Tour Guide Introduction

Name: JJ (nickname) or Yasunobu Yagyu
Message: Hi, I’m JJ, your cycling tour guide of Kyoto Cycle Tour Project. I am 70 years old, but young at heart and full of physical and mental strength. I JUST LOVE KYOTO and would like to make your trip a lot more fun with the simple and exact explanation of the historic episodes and cultural aspects of Japan, which probably make your stay in Kyoto more memorable. I could briefly explain the history of Japan in 5 minutes with my paper titled "Brief History of Japan". I have special interest to discuss the incidents in 794, 1185, 1603, 1868 and 1945, turning points of Japan. With my abundant experience in the international business arena, living in 5 countries for 15 years and visiting 65 countries, I could easily talk with virtually any people in the world. Besides English, I could speak a bit of Spanish, Chinese. Both are at the primary 1 level, though. I will be expecting to meet you and enjoy cycling tour in Kyoto on the comfortable and refreshing wind.

Name:Hiro
Message: Hello! Bon jour! My name is Hiro. I’ve been working as a cycling tour guide in Kyoto. I have a license of government licensed tour guide in English and speak French a little. Now I live in Osaka, I love snowboarding, full marathon and of course cycling. Getting around by bike is very comfortable even in a busy tourist season you can enjoy with no traffic congestion. As you may know, cycling helps boost your metabolism. In Kyoto, you can also enjoy countless historical sites. Kyoto is not only an old capital but also the country’s cultural heart. Put your kickstand up, and join our bike tour! J'espère vous voir bientôt ! Merci !

Name:Annie
Message: Hi,I’m Annie, a cycling guide from KCTP. I love cycling and talking to people from different countries. I’ve been working for KCTP for more than 5 years. I enjoy myself to show the beautiful spots in Kyoto and tell the interesting stories about impressive Japanese culture to foreign visitors. Actually, I don’t live in Kyoto. I live near Kobe (famous town with Kobe beef) and it takes three hours for commuting every time. In spite of the long commuting time, the town of Kyoto attracts me and makes me want to work there. Now, Kyoto is very busy with a lot of tourists, but still, there are many little-known spots and cycling is the best way to visit these places! Why don’t you join us? Let’s cycle on quiet small streets and find the real Kyoto!
