レストランはあまりありませんでした。この村にはアニメ「ひぐらしのなく頃に」の舞台となったスポットがいくつかあり、雨の中村を散策しながらスポットを探すのも楽しい思い出となりました。

名古屋から飛騨高山まで途中1回の休憩を含め3時間弱の乗車後、現地で自由時間が2時間。その後1時間弱で白川郷まで移動し、同じく2時間の自由時間がありました。復路も往路と同じく1回の休憩を含め3時間弱。
バスの座席スペースもゆったりめ、女性の運転手は安全運転、ガイドさんは英語は話せないものの、非常に親切で気さくな方だったので、とてもいいツアーになりました。シンプルですが非常によく組まれた行程で、ストレスなく満足できるツアーでした。

次回もまた機会があれば利用したいと思います。

The meeting point was hard to see because the flag was not very visible, and the tour guide had not arrived, so I got lost. Many people were confused and wandering around because they couldn't see the flag. Even though the bus seats were assigned, there were still some people who didn't understand that. In the end, someone without a seat showed up, which delayed our departure.

Since it was a three-day weekend, we got caught in a huge traffic jam, making it a long bus tour, but we still had enough time at the sightseeing spots, which was good. Normally, this would be the season for autumn leaves, but this year was just before that; however, I was still healed by the beautiful scenery.

The weather was nice, making for a wonderful day. In Shirakawa-go, there was an annual doburoku festival, and I was glad to learn about it from our guide, as I didn't know about it beforehand. The guide was very knowledgeable and kindly recommended some great places to eat. However, on festival days, many dining spots are closed, and there were lines at the open restaurants, so it was a good decision to eat right after we arrived. I also enjoyed walking around the old streets of Takayama. The itinerary helped us avoid traffic, allowing us to have a smooth day. Thank you very much.

お天気も良く、大変良い1日となりました。白川郷では年に一回のどぶろく祭りがあり、知らなかったのでガイドさんに教えてもらえてよかったです。ガイドさんはよくご存知でオススメのお店を教えてくれたり、とても親切でした。ただ、お祭りの日は食事場所がおやすみのところも多く、空いているお店に列ができていましたので、食事は到着後すぐにとって正解でした。高山も古い街並みの街歩きを楽しめました。渋滞を回避する工程にしてくださり、順調に1日終えることができました。ありがとうございました。

I live in Tokyo, but it was fun to see Tokyo Tower from a different perspective. The food was also very delicious. It was enjoyable to watch the chef cooking as well. The guide was very attentive and taught us how to take beautiful photos. I would love to participate again during Christmas or cherry blossom season.

There were more foreign visitors than I expected, and the guide spoke to me in Chinese at the meeting point. However, they quickly remembered my face and spoke to me in Japanese from then on.
The explanations on the bus were in Japanese → Chinese → Korean (audio) → English (audio).
One positive aspect was that before arriving at the sightseeing spots, they provided a map and distributed a sheet with the participants' languages, explaining each group one by one. 渋滞があったので、最終的に戻って来た時間は遅くなりましたが、とても満足できました。
ガイドさんも運転手さんも本当に感じが良かったです。

On our way back to Kanazawa city, our conversations led to many recommendations from the driver, making it a thoroughly satisfying trip for the whole family. Although the tour started with bad weather, we had a fantastic time, and I truly appreciate it. I would love to use this service again!

Our driver also recommended Kawanura for sweet red bean paste and Moroe-ya for traditional Japanese sweets, which we visited the next day! We were able to buy delicious souvenirs. Thank you very much!

We participated as a Japanese parent and child (the child is in elementary school). We spent about two hours exploring Shirakawa-go and the old streets of Takayama. Since it was just the two of us, that amount of time was just right, allowing us to stroll around, stop by cafes, and have meals without wasting time. I think it's perfect for those who want to efficiently visit cultural heritage sites in one day.

The tour guide was kind and friendly, providing detailed information. They also distributed tourist maps of Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama before we arrived, which would help first-time visitors get a good sense of the area.

This time, there were many Asian tourists, and the announcements were mainly in Chinese and Japanese, but I didn't find anything particularly difficult to understand.

The overall group had very good manners, and everything proceeded on schedule, making the bus ride comfortable and enjoyable!

I would like to try a different course next time.

白川郷と高山の古街並み散策を、それぞれ２時間ぐらいの滞在でまわりました。
子供と2人だったので、それぐらいの時間が丁度よく、散策したりカフェに入ったり、食事をしたり
無駄なく回れました。
文化遺産を１日で効率よく回りたい方にはピッタリだと思います。

添乗員さんも優しい方で、色々と丁寧に教えてくれる親しみやすい方でした。現地に到着前に白川郷と飛騨高山の観光地図も配ってくれたので初めて行く方でもイメージしやすいのではないでしょうか。

今回はアジア系の海外の方が多く、中国語と日本語がメインでアナウンスされる感じでしたが、とくにわかりにくいこともなく過ごせました(^^)

参加メンバーさん全体がとてもマナーが良い感じだったのもありますが、すべて時間通りの予定進み、バス内も快適に楽しく過ごせましたよ！

I participated in a tour in October. During the food walk in Takayama, the Hida beef sushi was exquisite, and there was a place to sample different types of sake, making it a unique experience that only a bus tour can offer. After a two-hour stroll, we could relax on the bus, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing in a leisurely and comfortable manner. In Shirakawa-go, I was able to experience the beautiful nature, and I had a great time. The bus staff were also very courteous, providing explanations in Japanese, Chinese, and English, which made it very easy to understand. I definitely want to use this service again.

10月のツアーに参加しました。
高山の食べ歩きでは、飛騨牛のにぎり寿司が絶品で、日本酒の飲み比べをする場所もあり、バスツアーだからこその楽しみ方ができました。
2時間散策の後は、バスで休むことができるので、のんびりゆったりとした気持ちで観光できます。
白川郷では美しい自然に触れることができ、とても楽しむことができました。

Since it was my first time at Nagoya Station's Taiko Entrance, I spent about 10 minutes wandering around trying to find the meeting place, but I eventually spotted the tour flag in the crowd in front of the police box. The meeting place for the tour departing from Nagoya was easy to find, allowing us to participate in the tour with peace of mind! Most of the participants were from China, with only two groups of Japanese, including us. The staff were also Chinese, and the explanations during the transfer were in Chinese. They came to explain to us individually in Japanese!

We were blessed with good weather, took many wonderful photos, and created great memories from the trip! Each group had two hours of free time after getting off the bus, which was more than enough to enjoy ourselves! I recommend entering a restaurant in Takayama immediately after getting off the bus. The line became quite long afterward. The mitarashi dango is reasonably priced at 100 yen per stick and is very delicious, so definitely try it while walking around! Everyone's manners were good, and the schedule progressed on time!

My husband and I are talking about wanting to go again for an overnight stay! Thank you for the enjoyable tour!

お天気にも恵まれ、素敵な写真がたくさん撮れ、旅のいい思い出になりました！！それぞれバスを降りてからの時間は2時間の自由時間でしたが充分楽しめました！高山でのランチは、バス下車後、すぐにお店に入ることをおすすめします。その後の時間はかなり長蛇の列になっていましたm(_ _)mみたらし団子は一本100円とリーズナブル且つとっても美味しいので是非食べ歩きに♪参加者皆さんのマナーも良く時間通りにスケジュールが進みました！
次は泊まりで行きたいね！と主人と話しております。楽しいツアーをありがとうございました！

In Hida Takayama, I enjoyed grilled Hida beef skewers and sushi. The lean sushi was delicious and melted in my mouth as soon as I took a bite.
In Shirakawa-go, we took a shuttle bus to the observation deck, but I felt that two hours was not enough for a leisurely stroll.
Our guide, Kaku, was fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, and he was very good at providing guidance.
We departed from Nagoya Station at 8:30 AM and returned at 7 PM, making it a 10.5-hour bus tour with a total of 4 hours of walking in Takayama and Shirakawa-go. It might be tough for those who are not physically fit.

飛騨高山では飛騨牛の串焼きや握りを食べました。赤身の握りは口に入れた途端にトロけるようで美味しかったです。
白川郷ではシャトルバスで展望台まで行きましたが、ゆっくり散策するには2時間では足りないと感じました。
ガイドのカクさんは中国語の他に日本語も英語も流暢で、また案内も上手で良かったです。
朝8時半に名古屋駅を出発して夜7時に戻るまで10時間半のバスツアーで、高山と白川郷で合計4時間の徒歩。体力のない人にはきついかも知れません。

I felt drawn to Shirakawa-go and participated in a day trip from Kanazawa. The guide and interpreter explained the highlights and recommended souvenirs clearly, allowing us to enjoy a fulfilling free time. The meals were surprisingly delicious. About half of the participants were foreigners, and there were a few solo travelers; everyone spoke softly and elegantly, which was pleasant. Personally, I was captivated by the atmosphere of Gokayama, which is not overly commercialized. I would love to visit during the snowy season!

The water pudding was refreshing and very delicious. In Gokayama, it was great to experience the Kokiriko dance at the traditional hall. It was difficult to visit both places using public transportation, so I used a tour. It was good to be able to get around efficiently.

I had planned to have lunch in Shirakawa-go, but many shops closed at 2 PM, so I was disappointed that I couldn't eat the grilled sweetfish I wanted. I should have gone for lunch right after arriving in Shirakawa-go, but I was overwhelmed by the scenery and ended up prioritizing sightseeing instead. I went to the morning market in Takayama, but it was a bit disappointing that I couldn't take any vegetables home.
However, it was great to have various shops for food tasting. By the way, I had meat sushi and local craft beer, which were both very delicious.

今回のツアーは、日本人5人だけで後は海外の方達でした。バスの中はなんだか異国感がありましたが、添乗員さんが日本人だけに丁寧に説明して頂けたのが良かったです。
高山で2時間、白川郷で2時間だったのですが、もう少し時間が欲しかったです。白川郷で、お昼ご飯と思っていたのですが、多くの店舗が14時でお店が終わってしまっていたので、岩魚の塩焼きが食べたかったのですが食べることが出来なかったのが残念でした。白川郷に、到着して直ぐにご飯に行けば良かったなですが風景に圧倒されて、観光が先になったのが間違いでした。高山の朝市に行ったのですが野菜などお持ち帰りが出来ないので少し残念でした。
食べ歩きは、いろんなお店があって良かったです。
因みに肉寿司と、ご当地クラフトビールいただきました。大変おいしかったです。
バスの、座る場所を最終列にしたのも良かったです。後ろに気を使うこともなく、前も広かったなで足が楽ちんでした。
少し雨でしたが大雨ではなくや買ったです。

There were plenty of delicious foods to enjoy while walking around. It was a two-hour stroll, but I was able to fully enjoy it.

There were many people from Asia, including China and Korea, and the bus was full. The tour guide was fluent in both Chinese and Japanese. They were friendly and very easy to talk to. I felt that if you want to secure sightseeing time, you need to forgo lunch. I thought next time I would like to stay overnight and enjoy it more leisurely.

As for the stay in Shirakawa-go, I think it was almost sufficient unless you extend your visit to the observation deck.

In any case, I feel it's a "must-see at least once" kind of place, and if you like it, it’s a good trial for a future leisurely visit in terms of cost.

About 90% of the participants were foreigners, and the tour guide was a young Chinese person, but they did a great job, and I had no worries at all.

感想:私達以外はほぼ中国人でアナウンスはガイドさんが中国語で行っており、最初はすごく不安でしたが、日本人ということを話すと、地図などを配る際におすすめの場所などを日本語で説明してくださり、途中からは不安なく過ごせました。今回はツアーで周るところは2箇所でしたので、それも良かったのかもしれないです。たくさんの場所を周るツアーで知らない言語の解説は厳しいと勉強になりました。

集合時間になってもツアーメンバーが現れない人がいると待たないといけないので、どのメンバーでツアーに回るのかも重要だなと勉強になりました。最初こそ大幅に遅れが発生しましたが、その後はほぼ予定時刻での出発でしたので良かったです。

The one-day tour this time was truly wonderful. We enjoyed delicious beef in Takayama and saw old buildings. After that, we headed to the UNESCO World Heritage site Shirakawa-go. We had two hours there. At first, I thought it might not be enough time, but surprisingly, we managed to see everything. I believe the scenery changes with the seasons, so we chose to go in the summer this time. It felt like entering a dream world. I had so much fun. The driver was also very experienced, and since it was a three-day weekend, we returned without much traffic. The Chinese staff were very kind as well. Thank you very much. I regret that I participated without knowing much about it, but there was no explanation in Japanese from the guide either on the bus or at the site, except for what we asked. I was anxious because I didn't know what time we would arrive at the tourist spots, which was disappointing. Perhaps it would be better to not allow Japanese participants at all.

This was my first time participating. There were only three of us Japanese, and the remaining 20 to 30 people were Chinese and Korean. The tour guide was a Chinese student working part-time, and they could speak a little Japanese. However, the guide mostly slept in the vehicle and didn't explain the scenery around us, only providing the minimum necessary information about meeting times and arrival times!

To make matters worse, some passengers didn't keep to the schedule! A particular couple was repeatedly late, which prevented us from departing on time... I'm not sure if the guide said anything to them... It was disappointing because the sightseeing should have been enjoyable. However, it was still good that the second person was free.

Thank you for participating in our tour the other day. This tour is different from other courses; as the name "Activity" suggests, it is a day trip exclusively to Shirakawa-go on weekends.

It was a very hot day, but most participants took plenty of time to explore the village thoroughly. We received reviews from customers who participated that they were satisfied with the tour content, including the meals.

We are very sorry to hear that you did not seem to have much interest in the World Heritage site of Shirakawa-go.

Thank you very much for providing the opportunity to explore Shirakawa-go and Takayama in one day! It was a very satisfying tour!

Both Shirakawa-go and Takayama had a walking time of two hours, and I was initially worried about whether we would have enough time to see everything, but we were able to explore thoroughly. In fact, the time limit allowed us to be more efficient in our sightseeing. Additionally, we arrived in Takayama before noon, which meant we could participate in the morning tour, and I appreciated that consideration.

At the meeting point, there were also non-Japanese participants, and I was concerned about feeling out of place, but the tour guide explained everything in Japanese, English, and Chinese, so those worries were unnecessary.

Once again, thank you very much for providing such a wonderful tour experience.

この度は白川郷、飛騨高山とを1日で散策できる期待を提供くださり誠にありがとうございました！とても満足いくツアーでした！

白川郷、飛騨高山とも散策時間は2時間であり、当初は十分に周りきれるのか心配もありましたが、十分に周りきれました。むしろ、時間制限があるので効率的に周ることができました。また、飛騨高山は12時より前に到着するので、朝一に参加することもでき、その点も配慮を感じました。

集合当初は日本人以外の方もおり、肩身が狭くならないか心配でしたが、添乗員の方が日本語、英語、中国語とをそれぞれ使って説明くださるので、そのような心配も不要でした。

改めてになりますが、とても素敵なツアーの時間を提供くださり誠にありがとうございました。
