Great trip, very organised and informative. We had a brilliant experience, the guide was excellent, knowledgeable, told us all the local history and where best to go. Keiko was very polite, friendly and kept us very safe on the roads. We highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kyoto. What a beautiful place to visit.

Message: Hi, I’m JJ, your cycling tour guide of Kyoto Cycle Tour Project. I am 70 years old, but young at heart and full of physical and mental strength. I JUST LOVE KYOTO and would like to make your trip a lot more fun with the simple and exact explanation of the historic episodes and cultural aspects of Japan, which probably make your stay in Kyoto more memorable. I could briefly explain the history of Japan in 5 minutes with my paper titled "Brief History of Japan". I have special interest to discuss the incidents in 794, 1185, 1603, 1868 and 1945, turning points of Japan. With my abundant experience in the international business arena, living in 5 countries for 15 years and visiting 65 countries, I could easily talk with virtually any people in the world. Besides English, I could speak a bit of Spanish, Chinese. Both are at the primary 1 level, though. I will be expecting to meet you and enjoy cycling tour in Kyoto on the comfortable and refreshing wind.

- For safety reasons, there are conditions set for child participants. Should the children not fulfill the conditions, the cycling tour will be cancelled or replaced by a walking tour. However, please note that in the case of cancellation, the cancellation fee will be charged. In addition, adult participants are required to be able to ride on a public road.
- For safety reasons, children must be meet the following conditions to join.
1. Must be over 10 years of age.
2. Must be over 110 cm in height.
3. Must be able to ride a bike. - Those who cannot ride a bike may not participate.

- Please wear clothing suitable for cycling and closed toe shoes.
Additional notes
- To use the bicycle after the cycling tour, there will be an additional fee of 500 JPY per bicycle.
- Depending on weather conditions, a walking tour may be substituted for the cycling tour.
- Please note that traffic conditions and weather conditions may delay the cycling tour finishing time.
- In case the rented GoPro is damaged or lost, participants will be responsible for shouldering the full price of JPY40000.
- Participants may bring their own SD card for the rental GoPro or purchase onsite.
