I was disappointed with lunch. Of course, it is clearly stated that the restaurant changes, but even considering that, it was not at all appealing.

The food was cold, the dishes were terrible, and while the meat was served, it didn't make up for it.

I was the only Japanese participant. I was worried that the car would be noisy, but it was very quiet. Almost no one was talking. The driver was Japanese and kind. I had been wanting to visit Kamigami Kumanoza Shrine and Amano Iwato, so I jumped at the chance when I found this plan!

I had already read in the reviews that it was geared towards foreigners (I applied without knowing, oops) and that there wouldn't be any historical explanations, so I was glad I did some research about the area at the library and on YouTube.

On the day of the tour, I was a bit anxious being the only Japanese person, but the guide was kind and efficient, which made me feel at ease.

I'm looking forward to it again!

上色見熊野座神社と天岩戸に行きたいと思っていたので、このプランを見つけて思わず飛び付きました！

あらかじめ皆さんのレビューで、外国人向けだということ(知らずに申し込みました　汗)歴史とかの説明は無いことなど知っていたので図書館やYouTubeで現地のことを調べたりしておいて良かったです。

当日１人日本人ということで少し不安でしたが、ガイドさんも優しくテキパキと仕事ができる方で安心して臨むことができて良かったです。

We departed with about 20 participants on a microbus. Aside from the four of us, the others were from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore. The guide and the driver were not Japanese, but they provided guidance in fluent Japanese and Chinese.

The first stop was the Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine in Minami-Aso. After climbing a long, steep staircase, we reached the shrine. Further back, there was a large wind hole called Suentokuiwa. After that, we enjoyed a lunch of grilled dengaku at the Dengaku Preservation Society right in front of us. The grilled yamame with crispy skin was delicious.

We then traveled for about an hour by bus to Takachiho Gorge. It was crowded with many visitors, but the bus took us right to the promenade, making sightseeing easy. We only had about an hour to stay, so we couldn't ride the boats as the same-day tickets were already sold out. We enjoyed the magnificent scenery and ended our visit with a stroll at Amano Iwato. I felt the grandeur of nature once again.

We returned to Hakata Station by bus in three hours. I am grateful to the driver for getting us there earlier than planned.

その後、すぐ目の前の田楽保存会にて田楽の囲炉裏焼きの昼食です。
皮がパリパリに焼けたヤマメが美味しかったです。
再びバスで一時間ほど移動して高千穂峡に向かいます。
たくさんの人が来ていて混雑していましたが、バスは遊歩道まで行ってくれるので楽々で観光できました。
滞在が一時間ほどなのでボートには乗れませんでした。
すでに当日券は完売していました。
雄大な景色を満喫して最後に天安河原を散策しました。
自然の雄大さを改めて感じました。
またバスで3時間掛けて博多駅に戻りました。
予定よりも早く到着できて運転手さんには感謝です。

This was the worst sightseeing bus tour I've ever been on, and I won't participate in such a tour again. At the very least, it should have an audio guide format like the ones in Hokkaido, available in Japanese, English, and Chinese; otherwise, essential Japanese tourists won't join. Since the explanations of the sightseeing content are not in Japanese, it sounds boring and just like noise.

I was taken past Akama Shrine without any announcement. Other than that, I thought it was great to visit various places. There were many convenient pickup locations, but I felt that it made us run behind schedule. There were even some foreign travelers who missed their flights because of it.

I wanted to visit the Kamishikimi Kumano Jinja, and since there aren't many tours that include this, I found this tour and signed up immediately. The weather was nice, and I was truly happy when I saw that big rock up close. I think it would be even better if the stay was a bit longer (I had some free time in Takachiho).

It was comfortable since we were able to efficiently visit hard-to-reach places just by riding the bus.

It felt a bit challenging with all the movement, but I was glad to visit places I wouldn't normally go. I was taken to some great locations.

However, I was disappointed that the internal guide only spoke Korean, with Japanese only providing the meeting time and minimal information. It would have been nice to hear more enjoyable details about the scenery and local information from the bus guide. I think the Korean guide was probably saying other things too. For Japanese people, the tour felt somewhat lacking.

移動が多くて少し大変な感じもするけど、自分ではなかなか行けない所へ行けたので良かった。
良い場所に連れて行ってもらいました。

ただ、社内ガイドが韓国語だけで日本語は集合時間とか最低限のお知らせしかなかったのが不満。

There was no Japanese guide since I was on the same bus as Chinese tourists, and only one Japanese person. The reception was in Japanese, but the guide spoke entirely in Chinese, and the instructions were given in Chinese followed by only a few words in Japanese with a Chinese accent, making it difficult to understand. After several minutes of explanation in Chinese, the instructions in Japanese, like "10 minutes," were just single words indicating when to gather. While I can hold a basic conversation, I would prefer clear Japanese instructions for confirmations about meeting times and locations. Additionally, there are places where the meeting point is listed as Fukuoka Station instead of Hakata Station, which should be corrected. The tourist spots were good, but I felt the time spent there was too short.

When we arrived at Amano Iwato Shrine and Amano Yasugawara, could you at least introduce a god or share one of the myths? (There seemed to be too many introductions to souvenir shops.)

2. Can you stick to the schedule...?
According to the schedule, lunch was supposed to be at 12:00, but we arrived at Takachiho Gorge at 12:22, and we reached the restaurant at 12:45. After arranging the seats, lunch was served at 12:55.

The guide mentioned we would stay at Takachiho Gorge for one hour.
There is quite a difference between "90 minutes" and "60 minutes," don't you think?

ガイドさんは高千穂峡に1時間滞在しますと言っていました。
”90分”と”60分”で結構な差があります、そう思いませんか？

バスとして:星4、ガイドとして:星2。平均:星3。
観光スポットはちゃんと着いた、ありがとうございました。
海外でも日本の物語を知りたいの人がいます。
幸い、出発する前に一応調べだ、説明がなくでもいけます。

I applied for this tour without knowing it was for Chinese tourists. I was the only Japanese person, and it felt like I had traveled abroad while being in Japan.

Without any prior notice, the guide started speaking in Chinese, and I began to worry that there wouldn't be any Japanese guidance. Fortunately, they provided the minimum information regarding the meeting place and time, but after that, I felt a bit neglected. It seemed like they assumed that since I was Japanese, I could manage on my own.

Just because I'm Japanese doesn't mean I know the places, and I wanted explanations about the history and locations. When I asked, "What is this place about?" the guide replied, "I'm Chinese, so I don't know. Other Japanese people research before coming, so I don't provide explanations." When I asked, "What kind of explanations do you give to the Chinese guests?" they said, "We don't convey much detailed history to the Chinese either; they are satisfied with just knowing it's a beautiful place."

I was surprised… with so many Chinese visitors, it was disappointing that nothing about Japanese culture was being conveyed, just the photo opportunities. It might be a cultural difference, and ultimately, I was satisfied with the itinerary since it allowed me to visit places I wouldn't have been able to on my own in a single day. This experience made me realize how diligent and passionate Japanese guides are.

The Chinese tourists in the tour were polite, quiet during meals, and punctual, so I didn't feel any discomfort in that regard. More than the content of the tour, the way the tour was conducted was quite different from what I'm used to in Japan, and that left a lasting impression on me.

幸い最低限の集合場所、時間などの案内はしてくれますが、あとはほったらかし。
大勢の中国人相手しているんだから、日本人は自分でどうにかできるでしょう、といわんばかりの案内に少しガッカリしました。

日本人だからと場所のことを知っている訳では無いですし、歴史や場所の説明をして欲しかったのですが「この場所はどういうところなんですか？」と聞くとガイドさんは「私は中国人だからわからない、他の日本人は調べてから来るから説明はしてない」とのこと。。
「では中国の方にはどういう説明を？」と聞いたら「中国人にもあまり細かい歴史は伝えていない、綺麗な場所というだけで満足する」と。
ビックリというか…これだけ中国の方が来ているのに写真映えだけで、何も日本の文化が伝わっていないのかと残念でした。
文化の違いなのかもしれませんし、最終的には1人ではなかなか一日で回れないところを回ってくれるので行程には満足していますが、今回、改めて日本のガイドさんがいかに勤勉で熱心にガイドしてくれてるのかわかりました。
ツアーにいた中国人旅行客の方々は礼儀正しく、食事時も静かで時間も守ってくれるのでそのあたりには違和感ありませんでした。
ツアーの内容よりも、ツアーの仕方が日本のものとだいぶ違うのでそこの方が印象に残っています。

I was the only Japanese person, along with one Italian, one Canadian, and the rest were all Chinese (including Taiwanese and Hong Kong people due to the current situation). The guide could speak both Japanese and English reasonably well, but the guiding content was only in Chinese. However, within the range I could understand, there were many explanations about local specialties, how to worship at shrines and temples, and how to enjoy the lunch menu, which were mostly unnecessary for Japanese participants, so I didn't have any particular difficulties. During lunch, I attended to the Western participants and provided additional explanations in English about the meal and how to eat it (please send me the tips).

As long as you remember the departure time and meeting place (which were explained in both Japanese and English), there shouldn't be any issues. However, the excursion lasting over 12 hours felt a bit too packed. But there was enough time at each location, so it wasn't a rushed tour. There were also ample restroom breaks.

I recommend it if you are confident in your physical stamina.

The explanations of the sightseeing spots were also very well done and easy to understand. I definitely want to join this guide's tour again when I come to Fukuoka. There were 9 participants in the tour, and surprisingly, many people joined alone. Originally, we were supposed to just view Futamigaura from the car, but since we had a little extra time, we were able to get out of the car for 5 minutes to take a look!

Additionally, thanks to the driver's suggestion, we changed our lunch location to Akua, allowing us to have an early lunch after the boat tour and then walk to Totoro's Forest for sightseeing.

We were able to efficiently explore Itoshima, making it a wonderful trip. It seems there are other tours available, so next time I come, I will join a different tour!

ツアー参加人数が9人で、意外と1人で参加されている方が多かったです。
本来、車窓での観光であった二見ヶ浦では、少し時間があったため5分間だけ車から降りて見ることができました!
また、運転手さんの提案でお昼ごはんも芥屋へ変更したため、遊覧船後に早めに昼食を食べて歩いてトトロの森へ観光出来ました。

I thought it would be quite difficult to visit Takachiho on my own, so I joined this tour. I signed up for a two-night stay in Hakata while attending a relative's memorial service in Fukuoka. I took a flight from Haneda at 7 AM, arriving in Fukuoka at 9 AM. I chose this tour because they offered a pickup at the airport at 10 AM. However, I applied in January and received no communication by July. When I got on the bus, I asked about what to do with my checked luggage, but the response was confusing, saying it would be held at Hakata Station. In the end, the day I booked was canceled, but the tour would run the next day, so I could go then. I only found this out after contacting them three times right before the trip.

I canceled my planned hot spring visit for the next day and went to the "Kozushima Bridge + Motonosumi Shrine," which I had been looking forward to. I was told to cancel and reapply for that as well, which was a hassle.

Karakura Market was not good. You can skip it; it's much better to eat convenience store rice balls. While this is not your company's fault, I was disappointed because it was really delicious the last time I visited.

The highlight I was most looking forward to, "Kozushima Bridge + Motonosumi Shrine," was disappointing. We were supposed to have 15 minutes to sightsee at Kozushima Bridge, but we crossed without stopping. When I asked the driver, "Aren't we supposed to stop here?" he simply said, "We don't stop." We went to a lighthouse shortly after crossing the bridge, but only for 8 minutes. The person at the lighthouse said it takes 10 minutes to climb, and you can look around up there...

翌日予定していた温泉はキャンセルし、念願だった「角島大橋＋元乃隅神社」に行きました。
それも、一旦キャンセルしてから再度申し込みするようにと。面倒です。
唐戸市場は不味いです。食べなくっていいです。コンビニのおにぎり食べた方がよっぽど美味しい。まぁ、これは唐戸市場の責任で、貴社の責任ではないのですが。以前　行った時は本当に美味しかったのに、残念です。
1番の楽しみにしていた「角島大橋＋元乃隅神社」角島大橋は15分観光出来たはずなのに、停まることなく橋を渡ります。
運転手さんに「ここは停まるはずじゃあ？」と聞いても「停まらない」の
一言。橋渡ってちょっと行った灯台に行きました。しかも８分だけって。
灯台の人に聞いたら、登るのに10分。上でぐるっと見て回って。。。。と。
元乃隅神社だけは本当に良かったです。
運転手さんも前日、急に「明日空いてる？」って言われたとか。
本当にすべてが綱渡り状態で、二度と使う事はしないです。
